Fantastic TKL Tournament Edition

This is my first TKL mechanical keyboard that I have enjoyed as my primary gaming keyboard.
It has RGB backlit keys and the Romer-G backlit keys are fast and quiet. Which I was looking for, as I was coming from Corsair K70 Cherry Speed Switches which we’re fine but loud. The Romer-G Tactile mechanical switches are purpose-built for pro-grade performance, responsiveness and durability. The Romer-G Tactile variant in PRO is a perfect blend of fast, precise and quiet while still maintaining a discernible, tactile actuation feel.
PRO features a detachable cable and compact tenkeyless design. The smaller footprint and separate cable and compact design gives you table space for low-sens mouse movement and more flexibility to orient the keyboard at your desired angle. The Pro is strong, durability and reinforced by a super-strong steel backplate that also adds stability and rigidity during gameplay. It is simply a solid keyboard and without the 10 key I have even more room for mouse movement.
The Lightsync RGB allows you to have 16 million colors to add to the keys distinction from one another.
Im crazy about this board. It has already improve my gameplay, yet it is quiet and ultra-responsive makes your shots precise.
I compared it to the Razer Huntsman TE before I made my purchase. The Huntsman was a solid board but the keys were much louder than I anticipated from it having Razer’s new optic-mechanical switch, which uses light beam for a 1.0 ms actuation. But In the end I couldn’t break away from the Logitech Pro TKL Romer-G tactile keys and size. The price originally is $129.99, Best Buy had it for $79.99, as with my rewards I purchased the board for $40.00. Give it a try.

Amazing TKL keyboard

This keyboard uses the romer-G mechanical switches from logitech. After 2 weeks of use, I can say that they feel most similar to cherry MX brown switches. They are slightly quieter than the MX switches (both red and browns) and a little mushier too. But with the faster actuation, I feel much better playing FPS/MOBA games. They feel great with typing as well. Also, the logitech software provides RGB lighting customizations. I think it's the best combo with my G403!

Got it on sale for $80 as they came out with their blue switches for their new model. Totally live this keyboard. Logitech has great quality. Can customize RGB with their G Hub software. Feels sturdy no flex. Live that it has a detachable cable. All in all very solid keyboard.

Replaced a normal TKL keyboard and...

I needed to replace my normal TKL keyboard (that I had used to game) and got this keyboard. It's probably great but there are some things I'm not used to and I feel it's important to share that in a review.
1. There's a springy vibration or ping sound to keys when they bounce back from being pressed. It could be a matter of getting used to, or personal preference. This is a hefty keyboard, afterall.
2. This is a hefty keyboard and takes up a lot of vertical space. My previous keyboard was perhaps half the height, if that. My desk has a slide out keyboard table so I now have to really pull it out to use the keyboard.
My score is low simply to encourage you to consider: Do you really need this?
The product feels substantial and that's great. I've set up custom lighting on it. I haven't found it as easy to set up profiles on as its mouse cousin. (G903) Y'know, I should probably include a picture. (note I've purposefully used dimmer lights. The product can get much more bright)

I have had a few Razer Blackwidow TE with all their different switches. None of them can compete with the Logitech Pro! Razer Synapse finally pushed me over the edge. The Logitech Pro was the only other TKL I could find that also had the removable USB cable which is great for LAN parties. The Logitech Pro is in a whole another league compared to Razer. Better switches, smaller, sleeker design, WAY better software, and more customizable. Highly recommend Logitech over any Razer trash.

The keys are great, clicking sounds good, very responsive, and the small form factor is great because it gives me more room to move my mouse around. Overall, pretty happy with Logitech!

Super Fast. If you don't mind not having a numpad and would rather use the space for your mouse, I recommend checking it out. It has super fast keys, quiet operation (for a mechanical), solid build and great warranty. The best mechanical keyboard I've ever used. Highly recommended if you want the best gaming keyboard on the market.

The Romer G switches are unlike any Razer or Corsair keyboard I have ever used. So satisfying to type on, and HYPERresponsive when it comes to gaming. NOTICABLE difference when playing games like CS:GO and Fortnite.

