Our family made the move to Keurig a few years ago and haven't looked back. We love the variety of drinks that you can make and this Keurig takes that to an all new level. Y. The Keurig K-Café Special Edition allows you to froth milk to make a great tasting Latte or Cappuccino. One thing to be aware of though, especially if you have had other Keurig brewers in the past, is the Keurig K-Cafe does not come with the side reservoir water filter that was provided with earlier models. It is compatible although it must be purchased separately. If you're already using filtered water this may not be an issue but it would have been nice if it were included. Overall though, this is an exceptional upgrade from our earlier Keurig and I'm excited to try even more specialty beverages in the coming weeks.

Having used a few different Keurig machines over the years, I was curious what they could possibly do different or better to appeal to people who may not already own one (get yourself out of the cave you live in) or want to upgrade like myself. At first, I was a little concerned because this special edition model doesn’t have the digital screen with the clock and all the touch screen bells and whistles. After using it, I realized all the options that come along with the digital screen weren’t necessities and really only complicated simple, good coffee making. The previous digital screen was also one of the reasons for the upgrade because it seemed like it was about to go out; with this model I’ll hope to never have to worry about those issues. Now to the coffee itself and something else I was sceptical about; what could Keurig do to make my coffee taste any better. Well, somehow they figured that out and added great options to make lattes and cappuccinos, both iced and hot. The first simple cup of coffee I made I decided to try out the “Strong” button in a 10 oz cup. I had no idea that whatever they changed on their machine would make that much of a difference but it does. My coffee tasted amazing but was a little too strong for my wife’s taste; she chose the regular brew in a 12 oz cup and said it was more to her liking. The next day I wanted to test out the espresso option and make an iced latte. I went to the store hunting for espresso K-cups but unfortunately couldn’t find them so I settled for a bold tasting coffee to see if it would emulate espresso. I selected the “Latte & Capp” button and brewed a shot of coffee while the frother did it’s magic on my cold milk. After a few pumps of syrup, I poured the shot of dark coffee over some ice, added the cold frothed milk and voila, I had a perfectly crafted iced latte right in my own kitchen without the mess of espresso grounds and very little clean up. Needless to say, I have hung up my barista apron and retired both my espresso machine and old Keurig machine; they were both replaced by this one machine taking up much less counter space and I can already see money going back into my pocket making less trips to the over-priced coffee shops. Thank you Keurig for continuing to make a better product, one which produces a better tasting cup of coffee and additional options to play with and impress my better half.

As far as coffee and design go, I’m not easily impressed. The Keurig - K Cafe Special Edition won me over with the first cup. It’s a really beautiful machine that is very thoughtful in it’s function and use. That’s impressive design. Then there’s the important thing with a coffeemaker. The coffee. I tried a 12 oz cup to start. It was delicious and rich, at the right temperature. My next cup was a 6 ouncer with frothed milk. The frother is also beautiful and very easy to use (and clean!) It’s been moved into my office so I don’t have to suffer with big pots of awful office coffee!

I was looking to upgrade from my Keurig 525, and was considering transitioning to an espresso machine. I was thrilled to learn of the release of the K-Cafe, and loved what it had to offer. From the choice of regular coffees, lattes, and even cappuccinos, the K-Cafe seemed to have it all, complete with an on-hand milk frother. The K-Cafe is still compatible with any K-Cup which leaves you with a variety of coffees to choose from, as well non-coffee brews such as teas and hot-chocolate. The option for a shot and strength selection allows you to still get the same taste and effect as a concentrated shot of espresso, however you do have to find the correct combination between drink size and strength. The overall design is perfect. It's about the same size as my previous Keurig, if not smaller and lighter. In regards to the use, it's extremely easy, taking an average of 3 to 5 minutes to prepare a drink. For taste, the milk frother was better than expected, producing an excellent quality of steamed milk. The choice between the Latte or Cappuccino button also lets you choose the amount of froth you'd prefer for your drink. I am absolutely pleased with my purchase of the K-Cafe, and am happy to say I will no longer be forking over 10 bux every morning to my favorite coffee shop for an espresso drink. Pros : Quick and easy to use, Option to use any K-Cup, Quality Milk Frother, Shot Button for Espresso Cons: Heating time may be slow between brews, espresso concentration may be difficult to achieve depending on your preference of strength, lacks the screen interface from previous Keurig models

