Nice Keyboard for the mobile office

I purchased this primarily for the backlit keys. I was traveling in a car as passenger and my previous keyboard was not backlit. This one is slightly bulkier than my solar powered keyboard, but still worked out fine for my trip. I wish Logitech made a keyboard that was made with a wing on the left side, effectively centering the keys. This would make typing on your lap much easier.

Good keyboard, bad software & support

I bought this new at $200. Several months later the backlighting has stopped turning off (it's supposed to turn off a few seconds after you move your hands away). Even when the lighting worked properly, it was very poorly designed: Keys did not light up until After you started typing (which I think they should light as soon as your hands approach the keys), AND they turned off about 5 seconds after you stopped typing (there should be a longer delay). The software that comes with it is useless: It gives you extremely limited control over the lighting and contacting Support does nothing to resolve issues. I have been a devoted customer of Logitech for many years and even with these problems I will still continue with them, but their product design on this Craft Keyboard is very bad. Also, I think the huge knob on the keyboard is ugly and destroys the overall appearance. However, I can tell you that typing on the keyboard is pure pleasure (even with the problems). The keys are beautifully quiet and feel good with every touch. The Craft is a sturdily-built keyboard and most of it will probably last a long time. The cordless ability is very satisfactory for me and customizing the function keys is easy (even though they don't maintain connection on occasions. But, at the price I paid and even at a lower price of $180 I cannot recommend the Craft Keyboard. It's sleek style grabs your attention, but over months of use some features begin to fail and Support cannot help. If you buy it, I wish you better luck. Note: Check Logitech Forums and you'll see the difficulties owners are having with it.

Very please with the various programmable functions of the dial and with the fabulous ergonomics of the keyboard. It's not flimsy. Nice weight and heft to it. The keys aren't cheap plastic they feel great when typing with a softer thump. The pads light up when you move your hands closer to type and off again when you take them away. It's USB rechargeable and lets you know on the computer screen when the charge is running low. This is defintely a keeper. Very happy with this purchase. Well worth the money!

I bought this instead of buying the surface dial because it offered similar functionality and the keyboard that came with surface studio isn't backlit like this unit. very nice keyboard and added functionality with the controller.

This keyboard is quite expensive but well worth it. The keys are nice and it looks amazing. The Backlit keys have a proximity sensor that turns the lights on when your hands are right about to type. It also has a customizable dial on the left hand side that makes certain tasks easier. It works very well with Adobe CC apps. I would have to say that this keyboard is the ''Cadillac'' of keyboards and I'm happy to own it.

I wanted a wireless, Bluetooth keyboard with lighted keys. This fit the bill. It has great tactile keys, much more travel than the Apple Chiclet. It easily switches between my desktop and laptop. There is a dial with added features that I have not found useful, but it’s there. I could not be happier with it. The lighted keyboard illuminated with proximity. A charge lasts a little less than a week.

After using a less costly wireless keyboard for about 3 months I replaced it with this one, due to a key breaking on the prior device. Long battery life, illuminated and sturdy!

I use this all the time now, but the real benefit kicks in on some programs like Photoshop. The craft wheel allows for the ability to change brush sizes and a few other cool quick items. When working on web design it also kicks in with browsing through open tabs in your browser. A little pricey, but solid build and some solid help making some tasks easier

I honestly never want another keyboard. The feel of the keys, the size, the heft (it is HEFTY), the dial, the backlighting, and the absolutely flawless quick switching between three computers has made this keyboard such a joy to use. I can't think of any reason not to buy it...except for the price. At the same time, I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

What I like: The tactileness of the keys. They are some of the best keys I've typed on. They're quiet as well. What I wish was better: the angle the keyboard sits isn't that high and there isn't really a way to make it higher. The knob isn't that useful, cool feature but isn't used much. Definitely pricey.

A Wireless Keyboard with a solid feel but has bugs

I am using this keyboard with Windows 10 and I love this keyboard, very versatile and since I'm a bit old school I enjoy the travel of the keys when I type. I have few issues with this keyboard though. 1) On a full charge with all day use, will last for a possible good three days. What's great, while I am charging the keyboard I can still continue to use it. 2) Bluetooth connection is horrible if I walk away from my computer and it goes into sleep mode, often it loses it connection and I have to pair again. 3) In Logitech options app, the Flow app doesn't work well with this keyboard and find myself switching it manually from one computer to the other. Bottom line is that I expected more from this keyboard especially at this price if Logitech would fix the Bluetooth connection and flow issues I would give this keyboard 5 stars.

If you use multiple computers at once, having this keyboard is a "must". Hopping between computers is just a button away. However, I don't give 5 starts? Using Bluetooth with Windows 10 is not a pleasant hopping. I had to re-pair the keyboard with my Surface Laptop at least once a day. I've turned to use the Unity USB dongle instead and that has solved my problem.

Quiet keystroke, quality build, dial is nice but could use more profiles for other programs. Keep the backlight off to increase battery life by 2000%. If you have it on, it lasts roughly a week. If you turn off the backlight, you get like 2-3 months.

Great keyboard, wireless and lighted. Great feel of the keys. Full keyboard with numeric keypad. Rechargeable. Does need recharging every few days but can be used when charging using a USB. High quality aluminum. Hard to find a wireless lighted keyboard. Expensive though.
