I picked this up for under $40, which I consider my upper limit for a small, very portable speaker. I already own several similar speakers from different manufacturers, but I like to leave them in a set place for when I want them rather than tote them around, so I always seem to have a need for another. That said this speaker has exceeded my expectations in sound quality and sheer volume. As a test I placed this speaker in a very large, empty ballroom, connected it to my phone and proceeded to push the volume up to MAX. I was stunned at the clarity at the way such a small device filled the space. The only Bluetooth speaker I have personally seen beat this little guy out was a one of the very large JBL units costing several hundred dollars. I literally can't imagine any situation where this speaker wouldn't have the volume (I don't host dance parties) or the clarity I would want. This speaker has ample bass for my taste, but your mileage may vary. I haven't run the battery out in use yet (I usually recharge regularly so I don't lose my tunes mid stream) but come summer I will probably have this speaker on a lot in the backyard so that will be a better test. I can see picking up 1 or two more of these to replace a few of my older speakers. I know the Wonderboom 2 is out but this does everything I need at a much lower (current) cost.

Water resistant, drop resistant (both have modest limits), can be paired with a second Wonderboom, good battery duration (a day at the beach), easy to use, fits in backpack (and even outside can hang from a carabiner and play music), and is relatively inexpensive for all this. Decent highs, good midrange, a little more base than expected. Buy! You’ll be the hero of the beach party or picnic.

I was just looking for a small portable speaker to take with me or to play outside during a cookout or family gathering. This little speaker works great. For such a small thing it puts out a pretty good sound. I mean it's not perfect and on some songs the sounds gets distorted at very high volumes but I think that's common with all small speakers. This sucker does pack a punch though. Bluetooth connectivity is easy and flawless. And the range goes for about 20 to 30 feet. I haven't actually gone the distance from this device to measure. The device is splash proof, I had this outside in the rain and it still works well. I haven't fully submerged in water yet but I don't plan on trying. All in all, I say it's a good speaker, I just wish it had an 3.5 mm plug in. The only plug in is the charging cable. Which itself is a little short. The full charge lasts about 9 hours, I used it for about 3 hours straight, three days in a row and it finally loss power on the third day. Charging took about a common sleep night and was ready the next day. When placed on a hard surface the speaker does push a bit harder in sound. As opposed to hanging in the open. The loop does hold the speaker and is pretty rugged but you don't get any clip with it. I'm pretty happy with it and I enjoy it. If you purchase another one you can connect both for more sound but they do not spectate channels. Like one for left and one for right. They do sync well. In closing, I recommend this speaker for small rooms and shower singing and even grilling outside.

I bought this speaker to replace the INCREDIBLY anemic Braven unit I previously used for listening to music while on job sites...I am VERY pleased that I did! It has good range, better than average volume & decent bass. Battery life is good, too: it ran all day at @ 70% volume while I was working in our warehouse last week and still had life left. I can’t speak to its water resistance, but I can say that it seems to be durable: it resides in my work backpack that gets slammed around a lot and has been dropped (oops!) twice from around 4feet—-once onto a concrete slab—-with no apparent effect on function and zero visible damage. One thing that I DON’T like about this unit is its inability to function as a speaker phone. I often receive calls from clients/colleagues while listening in the field, and this would be a great feature to have (the ONLY pro the Braven has over this unit). Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it to anyone who wants a relatively cheap, durable and weather-proof speaker for field use.

I have owned several low to mid price ($10-100) Bluetooth speakers and headphones from a few different brands. JBL & Skullcandy have always been the two brands I kept coming back to. I had already been curious cannot Ultimate Ears but hadn't purchased or even heard one. Even though I had already purchased a JBL Clip 3 for my son's Christmas present I decided I was going to buy another Bluetooth speaker for myself. My initial instinct was to purchase another Clip 3. After discussing JBL VS Ultimate Ears with a friend & upon hearing that on Clip 3s you can not pair them together like you could on Clip 2s I decided to get the Wonderboom. I was blown away. The speaker sounds incredible & the bass sounds awesome. It's easy to pair. The volume level is sufficient. It's a good looking speaker although I'm personally not a fan of the giant volume keys but that's just personal taste. You CAN pair 2 or more together. Side by side I think the Wonderboom is the better speaker. I'm not disappointed I bought 1 of each simply because the JBL was a personalized one. If you're debating on getting a Wonderboom, DO IT! You won't be disappointed.

I wasn't expecting much with this speaker, but this little thing has really been impressive so far. Pros: Shockingly rich sound, no distortion even at max volume, highs and mids sound quality is excellent, battery life is good, easy to use, easy to transport, bluetooth range is good, pairing is as simple as it gets, overall an excellent choice- possibly the best choice- in its category. Cons: volume level could go a bit higher, but I suspect that if it did, distortion would be an issue, shape/design is somewhat awkward, bass is practically nonexistent (but I'm sure you already knew that; no one buys speakers like these for their thumping bass), charging cord is very short- like 12 inches, maybe- and can be difficult to connect to the speaker's charging port b/c the port is kind of recessed in its location, which is on the bottom of the back side of the device. Overall: definitely worth the money and would recommend to anyone looking for portability and convenience without sacrificing too much sound quality.

