This is my first food processor so I don't have any experience to compare but overall I am happy with this. It stands up to Ninja quality and looks durable, so hopefully will last a long time. The 400 W motor is pretty powerful to take care of nuts, meat, veggies and everything else :) The base is sturdy and have suction cup feet which keep the processor in one place. As the product description says it can also be used for spiralizing and kneading the dough. I would say that it takes a little bit practice to spiralize things the right way. The pressure and speed need to be right. I haven't tried the dough yet. It comes with two cup attachments, a blending blade, a dough mixing blade and two spiralizing blades. One of the two cups is to process almost anything from chopping nuts, slicing vegetables to pureeing fruits. The auto spiralizer lets you make a variety of vegetable noodles, fettuccini or spaghetti style. It also has a closeable drizzle hole lid for conveniently adding oils and other liquids. It's easy to setup and easy to clean as all the parts are dishwasher safe. So, overall I am happy with this processor.

Simply designed food processor with some flaws

First of all I am very impressed with simplicity of its design. Very easy to use, no more fiddling with multiple buttons to make your choice. Just press one of the desired 2 buttons and you are done! Though it is easy to use, it comes with few short comings. While using spiralizer, be ready to either waste a lot of veggies, or make sure you prepare another dish with chopped veggies of the same kind. If you can be that creative its worth it. Otherwise, it only looks good on food channel as if you don't care about throwing money away with wasted food. Shark already suggests you to chop off / trim off a good amount of vegetables in order to fit in to the spiralizer. Now after processing, push in attachment holds about half inch thick vegetable from each piece. Once you accumulate the remains, it looks like at least 20% of it get wastes including the chopped / trimmed off portion. I won't bother to knead dough with a 400W motor. Its too much pressure for the motor and you can only knead a small portion of dough. Thought it's a creative piece of machine, day to day usage is not practical especially with the amount of veggies going to get wasted. Despite off the short comings, I would recommend Ninja - Precision Processor if you are a food channel enthusiast or a creative cook.

This is a nice processor and a great spiralizer. It come with two cup attachments, a blending blade, a dough mixing blade, and two spiralizing blades. The spirializer attachment adds a few extra steps, but it turns veggies into noodles in just a few seconds. I'm never going back to using a hand cranked sprializer again. The processor cup is plenty big, but the gap between the bottom of the cup and the blade is a little bigger than Ninja's previous models. It left a good chunk of the bottom not well blended. The base is a little basic, with only Start/stop and pulse, but it gets the job done. Everything comes apart easily and is easy to clean. Good stuff.

    Smart Design Food Processor

The Ninja - Precision Processor is designed for power and ease of use. Those are my top two requirements. It has the kind of power that prevents bogging down and I tried items like potatoes and it spiralized the potato like it was cotton candy. This unit functions as a normal food processor making smoothies or chopping up nuts or even kneading bread (and comes with the kneading blade). But it also spiralizes. It comes with two spiralizing blades: Spaghetti and Fettuccini; you can buy additional blades. I did cucumbers, onions, potatoes and others. It really worked great. It turns them into coiled pieces and you can easily then make a cucumber salad etc. One thing my wife did was to spiralize a potato and then an onion and fried them up together and for us that was a meal and the taste was wonderful. I did notice that the construction makes it simple and intuitive to use this device. I have an old food processor and it has too many parts and doesn't work as well as this new design. Cleaning up was easy since there are no spots where food can hide in the various parts - nice. I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a machine to make delicious smoothies or to make things like hashed brown potatoes and many other tasty items. It does come with instructions that are quite usable and a very nice recipe book.

    HAPPY NINJA

The Ninja Food Processor is a little daunting when first unboxed because of so many attachments and available options for use in the directions, so you'll have to do some reading before using it. However within a few minutes of possession it all becomes crystal clear. Then you find that this food processor is the perfect kitchen partner, not only significantly shortening food preparation time over other food processors or no processor at all, but also allowing you to make things otherwise not possible without it; foods can be cut into decorative shapes like flowers etc. etc., for having company over. The Ninja Food Processor is quiet during use and is very easy to clean, but you have to be careful because the blades are extremely sharp. The Unit is seemingly very well built, indicating that it will last a long time in heavy use. There's even little suction cups on the bottom so unlike other food processors that tend to want to move around on your countertops during use, this one stays firmly put while in use. With Christmas coming up we will be purchasing a couple more of these Units as gifts. Excellent value for the money spent.

