This is my third MX Ergo mouse. I have one for several locations. One of the best trackball mice out there. Quality materials, customization, and easy to use. I don't intend on replacing this until I break it with the millions of clicks I have on my first one.

Took two days to truly adapt to the new non motion. I’ll never turn back now. It’s perfect. If you have big hands like me then this is the perfect mouse for you . It’s chunky.

This takes my wrist pain away! Learning curve but it’s worth it. The instructions are better in the Logitech app, there’s nothing in the package really. The Plus version comes with an extra platform (plastic) that gives it an even more natural tilt. (Higher degree than just the metal plate given). I like it. But you can take it off too.

I’ve always used a trackball mouse but hated not having a scroll wheel. This mouse is everything I’ve looked for in a mouse. Even more efficient at work with this thing with less fatigue!

Really good mouse. No need to install any software. The useless logitech download assistant can be disabled in the startup of windows task manager. If there is a model for left hand user, that would be great for another purchase

I tried this mouse out and like the feel and smooth operation but I could not get over the way the base of my outward portion of my palm does not rest on the mouse so I tend to tilt my wrist outward and end up readjusting my arm and wrist to a comfortable straight position like when you sit at a table and lay your arm on the table naturally and have yet to find a good mouse that will do that. I wear extra large gloves so a mouse this size is what I need, a regular mice tends to cramp up my hand. Over all a great mouse that needs better circumference design to keep you from turning the mouse 45 degrees counter clock wise to get the feel you want. I just am going to keep using my Logitech M570 which is a little better with hand placement. I am sure this will work for hand smaller than extra large.

I had no idea how good trackball operation was as opposed to standard and wireless mice.
My thumb does get a workout though.
Love the space saving.

Bought one of these for home and loved it and with getting a new monitor for work, I figured it was about “that time” to get a new mouse. I’ve used trackballs for decades and always loved them. Add the cordless part and you have a winner.

The riser only works in the angled position. When you put it at an flat position, the mouse slides off of the riser. The trackball would stick and I had a hard time with it. Luckily I had an extra ball from a previous mouse and after replacing it, the mouse worked great. Overall, I wouldn't spend money on the "Plus" part of this mouse. Use the money you save on that to get a new trackball.

Hello PeaBee, Thank you for choosing Logitech and for taking the time to review the MX Ergo Plus Wireless Trackball Mouse. I have a attached a link to the “Getting Started” page for MX Ergo Plus where you can find product guides, software downloads and further assistance. The difference between the MX Ergo and MX Ergo Plus is the optional wedge which provides an additional adjustment to the angle. If using the MX Ergo Plus flat, this wedge would not be necessary. The MX Ergo and MX Ergo Plus are both currently $99.99 US. The ball for the MX Ergo can be removed for cleaning. If you have issues with the trackball sticking, further assistance is available on the Logitech support website. I hope you enjoy your MX Ergo Plus Trackball. I have a PC hooked up to my main TV and a laptop that I keep nearby. I usually use a wireless mouse or the touchpad, which is a pain for placement on the couch. However, with this wireless trackball I am able to sit comfortably on my couch and switch between either of the devices without switching between mice. With one device using Bluetooth and the other using the included adapter I am able to switch between them with just a click of the button on top.
The ergo design and unique hinge base allows for it to be flat like a normal mouse or tilted 20 degrees to reduce strain. It also has an additional base that adds another 10 degrees to the angle to help even more relieve that carpal tunnel. The base has a nice grip to prevent sliding and is attached to the trackball magnetically. The ball itself is smooth, took me a minute to get used to as all I commonly use are mice. My fingers twitch too, so usually a trackball is hard for me to do any fine movement, however, they included a button for that as well, which switches to a fine tune. There are forward and back buttons as well and with the Logitech Options Software, you can program each of the buttons to your own liking. Though I have only had this for about a week, they claim the built in battery will last up to 4 months on a full charge, or all day with only a matter of a minute. Maybe in 4 months I can tell you how that has gone, but so far I haven’t plugged it back up since I received it, already saving me a set of AA batteries from my mouse.