This little speaker is quite impressive in the sound department. It offers a good 360 field of sound. The mid and highs are clear and strong. The low bass is impressive given that it’s not a subwoofer. Battery life is also great in comparison to other similar devices. The biggest selling feature is the almost bullet proof performance. It floats in water, it’s water and mud proof, and it does well when dropped. This I deal for the traveler parties. For additional sound pair up 3+ units to have a yard full of music.

The family and I were looking for a waterproof speaker that we could place near our above ground pool. We used to have another brand of speaker that we used and we accidentally left it outside one weekend during heavy rainfall. My office mate at work brought his in one day to play some music and I asked him about it. He loved the sound quality and said it was really loud. He took it outside and turned it up full volume and this is where I knew this was the speaker for my family and I. Having purchased this right at the beginning of the summer, my family and I love the sound. We’re not audiophiles or anything, but even at a low volume, it’s loud enough to hear on our deck about 30 ft away. We haven’t tested the waterproof feature yet, by throwing it into the pool, but the splashes of water it endured throughout the summer still had this little speaker keep on rocking. I would recommend this to someone looking for nice portable speaker with a great sound.

This is am amazing little speaker. Great sound for the size and price. Very portable. Good battery life. Easy to pair. Being able to sync with another Wonderboom is a great option for stereo sound that I'm surprised is included for this price.

I was a little skeptical about this tiny bluetooth speaker. It was so small that when Porch Pirate stole my pressure cooker, they missed it. (thank you Best Buy for the fast refund). I charged it overnight and set it up to listen to my Nano while doing dishes which was very easy and quick. When I started a song, the sound was shockingly perfect! Bass was great (of course, not floor shaking but extending to lower range nicely) and mid and high notes brilliant. It is really loud for the size! The volume controls are nicely marked but a little squishy to use; use your device volume control and you will be fine. For a device the size of a soda can it is brilliant and the price was right (Black Friday for $40). Do get one or two of these wonderful little speakers but be kind to neighbors and don't blast them in crowded spaces!

Of all the speakers I had used & heard in this price range & even little higher I still choose this. It’s water proof if port is closed & floats. Sound is good & actually has some bass which most speakers lack & is why I bought this after buying one for my daughter & hearing it I had to get one for me. Only better speakers I heard was in the $150-200 range. I just wish battery had few more hrs at max or close to max volume. Outside it needs to be played louder with surrounding noise but u can plug it in & use if near power. but in a house with walls for sound to bounce off of it’s great. We have people over sometime on weekends & every1 is surprised how good it sounds & that it actually has some bass to it. Can u find a speaker that is clearer sure but not one that has good clarity and bass for under $100. I actually paid round $60 for the black & white color so I’m more then happy also Ived had this for over a yr now & would buy again & recommend this to anyone looking for a affordable durable speaker for kids or adults. If I had few wants... slightly bigger speaker that can make little more deeper bass then it can now & few hrs longer of battery & that the price stayed Under $70 instead of the $99 I see it in some colors but they are on sale often it seems in certain colors. But the real value is under that $70 price tag also u can buy several & pair them together which is a cool feature

Bought this to replace an older speaker that I use at the beach and i'm very happy that I bought this one. It has 360 sound, great bass to it and the battery lasted all day. Bonus that it's waterproof and on the smaller size so it's easy to take everywhere.

I could not say enought good things about this speaker! As a college student I'm constantly playing music and needed something light and durable that I could throw in my backpack and take around with me - and this thing fits the bill perfectly. It's sat in sand volleyball pits, grass, gotten rained on, and been out in 100+ degree weather in the direct sun. And guess what? After at least a year and a half of use it still works and looks good as new. The sound quality is great and the base isn't too heavy or too light. It's loud enough top drown out my annoying neighbors and to use at parties as the sole source of music. HIGHLY recommended! I bought my mom one last christmas and she couldn't be happier with her's also.

Love this little speaker. Nice sound quality. I use a carabiner clip and I hang this speaker just about anywhere. Awesome for camping, fishing, in my garage. I don't play my music super super loud but It has plenty of volume to satisfy my needs. There are larger models for high volume enthusiasts. Plus it's waterproof and it floats. Price value comps with other name brands. Oh and I love the large volume buttons, easy to find in a pinch.

This little thing is ridiculously good! The sound is very clear, and it packs a huge punch in such a little package. The speaker is very durable, which is why I purchased it due to my daughter's new found love of throwing things. I haven't really tested it's water proof capabilities, but I trust that it will work as advertised. This is a great buy, gift, and well worth the price.

UE pays attention to what music sounds like. I have two of these paired together(mono only) in my man cave (shower). The sound is detailed and clear. The bass is as get as your going to get in this softball size speaker. No artificial sweeteners here such as extra bass or light show. Waterproof and small enough to throw in a bag if your going out.Highly recommended.

By far the best sounding mini bluetooth speaker. We bought this for a trip out of the country and it really stood up to the task. We completely submerged it a few times without issue and the full sound was crisp and loud enough to play outdoors at the beach and at the pool. This little gem has "almost" made my backyard pool/patio wired speaker system obsolete!

I fell in love with the Wonderboom when I heard my friend's. This was a great deal for the 2 pack and I couldn't resist. I keep one upstairs in my house and one downstairs. The sound from this little speaker is excellent. The fact that it's waterproof gives me peace of mind. I've never submerged it but have definitely splashed water on it, No problems. Such a great purchase.
