One of the best speakers I ever had I will recommend it,

This softball sized roundish speaker came in a simple package with no instructions except for a diagram on the back of the inside of the box. The beauty is that this was all that was needed. On the top of the speaker - one button for Bluetooth pairing (my phone found it easily), and one button for power. On the front a cross (so cool), with the plus to increase volume and the minus to decrease volume. It comes with a USB cord for charging. I listened to iHeart radio from my phone through the wireless Wonderboom - and was impressed by the sound quality. The volume is plenty for what I will ever need, inside or out. Plus, being waterproof, drop proof and having a long lasting battery (haven't quite tested the limit yet)... this is a perfect speaker for bringing with anywhere or putting outside during gardening or barbecuing!

Let me start off with: boom! The packing is fantastic, the aesthetics of the speaker are great and the gray matches the new color scheme of my bathroom (the yellow, not so much). I plugged it in, turned it on and it was a loudish power on sound. Zero issues pairing to an older Nexus5; the pairing sound was loudish as well. Playing some Roots Reggae tunes showed off the bass of this little speaker and it's nice -- very full. I've been using another waterproof speaker for a few years now and that doesn't compare; it's been demoted to my outdoor grilling speaker. I must say, that the highs of the speaker appear to be related to the quality (aka 64k vs 320), because it wasn't so good with some songs & pretty good with others. The volume up/down on the UE triggers the music device volume up/down. Given the loudish comments above, I'd say that this device is tuned for bigger areas, as the lowest music volume is nowhere close to muted -- so, I brought it outside while I was grilling. The sound was still great, however, at the loudest, the sound was somewhat distorted. When I hung it from the ‘loop’ under my canopy, the 360-degree sound really stood out -- even my guests were shocked. It says that you can connect two of these things and I'm tempted to grab another to see what they can do!

Obviously, this speaker won't have bass that you'll feel in your chest, but seriously, the sound is pretty darn impressive for its small size. It's the perfect size to tote with you to the beach or pool. Will definitely be loud enough for everyone to hear within some distance. The Bluetooth range is pretty impressive as well. Also, I did test its waterproof ability, as I had it on the shower floor as I showered, and the music played uninterrupted. Looking forward to bringing this to the beach this summer.

So I won't lie it took me a while to really decide on this product. My brother has the original UE Boom so I don't doubt the abilities or standard of UE products. But when considering what I wanted I needed something a little smaller and portable, loud, and humidity proof. I always play podcasts, audio books, and music when I'm showering, washing dishes, and other chores so I needed something I could hear over running water and stand my hot showers. This definitely made that cut. It's sound is so clear even if it isn't at the highest volume. It's short and round so it's easy to carry or throw into a bag. It even has a little hook if I wanted to clip it to my backpack. The charge lasts for days and it will auto shut off which is great because I tend to forget to turn it off. Does have a little weight to it but I don't carry it around in my hands so that doesn't bother me. They sell geek squad protection which is great because in the past for speakers I've bought it covers sound loss and Bluetooth connectivity. It's a great piece of mind for me. I haven't had problems yet and neither has my brother (he's had his ue boom for years now) but it is great to have that just in case. Especially because this speaker is a shiny penny.

Bought 2 of these speakers for my household. They were definitely worth it. The music has great clarity even when turned up to the max. We tested other Bluetooth speakers that were on display and this one was by far the best. No distortion and loud. Bonus is that you can Bluetooth two of them together and have even louder music for a party or event. On top of that the speaker is water-proof, like it literally can float in the pool. So no worries about little ones splashing or dropping in the toilet. Great battery life. Reasonably priced when compared to other similar products.

These produce clear and surprisingly loud music. Decent bass but not great.(I also have Megaboom 3 which produces much stronger bass.) They are very water resistant, so great for pool and hot tub. Drop them under water, music stops but then they float and music plays again. Best feature for me. I have 2 and love the pairing feature so you can double the sound. Battery life is very long and charges fast. My only negative is that it can only pair a max of 2 speakers. The ultimate ears app for IPhone does NOT work with the wonderboom speakers. The Megaboom series can add up to like 150 speakers I believe. I bought 4 of those and the sound is really great for spacial outdoor listening.

The sound from this little guy is amazing. I was expecting good quality sound. I was surprised, though, at how much you notice the lower tones and bass from this thing. It has a full sound and is multidirectional, so you get good coverage wherever you are standing in relation to the speaker. It also gets quite loud, so if you enjoy that, you won't miss anything here. It feels robust and durable. The charging cable that comes with it is flat, so it folds really nice and small for travel without tangling. All of the buttons are tactile, but also low profile, which is excellent. Overall, I am 100% happy with this purchase. You really cannot go wrong buying this. Bonuses - it is waterproof, floats in water, and can be paired with another Wonderboom for even bigger sound at parties without the need for any app or phone software.

Packing- Not much inside the box. Just the speaker, the USB cord, and a safety compliance small brochure. I think this should include instructions of the features and a plug for the wall because a USB port is not always available. Appearance- I don't mind the look because there is great sound coming out the compact speaker. The + sign over the - sign looks like a cross. It's something that I noticed but I hope it don't bother most people. I really like the rubber feel and the stretchy cord to hang it. Performance- Like I mentioned it sounds great to me and loud if you want. If you sync 2 wonderboom together I think this will sound even better. I played a great amount of music but I cannot tell where my battery level is. Having a battery indicator will be helpful so I can know to charge before it runs out. The waterproofing so far is working great. Now I can have the speaker in the shower instead of having it outside. Cons- I cannot answer calls on this and the music do not resume playing after missing a phone call. I tried several times and I can't get it to work like my other speaker. No wall plug come with it for wall outlets. I do like this Bluetooth speaker but I think it's priced a little high but if people give it a try they will most likely enjoy it. This is just a waterproof speaker with no added features that I can use.

