I love my robot vacuum. If you have carpet or hardwood floors it works on either and doesnt seem to get stuck transitioning between the two different surfaces. I personally have tile and carpet in my house for instance. If you have more than one pet or one that sheds a lot I would think about upgrading to the robot vacuum that automatically empties its bin or get a standard vacuum because the bin on this thing isn't very big and I spend a lot of time emptying it in a single cleaning but I also have 2 dogs both who are big shedders. I do love the fact that you can set it on a schedule and let it go and not even think about it. Again if you have any kind of pet that sheds Id upgrade to the IRobot that self empties its bin or stick to a traditional vacuum. If you dont have pets or ones that shed this is a great vacuum.

I saw the Roomba work at my son's house over the holidays. I wanted that! With 2 dogs, I can set the Roomba for a vaccum every day. It does a good job, goes under furniture to get dust bunnies. I clean it when it finishes. Easy to use, even from my cell phone. I'm glad I got it and that it works like I expected.

My daughter wanted one for her house so all we could say was merry Christmas . She has 2 dogs that shed a lot. This will make her life at home a lot easier

This little machine does learns (or maps) the house layout. It really does a good job of cleaning. Living in the AZ desert there is a lot of dust and sand. It has really kept our house much cleaner. I was skeptical about the whole thing. It costs a lot. But it is worth it. The ability to map the cleaning floor plan is very important . Lesser models may do less mapping.

We absolutely LOVE our Roomba! We recently bought a large condo and needed a machine that could go back and charge, then finish the job. This one is perfect! Every once in awhile it will get stuck on something (usually the bathroom rug) but more often than not will get itself free and continue cleaning. We run ours everyday while we are at work. It's great to come home to a freshly vacuumed house!

The Roomba, or as my two year old affectionately calls it "Beep Beep", has been a great help in putting off my routine vacuuming. While the Roomba is not meant to replace a traditional vacuum it definitely helps in delaying how often we use one. Our typical useage looks like this. Clean up toys and other objects off the floor where we want it to clean. Empty out the dust bin, sometimes it doesn't detect it is emptied and you have to wipe the sensors clean. Then set it off on it's way. We have a fairly thick/fuzzy carpet and it fills up every time. About 15-20% of the time it will fail to do its "job", typically because I neglected to pick an object up and it gets stuck in the rollers. It's suggested you wipe the sensors every time but I'm lazy, why else would I buy a robot to vacuum my floors for me. We do this every 2-3 days, unless the floor is particularly messy/dirty. We would otherwise vacuum about once a week (no pets), but we can now get away with doing it around once or twice a month. The ability to control it from your phone is nice, but you have to try to remember to pick up the floor prior to starting it remotely, so it either doesn't get stuck and/or it cleans the whole floor. Overall satisfied with the purchase, but would like to see them release more powerful vacuums that require less maintenance/cleaning in the future...or make another robot to clean it.

We tried a similar version of this many years ago (early adopters) and overall were disappointed. Fast forward to current time.. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. This one works great! Gentle with furniture and catches everything we hoped it would. Easy to clean. A welcome addition to our home!

Love so much ! Keeps my house floors so clean ! The app makes it so much easier to use. If I didn’t use the app, I may recommend the lesser model though

We purchased the iRobot to eliminate one of the many household tasks. We watched a YouTube review which suggested the 960, i7, and i9 all have more suction power, which I guess is needed for hardwood floors. Being this was our first robot vacuum we went with the less expensive option of the 3. The vacuum does an okay job. I would say it picks up 98% of the floor. The sweeping arm has a tendency to shoot bigger debris into already swept paths, which can cause that piece to be left. It can really mess with your OCD if it misses something. However, even with the very few misses, I would recommend this product to anyone. I love it can be put on a daily schedule, set it and forget it. For spills there’s a spot clean button, where the bot will clean only that small space. Purchasing this really comes down to how much vacuuming bothers you. If you’re like me, I can’t stand it. I love that I don’t have to waste any my time and my house is consistently clean. On the flip side, If getting out a push style vacuum doesn’t bother you, I’m sure they probably do a slightly better job.

Product set up was super easy. I cannot stop telling everyone how much I love this product. So far maintenance has been very easy, with all of the pieces being easily accessible. I do have to empty to bin after each use because it is small, but it does a very good job - and I have 2 dogs to clean up after. With the app, and scheduling feature I can vacuum everyday!

