Starting with the positive, I love the cordless capability and the multiple heads available. Definitely able to pickup pet hair, pine needles and styrofoam pieces. Negatives: can only push forward to pickup, does not work when you pull it back... much different from a normal vacuum. Capacity to hold is limited... fills up very quickly.

This is our second Dyson v10. We have one on each level of our house. We also have the v7 animal. The v10 is noticeably smoother and has a longer charge life. We love it so much that my husband bought 3 more at Christmas to give as gifts. It makes vacuuming incredibly easy. We bought it on sale, so it was a great value.

If you use the vacuum on its highest setting it lasts a minimal amount of time. It is not necessary to be on max power for normal use. Half power is good enough but only lasts around 30 minutes. A trigger lock would be nice so you don’t have to hold it in while use. We are happy with the vacuum though.

The ease of use is wonderful, so well designed in that it is bagels and easy to empty, clean, not to mention cordless. Highest level is quite powerful but short lived. 20-30 min at most. However:the medium speed is sufficient for most or any jobs and lasts long enough to get at least 900 square foot space vacuumed.. connections are super easy to detach and change..wish it came with a hard floor attachment, but it’s sold separately.

I’ve really enjoyed using this vacuum! I put it to the test after getting rid of our real Christmas tree that left a lot of needles on the carpet. After two passes, all of the needles were gone and the small attachments got the corners that the regular attachment couldn’t reach. Would definitely recommend!

I have now had Dyson V10 Motorhead for 8 months and I love it! I had a competitors upright vacuum, which worked well but when I bought a new house, I thought I would need to replace or get another vacuum to avoid having to carry it around for 3 floors. I considered a robot but I am so glad I went with the cordless instead! On the lowest setting, I can vacuum my entire house (about 3100 sq ft, mix of rugs/carpet/hardwood) with one full charge. I have long hair and so far, I have not had to sit and pull out tangled hair from the machine. If I have any complaints, it's that it does not work as well with the crevice and brush attachments. I do wish it came with the Torque Drive brushroll but obviously, that's more money.

Easy to use. Wicked powerful and best of all cordless!

We have lots of wood and tile and this little vac makes clean up easy and quick. Charge last about 20 minutes. Make sure you keep the filter clean. It will shut down on you if you don’t do that, but that is easy and quick to do. Dyson is a bit pricey but it works better and last longer

So easy to use, we love that you can attach the mount to the wall for easy storage. We upgraded from our old cordless Dyson from8 years ago, this has so much more suction and a nicer Motörhead. If you love your old Dyson its a must to upgrade to this newer version.

This is my first vacuum without cords. This works really well. Easy to operate. Cleans almost entire house floors and corners in one charge. No cords to deal with. Occupies less space in house. Easy to empty.

This is the best vacuum ever. The battery last long on the medium and low setting but, for the high it definitely averages about 10minutes on consistent use. All in all the suction is super strong. My favorite vacuum I’ve ever used. Definitely worth the money.

Good battery and suction and works on carpet and hard floors.

This is a great light weight vacuum! I have three floors to clean and on the medium setting it does great! I have plenty of battery power to get through cleaning and then some. We have a bird that throws seeds and feathers everywhere and my Dyson is my new best friend!

I had an older V6 that died after 4 years, and I upgraded to the V10. Huge improvement in battery life and overall performance compared to the V6. Lasts way longer even on MAX setting, and build quality/emptying canister is easier than the older models.

This is a lightweight, battery operated vacuum and it works like a champ. Easy to operate and easy to clean. We had bought one of these for our daughter and her husband for Christmas and they were thrilled. Now, we needed a new vacuum and we're equally as thrilled.

I was in the market for a versatile vacuum and I found it! I was concerned a little about the pricing. This vacuum is a easy set up, it is also very light weight and slim design for smooth concealment against walls or inside of closets! I love love love!

Up there in price point, but the Dyson is by far the most powerful and usable vacuum I've owned. Owning a constantly shedding dog, this thing picks up worked in dog hair from carpets with ease, as well as easy usability for the bundles that need to be picked up

My first Dyson and it did not disappoint! Very light, very quiet, very powerful. My only complaint is the small trap for dirt. This thing picks up a lot of dirt, the first time you use it, you'll be emptying it often.

I PURCHASED THIS CORD FREE VACUUM BECAUSE THE LARGER ONE THAT I HAVE ALWAYS HAD WAS BECOMING DIFFICULT FOR ME TO MOVE AROUND. THIS CORDLESS VACUUM IS POWERFUL AND REALLY DOES A GREAT JOB. ESPECIALLY WITH PET HAIR. AND ITS EASY TO MOVE AROUND. LOVE IT!
