Pros:
- high quality sound, which is always subjective, but anyway it can configured in their mobile apps' equalizer
- they really last long
- charging is rapid
- can be easily connected to Windows 10
- have memory for multiple devices
- foam ear tips are really convenient. With them and the proper fin size, the headphones sit perfectly, though for me only in under-the-ear mode.
Cons:
- over-the-ear method didn't work for me, so I can use them only under the ear
- foam ear tips have quickly fell apart, so I had to buy a new set of no-name foam tips from Amazon. That set has 3 medium size pairs. They fit perfectly when used with original fins.
- none of silicon ear tips sizes fit for me
- cannot be paired with Ubuntu 18.10
- when paired with Android phones, sometimes they pair only after the 2nd attempt.

I purchased the Jaybird X3 sport earbuds to replace a pair of Beats earbuds. I couldn't have made a better choice! The sound quality is top notched, and the price is very affordable. Add the protection plan, and it's an unbeatable value! My Jaybird X3s can most likely be found draped around my neck, and they go wherever I go. Rarely am I seen without them.

After trying on different ear tip sizes and ear fin sizes, I got a perfect fit that stayed in place during vigorous workouts and were comfortable. They sounded extremely good out of the box and I was to use the app to tweek them to my own liking. I was also able to hear clearly on a phone call, income SIRI, and I’ve gotten almost 8 hours on my first charge.

These earbuds are awesome! They have a good battery life and are very comfortable to wear. My workouts usually last about an hour and a half to two hours five times a week. I'm usually able to get away with all five workouts with one charge but every once in a while i'll have to charge them before the fifth workout. If i do need a quick charge i'll plug them in for 10 - 15 minutes and i'll get about 40%. A cool feature that i really like is that when you turn them on a voice will tell you how much battery life they have. They come with different size wings and tips so you are able to have a good fit. The sound quality is really good and the app lets you adjust the levels to find a sound that you like. At first i wasn't sure about them but after using them for about a month i'm upset i didn't buy them earlier.

These headphones are true to their description. The sound quality is excellent. They pick up minor background noises. They fit comfortable around my ears and I appreciate not having anything bulky resting on my neck. Be sure to use the shirt clip that is provided, they will fall off. I lost my first pair recently. That won’t happen again!

Purchased these after a fairly extensive review of their updated features. Previously, I owned the x2's and enjoyed the sense of freedom of cutting the cord, but unfortunately they weren't too comfortable, even with the various sets of earbuds. Fast forward to the x3. Fitment wise, I was able to achieve a good comfort level with these, limiting outside noise and staying put during runs, agility workouts and even some HIIT sessions. Sound wise, the improvements they've made have hands down made these earbuds awesome for all genres of music. I myself have found EDM being my go to, and the clarity and bass are excellent. Battery life is compatible to the x2, but upon startup provides a voice notification of the battery life. Charging the x3 is unlike the micro USB from the x2 as it uses a small charging connector that attaches to the control pod on the earbuds. Lose that little guy and you'll be looking for a replacement. Now here is my biggest issue - Range/connectivity. With the x2, I was able to achieve a range of 65-70 ft before songs would begin to become choppy and the connection would drop. With the x3, no more than 30 ft before songs begin to become choppy and signal is dropped. As for the connectivity issues, occasionally the connection becomes erratic, and songs will become choppy, even within feet of my phone. Honestly, this was an issue I had with the x2 as well, but it wasn't as prevalent as now. As a solution, I've found positioning my phone a little higher off the ground usually fixes the issue. Finally, the Jay bird app as great as it is, is still a work in progress. For myself, if I do not connect to the x3 with my device prior to opening the app, I will repeatedly receive "headphones connected" notification. The only fix I've found is disconnecting the earbuds from my device, closing the app, reconnecting to the earbuds, and then opening the app. Because of this, I stay away from the app.
All-in-all, the x3 is a definite improvement from the x2 in regards to sound and comfort, but it's lack in range may interfere with workouts that involve some movement away from your source of music.

Got them as replacements from the first pair that my cat chewed in two. Good battery life. Sound is pretty good but you need the Jaybird app to make them sound their best. Caught them on sale so they were 40.00 cheaper than the normal price. If you are looking for good solid earbuds, get these. Once you find the right combo of the ear pieces, they stay in really well and are comfortable. Just buy them already and quit procrastinating!

