These headphones have very good quality sound with the convenience of wireless transmission. They recharge with a USB connection and last for many hours of usage (I haven't run out of charge yet and have used them for 8 hours without recharging at times). The one thing I would have liked to see on them was a way to allow a Bluetooth connection as well as the default wireless.

The Astros sound great. I was looking for a better quality headset, and the materials, weight and general feel are great. My rub is the headset is still getting audio through the optical, and XBoX seems to get confused by this. I have to leave it on stereo output rather then surround sound, because it just chokes and will not work. There is an option to by a dolby application, but I am not sure if that will do anything.

This headset feels good while wearing them. I wish they had volume control for game and chat. I had to turn volume to level 20 in COD so I can hear my friend otherwise the game would drown the conversation out. Good buy if on sale. It other then that there are better options out there.

As the title of my review says I am totally satisfied with this headset for the money I paid for it. The sound quality is good, the clarity of others hearing me is good, the wireless part is good, the charge time is good, overall a good headset. Could they be better, yes but you can get the things that could be better in other headsets but you'll pay for it. One thing I disliked is the dongle that attaches to my xbox, the sound goes thru the optical port which I also use for my surround sound system so I had to buy a $10 splitter on Amazon to fix the issue of plugging and unplugging when switching between my headset and surround sound. Sometimes the I have connection issues but they have been easy to resolve with simply turning the headset off and back on. I think next time I will opt to spend a little more and see what high end headsets feel like but for the time being this suits my needs and works good.

My buddy and I both picked up these Astro A20’s after hearing lots of hype about astros and wanting a wireless headset. In game this headset makes such a difference. I clean head directional footsteps and gunfire which improves my gameplay. The fact that they’re wireless allows me to leave my controller and get up to refill my drink or what not without carrying my controller or ripping my headset off. The mic on this is also such a step up. My only complaint about this headset is that I had to pay $10.00 more for it because all they had was the special call of duty edition. Not the regular green set.

Let me start with: I'm not an audiophile. I don't get all twisted about sound quality unless stuffy is noticeably tinny. But I have found this headset to be great for both game sounds and voice chat. No tinniness. Supposedly there is a toggle between game and voice volume, but on PC it functions like volume up/down. Still, truly wireless and goes where I need. 8 months of use and it's still a champ. It beeps when the batteries are low. All in all, worth it!

I like this headset over the other brand I was using because they seem to be a lot more durable. The other brand didn't last very long, maybe a few months, before I started having issues so I returned them and got these. The sound is great, especially when playing online and I need to hear what direction the enemy is coming from. The bluetooth signal doesn't go very far and is easily interrupted by walls and appliances, so I have to remember to take them off when I go to another room. It makes it a little annoying though when I use these to listen to music from my tv via Xbox. It's not really a complaint, more-so an observation, since these are meant for gaming not walking around doing chores listening to music.

I bought this headset in December 2017 and have been using it for 3 months. Overall I really like it. I can set my controller down, walk in to my kitchen to grab a drink and still hear what's going on in the game/party. Astro has been making headsets for a long time, I purchased these because I had two other headsets stop working and wanted a trusted brand. Pros: Wireless, built-in rechargeable battery, charges via USB, can be used on a PC as well, can fine tune audio using software on your PC Cons: The audio does drop occasionally, all controls are located on the headset and you can't see them without taking headset off, headset is a bit bulky

These have probably the best sound quality you will get with wireless headphones. They are truly wireless and I don’t have my headphones unplugged whenever I drop my controller or have to bring my controller with me everywhere. They do have some connectivity issues here and there and are quite expensive but I think they are worth the purchase. Really hoping they last long.

First off let me start by saying that these headphones are super comfy and the build is stronger than i expected. However, I cant stand that it doesnt have an adapter on the controller. I'm used to being able to Mute and perform other functions right on my controller. To mute your mic you need to physically move the mic up (stupid, i get it, but stupid) If this had a controller adapter so that i could perform all those tasks this would get a 5 star. It also loses connection every once and awhile but i just unplug the adapter to the xbox and replug it in and that solves the issue. The range isnt extremely far so if you have a big room these are not for you.

I returned my AG9’s 2 times because of many issues. I decided to try out a pair of Astros. I read all the reviews on here and amazon. They were very mixed. It was hard to determine if some of the lower reviews posted had people that were entirely too tech savvy and had elevated expectations or these headphones were just not very good. Anyway they were on sale so I decided to buy them and try if I didn’t like them I would simply return them. They are not plug and play but updating the firmware is very simply and set depending on what your playing on is different for each but it’s not hard to figure out. My son and I love them. For the price the sound is very good and clear. Spatial recognition where are players are is a spot on and the battery lasts a long time. It’s worth the money my daughter uses the turtle beach 600 stealth and the sound is not nearly as good.

Can't really say anything bad about this headset. My youngest son uses these for both PC gaming and gaming on the Xbox one and these just plain rock. Like any other headset with padded ear pieces, they do get warm I'd the environment Ilis too warm...no fault of the designers...its just life. My oldest son had a cheaper model of Astros (non-wireless--A10 or something like that) and these are a big step above those...wireless is the way to go. Both he and my youngest went through a few cheaper pairs of headsets from other companies, before we bought the A20. Those headsets stopped working in one ear or had mic issues...a waste of money and performance and sound quality was nowhere near as good. If I get into gaming I wouldn't bat an eye before buying this set for myself. Would like to buy my oldest this set when I'm able. They're fantastic!

I had purchased this headset a few weeks back hoping from a reputable brand like Astro that for the money it would of been one of the better headsets but I was sadly mistaken see, once I got them in house set-up wasn't the simplest but one can figure out (if u read the manual in the box) but once set up for the first few days they would great good mic quality, clear audio, good amount of bass overall was happy with em then the issues started with random mic disconnects where it would just start recording audio once reconnected until the headset was turned off and back on, audio would be cutting in and out and choppy as if it was out of range meanwhile the receiver for em was right say not even 7 feet away I tried relocating the receiver a bit closer and still got the same issues, tried to update em with my laptop thinking maybe it needed an update to see they were up date so alas no way to fix these issues I was getting so I returned em and ended just picking up the a50s and I couldn't be happier no issues what so ever with those and one of the best headsets I've own, recommend ppl don't take chances with these (considering maybe they were a one-off) as other ppl here seem to suffer similar annoyances. If it wasn't for the issues these would have been great! Hope next gen Astro van bring out an affordable headset that works!!

Got these on sale and they’re good for the price. These are my first astros (I usually use turtle beaches) and first wireless headset and I’ve had some issues where all of a sudden my friends can’t hear me but turning the headset off and back on seems to fix the problem. I got these because the rest of my friends got them and they all like it but have the same connectivity issues. Sound quality is amazing and they’re very comfortable. They adjust easily and fit better than my turtle beaches which I needed to be just a bit smaller.

I bought this headset when I was traveling and had forgotten my headset at home. So I decided to buy a better headset and thought this would be great without spending the money on the A50's. They are very comfortable and the mic works great but sometimes when trying to use them they will not work correctly and need to be unplugged and plugged back in. Also turning down either the game volume or chat volume is not very intuitive or as easy as it is with other headsets

Pros Comfortable wearable for hours Mic mutes by moving it up Customizable settings up to three Durable Sound quality Cons Astro Software :( PIA XBOX to PC cumbersome. I wish Astro included an extra transmitter one for pc and Xbox. This way it's easy to switch. Sometimes my Xbox will lose connection to the headset at the start but I just flip the transmitter to pc and back to Xbox and it then works.