We already have a line up of Ninja products because we love the craftsmanship, aesthetics, and performance, but definitely wanted something in a smaller size that could get the job done without sacrificing. This precision processor does just that. When we first took everything out of the box it was a bit overwhelming because of the accessories and attachments. It seemed a bit much for such a small appliance and I couldn't really figure it out perfectly without reading the instructions. I am not one for reading instructions because I'm one of those people.... But after taking the time to do things right I was quite impressed and had my wife put this thru her full kitchen test. She immediately fell in love with it and says that it makes cooking that much easier and fun. The spiralizer was better than I expected as I have never used one and was quite skeptical at first. After placing some squash and cucumbers into the spiralizer I was excited to get a fresh and appetizing looking salad of vegatables. It was so easy, quick, and made it fun. We then chopped some fresh onions in the chopper attachment and did not shed one tear. Amazing! It has simple controls with only two buttons, Start/Stop and Pulse which need no explanation. It comes equipped with suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place while in use and is small enough to leave on the countertop if you so wish. It has multiple blade attachments for both the chop and spiralizer accessories. The chopper has an opening flip up to add liquids while chopping, blending, or pureeing which I have yet to use but am looking forward to this when I start my liquid fast. So excited to have something so convenient and practical to use for everyday in the kitchen. Definitely lives up to the Ninja standard and worth every penny....

Don't let this product's compact size distract you, it's a powerful machine in disguise. It easily chops up nuts, veggies, ice...you name it. The spiralizer attachment works fairly well, it's not able to process the entire vegetable though, leaving just a small chunk. Spiralizer works great on squash and potatoes. It also comes with a neat little recipe book that my wife loves. Great product!

As a basic chopper, this little machine does great. It's a good size if you're not using the auto spiralizer. The base is nice and solid and for added stability it has small suction cups on the bottom to keep it in place on the counter. The build quality is very good and has thick plastic parts that fit well together. The motor is quite powerful and had no problem chopping through anything. The standard chopping blade that's used in the bottom portion are very sharp and staggered to help chop everything in the cup. The down side of this chopper seems to be the auto spiralizer. It's a nice idea but the implementation falls short. The food you put in has to be prepped too much just to fit it in the chute. The spirals were just OK and the success or failure you experience are too closely linked to how well you size the veggies before you put them in. It just takes more time than I cared to put in. The spiralizer also has just too many parts to clean, store and keep track of. Overall, I really liked the bottom portion for quick chopping and easy cleanup, but the top part was just too involved for me. If you really like the idea of spiral cut veggies, I'm sure with a little effort you can make great spirals without too much trouble. For me, it was just a lot of parts for something I won't use too much. Great Ninja build quality throughout though, and a relatively small footprint so that you could leave it on your counter without losing a ton of space.

    Vegetable Noodles!

The Ninja Precision Processor is great. Is is a powerful food processor that allows you to perform a wide variety of tasks. The dough blade makes making dough a snap, way easier than mixing by hand or even with a hand-held mixer. I mostly plan on making salsa with this, as it is a great way to get extra vegetables for a healthier diet. I use the salsa on eggs at breakfast, as well as on chicken or tacos for dinner. I try to have at least 4 different vegetables each day, and this makes it easy. I'm excited to try the included recipes, as my daughter has been asking me about making vegetable noodle, which the auto-spiralizer attachment can do. We've only used the spiralizer once, but the noodles are quick and easy to make.

This is my first food processor so I have no perspective on how this compares to other similar devices. I am unimpressed with the frilly veggie options - this feature serves no purpose to me as I usually cook for myself and I never cook "fancy". This is sized well, with the smaller attachment that fits on the top, for a single person. Again, I have no idea if this does a better or worse job than a competitor, but it worked as expected (with a little practice). The good news is that this takes up little counter space. I see no real negatives to this but there isn't something the blows me away that it does well. This does come with a "recipe" book but I was surprised there was nothing about salsa - one of the reasons that I secured this was a curiosity of making fresh salsa.

