Many appreciate the responsive performance, accurate tracking, and ease of use, although some found the shape and price less appealing. A few users experienced issues with the scroll wheel and buttons. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and features outweighs the negative comments.

    A gaming mouse for Macs

The unassuming design and white/black color scheme match any Mac perfectly. For anyone in graphic design or casual gaming, this is the mouse for you. I tried the G903 but it is too aggressive-looking, not as comfy, and overly complicated. I do not notice any lag with this mouse. My only complaint is with the software. You can’t check battery level on the mouse with a mouse button if not using an onboard profile.

I because enamored with different mice ever since I upgraded my laptop to the 2016 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. For years, I've had a small Microsoft wireless mouse that I like to take with me when I work remotely. The only issue with it is that it's so small it causes some hand cramping when you use it for a very long time. So, I decided to research other wireless mice options since that one was too small for my needs. My search led me to this very stylish mouse -- the Logitech G703 Wireless Gaming Mouse. CONNECTIVITY The first feature I was looking for in a mouse was wireless connectivity. Since I have the newest MacBook Pro, the only ports on it are USB-C and I was really looking for Bluetooth as an option. Unfortunately, the G703 does not offer Bluetooth connectivity as a feature. The mouse is "wireless" through a USB receiver that you plug into your computer. I don't currently have a USB-A to USB-C adapter, but I do have a Thunderbolt 3 dock, which allows me to connect to various devices including USB devices. So, I plugged the extension cable into the USB port on the front of the dock and then plugged the receiver into the cable. This was suggested by the videos on the Logitech website. This connection did work alright but I experienced quite a bit of lag. I had to turn my mouse tracking speed up to 100% within my system settings in order to get the responsiveness I was hoping for. I also tried plugging the mouse into the dock directly using the provided charging cable. I got a little better response this way, but it still wasn't what I would consider a 'good' connection. In this respect the G703 was a disappointment. Now, users who have a standard USB connection may not have this same issue. It is something to note for USB-C connections though since many computers are turning to it for connectivity. PERFORMANCE & DESIGN Since I had some lag issues, I can't comment a lot on the performance. I did find the mouse easy to use and very comfortable. The shape of the device fits the hand very well and it looks great. When the mouse is powered on, the "G" on the mouse and the scroll wheel light up and cycle through many vibrant colors. Because the mouse is white (there is also a black version), the colors are that much brighter. I really like that it has a standard 6-button design and that it's completely programmable for gamers. For my uses, I was really just doing basic tasks and only used the left and right buttons and the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel seemed to be overly sensitive, but that could be because I had the tracking speed turned up so high. CONCLUSIONS I was actually pretty disappointed with the G703, but I believe some of my issues may have been because of my connectivity roadblocks. I think that with the right set-up, the G703 may be a really nice mouse. It just doesn't work for my purposes since it's not a true wireless mouse.

For many years I had the corded Logitech weighted gaming mouse and was sad when it died and I could not replace it at the time. This newer version is very ergonomic and is replacing my Razor Mamba. Very comfortable to use and love being able to remove the cord and not have a huge dongle hooked up to my laptop. The mouse also can be weighted if you choose to do so.

This is my third or fourth Logitech gaming mouse. I've had Logitech wireless mice before, most recently the G700s wireless and G502 wired. I suppose the G703 should be an upgrade over the G700s (which is several years old) but it actually seems like a step backwards. Unfortunately, this mouse arrived broken; I was unable to use it in wireless mode. Logitech support said the mouse might have come unpaired from the receiver. That could make sense, but they also said there is no way to pair the mouse to a receiver so they are shipping me a new one. Bummer.. In all honesty, the G703 does not even seem like a gaming mouse. It looks and feels like a standard wireless mouse, except with a 'G' logo. It's the response rate that make it a gaming mouse and in my testing (over wired of course) it seems to be just as responsive if not more than my current mouse the G502. However, there's a lot about it that I don't like. Ergonomically, it feels awkward and does not have all of the contoured curves for your fingers of the gaming mice that I am used to. This makes it feel larger than it really is and less "premium". I like gaming mice to look like gaming mice, not something that I might see in a suit and tie office. It is also way too lightweight for my liking, even when adding the extra weight. I know the trend is to go as light as possible but I think at some point my hand actually gets more tired from pushing around something that is barely there. Finally, there is a lack of user customizable buttons. There are only 4 if you don't count left and right click. And If you want to change the DPI from the mouse itself that'll cost you another leaving you with just 3. Also you can only cycle through DPI settings, not go up and down. I typically use more buttons and the DPI up and down so this is a definite drawback for me. Pros: Powerplay Compatible (when available) Fast Response Rate (in wired mode) Wired or Wireless (if it works) Comes with extension cable for wireless receiver RGB Lighting Cons: Too light Not that many customizable buttons No battery indicator No switch to customize scroll Can't shift DPI up or down, only cycle All in all, this seems like a budget mouse with a premium gaming mouse price tag. If I really needed wireless and Powerplay I would consider trying the G903 to see if it improves upon the shortcomings of this mouse but the bottomline is that there are better mice that you can buy for your money.