These are by far the best I've ever experienced for daily / sports-type earbuds. I've tried a wide variety and was worried about the silicon ear piece and the fins, but after a small learning curve, I discovered how to properly and thoroughly enjoy them. Having the app is a must. The product itself is extremely minimal and robust at the same time (thank good UI/UX for that).
I'm able to tune my sound quickly by picking my favorite presets (or setting my own prior to starting) and I can enjoy my music quickly thanks to these.
The range is INCREDIBLE and the microphone is more than decent for a bluetooth-type microphone.
The charging is great. Super minimal and I love it for that reason. May be a bit of a problem if you lose it, so there's that.
The fins and ear pieces are a little painful after 6 hours. My longest session with the earbuds and fins on was 6 hours. Exercising with them is really good too. You don't hear much else than your music and breath.
In short, this thin is well worth the price you pay for them!

i heard and saw great reviews for these headphones. what is super cool is how you can truly control the quality of the sound via the jaybird app. i always get people asking me where are those headphones from?! A downside is the right side of the headphones will be heavier since it has the volume and power controls on that side. the earbuds took me a while to figure out what is the right fit for me but through trial and error i was able to figure out what earbuds were right for me. these are great headphones. they are not bulky and are super subtle. battery life is pretty great it truly does last for the almost full 8hrs. great buy if you're considering it. money well spent.

* Sound quality is high
* Fit is very customizable
* Comfortable for long periods
* Decent battery life
Sounds amazing with podcasts or music. The fit options for the flanges and buds (squishy or foam, your choice) are amazing. I was able to get it setup for my ear, it doesn't fall out and unlike other headphones I have tried it lets in some street sounds so you don't get run over while working out in the outdoors. The sweat proof special charger is a pain - it is super easy to lose, but additional chargers and ear foams are available for $9.99 directly from Jaybird. Or just tell them you lost it and one time only they will send you a free replacement.

I’ve had every model of around the neck Bluetooth headphones from lg and Motorola. These exceed all of those in comfort and sound quality by a great amount. Was hesitant to try a new brand. But the app that comes with it and the ease of use made me want to buy other models from Jaybird as well.

Sounds great and bluetooth connection works perfectly. Volume seems to be a bit less than wired earphones although you can easily increase the volume on your phone to compensate. Bass quality and high treble sounds are perfect. Great to be without the hassle of wires to your phone!

I've owned every pair of Jaybirds beginning with the BlueBuds X. The Jaybird X3 is definitely the best bluetooth headphone I have ever used. I use my bluetooth headphones on my train commute to work, at the gym, and snowboarding. I just don't understand why people want to wear wired headphones that are constantly snagging, pulling, yanking your phone off treadmills, etc. Plus, most phone manufacturers are doing away with headphone jacks anyway, so cut the cord! I don't have any problems with audio stutter (as long as the headphones are in my right pants or jacket pocket), they sound amazing (love being able to adjust the EQ in the app) and the new earfins fit my ears perfectly (I'm thinking about buying a backup pair because every pair of Jaybirds I've owned before I lost a fin or bud and the small and mediums fall out of my ears) The battery lasts 8 hours easily, I actually get a little more than 8. Last weekend we drove to Winter Park to Christmas tree hunt and I wore my X3's the entire time to see how long the battery would last. I wore them from 9:00am until 4:30pm playing music non-stop (even when I wasn't listening I let them play to see how long the battery would last) and they still had 20% left when we got back. If I had one small complaint it would be the little battery charger clip, I'm afraid I'm going to lose it. I still have my Bluebuds case so I keep the headphones in the case and the extra earfins, buds, and charger clip in the little leather pouch that came with the X3's. I wish the X3's came with the case the X2's came with, that one is the best. I'm the type of person that when I find something I like like shoes or something I buy a backup so when the original wears out I have another one in my closet. At $99 (Black Friday sale price) I'm tempted to buy another pair of X3's for the day this pair wears out. They are really that good. One note, they REALLY cancel outside noise so if I'm doing something where I need to be aware of my surroundings (like snowboarding), I only wear the right one in my ear and let the left just hang on my shoulder.

Love these new headphones (bought the green ones since they were on sale)! They have good sound quality, good battery life, and good buttons to use. They fit well and stay in the ear, but take a little time to break into. Glad I purchased these headphones!

