I am enjoying this purchase. It was totally worth it. It is amazing how much cat hair it has picked up. I live in an apartment and I don't even have a cat. The professional carpet cleaners didn't pick up nearly as much as the Roomba. I have to empty the cartridge about every third day now. The only reason I give 4 stars is because it sometimes doesn't make it back to the charging station and I have to do it manually. Also, the home button on the vacuum usually won't work. It just blinks and keeps vacuuming away. I would highly recommend this vaccum for the price.

I love this thing. We named it uncle Charlie from the tv series my three sons. Showing my age here. I have a 2600 sq ft home with hardwood and tile with a few are rugs. There are a few places where he get hung up so when they are available I plan to get a few more virtual walls. I run this thing every day multiple times per day. I have to empty the bin at least twice a day. That is how much uncle Charlie picks up. I have been using for about 4 weeks and I love it. Nothing against my traditional vacuum but honestly I only vacuumed about twice a month and used the swifter a few times in between. I was not cleaning out my house near as good as this little guy does. Since I have started using this I notice dust is so much less on surfaces, I guess I had more dust on the floors getting stirred up than I knew. I think I may need to buy the mop version next.

We had been wanting one for awhile and this Christmas I bought one for our "Family" gift. I had read plenty of reviews and all the good ones said to "give it a week". They were so right. The first week it was a lot of hunting to find it stuck somewhere or it drained the battery trying to get out of a room and a number of other things and it never once made it back to it's home. Seven days later it started to end up at it's home and has made it there the last ten times straight. At first you had to empty the trash three or four times a cleaning, if you were around. Now it is down to once or at the end. The house is definitely cleaner and you can feel it. I think it has a lot to do with all of the under the furniture cleaning it does. Also, I am the owner of two Corgis and they she'd like crazy. Highly highly recommend this unit.

I've had this robot since April of 2018 and now, Nov 2018 I have to say that this iRobot does a great job cleaning, but I have a large open floor plan and I find myself having to place obstacles every other day to make sure it cleans specific areas the way it should. It comes with an invisible wall blocker and it is useful, but buying more of those would be 80-90 a pop a d even then it can get clumsy on what area you want to setup. If you have a space less than 1000 sq ft and it is pretty square/rentangular, go for it, otherwise, spend the extra cash on the new i7 models that can map your home.

It cleans the floors/carpet welll. Easy to use app. A little noisy and will get caught under furniture if it is too low. Had to purchase more of the devices to avoid areas where it gets caught up. Great price and recommend this product.

Maintenance is easy. The AI is pretty good but sometimes it does get lost and doesn’t return. It cleans very well especially with all of our cat hair. We use it on hard wood and carpet and it works well there too. It can get stuck sometimes especially when changing from carpet areas to hardwood or vise versa. Overall we’re pleased but it still needs a little tweaking to be a perfect 5 star.

Game changer product. Works amazing. Makes cleaning very convenient. Only downside are parts- the dust bin broke, we couldn’t find a new part anywhere. But contacted iRobot support and they send us a new new one. Tech support was very helpful.

I have had it for a week and run it every night. I have a dog that sheds like crazy and a rabbit that adds to the fluff. I have hardwood floors and loose low pile rugs. It fills it's bin every night with hair and dirt. Even after sweeping. Doesn't cover the whole house in one night because its bin gets full and then it docks but it gets more the next night after I empty it. It only gets stuck on my very small rag rug which is to be expected. The noise level is good. It really has made a difference and I feel like my house is cleaner in between good sweeps. Dog doesn't like it which is why I run it after we go to bed. It is a little noisy when it bumps into things but he seems fine with that as long as he is in bed.

We named our I-robot "Hazel" after our 15 year old dachshund who died 3 years ago. Like the dog, Hazel the I-robot, gets lost roaming around our house and struggles to find her home base. She does a good job of cleaning, but she does not map her surroundings. We find ourselves uttering the same Southern sympathy that we uttered for the 15 year old deaf and blind Hazel, "Bless her heart."

Debris bin too small. Takes too long to clean a room. Goes over same area repeatedly. Does not always return to charger as advertised. Gets stuck under furniture, Comes with one “tower” that guides it from running under furniture or around a certain area, but they should give you at least 2 for the price you pay for the unit. Limits the number of times you have to vacuum but does not replace your vacuum cleaner.

Researched a number of robo vacs and decided on the rumba 890. Best Buy price was very competitive so we made the plunge. Does a fantastic job on the carpets and tile floors. No issues with getting stuck anywhere. Would definitely purchase again.

I was surprised how much pet hair gets picked up by this little robot. It will clean for up to an hour only, and the trash tray does fill up pretty quickly. It does not map out your home and kind of just goes around haphazardly, but you will need to spend a lot more for mapping technology. Overall, I am pleased with the purchase.

Not a bad machine. It picks up a lot of dirt but the navigation system is a bit off. It bumps into a lot of things and doesn’t seem to remember the same path.

I was skeptic buying one of these because they cost a lot and don’t know how well they work. Got one over the holidays on sale at Best Buy after reading reviews that this 800 series is a better fit for my needs. I have two dogs at home and have dark wood floors and dusts seem to accumulate on a regular basis and can easily be seen given the dark color of the floor which was annoying for me to sweep every couple of days. Having this Roomba now makes cleaning the main area of the house a breeze. Just set the Roomba to clean every morning and empty he bin when I come home and can’t believe how much dust and pet hair it picks up every day. Definitely worth the price!

I have done my research like most of you, like reading the reviews and star ratings on various sites. I wanted a somewhat powerful robot vacuum, perform well on picking up pet's hair, and efficient. I have to say Roomba 890 has met all the requirements and it does to a clean job every time. It is also quite gentle on the furniture. I use it once a week and each time I would need to empty the bin after it finishes cleaning, easy task.

The Roomba is very simple and easy to use. It cleans a large area before running out of steam and going back to recharge. The cleaning is well done for such a small gadget. We tried it out once while we were home and found that you need to be out of the room as it is very, very random in its cleaning pattern. We also noticed that there is a lot of interference if you try to talk on your cellphone. Still it is a good product.

Bought this for my mom on mother's day and she loves it. Her and my pops have two dogs and dark floors so shedding dogs and their fur shows up all the time. While the product doesn't replace a vacuum or deep cleaning, it helps to greatly reduce the amount of normal vacuuming that is needed to be done. It can be a bit clumsy but setting up is simple and my mom loves the wifi with app to be able to control at work or away from home .

It is one of the cool product, and easy to maintain, automated, work in most conditions. only I don't understand is the pattern it moves Zig - Zag, difficult to predict, I think iRobot might have optimized this movement to best suit the conditions, I am not sure. However this works very well, no issues. I brought from Best buy with great price compared to Market. I recommend this product to families and of course for Bachelors, it is worth purchase at premium price due to automation.
