I like using when working out. Not having to worry about a cable at all. However a minor thing I have had with my pair is that once in a while the left ear piece will turn off on its own and I have to turn the right one off and turn them both back on again. Other than that the sound great and can get very load and the app it comes with works great to configure the sound.

These earbuds are excellent. Totally wireless and fit extremely well. Can wear these for long periods of time with no ear fatigue. They don’t move, running or intense excercise doesn’t seem to shake them loose. Great sound right out of the box. Add the free app and you can customize the sound. Great buy.

I purchased these after my son recommended. So many negative reviews, and he owned a pair. I’m so glad I purchased. Nice clean comfortable design. Very user friendly. Great charge life and great case. Only negative I have is with ear tips. Very weak and flimsy. My son steered me into purchasing foam ear tips. I did and what a difference! Very comfortable, barely know I’m wearing. Couple helpful buying tips. Download Jaybird app, available for Android and Apple. This app makes listening experience over the top! You can adjust your own equalizer for you personal preferences. Plus they offer tons of free user choices to choose from and save. Also, you can update firmware from Jaybird website. All it takes is computer with USB port, your Jaybird Runs, and charging cable. Takes only about 10 minutes and easy to do. I purchased mine in January 2018, firmware already up to date. To summize, extremely comfortable, well built and designed, and completely customizable for individual user. Foam tip purchase is highly recommended.

Based on previous experiences with Jaybird Bluetooth headphones, I purchased the Run earbuds expecting that they would work well. Unfortunately, Jaybird has chosen a very poor Bluetooth implementation in these headphones. The signal between the two earpieces is very spotty, leading to music bouncing back and forth like a tennis ball at Wimbledon. The range is terribly short as well. I keep my phone in a holster on the right side of my belt, which should be within the recommended range for a consistent signal. However, dropouts are frequent and frustrating. At least the music sounds good when the earbuds connect. The earbuds are loud and clear, and changing how they sound is easy with the Jaybird app. With just a few touches you can switch around the bass/treble to suit your tastes, and save different profiles to the phone for later listening. The charging case seems to do its job well. You place your earbuds in the case, close the lid, and they charge right up - most of the time. There have been a few instances where I put the earbuds in the case, but they don't charge, despite having less than 60% charge. All in all I am not satisfied with my purchase of these headphones. The flaws that I have encountered while using these would not be acceptable to me for a pair of $60 Chinese knockoffs, let alone a set sold for three times as much. I will be returning these headphones, and likely not returning to Jaybird products.

I have a bit of mixed emotions about these because I’ve owned almost every generation jay birds out there. Pros: sound quality, volume, fits multiple different ear types using interchangeable ear pieces, battery life, bluetooth connection signal Cons: Price, recharging case will sometimes open just enough to turn on your head set with out you knowing draining the wireless ear pieces. With that you may think it’s fully charged when you want to use it but find out one side is dead, or someone will call you and the head set will answer the call inside of your pocket. If your not a hardcore runner or plan on getting really sweaty while working out. Might want to look for something with a smaller price tag. For me I think I’ll stick with the air pods for my iPhone.

Pros: Great sound Quality Sweat Proof Good in hot temperature Great App Cons: Sound cuts out sometimes Ear fatigue after an hour of use Right earbud dies before left buttons on buds hard to push Jaybird could have did a better job on button options. Frustrating switching between options from app. Overall great pair of gym headphones.

Jaybird is known for making great quality products. I had the first generation Jaybird X Bluetooth Headphones. Those were great and these do not disappoint. I first had trouble with connectivity, which appears to be the biggest complaint. However, once the newest firmware is downloaded the connectivity is fixed. They fit perfectly in the ears to the point where one almost forgets they are there. I charge them once a week for my workouts and the charging case keeps them fully charged the rest of the week. Sweat and waterproof keeps these working throughout a grueling workout. Great product and would highly recommend.

Sounds good Connectivity average it will disconnect for no reason Comfort good. Battery life above average The only reason why its not 5 stars is connectivity and price. Make no mistake im willing to spend 200-300 but i expect atleast above average with sound, connectivity and comfort. These should be priced 99-120. These are going back.

    Jaybird - RUN True Wireless

I was a little skeptical and at the same time excited to get the Jaybird RUN True wireless. I thought that if this really works well, it would be great for all the long runs. The Jaybird came in a nice package and they look great. I was concerned that they were short on battery. When I am out running, I won't be bringing the case to charge. I was concerned that the fitting wouldn't be great. Surprisingly I was able to get a comfortable fitting after I tried all three sizes. I used them around the house for the first day and they were great. The sound was amazing and I really liked the app which allowed me to customize my own settings or use one of the profiles. The next day, I went for a run and quickly I found the fitting for the right ear was getting loose. It fell out after a few more minutes which I caught. Then after putting it on again, it fell after a few more minutes. Essentially for the remaining run I was more concerned about it falling than concentrating on the run. I gave up after about 15 mins, during which time it fell out 3 to 4 times. I gave it another shot the following day after switching and adjusting. It seemed like when I am not running, they fit very well but the same thing happened where the right one fell a few times. Since it's truly wireless, I was not able to concentrate on the run. I ended up pocketing them all together. Being that the right ear one was the culprit, I was not able to use just the left one. Another thing I noticed was that the connection between the two did drop out a few times on the street. Overall, I think they're great sounding when you are not moving around much in the gym but don't seem to work well when outside with the connection issue. Especially if the three sets of wings do not fit well and form a good seal. I recommend getting this if you are not running outdoors and spend most of the time indoors in the gym.

