Overall I am impressed with these. I heard about the connectivity issues but decided to buy anyways. I think the bass on these are way better that any other earbuds based system. The equalizer function is also very high quality. Jaybird really did good on this one. I just updated the firmware and will test with my Apple Watch. Based upon my other runs it worked well with the phone in my pocket. When I connected to my apple watch is when I experienced issues. If I have no issues I will update my review. I still think these have the best audio quality for the wireless earbud market. It's also good to know Jaybird is updating these earbuds.

These earbuds are amazing. The sound is incredible especially paired with the app. It takes some playing around with, but if you take the time you can get a fit that will not fall out and provide the seal needed for the perfect sound.
The reason for 4 stars instead of 5:
When on a call, having only one bud with voice is annoying.
Also there are minor connection issues when you take out one earbud at a time.

These headphones fit snugly in your ear, even during rigorous exercising. The Jaybird app also allows you to make nice adjustments to your sound profile and update the earphone software, as needed. I ended up keeping these earphones despite a few issues that still happen today. First, the earphones lost their bluetooth connection frequently, especially when using them in a gym. Second, there are times when one headphone loses a charge faster than the other, despite charging them at the same time (for the same amount of time). The carrying case is small and easy to transport. Despite their flaws, these are still my "go to" earphones when exercising. Once Jaybird fixes the connection issues on this product, they will be formidable contenders against the Airpod Pros and Powerbeats Pros.

Great Sound On The Run

I enjoy getting outside, especially in the summer to go running / jogging and stay fit. I enjoy listening to music or podcasts when I run, however, one of the challenges that I have had in the past with wired headsets is that the wire gets tangles and/or the headset ear pieces fall out of my ears. Over the last few days I tried the new Jaybird Run True Wireless Headphones and I have loved every minute of using them.
The Jaybird Run True Wireless Headphones work amazingly well. I loved the case they came in and even better the case itself is used to charge the actual ear pods. The Jaybird comes with many replacement ear pieces that can also be switched out for different sizes too so no matter the size of your ear you will be able to get them to fit well.
I first paired the Jaybird Run True Wireless Headphones. with my iPod as this is what I use much of the time when I am running. Even though the iPod was a few years old I had no problems connecting the Jaybird to the Bluetooth setting on the iPod. Once connected I found that they automatically connected in and gave amazing sound to me both when I ran and when I was stationary. I also have to state that through using the Bluetooth I did not have to worry about any wires which was amazing. I could focus on my run without worrying that the wired earbud would fall out, or getting tangled with the wires in some cases.
Best of all for me, the Jaybird Run True Wireless Headphones give you about 4 hours of continuous music play without charging up again. This allows you to not have to worry about charging them every time that you get back from a workout.
These earbuds are also very durable. They are sweatproof and dirtproof to handle the worst of your workout.

I love my Jaybirds. I bought them so I could workout without wires getting in my way at the gym. I had a problem with them cutting out if I got too far away from my phone when I had them paired with with phone, but that was solved by pairing them to my iwatch instead. They still cut out for a second every now and then, but not so much that it is an issue. The jaybird run are very comfortable, and fit well in my ear. You do have to take the time to select the right ear gel and wing to fit your particular ears, but once you do, they are very secure. What I love most is they are so easy to use....one button on each ear bud does everything. And to turn them off, just put them back in their charging case. To turn them on, just take them out of the case. They charge reliably and I have not had an issue with them. The case will recharge the ear buds itself a couple of times before you have to charge the case....super convenient if you are away from home. And they have a fast charge option...5 minutes of charge will get you an hour of play time....great for those of us that sometimes forget to charge our wireless devices! The sound is really good on them...again, once you have the proper fit for your ears. All in all, I am super happy with my jaybirds. I think they are the best wireless earbuds out there, especially for people who work out.

After reading several mixed reveals I decided to give these buds a try. At first things were sweet, the sound was amazing as they normally are with Jaybird products. The fit was decent with little ear fatigue. And from there things get bad.
These earbuds are suppose to be made for runners, etc. however; they never hold a solid connection. Jaybird demos their video like everything is perfect about these headphones and they work great. However they tell you in the app to position your phone on your right side especially when using a armband or waistband which I've done. Not one time in the video did I see anyone wearing a armband or a waistband with their phone on the right side. The earbuds lose connection even in plain sight of the phone I'm talking less than 2ft. away or even when linked to a smartwatch which is attached to your wrist.
This product is the second worst product Jaybird has produced. I'm trying to see if they can fix this issue within the next week and a half before I return them. I really want to love them but for now I can't say they are worth the cost or the hassle.

They have great sound & keep a charge for so long. Now I wish I bought my husband his own he keeps stealing them from me because he even loves them. They stay in your ears even when you running. I had a different brand prior that would fall out when you bounced, jumped, & ran. I ended up loosing one of those& that's why I bought these.

These buds are almost perfect. They sounds great, they fit my ears great and they stay in through my runs! Even in my tempo runs, they stay firmly in my ears. I can use them and they block out ambient nose effectively without cutting it out totally. My only ding with these are volume. I would like them to be as little louder.

