Customers are saying

Customers are delighted by the G513 RGB Wired Gaming Mechanical Romer-G Linear Switch Keyboard's high-quality build, comfortable wrist rest, and satisfying key feel. The vibrant RGB lighting is also a frequently praised feature. However, some users find the accompanying software to be somewhat problematic and challenging to navigate. Overall, the positive feedback on the keyboard's physical attributes outweighs the concerns about the software.

Pretty sleek looking Mechanical keyboard. Not too over the top but still flashy with a hint of class. This keyboard comes with a nice plush palm rest. Most keyboard palm rest are rubber. The tactile bump is perfect. You get the bump without the click. Similar to cherry mx brown. Just much quieter and with less key travel. The RGB keys are controlled with logitech's gaming software. You can individually control each key light color if you want or choose from a list of effects and colors. The only thing you can't do is layer effects like with corsair's software. Which brings me to my one and only real complaint. The space bar stabilizer. I wish it was just a quite as all the other keys. But to my understanding, there is no getting away from that. All keyboards space-bars tend to be louder than all the other keys do the the stabilizer. whether you get a membrane or mechanical. Corsair or Logitech. My buddy has a corsair mx cherry red keyboard and his keys are much loader than my romer g tactile switches.

I am coming from using a Vengeance K70 and Logitech G Pro TKL keyboard. I had high expectations for this purchase and was more than pleased. I use my computer for 8-10 hours a day for content creation and then 2-3 hours of gaming. This keyboard delivered excellent ergonomics for extended typing and gaming. The slim profile, unlike other "elite" style boards, made it easy to push the keyboard out of the way when bringing out the sketch pad or tablet.

This is a wonderful keyboard. My requirements in looking for a new keyboard were a) tactile, quiet (non-clicky) keys, b) a USB port on the right side, c) a comfortable yet durable wrist rest, and d) tasteful RGB. This thing delivers on all fronts, with the added bonus of having a really sleek silver (Real metal) design. The RGB is easy to use through the Logitech G Hub and is VERY customizable. The keys are very responsive and comfortable while not having an annoying click. I would strongly recommend!

    Lasts 1 Year

I purchased this device in April of 2019. It started well. The keys felt good and did not need much pressure to trigger. The keyboard feels premium. It's metal body has weight and gives it a sturdy and solid feel. I believe that's where the price comes from. Now, one year later, I am facing issues. The keyboard registers what I would call "phantom" actuations. As an example, I often type the word "the" and ever so often it will enter a "space" press. This happens about 3 out of every 20 times. The number "1" on the number row stops working randomly. The tab key will respond to one press with 2-3 registers. The most funny thing about this, though, is that these problem happened the same month my one year warranty expired. When it worked, it was great. However, having issues from a $150 "gaming"/mechanical keyboard after one year is disappointing, to say the least.

I thought it was a great keyboard, until the Control key cap broke off. I used the keyboard for normal computing tasks and a little bit of gaming. I wasn't rough on the keyboard, it's just not built that great. The Control key cap broke off in the socket. Logitech was nice enough to send another set of keys, but with the socket (part where the key plugs into) blocked, the keys are useless. You can see that the keycaps are held on with little (fragile) plastic clips. The keyboard barely lasted 2 years. For a $130 keyboard, in my mind, it should have lasted a lot longer. I've had cheaper keyboards that have lasted way longer. My apple keyboard for work is more than 6 years old and still works perfectly. As the unit is out of warranty, Logitech will not touch it. So off to the landfill it goes. This will be the last Logitech item I will buy. I recommend you go with another brand.

RGB lighting on keys are perfect. Logitech g software is great. Keys feel nice so typing and gaming is fantastic. Not much extra buttons on the keyboard so it’s compact enough to fit on smaller desks. Wrist rest is pretty supple and isn’t connected to the keyboard so again it’s not a big board. I’m glad it comes in silver and black. Downsides? Some of the g software RGB light show modes seem broken so certain keys stay one color while the rest change colors.

The build quality looks great on this board until you change the height then realize the board has a lot of flex in the middle it lacks media controls the wrist rest is really nice but not magnetic so it becomes a chore to reposition stuff when playing. The switches do not compare to the cherry MX brand. This board would be recommended if it was half the cost I don't think the price tag is justified at all.

I love this keyboard, the lights, the feel and while the software is a bit buggy to control the feature and lights, when it works its great. The wrist rest is so comfy and the extra included key caps for the main gaming buttons is a nice extra touch. I wish the material on top wasn't such a dust magnet so I wouldn't feel the need to clean it so much.

This keyboard is really nice. Have owned it for a few months now. Haven't had any issues with it. The keyboard is great. The metal frame gives it some weight and adds to the high quality feel. I purchased the silver version with the tactile Romer G switches. They feel good for typing and gaming and not too loud compared to the blue mx switch version. Backlight looks great as well. Once you download the Logitech software you can customize the keyboard in many ways. You can make any key light in any color you want. You can also switch the function row with the alternative functions , if you don't want to hit FN+ The f keys to adjust volume. You can disable the windows key as to not trigger it during gaming. It also looks nice, clean, and didn't scream gamer. It's simple and sleek. No excessive gamery aesthetics and lights. The wrist rest it's probably the best I've ever tried. Very comfortable and compliments the keyboard. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great key feel and the whole keyboard is solid as a rock. The new G hub software is an improvement but it's still confusing and way harder to use than it should be.

This is a sleek looking key bored but there was a lot of wobble in the keys. The space bar was pretty loose not sure if that is the case on all models or just the one I received. There was also an audible spring noise when clicking the keys. other then that the board is really nice. The wrist rest is one of the best I have ever seen, very plush and comfortable.

This keyboard really feels great not only playing games with but typing just about anything. There are nice varieties of RGB lighting, and more with the Logitech software. The switches feel great, and typing with this keyboard feels nice. The wrist rest is also very comfortable and makes typing feel even better. Overall an amazing keyboard..

This keyboard looks and feels great with a sturdy build quality and beautiful RGB lighting. The chassis of the keyboard is a gorgeous silver color which really stands out as the keys are raised away from the chassis to look as if they are floating. Would highly recommend this keyboard, it's my favorite I have ever used.

When I play video games at night the back lighting makes it very easy to see the keys. You can assign any color to any key, awesome for grouping like items. You can also choose to have certain keys not lit. The action of the keyboard is great and I love the weight of it as well. Best keyboard I ever bought.

This is an all around good keyboard. Do I game? Nope! I bought it because it looked cool and i do a lot of typing (for data). Two things that are not good are there no media controls (come one Logitech!). And the software is quirky and fonts are small. Strange.