I've owned this keyboard for about two years now, and I wanted to give my feedback on it. I've used it daily for emails/web and long gaming sessions.
Overall weight of the keyboard is alright, it's a little on the heavy side, but not an issue if it you keep it at home. Might be annoying if you lug it around. Has big thick rubber feet and legs to elevate the rear.
Keys are nice and quiet. Very smooth when pressed without annoying resistance.
Pretty easy to keep clean. Keycaps come off easy when you use a tool.
The USB cable is very nice, heavy weight, wrapped, decent length and REMOVABLE. I wish ALL keyboards had removable cords.
The main reason I'm writing this review is to warn potential buyers, that the switches they use are unique to Logitech. They DO NOT use cherry mx keycaps. The keycaps Logitech uses, has small "pins" or legs on them that appear to be very fragile. A few of my keycaps have had there pins broken off from light use.. (I haven't dropped or misused my keyboard in anyway) See attached photo. A few of the pins have actually broken off INSIDE the female end of the switch. So now I can't even replace the keycap without preforming minor surgery on the switch (not even sure I can buy replacement kepcaps now that I think about it.)
Anyhow, I'm now shopping for a new keyboard with standard, easily replaceable keycaps.

Keyboard has a simplistic design that looks great on my desk. It's has very low input lag which feels great to game on. The TKL layout doesn't taken up much desk space and is nice if you use low sensitivity like me.

Wanted to downsize my keyboard from a full sized to a TKL. This fit the bill great! I wish it was usb-c to have a wider choice of after market cables but aside from that it looks and feels great.
You can really customize the look in G-Hub. The switches are REALLY good. This thing is built to last so hopefully I will get a long time out of it!

Like my title says it takes a little bit to break in the keys. But after about a week of use they break in lovely. They are mechanical in nature so they have to click down but the sound isn't annoying like some of the Razer keyboards that have that high pitch click. The colors are bright enough to see during the day I would say they are as good or better than the Razer Chroma. I found that the Logitech software runs all my Logitech stuff perfectly (Headphones, mouse, game board G13 and now this keyboard) While the Logitech G13 sometimes requires the Logitech interface to be closed down and reset, there are no issues with the keyboard, mouse and headset and always work no matter what. I have never had anything crash mid game. The keyboard kind of seems like it would be wireless but the usb chord just detaches from the front of the keyboard and the tip is a mini USB the other end is regular USB. I found this useful when moving the keyboard around to different rooms or taking it to friends houses because you don't have to wrap the chord around the keyboard, you just simply detach it all together and then can tuck the chord away during transit. We even spilled a soda on one of them (we purchased two) and it still works. The only downside is no number pad for some users (like my wife). But I find that I have much more room on my desk gaining that extra 4-6 inches. And that's all I have. Hope you enjoy this product !!

Great Minimal Gaming Keyboard

My last keyboard was a Blackwidow, which has an extremely clicky key. Friends in my group chat would laugh at how loud my keystrokes would come through on my mic, and while I used to love having a really tactile keyboard, the newest Logitech keyboards just felt great to use, and this one is no exception. I never used my 10-key number pad on my old keyboard, and this gives me even more real estate to work with on my desk, and just makes it look more minimal. Logitech's software is some of the best on the market, and the RGB color programming can be absolutely as customized and weird as you want it to be, from a flowing rainbow across your keyboard to the Matrix-style raining of green characters, every individual key can be programmed to do something different and look a different way. A word of advice, absolutely look for displays and demos of keyboards before you buy, because different keys have different feedback and noise level.

This is the best keyboard I have ever used. It's minimalist, it has bright RGB backlighting, it's tenkeyless, and it just looks clean. The cable is thin unlike Corsair keyboards and takes up only one usb slot. The software also feels clean and unbloated unlike Corsairs. The Romer G switches are definitely one of the best (more quiet version of browns). If and when Logitech adds lightspeed technology to this keyboard, it should be the only keyboard people buy.

A great mechanical keyboard, although with some reservations. The customizable RGB paired with Logitech's software (available on both Windows and Mac) is a huge plus. The Romer-Gs has a high actuation point and doesn't feel/sound as 'clacky' as the Cherry MX Browns. It does feel more mushy than Cherry switches but I thought they have a pretty good feel once I got used to it. However, because it uses Romer-Gs, the keycaps aren't replaceable.
The board overall feels pretty sturdy and heavy, and looks simple and sleek. I'm using it with a mac, and I do wish I could change the modifiers placements, but it doesn't look possible to reassign the keys in the Logitech software.