I am actually very pleased with the wireless earphones. I haven't had any issues as other reviews out there. The only thing I did notice was connectivity issues but that's mostly due to low internet signals at the gym. They are great to run but sometimes they may pop off the ear if doing any sort of HIIT workouts! But overall they are great! Sound quality is great and I like the fact that you can customize the sound and make your own playlists as well. They also come with a variety of earbuds to fit your ear for comfort.

I have always been a huge fan of Jaybirds products. So when I found out that they were making the Run I had to go out and get a set. I decided to go straight to Best Buy seeing as they are the only place offering them in blue. Overall sound quality is great and you can tweak it with the Jaybird app. the earbuds themselves fit nicely in the ear and never come loose when I'm working out even when I'm sweating excessively. the auto connect is seamless. My only big complaint is the case pops open a little too easily. If I have them in my backpack or the saddle bag of my motorcycle and they shift the case will open on its own and the Bud's will auto connect.

I use these at work everyday, they charge completely in my 30min lunch break, are comfortable after you play around with all the ear pieces and have great volume and bass, and great outside sound suppression, they pair up easily and I can walk about 30 to 40 feet away befor they start cutting out, only have had 1 problem in the month or so since I have owned them where only one would pair with my.phone but I just put them back in the case and took them out again... great battery life the 5hrs is the minimum I get...

Very, very particular about headphones. So far, these are going to work. They come with more interchangeable pieces than any other buds ive tried so you can get a perfect fit. They stay in, even when active. Battery life is great for how compact they a free. And yes they are small - which i love! Occasionally, they will randomly disconnect ( and not from walking out of range of phone), and that is why they cant have all my stars. The other thing is they dont have as many options for controlling- each one has a button that you can modify on the app, but only a little. Other than that, i love them!

    Good & Bad

The good is that these are some of the best sounding headphones I've ever heard when used in conjunction with their app that allows you to EQ them, They are easy to use, stay in well and very comfortable. The bad is that the Bluetooth connection from the left to the right earbud is awful and the connection from the right earbud to your device isn't much better. If you're planning on using them in your home, outside, or somewhere with very few other Bluetooth signals, I would fully recommend them. However if you're planning on using them at the gym (like I was), or some where with other Bluetooth signals, don't bother. When you're inside somewhere with a lot of other Bluetooth signals (like the gym) the left earbud cuts out all time and it's extremely frustrating. If you're one of the those people that places their phone on the gym equipment while you use it, your right earbud will cut out as well. The busier the gym, the more it will cut out. Jaybird recommends that your phone not be more than 2 feet away from the earbud, so unless you wear your phone in an armband its going to cut out (this isn't the case outside) and they have no recommendations for the left earbud cutting out. I went the rounds with tech support, tried everything they said to try and they even send me new headphone, nothing fixed it. Jaybird refused to acknowledge that there is an issue with the connectivity of the headphone and they are basically no help. They are call "RUN" so I guess they are intended for running outdoors and work great for that, but I had higher hopes...especially for the price.

These true wireless buds are pretty darn good. The sound is fantastic, and the app allows you to customize the EQ settings with some stock ones and ones you can create yourself. Since the sound is really good and the fit is pretty tight, you might want to only use one if you're running/biking on streets and want to hear traffic. I primarily run on sidewalks and am hyper aware of cars turning (being in Colorado there are enough idiots that don't look at runners when turning on streets)... The included charging "pod" fits pretty well in a backpack pocket or at times in the front pocket. The buds pair once you remove them from the pod, which is cool because you don't have to turn them on and off to get them to pair. So far in the 6 or 7 times I have used them they have not lost the pairing with my phone. I haven't run them totally out of power since most of my runs are an hour or less (no ultramarathons for me). The fit is a little finicky. The good thing is that it comes with 3 different sizes for everything - the ear flap, and the speaker pad. Finding the right combo can be a little time consuming as both ears may need different combinations. The good thing is that you can figure this out. The bad thing is that they do get a little loose as you start to run and sweat. I'd recommend having the various combinations on you, hit the treadmill and start to get your sweat going to adjust the fit. Again, since most of my workouts are an hour or so, I have not left them in for a super long time to see if it becomes uncomfortable after hour 3 or whatever. The bad - I had one of the buds fall out when I was doing an outdoor run and it was pretty difficult to find it. One star removed since there isn't a way for you to say "Find my bud" and have it play a sound. The bluetooth map isn't super accurate, and luckily the bud fell out in short grass. It did take me close to 15 minutes to find it again, which is very frustrating. Since the sweat gets in my eyes, I'll likely start wearing a sweatband or something to make sure I don't lose them again. Overall I like these a lot.

These headphones are great when you are on the go. ( gym, running, walking, etc )They are light weight and are comfortable in the ears. They do not fall out no matter how many times you move your head and the app really gives the sound a boost . The only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars is because when you are on your down time and want to watch a video on YouTube , there is a lag with the voice where the mouth is moving and the sound comes after . Hopefully in the sooner to near future there will be an update to correct them .
