Premium feel, quiet typing

If you are not looking for mechanical keyboard feel and quiet and precise typing, this is one is a great option to consider. I really enjoy typing on this. The keys have good travel and quiet. It's heavy and that's on the plus side for me. Its not moving around while typing and it feels premium overall.
If connected to three devices, the switching is instantaneous. It's bit expensive and it's geat to type on.

I love this keyboard. I chose it because I liked the way the circular keys felt under my fingers. Turns out, I really appreciate all the extra features. It's nice to have my home and work computers connected to the same keyboard. I also like being able to use it for my tablet and phone when I need to (the built in tablet/phone stand is pretty great too). It was easy to set up and is responsive when I want to switch devices. It occasionally does weird things (like typing z continuously when I am no longer touching the keyboard), but not too often and turning it off and on solves the problem.
It doesn't have an adjustable height, but the slight incline is perfect for me. I also really like the rubberized bottom, so it doesn't move around or scratch my desk.
It's light and compact and I haven't had to replace the battery yet.
I ordered a compatible mouse that I'm less pleased with, it's super buggy and so I can't use the mouse and keyboard in the full function of the flow from screen to screen, but that's a problem with the mouse. Logitech's customer service was not helpful and I gave up. But I still really like the keyboard.

Now I have two. This thing is a great keyboard simply for typing before getting into all of its special features, and I should know, as I've spent over two decades hunting through ergonomic keyboards and mechanical keyboards and every other niche keyboard technology looking for the easiest way to type with the hand and wrist pains that I've always had. So, just with that and the robust build quality of thing, I can highly recommend it.
However, this is not just a great typing interface, it has much extra to offer. It runs on bluetooth and Logitech Unify technologies simultaneously so you can connect with anything you need it to, but can have an extra stable connection to anything that can offer you a free USB port for a Logitech Unifying Adapter (which will also let you connect a Logitech wireless mouse of your choice via the same, single USB dongle).
The most noticeable feature is the large tablet/phone rest that runs the length of the thing. You can easily get any tablet I know of and a phone on there, but I've used it with an iPad and a Surface 3 quite handily. The unit is surprisingly heavy and can handle most loads unless you turn everything portrait which may move the center of gravity too high in some situation. This situation would be a ridiculous over application of technology, though, as it would require the combination of 2 iPad Pros or Surfaces placed in portrait.
Another big feature is the by now standard keys for easily switching among 3 paired devices. Most standard configuration would be one desktop system (perfectly compatible with Windows, Mac or Linux), one tablet and one phone, though anything is possible. I run a PC, iPad and Surface in my office, but with my second unit upstairs, I run iPad, iPhone and Surface. The second unit also serves some times on a lap desk, or even just on my lap when I sit on a couch, and it serves quite well in all those capacities.
This is simply the best and most useful keyboard made to date. The only other keyboards I still use regularly out of my huge collection are a ClamCase keyboard for my iPad and the TypeCover on my Surface 3, both only when I'm out of the house, for convenience as well as protection of the tablets themselves. Even my prized old Logitech K750 Solar is sitting in a box, poised to come out as back up in case of a dire emergency that likely will never come (did I mention these keyboards are built like tanks?)
Do yourself a favor ... if you need a keyboard, for any reason, just go for the K780. You may never find a use for everything it can do for you, but it types like a dream, may last forever, and even at full MSRP is one of the cheapest quality boards available.

I really like this keyboard. First off let me say it's heavy. Sturdy construction, unlike some other keyboard out there that could break at the first hard press of on enter key. They keys themselves are fluid. No stuck keys when typing. It's compatible with anything thrown at it, and had the memory keys for different devices that have Bluetooth. Even comes with an USB BT if it don't.
Even got a rubberized holder to secure a tablet or a cell phone.
It seems to be missing something. Not sure what. Maybe it is the lack of indication that it is still functioning. Light up keyboard? This thing is so good, it's plain and basic.
Money well spent.

I love my new Logitech Wireless Scissor Keyboard. It works great with all my devices & operating systems. My Computer, TV, Tablet and my iPhone, It is very well made, the keys are easy to use, I love the rubber cradle on the back that holds up my 12.9in iPad Pro and my phone if I need to use them. It is not a cheap/poorly made Scissor keyboard. It is heavy and very well made. Definitely the best keyboard that I have ever used or owned. Highly recommended!!