Bought these for the gym. The fit is great with included Comply ear tips. A little on the bulky side but not bad. They protrude from the ear so don’t put your head against anything solid unless you want some “just the tip” action with the eardrum.
The sound is awesome. The Jaybird app lets you EQ the earbuds to get a signature sound profile just right for you. I was very impressed at what I was able to dial in. I was able to get amazingly good noise isolation once fitted properly. Good enough to drown out the moaners and grunters at the gym. Overall the sound is good but nothing close to the definition you would expect from over the ear cans or high end ear bud.
Upon powering on, the earbuds tell you the amount of battery remaining a huge plus when you’re counting on the earbuds providing the tunes during a session of gains.
The only issue I have with these buds is that when you double tap the power switch it doesn’t skip to the next song on a consistent basis. I’d give these a solid 5 stars if it wasn’t for this issue.
The provided storage bag is flimsy and will not provide any tangible protection. If you throw them in a gym bag with shoes and other stuff, prepare to buy another pair.
If you are on the fence, buy them. You will not be disappointed.

Sound
The sound on these is great - when you get a solid fit and seal of the earbud into your ear canal. As with probably any in-ear earbuds, the sound is only as good as the fit. The lows, mids, and highs are all loud, clear, crisp, and distinct. I found that maximum volume capped out a bit lower than I had expected, but that's probably a good thing for my hearing.
Fit
The fit is pretty good. These are better than many other bluetooth earbuds that protrude far out from your ear, which can often cause interference with hats, hoods, pillows, etc. Unfortunately, I tried to swap the silicone earbud tips with the soft foam ones to see if they fit better, and one of the foam tips ripped immediately. It would have been nice if they included backup foam tips for each size, considering how easy they are to tear.
Design
These are stylish, minimalist, and sharp. I like the look better than the similarly spec'd Bose and Beats earbuds. However, the method for cinching up the "extra cord" behind your neck or under your chin is pretty cumbersome, and Beats did a much better job with their "extra cord cinching" design.
To be honest, I find myself going back to my wired earbuds when listening in a stationary place like at work or on a plane. However, these Jaybird bluetooth earbuds are great for the gym, going for a run, or just being out and about where you don't want to deal with a cord.

I bought these to replace a pair of JayBird BlueBuds X. I was immediately impressed by how much improvement there was in ease of pairing and audio quality. The six different pairs of tips (3pr regular, 3pr Comply foam) make it much more likely that you'll find a fit that is comfortable for you.
The controls are easy to reach in the over-ear configuration and, since the operation is essentially the same as my previous BlueBuds, it took no time to learn how to use them to control music while running. I really preferred this control to the one on the Bose Soundsport Wireless, which felt sort of sloppy and was more difficult to use while on the move. Also note that the X3's give about 25% more battery life (although I think the charging adapter is pretty inconvenient).
So, that trade-off - what exactly is the deal? For me it came down to this: as improved as the audio quality is on the X3's over the original BlueBuds, the Soundsports still sound better overall. How much? Well, to be honest not by much - I prefer a bit less bass with more emphasis on voice, and the X3's seem to emphasize the bass just a little too much for my taste. With the accompanying app I could probably spend some time and create an EQ profile that would fix that.
I also found the Soundsports a little more comfortable. Despite being physically larger, so much so that it looked like Frankenstein bolts protruding from the ears, they still felt lighter and "disappeared" more once I put them in. They don't completely seal out ambient noise so there was less pressure in the ear as well. Unfortunately they don't support the over-ear configuration and for me that's what tipped the scales in favor of the X3's. I got used to not having cords stick to the back of my neck with the original BlueBuds, even with the clip on the Soundsports, there was still that tugging at times when wearing them.
So basically with the Bose I had better audio and more comfort in the ear, but less battery and what is for me an inferior configuration with the lack of over ear ability. The X3's had a better overall configuration when used over-ear, and that's the primary consideration for me. The sound quality difference will take some work with the app to resolve, but it's not like it sucks to begin with so I'm not concerned.

This is my second pair of wireless jaybirds (I lost my last pair on vacation). This X3 is even better , I wear them for running , weight training and they stay in my ears with no pebbles. Sound quality is awesome. The charger for it is a bit different, so you have to make sure your attaching it correctly. I haven't really tested the length a charge will hold, (10, 6 hrs etc.), but I will say that when at the gym recently , charge was down to less than 10% and I worked out for another 30mins and no issues .
