Customers are delighted by the high-quality build, responsive keys, and customizable RGB backlighting of the G513 Carbon keyboard. Many appreciate the comfortable wrist rest and the ease of use, finding the typing experience satisfying. While some users experienced minor issues with the software and the lack of dedicated media controls, the positive feedback on the keyboard's core features outweighs these concerns. The clicky switches are frequently praised for their satisfying feel.

Reallly nice keyboard, however after 4 months of use, I am having an issue with my L key where half the time I press it, it double types the character. Now I need to replace it. Otherwise, the wrist rest is also very comfortable as welll.

The G513 is a great keyboard for the price. The switches feel great, but may seem heavy to users new to mechanical keyboards (such as myself). The LEDs in the keys shine bright, and rarely show a color other than what’s on the software. 4 stars because the shift keys aren’t transparent, so if you don’t know what you are looking for when shift keying, you might have to search in dark environments, and the same problem with the media controls on top. The other reason is you must use the Logitech G Hub software. The software can be a pain sometimes, but often killing all the processes in Task Manager fixes it. Overall, great gaming keyboard, great feeling switches, and a great starting point for someone wanting a mechanical keyboard.

This is a great keyboard for everything. From gaming to browsing to working. The switches on my board are the gx blue click which are extremely loud but satisfying, luckily this board come in different switch flavors. One of the only things missing is the dedicated media buttons but once you get used the th FN key you don't really miss out.
I replaced the regular Abs keycaps with the HyperX PBT key caps (also sold at BB) and this keyboard is rock solid, there were only a couple of keys I wasn't able to replace due to logitechs irregular bottom row but its no biggie.
The RGB on this keyboard is fantastic. Logitechs Ghub app is a little buggy but does show a lot of promise and tons of RGB customization. From screen sampling (monitor lighting reaction) to a beach wave on you keyboard, it's really fun to mess with these effects.
This version also comes with a very premium wrist wrest and some gaming key caps and key cap puller.
Great board, grab it if you're on the fence. You won't regret it.
One of the best features of this board is its USB pass through it has built in. Zero performance issues on my g903 when using the pass through. It felt as if my mouse usb dongle was plugged directly into my pc.

Great Device That Enhances Typing Speeds

This keyboard has absolutely skyrocketed my typing speeds. I used to have a measly 30 WPM typing speed on my old plastic membrane keyboard. Ever since I moved over to this keyboard, I have never dipped below 70 WPM when testing out my typing speeds. This device is loud, but you either love or hate the feedback. Personally, I love it. If you want a quieter keyboard, Best Buy has those options. If you want feedback that you will hear and feel, than look no further than this device. It has not broken on me yet in my 3 years owning it, and I'm not expecting to break it in the foreseeable future.
You will feel far more comfortable typing on this device than on a typical membrane keyboard. I never get the "sinking wrist" feeling, I only feel as if my typing speeds are limited to my train of thought. No more being at the mercy of the keyboard!

RGB Gamer Keyboard

For gamers young and old, this is a great keyboard. This was purchased for my son who wanted the specific kind of keys on this keyboard - apparently blue switch clicky keys are good. I can’t speak to the value of the blue switches, but I can tell you the keys definitely are responsive and the clicks are fairly loud.
The other feature that he enjoys are the rgb lighting effects. I have to admit, they are pretty cool with different color settings and functionality (ripple effects, waves, etc).
He’s had this for a while now, and I still hear him talking about how good of a keyboard it is. That alone makes it a pretty great purchase.

Perfect Keyboard

I have tried several different keyboards before getting my hands on Logitech G513 GX blue switch keyboard. At first I was happy to see the responsiveness of it when I tried it at a Bestbuy store. I decided to get this with blue switches rather than the one with Romer G switches.
I am a software developer by profession so I spend several hours a day writing code with this keyboard. Initially when I started using it I wasn't comfortable with it as I felt it was too sensitive.
It took a while for me to get used to the keyboard but now I feel its perfect for me and I made a right choice in getting the blue switch keyboard.
In addition to the comfortable keystrokes , the wrist rest that is included with this keyboard is very helpful specially if you are using this for gaming or typing.
I would definitely recommend this keyboard for anyone in lookout for something comfortable and responsive.

Satisfying key clicks, beautiful and colorful key display, smooth keys, quick response, and simple USB plug-n-play! Does take up two USB slots, but I love this keyboard!