I absolutely love Logitech computer accessories. I own various Logitech mice, keyboards, speakers, and more for over 15 years! I love that this mouse can be used with the power play mousepad and that can charge the mouse wirelessly! I play some games and sometimes using a wireless mouse can alter your gameplay in negative ways. I don’t feel that this mouse hinders my play experience in any way. I love it! I have nothing but great things to say about Logitech products and customer service. It’s always a pleasant experience for me. I will always buy Logitech products because of their great customer service as well.

DISCLAIMER: By the time of this review, an updated model of this mouse has been released, so don't bother reading, unless you wanna see how the old one did. Moving on: So, I've owned the mouse for about a year by the time of this review, and I will say it now ; this mouse is fantastic. Logitech has always been known to produce great mice, especially in their G line of products, and this is no different. EXCEPT for one big flaw. . . the scroll wheel. The scroll wheel began to have an issue in that when scrolling up or down, it would go the opposite direction, and after looking into it, it looks like this was a bit of a common issue for this mouse, and not something isolated. At the time, Logitech said that the reason it would do this is because of a bad sensor within the scroll wheel, and it seems like they had received a big batch of these bad scroll wheels. It would explain why the scrolling just jumps in the opposite direction and all. That alone just kinda hurts this mouse for me, as it's otherwise a really good mouse. It has a nice shape and feel to it, and it isn't that heavy compared to other wireless mice that were released along with it. One thing that could be improved on this mouse is definitely the battery life. You're basically getting a full day's worth of life out of it, which means that you'll likely have to charge it every couple of days or so. Of course, you can extend the life by about 6-7 hours if you turn off the light in the G Hub software. So yeah, again, the G703 is a solid mouse. I was just unlucky in mine having that bad scroll wheel. Right now, I'm just waiting for Logitech to respond to me.

This is the cheaper version of Logitechs premium wireless mouse. However it feels better and probably performs the same. It also has wireless charging capability like it's older brother (g903). This is a solid buy for any game. There is absolutely no lag. The mouse had good weight adjustments and great dpi settings.

Most Accurate Gaming Mouse I've Used

I originally bought this as a replacement mouse for my non-gaming laptop. After receiving the mouse, I was curious about how it would track on my gaming desktop... Turns out I won't be using this for general web browsing. This mouse is so accurate in gaming (only tested so far with twitch-shooting in Team Fortress 2), I may have to replace my SteelSeries Rival 300 with this mouse. Wired or wireless, I could not tell a difference in response times. Congrats Logitech!

When I was a kid I tried out the MX1000, the first wireless gaming mouse that was worth anything. It wasn't perfect, and once in a while interference would mess with you. This mouse has none of the problems that mouse had, has a battery life about equal to it, is around a quarter of the weight (or just under weight if you use the supplied weight in the mouse), and the receiver is excellently simple. I'm looking forward to getting the wireless charging mouse pad so I never have to have a wire attached to my mouse again. Screw a bungie and a wired mouse, go wireless guys--take it from an FPS PC gamer for over 20 years, one who has competed in such titles as UT2k4, Quake 3, Counter-Strike, Call of Duty and Titanfall.

PROS: -Aesthetically please (the black and white look is awesome) -Best click latency in the business -Top notch sensor -The M1/M2 clicks are ever so satisfying -Is very responsive considering that this is a wireless mouse. There seems to be no lag or delay at all whatsoever CONS: -I would never use this for competitive FPS games. I use a G403 w/o the weight lid and that mouse is roughly 88 grams. The G703 is 107 grams with no weight or weight lid. So it's slightly on the hefty side -the PRICE. Good gawd. $99 for a mouse? My mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches costs less than this mouse. -the PRICE -oh and did I mention the PRICE?