Multi-Device Function--it works! I have used this with an iPhone Xs, Android tablet, Ryzen-Based desktop, Dell laptop, Lenovo mobile workstation and it works really well with everything. My main home rig consists of a desktop and laptop and, if you have an M585 for M590 mouse you can switch devices just by moving to the edge of one screen and onto the other. Very handy and, so far, it works better than other standalone solutions that I have tried for this. Even without that switching between devices using the 3 keys is very easy. It would be nice if the light on the selection key stayed lit on the active one but not a big deal.
The white lip at the top of the keyboard is a nice holder for your smaller devices--tablets and phones. You could very easily take this and a tablet or phone to a meeting for note-taking--much easier than un-docking my mobile workstation.
The layout of the keyboard is really nice. I prefer the location of the number keys and don't miss the keys that are normally in between the keyboard and number pad. This is more ergonomic as you can have your mouse more in-line with your shoulder.
The keys are very nice with good feel for quick typing but it is quieter than most keyboards. This is really nice in an office environment where you can become aware of clacky keyboards. Getting use to the round keys was pretty easy and they feel good letting you know your fingers are centered.
Construction feels very solid and it is very heavy compared to most keyboards. I am sure that this is just additional weight added but it really does have a nice build quality feel to it. The black texture on the top and keys is very nice and comfortable.
Linking to your 3 devices is a very easy process--just click one of the 3 white buttons, start pairing on the device, type in the code the device gives you.
The Logitech Options software utility is very nice and fairly straightforward. for a keyboard it tells you which 3 devices are paired to it, allows you to change the default function of the F1-F12 keys, etc and it will also control your compatible Logitech Mice.
The only real complaint that I have about it is that sometimes it seems to take awhile to wake it and the associated computer up after inactivity. It has been a fairly minor thing. As a side-note--I always assume that you should have a wired USB keyboard lying around for trouble-shooting and accessing your BIOS on startup (if you are into that.) It is also expensive for a wireless keyboard but I think the functionality makes it a reasonable value.

Another good keyboard from Logitech, and I have used a few. These days, the ability to quickly switch between 3 distinct devices is more of a need than a nice-to-have, and this keyboard delivers. Solid construction, firm feel to keys but with short press distance. Very comfortable for long sessions. The holder at the top for tablets and phones is perfect, and the whole thing is compact and portable. Minor quibble: arrow keys are quite tiny.

I bought this keyboard due to the fact that I have been living on the road with the only source of internet on my phone.
Pros:
1. It switches easily between bluetooth connections with a single touch.
2. The contoured chicklet-type keys are a joy to type on.
3. Inclusion of Android, Windows, and Apple keys makes this a universal choice.
4. The soft-rubber exterior firmly grips any device.
5. Super-long battery life.
6. USB wireless receiver included in battery compartment ensures that it will work with any device you require.

This keyboard is great to have your computer and tablets/phones hooked up to at the same time. All you have to do is just hit one of the three buttons for the device you want to operate and you're off! This has a RIDICULOUS battery life. I have had mine for just over a year now and have NEVER replaced the original batteries. And I use this thing for an average of 10 hours a day! Logitech claims you can get 2 years of battery life, so we'll see! The keys are great and the weight of the keyboard keeps it from slipping around, which is very nice when you are trying to work (or play). This is without a doube one of the best purchases I have made.