    Bigger More Powerful with Spiralizer

This Ninja set is the usual well-built sturdy, easy-to-clean countertop appliance that this company is known for. The newer models are moving away from the motor-on-top design. This one has a solid base with a powerful 400 watt motor. It is very easy to put the two base bowls on and off into locked and unlocked positions. Both the regular chop/process bowl and the spiralizer bowl has a quick-release button to unlock and lock the tops for easy access. The chop section top has a little port to add fluids to without having to remove the top. There are seperate push buttons on the base for pulse and steady motor control. Of course the chop/process bowl and blades do the usual fast and efficient work on your ingredients. That bowl has an included dough-mixing non-metal "blade" for mixing and making dough. Butter added had to be quite soft as with even the power of the Ninja motor it was unable to "whip" butter that was still semi-hard from being in the freezer. I'm thinking it's more suited to adding dough ingredients a little at a time. The spiralizer was pretty easy to use and made short work of a few carrots. The unit comes with two "blade" discs, one for spaghetti-sized "noodles" and one for fettuccine size. There are other size blades available. The carrot spirals made with the spaghetti blade were rather short (maybe 2") when compared to the ones you might get on the side of your plate at a Thai place, but it worked well and worked quickly. I am looking forward to making hash browns with raw potato spirals.

Been wanting to try and make veggie noodles for a while now. So I was excited to try out the Ninja Precision Food Processor. Let me tell you it makes it super easy to do with this machine. Just pop in the blade of the auto spiralizer and pop the top on and insert your vegetables and that’s all! There’s also the food processor cup where you can process your normal foods. It has 4 super sharp blades and is just as easy to use as the auto spiralizer. The processor base is 400 Watts. It comes with a chopping blade assembly, dough blade, spaghetti blade disc, fettuccine blade disc, cleaning brush and a recipe book. With this machine I can attempt to cook more healthy!

I decided to try out this product because I already have a large food processor of a different brand. It works well, but I wanted a smaller model for those smaller jobs that wouldn’t be a pain to clean. After my experience with two previous Shark/Ninja products I chose this. I really like my Shark Vacuum and my Ninja blender will leave my hands after I draw my last breath. I was unsure if the stringer blades would be of use to me or not, but figured what the heck. I’ll give it a try, and if I don’t care for that feature I’ll still have a smaller food processor that would hopefully be easier to manage and clean than my behemoth. After unboxing (and being raised in a germ-o-phobic German Catholic household) I wanted to give all the parts a good wash before using. This brought about my first disappointment. The cylinder that is used when stringing/shredding veggies has a three lobed guide that runs down into it to stabilize your potatoes, zucchini, cucumbers and the like as you shred. It is non-removable which makes it very difficult to clean. They do include a brush to assist with the job, but I feel strongly that this part should twist off for much easier cleaning. As a food processor, my first trial was with some fresh roasted pumpkin. The holidays are coming and I like to have a good stash in the freezer for making breads, pies, etc. Due to it size, your average sugar pumpkin will need to be done in 2-3 batches. Totally within my expectations. On the first batch, I think I had it a bit overloaded. The Ninja has plenty of power to puree anything, but if you get too much pumpkin in it you might have a couple of chunks that wind up “floating” on top of the load and have to push them down and restart. After that it was smooth sailing…..and velvety smooth pumpkin puree. So then I washed up the lower processor portion and got ready to string up some zucchini. You attach the lower bin, slide in the receiving cup, set the blade disc on that and then attach the upper column with its hard to clean lobes. It zipped right through the zucchini creating spaghetti-like strands in an instant. With its capacity, you’ll likely fill the receiving cup after one average sized zucchini and that’s to be expected. I tossed the strands with a little vinegar, sugar and steak spice; then placed in the refrigerator overnight to flavor. The next day I had a delicious and healthy “Spaghetti Salad”. Nom nom nom. In summary, as a smaller capacity food processor this thing rocks! The Ninja does a very good job at stranding veggies also. And it does both at a reasonable price point. The only real drawback is the clean-ability of the veggie chute. I strongly believe that a twist and lock removable top would be a huge benefit.