I’ve been waiting for these buds to come out for months. I have the Jaybird X3’s and love them, but the battery life has depleted due to use. I got these buds on the day they released.
I tried them on and connected and everything worked well sitting in my chair. Sound was Great. Fit was ok but not bad for buds. They didn’t feel like they would fall out, but the right bud was a bit irritating. It was fine for 20 minutes. Im not sure how an hour of use would feel. The left bud was great. I couldn’t even tell it was in my ear and it was very secure.
When I went out for a run I was extremely disappointed. As my left arm moved (I connected with Apple Watch), it would temporarily loose connection. This was so annoying I had to stop my run and went back to my PC to troubleshoot.
After reading articles from Jaybird, they acknowledged a Bluetooth connection problem and gave instructions on how to download a firmware update that would fix the problem.
I followed the instructions, but the firmware would not update. I kept getting error messages running the update. I found another troubleshooting guide from Jaybird in how to fix the firmware update. I tried multiple USB ports, several microUSB cords, and even two different PC’s but nothing worked.
I submitted support tickets but have heard nothing back. I’m extremely disappointed in this product launch and would recommend waiting until Jaybird gets their act together in this product before purchasing.

Researched truly wireless earbuds for a very long time before finally settling on these. 100% the right decision. I like these better than AirPods, better than bose, better than everything else. They fit amazing, they don't jostle around in my ears, I have had zero connectivity issues, the charging case works great and looks dope. I cannot say enough good things about these.

This is the second pair of Jaybird RUN I bought, a Christmas gift for my wife. I use mine for trail runs, street runs and at the gym. One of the essential features for me, particularly on long trail runs, is how the earphones fit and how stable they are; the RUN’s fit is excellent and they do not move, even during long jumpy downhill runs. After reading many reviews, I was concerned about the Bluetooth connection but mine works well, even at the gym where other Bluetooth are activated. The sound is great and I like the App to personalize it. These earphones are better than the X3 I had before and I haven’t had, so far, any battery problems, which was an issue with the X3. The travel case on this special edition solves a problem I had while traveling, namely that of the battery case opening by accident and the earphones connecting to my phone without me noticing. The battery case should have a stronger closing mechanism and the travel case should be added to all Jaybird RUN.

I do love the audio quality and perfect for when I am at the gym and running. I just have an issue with the left ear bud which loses connection at least twice within 1 hour of play. This has been my second pair thinking that it was an issue with the first purchase. Seems to be with all of them.

I'm new to wireless ear buds. I'm not an audio file but I do enjoy good sound and if I'm spending enough money I expect it. The jaybird sound good., I like the app they have with them. The find your buds feature worked well. I don't like that when you are using them to talk to someone it only comes through the right ear(mono). But all in all I'm very happy I bought them. No issues with them falling. Out yet.

I love my X3 but wanted to try the truly 'wireless' experience so naturally I went with the RUN. First off my ears are finicky and many of these type just don't want to stay in. I found the medium tips to actually work really nicely. They actually stay in my ears! Miracle! During workouts (kickboxing, crossfit etc) I had no worries about them popping out. The pill case storage is nice and it recharges after use. The easy of pairing to phone was great. No issues there.
Now the bad. I didn't like that you have to push the buds for any action as it pushed into the ear. Secondly, the connective issues was terrible. Moving about the left would disconnect and reconnect constantly (I've tried other wireless and these seem to be the worst). I updated the firm wear and it still would intermittently still do it. Volume is another issue. Sometimes it would be just fine and other times even at full volume it was really low. Had to go back and soft reset to get it working again.
Frankly, these are the fussiest 'wireless' experience I've had. When it works it works great. No disconnection, comfortable to wear and decent sound to my ears but when it doesn't work which at is point about 50% every time it turns on is extremely frustrating to use when I just want to listen to music while at the gym and not have to fiddle/fight it for 15min. That is fail in my book for $180.
Maybe Jaybird will release another update that might improve but right now they are just not reliable and frustrating to use.

Overall: Good Product, Good Sound, and Stays in ear well.
I have been using these for a few weeks. Set up was pretty easy, but I did have to do a hard reset on them after the original connection. They do occasionally lose connection when something changes on the phone (music app change, phone call, etc.) This is easily remedied by either turning ear buds off and back on or selecting a different output and then back to the JayBirds.
I have used them both with my iPhone as well as a Scan Disk bluetooth MP3 player. Had similar issues with both, but all resolved eventually.
They stay in my ears very well. I had to change the tips, but after that they don't out. I've gone on hour long runs with zero issues.
Hopefully some of the connectivity issues can be resolved with future software updates.

Previously owned the X2 and X3 and wanted a true wireless set of earbuds. The cord on the X2/3 would catch or stick to the back of my neck when I got sweaty which got annoying at times, however; they sounded great, never loss connection and fit great. When I decided to get the RUN based on my great Jaybird experience, they flat out didn't work that great at all. The fit was fine, they sounded great, but the connection was horrible. Specifically, the left earbud would drop connection, the buds sounded like the songs were being played faster, and this happened all the time. Every time I used them it would happen. I returned them thinking I got a lemon, but the second set was even worse. I returned the second set for a different brand (Jabra's).