I grew up typing on and learning to code on an IBM model M back in the 1980s and have missed the sound and feeling of a good mechanical keyboard. This keyboard gives great audible and tactile feedback when pressing a key. It doesn't have the same sound (nothing does) as the old style model M but it does have a pleasant sound. The keyboard has enough weight to it that it provides a solid, stable foundation for typing and the included wrist rest if very comfortable. I own both of the other types of logitech Romer G switched keyboards (tactile and linear) and find this one to be the most appealing for me. I don't game much so I cannot say how great of a gaming keyboard this is or is not but if you're a programmer or a typist then this thing is fantastic.

This is a really good keyboard. It’s nice and clicky just the way I like it. The only downside I can see with this keyboard is that it doesn’t have any Macros on the side, but if that doesn’t matter to you then this a really great keyboard for the price. Also it comes with a wrist rest which is a great bonus in my opinion. Makes up for the loss of the Marcos. If you’re a parent looking to buy a keyboard for your kid don’t worry if the keyboard has the Macros or not most games don’t need them unless they are playing World of Warcraft or something of the sorts.

This keyboard is awesome. The brushed metal finish looks premium and the LEDs albeit subtle look premium with no ugly RGB bleed. The keyboard switches are very reaponsible and a great choice for those like Cherry Blues. The spacing between the keys is great and the feel is quite nice. The only real downfall of this keyboard is the lack od dedicated media keys or macros. However, there are media keys but just that they share with the FN key. The software allows for you to assign macros so it is possible. I don't use macros ever so this hasn't been a problem for me.

This is my third mechanical keyboard, and my favorite so far. The keys have a crisp tactile feel, and the brushed annodized aluminum case is gorgeous. The form factor is nice and compact, unlike some of the gaming keyboards out there.
There are plenty of customization options for the those who absoultely have to have some bling with their keyboards.
The ergonomic wrist rest is a nice added feature, and makes the hours spent in front of my computer much more pleasant.

Really like this keyboard. Purchased the g512 previously and loved the feel of it, the weight is nice and heavy, the feel of the clicks is very satisfying, albeit slightly noisy but for a mechanical keyboard still quieter than most. issue i had with that one was the key caps eventually broke off, decided to gamble with it again and got its slightly upgraded twin, the g513. exact same lay out with just upgraded switches, includes a comfortable wrist rest, which i normally am never a fan of but this one is actually comfortable.
this is paired up with g560 speakers, g703 lightspeed mouse, and g733 headset. the logitech app allows you to sync them all together with the RGB lights -- and some games even have custom variations of it that link up to the actual game (csgo for instance, near end of the round all the lights will start glowing red).

This is a well made sturdy keyboard. It's solid and got weight to it, so you don't have the issue of it sliding around. The keys have a nice feel and click to them. The removable wrist rest is of high quality and comfortable. Such a great keyboard for gaming. I bought this a few months ago and just purchased another in case a backup is needed; however, I suspect this keyboard will last quite a while.

I love mechanical keyboards. They feel relaxing to the touch. Many people who use this keyboard for either typing or gaming hate the loud clicky sound, but I love it since I feel that the keyboard is giving me the response that I actually pressed the button. For some reason that I do not know is that some keys sound different when you actually pay attention to pressing the keys closely. I may have been that some keys are used more that the other. As for the RGB lighting this keyboard has, it requires an app to be downloaded on your device for it to let you change its color settings. As for this keyboard, it is more stealthy looking, because the colors are not too much and are not too bright.

This keyboard is great for gaming. The response of the switch from each key press is a mental checkpoint. The software paired with the Logitech products is solid as well. I really like the custom RGB lighting, using mine for keys I'll often use in a game helps me re-register finger placement. As a student, the keyboard so far is good for assignments or web browsing. Sometimes loud due to the blue switches but I don't mind.

Excellent mechanical keyboard. Went from an Orion to Hunstman Elite and decided I wanted something with a more comfortable wrist rest so picked this bad boy up and couldn’t be happier. No dedicated media keys seemed like a downer but I just programmed F9-12 in the G Hub app and boom, now I have media keys.

I purchased this the same time I purchased the computer. The computer actually came with a quality wireless keyboard. My only wish was that this was wireless but overall this keyboard has the clicky sound and feel that I seek. The RGB is beautiful and it also has a full number pad that I prefer. Highly recommend!