The Logitech K780 Multi-device Wireless Keyboard was first introduced in 2016, so this is definitely not one of the latest models and tech there is out there. But the fact that it's still selling after 4 years alone says something about it's quality and performance.
With COVID-19 and working from home, most have made adjustments to better balance work and life. For me, I purchased a KVM switch only to find out that it wouldn't read my Logitech keyboard and mouse dongle. Not wanting to go back to corded mouse and keyboard, I decided to spend the money on the Logitech K780.
I paired it to my desktop, a laptop, and a tablet and switching between the three is a breeze. After removing the Bluetooth adapter from the desktop, I replaced it with the keyboard dongle and kept the laptop and tablet paired via Bluetooth. Switching between devices was still a breeze and without issue. The keyboard runs on 2 AAA batteries, has an auto shut off feature, and boasts an average lifespan of 2 years.
The keyboard is much heavier than I expected, but after using it with my iPad Pro (12.9"), I know why the weight is needed. The cradle is pretty shallow and with a tablet resting in it, the weight keeps it from becoming top heavy and flipping over. While the 12.9" iPad Pro sits nicely on it, I found that if you tapped the top portion of the iPad, there is the possibility of it toppling over, so be sure to remember to tap gently. The cradle is made of a dense rubber like material and holds phones and tablets with ease. The only notable here is that those devices can't be in in their own protective cases, otherwise it won't fit.
The base is firmly attached to the keyboard and cannot be removed. The keyboard itself is a full size keyboard with six rows and a number pad to the right. Once nice feature with this keyboard is that it recognizes the devices OS and the keyboard auto adjusts the layout. So if you're working on a desktop running Windows and switch to a Mac Book running iOS, keys such as Alt and Ctrl will automatically change functions depending on which operating system you’re working in.
The keys themselves are round and concave. There is a very short travel distance and they very quiet and very responsive even to the slightest touches. The keys are spaced apart to support those with larger hands, but this naturally inconveniences those with smaller hands. The only other notables are that the keys are not back lit, and there are no NUM lock and caps lock status indicators.
Overall, I think it's a solid buy. It's easy to pair, and easy to switch from one device to another. The fact that it recognizes the OS and adjusts the keyboard layout accordingly is a great feature. And the ability to connect via dongle is super convenient for those devices without Bluetooth. The RRP had recently come down again and now sits at $59.95, about 40% cheaper than it's introduction price 4 years ago. But let's face it, it's a 4 year old model, and nothing on it has changed. The keyboard is a little on the heavy side at about 2 lbs, so that does dampen the portability factor, but if you can handle this weight, it's definitely sturdy enough to handle the travel in your gear bag.
I'd give the keyboard a 5 star, but it doesn't have backlit keys, and the cradle can't handle phones with protective cases, so I'm knocking it down one star. It's still a great keyboard, and with the recent price drop, it's one that you should definitely consider if you want to free your thumbs from the small screen.
If you're like most people and you have protective cases for your phone and tablet, and you need something that is super portable, you may want to check out the Logitech K380. It's a more compact keyboard without the number pad and cradle, but it does have the same features as the K780. If you need the cradle and still want more portability, the K480 would be your middle ground. Like the K380, the K480 is without the number pad. Prices for the K380 & K480 are $29.99 & $34.99 respectively.

I bought this keyboard for my entertainment room. I wanted a bluetooth keyboard with a number pad and the option to connect to multiple devices. I have this keyboard setup with the following devices:
PC (connected via bluetooth)
PS4 (connected via RF adapter)
iPhone (connected via bluetooth)
Items I can provide feedback on:
1.) This keyboard is heavy. It’s weighted so if you put a full-sized tablet in the device slot, it will not tip over. This is not a bad thing at all, just something I didn’t think about when I purchased it.
2.) This keyboard does NOT pair via bluetooth to a PS4. Thankfully it comes with a USB RF mini transceiver and I use that to connect my PS4 to this keyboard.
3.) I wasn’t sure about the round keys, but they have a nice tactile feel to them and the key press is comfortable and quiet.
4.) The device slot along the top of the keyboard is wide enough to hold my iPhone13 in its case (portrait or landscape).
5.) The power switch is along the upper right side of the keyboard. It’s small and out of the way.
6.) The function keys F1-F3 are utilized as device switches. You need to use the fn button to utilize the function keys as a standard keyboard.
7.) The battery compartment cover is not the greatest; however, since the keyboard is rated to provide ~20 months of use on 2 AAA batteries, you do not have to go into it very often.
8.) The keyboard does not tilt (due to the built in device tray it would not make sense). Given this sits in my lap for most of its use, it does not bother me.
Overall I’m very happy with the keyboard and would buy another if needed.

The keys are very soft and pleasant to type on. It’s quite easy to get into a very fast rhythm with this keyboard. Very pleased with the purchase overall. Only complaint would be the weight. When I first purchased it I thought I would like a heavy keyboard that would be very stable however I move the keyboard around a great deal while working. Whether it be to make space for books, sketch pads, or even lunch. I have found the keyboard to be quite difficult to move with its weight and very slim profile. You also cannot push the keyboard away. The feet are incredibly tacky and stick to my desk surface like glue which definitely is a plus just makes moving it that much harder. Again definitely recommend. A good alternative to the Mac keyboards that are so expensive

