Lasted 13 months. Then the power LED went off, never to come back on. I could maybe fix them, I am an electronics engineer, but I have better things to do with my time. Anyway, so, maybe the extended warranty with this one. Other than that, the sound quality was really nice. Better speakers than most people will appreciate and enough volume to make me unpopular if other people are home. Convenient controls and headphone socket too. I used the optical input and had no background noise, though if you search on Reddit you'll find some people have white noise issues. So... extended warranty then.

I love these speakers for listening to music, watching a show or playing games in my office. The primary reason I bought them was to hook up an old PS2 to my LED monitor for playing retro games, and it works like a charm.
During the day I use them for listening to music while working. One thing I will say is they are not great for conference/video calls. Due to the lack of a tweeter when people speak on the other side of the call they sound hollow and overly low making them a bit difficult to hear clearly (at least for me). I always switch back to my laptop speakers for meetings.
Definitely fantastic value if you want to spend a bit more for 2.1 speakers for your office.

I own 5 (yes I said five) sets of these incredible speakers. They sound super nice for the price. I have a $5000 setup of home audio gear in my listening room (Aerial Acoustics speakers/Sonos AMP) and obviously these don't sound as good but for the price, these are IMHO the absolute best value in speakers whether you use them for computer gaming or just as your "on the cheap" whole home audio setup. I have my five sets hooked up to Google Chromecast Audio units and stream YouTube music throughout our entire downstairs. The house rocks pretty hard when we crank these up. Reason for 4 stars is reliability of the sub amp - I think they overheat too easily and they eventually die. I have replaced two subs over the years. Clearly a 5 star rating if it were not for long term reliability.

Hi, glad to see you're enjoying the great sounds of the Z625 Speaker System! One thing to note is that at higher listening volumes, the sub is going to heat up due to the increased sustained output which would indeed result in it either shutting off (to avoid shorting out), or with the unit ceasing function all together. However, you do have a 1 year limited warranty that comes with purchase: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024926314-Warranty-Powerful-THX-Sound. Hope that helps and continue to enjoy!

This thing rocks! It's more than loud enough. Great bass. The headphone output and auxiliary input on the desktop speaker are convenient. Plays auxiliary audio and audio from the regular computer inputs at the same time, so you won't miss audio notifications.

I bought this system to replace an aging Logitech sub/sat on our computer, which was augmented with a pair of Yamaha 5 inch powered studio monitors.
My wife and I are both musicians and frequently listen to music that we need to learn (guitar, drums and vocals), so it's critical that our system be able to reproduce sounds accurately and resolve subtle details.
I have been impressed by how closely this system comes to matching the audio we hear through our professional in-ear monitors.
While the THX certification does not necessarily guarantee a high-quality product, it at least requires that the product meet certain audio standards.
These speakers may never be mistaken for a high-end audiophile system, but they're not intended to be.
Satisfyingly low bass, tight, not boomy, with fluid mids and smooth, not screechy treble is what you get with this package.
I am not a gamer, so I can't speak to their performance in the gaming arena, but they have been well-behaved over a wide variety of music, from classical, to folk, to metal, and they work very well with vocals.
I also appreciate the convenient earphone and audio-in jacks located on the right hand speaker.
I find them to be an excellent value for the price and am happy with the purchacse.

These speakers are quite nice and produce a rich, powerful sound. Very good for gaming and music and a great investment in this price range. You could spend a lot more and get comparable, perhaps slightly better sound quality. This is a solid purchase. I have purchased a few of these systems. The only issue for me has been that the volume dial has gotten crackly after a few years. Otherwise would get full stars.

I bought these to replace a Z640 set of speakers I bought in 2004. Those are a 5.1 setup and I needed more desk space and I've had my eye on these for a while. I've always had success with Logitech products have been using them since 1997, so I'm loyal to the brand. I set these up using the optical connection from my SoundBlaster Z sound card. The bass is booming, so much so that I used the bass knob to adjust it down. As for audio quality, it's great for gaming, decent for music. If you're an audiophile, then this is not the set for you. If looking for a decent set of speakers with an optical connection, then consider this set.

Fantastic system all around. I was amazed by how the THX certifed satellites brought out the treble and mids. Not to mention the absolute THUMPER of a subwoofer you get. Straight up will shake your walls and get you noise complaints if you try to. The whole experience! 5/5

Excellent Sound, good bass and plays loud without distortion. Has adjustable bass control on the right speaker without having to go in the back of the subwoofer to adjust the bass volume. Volume control is also located on the right speaker with a headphone jack and aux jack. You can also add three different input to the back of the subwoofer for a TV, game console and an optical input also. You don't have to switch out the cables to be able to play the different added components. There is also an off/on switch.

For the money, I was surprised at the sound quality that comes out of this system. The highs are crisp, and the bass is low and deep. It will rattle the windows if I turn it up. I really enjoy this speaker setup.

Stop here for a moment: if you are an average Joe/Mary who wants just very good, fun (vocals-front) sound with decent bass and clarity for his/her PC or TV set up for a reasonable price - look further no more - you found it! Beware though, they look like poo.
Bought these after Edifier - S350DB 2.1 system and can't be happier!
$350 Edifiers, considering the price, should be far more superior than these ones. But almost total lack of mids (it's range where vocals are) makes them absolutely unlistenable, not fun, and you get tired from listening them very fast due to their sound signature.

I don't have the most discriminating ear with respect to music but these sound really great to me. I had a very old 5.1 surround sound system that I could not get to work with Windows 10 replaced them with this system. The sound from these is way better than the older speakers which sounded really great on Windows 7. I like having the headphone and aux jacks on the right speaker makes it way easier to use my headphones when I need to be quiet. I haven't played with the bass but without modification it seems just right for the music I have been listening to but looking forward to finding time to experiment.

It comes down to price v/ performance, and these puppies perform every bit as well as expected for the price and then some;
I can't complain at all about the fidelity. I can't tell the difference between these and my original 30w pre-CL Cambridge Soundworks, except these have much more power and crisper mids because of the extra bass. For the price, I don't expect an Equalizer or remote, but would have paid the price for a Blue-Tooth option without complaint, but they do what they were bought for and they do it better than expected. The AUX port helps as well
Pros: Sturdy, HI Fidelity, balanced and great bass, Aux port
Cons: Would have been worth having Blue-Tooth

This Logitech set is great as the audio system for multiple inputs and super loud when pushed.
I feed into the subwoofer a turntable through RCA, PC through optical, and smart assistant speaker through 1/8” headphone cable all without any funky hiss from all the lines wether passive or active.
Not an audiophile's elegant solution, but gets all the songs and sounds coming out of one unified set of speakers.

I bought this for my PS5 gaming setup, and it’s perfect. I love the effects that I hear and feel when I’m near environmental areas (i.e. waterfalls) because they sound perfect and crisp. The subwoofer even gives a good vibration effect, even on low volume levels. They are amazing for the price that I paid for them, I’m definitely more than impressed.

These sound absolutely fantastic. The bass is really crisp and not washed out at all. It seems most prefer headphones but for a desk setup these are great if you don't want to wear any. As an apartment renter I can't realistically have reliable desk placement between moves to bother with a 5.1 setup but these are almost as good. Playing FPS games or watching movies you feel the boom when something explodes or shoots. Music sounds great over them.

I did not believe a 2.1 channel system could sound so good, and do surround sound so well.
It's amazing. Better than my 7.1 Logitech system by far. I think the DTX support makes a pretty massive difference. It sounds as good, or better, than my LG C1's digital sound.
There's an optional bluetooth dongle. Buy it, because you'll probably want to use it someday and won't be able to find it.