The little WONDERBOOM puts out a pretty good amount of sound for a speaker the size of coffee mug. I'm sure audio snobs will have a problem with the amount of bass or treble, but it sounds quite good for a speaker of this size, and you can hear that sound clearly across the length of the house. The carrying loop is a nice touch, since this is a portable speaker (though it is NOT pocket-sized) and the fabric-covered frame is a tad slick. The volume-control buttons are the + and - symbols on the front, and you have to hit them pretty much directly in the center for activation. I also worry about the durability of the cover for the charging port, though this seems to be of a better design than most rubber port covers. There is also no speakerphone capability, at least not on this version. I haven't had a chance to (nor do I hope to) test water-resistance, nor drop-resistance, though apparently if floats, and the WONDERBOOM seems to be sturdier than other speakers I have tried, and according to a review from a prominent electronics website, if the fabric gets dirty, you can rinse the cover, and it should survive a five-foot drop. Did I mention, this thing is loud? It is loud enough, that while writing this review, I had to drop the volume down a good deal, as the output was painful to the ear from such a close distance. This little fella will make itself known in a big room, though I don't know if it can overpower 15-20 people in vigorous conversation. I plan to buy another to put in another corner of the living room, since these speakers apparently can pair, though without stereo effect. If you are simply looking for a loud little speaker, which really sounds pretty good, you have to give the WONDERBOOM a try. It may not have BOSE sound quality, nor the ability to pair for stereo sound, but for the price of ONE of the cheapest BOSE speakers, you can buy TWO of these. Compare them side by side (the Best Buy folks will be happy to help--take THAT Amazon), and then, make your choice. For the size, and price, and potentially 9 hours of play time, I don't think you can beat the WONDERBOOM. P.S. There is a newer model than the one I reviewed. It could perform longer and better, and pair for stereo--I don't know. I suggest you ask if those are qualities which are deal breakers.

I had the UE Mini Boom for 4 years and absolutely loved it. So when it was stolen I knew I should look for more from UE. I was surprised to see they had introduced waterproof, dustproof, and the ability to float to their current product line. I considered the Roll 2 and Boom 2 also, as well as some other models by JBL, Sony, etc. But UE still wins, and this model in particular for the great balance in its sound, form factor, dustproof rating, and damned cuteness!

Wowowow. So glad I made this purchase. Tested this little guy out on a camping trip this past weekend and it blew us all away. Its small, light weight, and with the bright blue color I picked, super easy to find when you're rummaging around in your tent. The sound on this thing is really impressive. Really clear sound and nice bass for something so little. Plus it can get REALLY loud. We have a Google Home and Google Home mini at home and the UE Wonderboom has way better sound then the Mini. Plus, portability is a no brainer. Love that it has the loop on top to attach to a backpack.

This speaker is amazing for its size! The lows and highs are reproduced amazingly for such a compact design. I bought this to replace an Altec Lansing Mini Jambox, and was surprised. It’s much louder, clearer, and deeper across the EQ. The range of Bluetooth and battery life only compliment the awesomeness of this speaker! Also, the water resistance of this speaker is on par; we use this nightly as bathroom entertainment for my toddler...it’s been dropped in the tub on several occasions and works flawlessly while submersed and while drying.

Bought this to replace a Oontz 3 I bought on Amazon a while ago because it started crackling even at low volume. Saw this on sale for the same price I bought the Oontz for ($40) so I decided to purchase it. My initial impression was very positive. It sounds nice and crisp, the bass is clear and isn't muddy whatsoever. This little speaker is very balanced in my option. Overall, it is portable, water resistant, very well built and a single charge lasts quite some time. Still haven't charged it again.

So this thing is awesome for a little speaker.Used it for couple times until the battery die and when I tried to charged it wont charge. I know it's not the charger which is the USB that comes with it and it charge fine on my phone.But this thing wont charge at all!! This is disappointing.Dont waste your money!

Considering the size and price, this is an awesome product. The sound quality was suprisingly good, much better then one would expect. It is also loud enough for my purposes. As for connectivity I have never experienced any issues between the paired devices even when I move far away in my relatively large yard. An added bonus is the battery seems to last quite a while. If you want something portable and sturdy but don't need it to make the walls rattle then you definitely cant go wrong with this product.

I still use this almost daily, 4 years later. Great battery life and sound. The lack of track controls is the only con I can think of.

Basically as I said- excitedly opened my gift to see that both the WONDERBOOMS I bought came with tops scratched up... really not cool.

This little cutie was purchased as a gift for a teen, who previously had a Bose that had stopped working suddenly (probably taken into the shower too often). It was tempting to get a larger speaker, but this one is a really great size! It has awesome sound quality and is plenty loud enough for a dorm room or party on the patio. It's small enough to sit anywhere or put in a backpack. The loop is great for hanging up in the shower (Yay, it's waterproof!). The Bluetooth connects easily to a phone for playing your favorite playlist and the speaker can also connect to another one if you had two (we don't, so we have not tried that feature). This speaker was definatly a good value. I didn't need to spend more or go larger to get a loud great sounding speaker. I would definatly buy it again!