I was looking for wireless keyboard for my Surface Pro 4, which I dock and use as a desktop keyboard. It was displayed on an endcap at Best Buy, so I stopped and had a look. I liked the look immediately, with its low profile and the solid weight when I picked it up. In use, it sits firmly on my glass topped deak and does not slide around at all due to the solid rubber feet and that weight. I'd say it's heavier than the average keyboard in spite of being smaller. That weight , the keyboard's wdith and it's relatively shallow depth make it a very nice lap keyboard if I want to sit back from the desk -- probably not planned for that but nice bit of serendipity. (I'm doing that now.)
The keys are a little closer together than a standard keyboard and but still comfortable. They give good tactile feedback with a short travel distance but are very quiet. The layout is a little eccentric with regard to accessory keys (delete, numlock, etc) and it does without a home or end key, which took a little getting used to. Having done so, not a problem.
A great thing about the keyboard is the incredibly convenient tablet stand at the top of the keyboard. This is probaably why the keyboard is as heavy as it is, in order to provide stability for any device you'd care to use it with. It's angled nicely and seem to hold pretty much anything. I've even put my Surface in it, and it holds most securely.
I have found that it pairs quickly and smoothly with everything I've tried: wireless Logitech dongle, Bluetooth to IPhone, Bluetooth to Kindle, Bluetooth to Surface. On every device there is no lag, even when starting to type after a break or first thing in the morning.
Minor complaint: the angle of keyboard itself is not adjustable. It sits flat on the desk, probably to make the device stand more stable.
I like this keyboard so much that I bought a second one for work on my own dime. I love using good tools, and this is definitely a great one.

I happen to love this keyboard. I am not sure that it is for everyone, but for me it does everything that I need. It allows me to connect my personal phone, business phone, and my laptop all at once. This saves me a lot of space. I wish that the phone holder was a little larger but since I use it in the car most of the time, my phones are on their stands. All in all, the keyboard switches quickly, seems to be using very little battery life, and is as accurate as any other keyboard I have use. Great product for those of us stuck with multiple devices. Also, the keypad is an absolute life saver for me!!

Was needing a way to keep up with my various methods of messaging without putting personal accounts on my employer-provided desktop, so I got this to work with my iMac for work stuff and my iPad for all my communications. It works wonderfully for that purpose, and the switching between devices is quick and seamless. I also occasionally use the copy/paste feature between devices, although I find it only works well with text and it can take a little bit of time. Love the key feel, and was surprised how hefty it actually is.

Sweet Spot Between Functionality, Style, and Price

I was searching for a keyboard with the following functionality and statistics: 1) Three distinct Bluetooth connections switchable on the fly; 2) keys that didn't feel too mushy; 3) a full layout, with dedicated Home/End/Page Up/Page Down buttons; 4) a brand I can trust; and 5) not spending an arm and a leg.
Although the K780 does not meet all of this criteria, its sweet spot between price and quality/durability was what made the sale for me. 1) Three Bluetooth connections? Check. 2) Keys are slightly mushy, but not terribly so. 3) No full layout, but I can get used to holding an extra modifier key to page up and down in large documents. 4) I've never had issues with Logitech products in the past. This keyboard has a wonderful heft to it, looking chic while feeling durable. And it has a dedicated power switch, which is a plus. 5) Less expensive than Logitech's MX line of keyboards, but more stylish than their lower end of models.
Having a built-in rail to rest a phone or tablet on the keyboard wasn't a determining factor for me, but I've found it to be quite useful. Note that this rail comes in two colors, off-white and marbled/speckled something or another. The solid off-white looks infinitely better than speckled, but your opinion may differ.
I ended up pairing this with a Logitech M720 Triathlon mouse, and didn't break the bank. Thanks Logitech!

I wanted a small bluetooth keyboard with a number pad (can't go back to not having it now). The function keys are perfect and all useful. The keys have good key travel that will make mechanical fans content and the average typer happy. The spacing is the most important to me, because the layout is what I'm used to. I tried other bluetooth keyboards, but they all made me reach for certain keys that I should be able to reach easily. This is also bluetooth wireless, no need for a USB receiver. There are so many of those out there cluttering my search for a truly bluetooth keyboard. This is the one to go for. The phone stand works well for thinner products. It can hold my iPhone 12 mini, but only barely with a semithin case on. My taller note 9 with a only slightly thicker case is too thick and top heavy I guess. It is good as long as you have realistic expectations for it. I don't really use it, but I don't care, because everything else about it is so good. I would buy this over and over again if I had to. Go to recommendation for anyone.
The battery also lasts very long. I do my best to conserve the battery as long as I can so I flip the switch to off, which is easy to do. Turning it one is so seemless, because it connects to my laptop almost right away.

This is actually the third time I purchased this keyboard. It works great, has amazing battery life and feels really good to type on for such a low profile keyboard. The keys have an almost tactile feel to them.
That said.. The durability could be better. Like I mentioned, this is my third one in about 5 years due to spilled drinks. It would be perfect if they could seal the keys to where no liquid would damage the keyboard. Honestly, not much liquid got on it, it's just very vulnerable to shorting out.
