This is a great solution to using multiple remotes, easy setup and the shortcut icons on the touchscreen is a nice bonus. Would've gave 5 stars but started having problems after two years. Now the screen will not sleep and the battery is draining in just a few hours. Will try contacting service later.

    Excellent remote

I bought the remote for my entertainment setup. Activities can be set-up to do some pretty unique things imo, rather than simply turn on/off everything. For example: on my LG WEBOS tv, I can have it open the home bottom screen, move all the way over to my youtube app, and start it, all by pressing the youtube activity. Overall things work smoothly 95% of the time. I already owned a harmony HUB, which I do think makes it more versatile/less frustrating. I also like how you can control devices individually not strictly via activities. -1 star due to wild price.

    Upgrading from Harmony 650

I was hesitant on purchasing such an expensive remote, as the Logitech 650 was doing it's job properly, but one of the buttons stopped working. I tried re-routing the buttons, as to not use the faulty button, but it became a big hassle. I did a lot of research on the Harmony 950, and it has it's pro's and cons. PROS: Easy to set up, especially if you have your configurations saved from your 650. Faster at turning on all my devices than my 650 Touch screen, with a hint of lag, but not a deal breaker. Love the look and feel. Option to add a Harmony Hub CONS: Price, Price, Price. The hint of lag on the touche screen.

    Problem fixed

The previous Harmony remote controls had the touchscreen in the middle with buttons above and below. This lead to numerous problems when one attempted to reach across the screen to use the buttons at the top. The screen is capacitive. You don’t have to touch it for it to respond. Merely getting close is enough. The old device would constantly do goofy, unexpected things, changing channels or exiting the play back of a recording. This device corrects the biggest problem Logitech had with their touchscreen remotes. It’s still not as good a touchscreen as an iphone. I wish that there were a way to permanently disable their idiotic swipe controls. It is still by far the best universal remote control that I have ever used.

I have 2 Harmony Ones, Harmony 700, and a Harmony 900. I have always thought that the Harmony One and 900 were ergonomically the best remotes ever. I even bought a used Harmony One because I hated the new style. Finally Harmony has come back to the fold, with a charging cradle (must have) and an ergonomically pleasing remote. The updates with the favorite channels and icons (I used to have to manually download JPEGs of the channels and import them) is a winner. The remote is simple to program and you can now manage multiple remotes from their new software, instead of needing individual logins for each remote. If you want to go through cabinets, get the Harmony Elite, which is basically the Harmony 950 with RF capabilities. I didn't need to go through anything, so the 950 was the logical choice. Features such as swipe up and down on the screen for volume control, swipe right and left for rewind and fast forward makes it really easy too. As a dedicated Harmony user for 5 years, I put this at the top of my list and is the only way to go. Unless you have rabbit ears coming out of your TV, I would recommend this device.

Setup was a breeze. My only gripe is that the price is borderline outrageous for a tv remote. This is a $100 item at best with at $200 price tag.

This remote works well. I was easily able to replace my broken older harmony remote that I damaged by accident. Almost no effort... Very happy and about a month later I am very happy with how this remote is working. I would buy this again!

I love these controllers. The setup process is tedious and troublesome if you are setting up more than one remote on your account. Both of which have to do a lot of functions. But overall, I enjoy using them.

The remote works excellent and paired with the hub can turn items on without line of sight. The major draw back is that the touch screen is super finicky. One time you will press it won’t work, the next time you don’t hit anything and it works. Seems pretty random on the touch sensitivity for such an expensive remote. That said, with the hub it controls my Phillips hue and all my inputs amazingly well.

Harmony let's you control your TV with just 1 remote. Quality of the product I am not sure of. The first one we had malfunctioned before one year was up. This one we've only had for a month and the battery runs low very quickly. I don't know if that's normal or not .

I owned a Harmony Remote previously. So having a basic understanding of the software, commands and timing was helpful but till required some patience. Realistically I have had this for several months and only until now I have everything working correctly. Purchasing the hub is an absolute must when operating multiple devices. Personally I prefer the MyHarmony PC program to the Harmony app. It allows for more detail when compatibility issues arise. Absolutely and amazing addition to a Home theater setup.

This replaces a Harmony 1 remote, that one of the buttons quit working. This my 3rd Harmony I also have the 700. This is as easy as ever to set up. Get the model numbers of your equipment, download the software answer, answer a few questions than put all those other remotes away. What I don't like about this is no number pad. The number keyboard is on the touch screen. A quick swipe will get you to it but it needs to be on the body of the remote.

Remote works nicely with the Harmony Hub. I do not think it is worth the amount they are charging but it definitely is a wonderful remote. I would recommend getting it when it is on sale or include it with a large purchase with the financing options. If you buy the remote alone I think you will be disappointed in the amount of money you spend compared to the features. Harmony has other remotes that are just as good as this one in my opinion.

Easy to program and use. Do wish it had physical number buttons versus the touchscreen ones...can't 'slide' from one digit to the next and fat fingers make touchscreen buttons hit-n-miss. Customer support is great, but only free for the first 45 days. So what happens if I add a device later that isn't fully supported? I have to pay to get them to resolve it?

This controller takes a little time to set it up, but once you get that done, it is sweet. It is so nice to be able to control the tv, receiver, DVD, cd, etc from one controller.
