Bought this for four reasons. It is small. It scans. The print heads are built into the cartridges. It is wireless. It is being used by my daughter for college work. My expensive HP 8600 heads went out after minimal use and the replacements are hard to come by and very expensive. No more of that for me! Frankly, I was reluctant to buy another HP product. There was an HP factory rep at Best Buy who helped me select this model. My daughter has only been using this for about a month, but it is inexpensive enough to be disposable if it breaks. The setup was pretty easy. I scanned the code on the quick instruction sheet and it took me to a website that walked me through the process. I finished the setup from an app I installed on my iPhone. Then went to daughter's MacBook Pro, found the printer and simply started using it. Couldn't have been simpler. It is being used in a very small apartment, so space is at a premium. There are some refurbished models on the website for a very good price. I bought one of those too for use at my home.

This thing sucks. Was a pain to setup with HP instant ink, prints extremely slow. The paper tray that catches the paper doesn’t collect pages well. It shoots them out and gets jammed easily. Save yourself the hassle and look for a better option.

I hate this printer. Ink sprays everywhere on the inside of the printer when I use it. I told HP. They sent a new printer. Next one did same thing. This printer is messy and bad quality. I wish I could just get my money back and buy a new printer.

I did a ton of research on which printer I wanted, and this one was on my list of printers to look further into. I wanted something small, wireless, and under $70. The guys at the store led me to this one, as the HP OfficeJet 4650 was not in stock, and my first choice. I read some reviews on this product and decided to give it a try. One review said they had a really hard time setting it up, so I was pretty nervous about what I was in for. It worked immediately for me and only took about 15 minutes to set up. It fits perfectly on my desk and the print quality is good. It's not the best printer I've ever had, which is the only reason I am giving it a 4/5. But it works for me and I'm happy with it.

The printer takes so long to print out papers. Maybe it can be useful to someone who doesn’t print much.

I am a big fan of hp printers & only ever buy hp. I had to replace an all-in-one desktop of mine that "SOMEHOW" the glass in the scanner area got shattered. Still to this day don't know what happened nor does anyone in my house for some reason...hmmm. Well, luckily hp is an inexpensive brand & I actually was gifted my last printer, so no $ lost on my part. I purchased this printer for the features & smaller size. This thing turned out to be very small & I love it! It works great & I love the wireless printing capabilities. This printer is fast & doesn't make noise for very long. It's not super quiet, but it prints so fast that it doesn't matter & it's not really loud anyways. I had to take away one star due to the scanner quality. I wasn't used to not being able to lay my document flat to scan & it took a while to be able to figure out how to get the paper to feed through straight. I still have to redo my scan a couple of times trying to get it perfectly straight sometimes. I also am not sure if I could scan something hard like a drivers license or something, so we'll see when that time comes. The quality of the scan is not as good as any other hp all-in-one I had before. It picks up any wrinkle or imperfection in the paper & you can't do much about that. It makes a copy super fast though & I do love that. It also prints out a communication page letting you know that you are connected or if you need to press a button or anything & I love that feature. The ink cartridges are very easily accessible & changed as any other hp printer. The cartridges in this printer are actually less expensive than I've purchased with any of my other hp printers that I've had before as well. I would recommend this printer for its low budget price & this is a perfect printer for space saving as well. If you want 100% perfect scans though, I'd go with an hp printer with the traditional style scanner though. Don't get me wrong, the scan quality isn't bad at all, just not as perfect as I was used to with my other hp all-in-one's.

Compact and packed with all you would need for basic home printing, and small enough to be mobile, this printer from HP can tackle it all. I'm impressed with it's easy set up , smooth and sleek appearance, as well as its weight. This printer is home run.

I purchased this printer for its compact size and fun mint/sea green color. I previously had a huge, bulky canon pixma printer that took up a ton of space and had very expensive ink ($60-$80 to replace all ink). I love the size and color of the HP deskjet printer and its low cost ink (just $25 total to replace black and color). I'm happy with this printer and would buy again! One thing tho - when I turned on the printer and tried installing the ink for the first time, it made a loud clunking noise, and the ink cartridges wouldn't move. There was this little black piece sticking up blocking the cartridges from moving. I ended up turning off the printer, then pushed the black piece down and released it (did this 2-3 times), then I turned on the printer again - and the black piece finally moved down, allowing the cartridges to move out. Kinda weird and concerning - but I've been using the printer for 2-3 weeks now with no issues. Printing isn't super fast, but neither was my more expensive canon printer, so I'm fine with it. Would buy again.

This printer is quick and efficient. Easy to setup and is available to print from our phones. Also love that it doesn’t take up too much space. Cheap printer and ink is also cheap.

This is a compact printer which takes up very little space. It prints clear and concise. It does as much as comparable printers that are huge. It scans but does not fax which is fine since faxing isn't necessary with a scanner. The BIG bonus is it only requires 2 ink cartridges and they are less than $12.00 I recommend this if you only print for personal purposes. I am a very happy customer.

Needed an affordable printer for day to day printing needs, kids homework, applications etc. Takes up very little space. This printer fit the bill for easy to use and set up, quality printing and affordable. Prints directly from my iPhone and also works as a copy machine. Overall great little printer for the price.

I was looking for a good quality All-in-One printer to fit in a small space. This is the only one I could find with all the features and dimensions I needed. It was difficult to set up using the USB cable..I could not get it to work after multiple attempts, even though it looked like it installed correctly. I finally gave up, disconnected the cable, and used the WiFi connection only. It installed and works fine now. The scanner functions by feeding one sheet at a time manually (it is not a flatbed scanner), so if you need to do a lot of scanning, or want to scan from a book or magazine, this is not the printer you need. Print quality is excellent. This is a great solution if you only have a small space, but still want the ability to print, copy, and scan.

This printer works well, the printer quality is good, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and maintenance is easy. Changing ink cartridges is very simple, and the initial setup is simple. It's not exactly plug and play, you do need to go through the instructions to set it up properly but it's not difficult.