It's a fun machine...but it does a fantastic job, under the bed, under the sofa, works under my dining room table and chairs, doesn't miss a thing. I programmed into my cell phone, so I can tell it to clean, and clean it does. When it is finishes it simply goes home and parks itself. Love it!

I vacuumed before I first ran it and it still picked up a lot of dirt. I like that it has the brushes on the side so it cleans along edges better than my canister vacuum. I connected it to my Google Home and I got the app and set it up to run weekdays at 8:30 A.M. and so far it has started every morning that it is scheduled to run, but, for some reason it also started at 2 random times. I don't know if it is the fault of my Google Home or the Roomba or what. It picks up enough dirt that I try to empty it every day, a second day is okay, but, a third would be pushing it.

Love this roomba! I run it every other day, and even when I think the floors look clean it fills the bin up every time! It does seem to stay in one room for an excessive amount of time, but that would be my only compliant. With 2 dogs, this really does help keep the floors much cleaner.

I heard from several people that this machine was ‘awesome, you need to get this’! I thought there’s no way this thing is going to work that well. I probably wouldn’t have entertained getting it, but I purchased Xmas gifts from Best Buy that the recipient already had and ended up returning them outside the return window by a day and ended up with over $300 store credit. So I thought ok, what the heck I’m almost half way there. It sat in the box at home for 2 days because I thought I didn’t have time to set this thing up. Finally took it out for “setup”,what a joke! This thing is Plug and Play!! The hardest thing about setup was taking the tape off various areas that was holding things in place for shipping! Even the app for the phone was a breeze! When this robot started to do its thing, I couldn’t believe my eyes! It does a thorough job and programming is easy. At first I was getting “bin full” notifications within a short time of starting. It was frustrating because I would come home from work and the bin was not full and the cleaner had been sitting on the home charger all day! I soon figured out that the particular sensor for that is quite sensitive. However, there is a solution. There is an over ride in the app to ignore it. Once I turned that on, floors are clean when I walk in thru the door at the end of the day, how nice is that?!?! The only complaint I have really is that sometimes it will get “stuck”. It’s happened 3 times, twice in the same spot. Easy fix,use the “fake wall” boundary that comes with the robot and don’t let it under that piece of furniture. Make sure you get at least the 960 model. You’ll want one that can go back to “home”, recharge and finish the job. I love this thing! Don’t expect perfection..it’s not going to do your Spring and Fall cleaning. But it’s doing a better job cleaning the floors on a daily basis than I am able to!! It’s so nice to come home from work to see what “ Hazel” has done for you! Now if they just would come out with a robot that will wash,fold and put laundry away!!

I love this iRobot vac. It cleans very well and is very thorough. It cleans corners very well and picks up dog hair easily. It returns back to its base if battery is low on its own and resumes when battery is charged back up. A must buy for dog owners with hardwood floors like myself. Saves me so much time and can control it with my iPhone.

My brother gave me a Roomba 600 series a couple of years ago and I loved it. I had it scheduled to go off daily and I have a fairly large house so I finally just wore it out. I choose this model to replace it and it is such an improvement! Much quieter and seems to clean better. I would recommend this model to anyone!

I bought a second a week later. Greatest investment I’ve made in my house. Run it all the time and keeps the house clean. Took about a week to learn the layout of the house and then was great. Make sure works in enough light when I run it at night doesn’t always make it throughout the house.

I do enjoy owning the iRobot but it has flaws. I come home and have to find it because it dies and doesn't return home. I have a few rugs that aren't thick and it gets stuck on them. It also goes in circles when it's confused and nothing has changed. Good thing is it does pick up a lot of dirt and pet hair.

This Roomba does a great job cleaning the wood floors through out the house. We did need to setup the base station in a place where it would run with the would floor planks and not across them. The noise level is far more noticeable on the wood than when running over carpet. On carpet its pretty quite. It does take at least 1 charge to sweep the whole main floor of the house.

An expensive robot vacuum but thus far after a couple of months it is working well. Efficient cleaning operation with good pathing AI. Does not get hung up or stuck easily. Cleans evenly throughout room. Only issue is bin fills quickly. Works well with Alexa and the app is easy and effective to use. Overall pleased with purchase and quality of item.