Keurig Latte maker is amazing! It makes all my drinks perfectly! I absolutely love it! This machine makes coffee, lattes, cappuccinos, shots, ice tea, and so much more. All I have to do is fill the water in the see through tank and lift the top to place my pod inside the machine. Then I press the size, the brew button, and it’s done! The Keurig does all the work for me. My favorite part is the milk frother, after my tea or coffee is made, I place the milk into the frother. The frother spins the milk around to make it fluffy then I pour it on top of my drink. It makes my drink rich and creamy. It is like having the coffee shop experience right in my own home. This is Keurig machine is very unique because it gives you more options for your favorite drinks, not just coffee alone. I can have drinks hot or cold. Easy and convenient to use. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Great product and easy to use. I drink my coffee black so I dont need the frothier but I do use it for other people and they love it. Works great I got it on the deal of the day for under $100 and would buy another one at that price.

So many great things about this machine. Love that you can select cup sizes in ounces as opposed to images of various cup sizes, and being able to make espresso shots has been great. The built-in milk frother has exceeded my expectations. The process to make a latte or cappuccino is incredibly simple, so much so that I’m drinking multiple lattes per day. I use this machine much more than I could have imagined. After having mine for a couple of weeks, I purchased another as a gift. They already owned a Keurig model but are now using the K-Café as their primary.

Ordered during 12 days of deals last week & arrived this afternoon (day earlier then expected). I've wanted one for awhile since prefer cappuccinos & lattes over simple coffee. However, price was little out of my budget. When they marked down to $99, decided it was time to invest. Seems to be very good quality machine. Had previously purchased a Matte Navy K-Select Black Friday (taking it back since replaced w/K-Cafe). Although was good machine for two weeks used, quality wasn't as good as this one. Made first Iced Latte after getting everything setup. Was just as had hoped it would be, wonderful!! Tasted like if purchased from coffee shop. Very easy to use, even if you aren't familar with Keurig. Be sure to follow instructions prior to running first cup. Watched YouTube videos over weekend re: reviews & get ideas on how to mix ingredients for best tasting cappuccino/lattes. Got some great examples to start off with. Milk Frother worked great. Again, this was first time to use. Hope no issue down the road, as I've read reviews where some have trouble w/Frother not working properly. Also heard this can be result of milk used, too. K-Cafe included 6ct Caribu Real Inspiration Espresso Roast K-Pods free, which was nice bonus. Used one for that first latte. Looking forward to make many more drinks w/my new K-Cafe. This is a great coffee maker! It's only 12 x 12 so it doesn't take up much counter space. The frother works great and the coffee is hot! You can make cold drinks with it too but I haven't tried it yet. I just don't understand why I don't see this model advertised much. The booklet that came with the machine said 5 boxes of coffee at 50% off, had to call Keurig for the 50% coupon code which wasn't a problem.

Fantastic little machine. At first I thought the frother was broken because there's often a delay in its starting up when I turn the entire machine on in the morning but I soon realized it's meant to take a minute to "warm up". The coffee also takes a minute but if you don't need it instantaneous like the new machines then this is a fantastic option. I especially love the HOT froth option.

I'm not a coffee snob so my review probably doesn't matter to you if you are. Like others have said, the latte portion doesn't heat up the milk to hot, but that's fine for me, I don't like it pipping hot. I like that the swirly portion is magnetic, it makes it easy to clean. Looks very stylish on my counter top

Works perfectly making my latte. Frother also works great. I bought it on sale for $149 plus tax. I think its worth the money. Easy to clean. The ony thing i don't like is that you can not pick what size under latte. Only one size. You have to choose coffee button to get different sizes. Other than that, its perfect for a family coffee maker.

Love this coffee maker. It is easy to use, makes great coffee and will make a variety of drinks. Can't get much better than that. I like is so much I have two of them (one in each home).

The greatest present I've purchased for someone in a long while! Easy, reliable, and consistent frothy coffee making. No hassle! The Keurig K-Cafe has replaced the receiver's need to go to a coffee shop at all. Their daily life has become 5-10% better! Completely worth the price!

This coffee machine is incredible, we've had Keurig for years and this coffee seems to taste better. The milk frother is worth the money if love capps and lattes, the only gripe I have is you can't see the levels for milk inside the frother. But overall a great machine.

This thing is a perfect buy for the coffee connoisseur. I purchased this on sale and it's been a very great addition and replacement of my single cup machine. Now I don't have to spend so much money on those Starbuck lattes.
