I purchased this after having some issues with a old vacuum and I was extremely happy with it's performance!

This vaccum is awesome it sucks up everything. If I would have known that I would have brought one sooner.

To start out, I've never spent a ton of money on a vacuum cleaner. Maybe at most $50? I thought skipping out on even the medium cost ones would be fine and my carpets would still get cleaned by a cheaper model. Boy, was I wrong. I love this vacuum! The assembly at the beginning was easily. Just attach the hose and a nozzle or two and you're set. This vacuum has a lot of power and you can switch from hard floors to carpets all within the flick of a switch. It really makes it nice to transition quickly between floors without stopping. I have two cats that shed like crazy and after using my old vacuum, I would still feel like there was cat hair everywhere or just dirt still in the carpets. As soon as I used this vacuum, I could see an immediate difference. My carpets almost look a shader lighter from all the dirt lifted from them, haha! The head of the unit is even small enough to fit under tables, couches and chairs more and it's easier to push around. I really like the hose on this vacuum too. It's more bendable and stretchable than any one I've used before. The only thing I will say is that, this product is a little heavy to carry up and down stairs. I don't struggle too much, but I think someone older using it might.

The Shark navigator is a powerful highly maneuverable Vacuum cleaner. The navigator is a bag free HEPA system. The collection chamber is large allowing alot of vacuuming to be done before you have to empty it. The cord is long so you don't have to play the plug game while vaccuming a large area. The vacuum can be operated with or without the roller brush , controlled by the power switch position i or ii. Cleaning and emptying the collection container is easy. A power pet hair brush and crevice tool are included. Initial assembly is mostly a snap together affair except for one nut and bolt for the handle. The included instructions are clear and there is a phone number for support if needed. The weight is 15 lbs on par with most other vacuums in it's class. This is a welcome addition to our household cleaning tools.
