I'm a floor guy. I like my carpets clean, my floors shiny and my yard mowed. So - vacuuming is a bit of an obsession of mine. I had a chance to try out the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo bagless upright in my own home. Here what I think. PROS: -Easy assembly -Good suction -Easy to access power and brush switch -LED Lighting for those dark areas - and even on the crevice tool! -Ample cord length CONS: -No location for the upholstery attachment on vacuum -When using the wand and attachments, the hose is so tight the vacuum kept falling over - so I had to hold it with my hand -Dust/dirt tank seems clumsy to reattach to base - maybe just takes getting used to but for multiple people, the first several times a few attempts were required OVERALL: Nice, powerful, light. Cleaned carpets and floors well. Easy access to filters for cleaning and maintenance. Dirt bin empties easily and is washable - like the filters.

BISSELL - Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Bagless Upright Vacuum was very easy to assemble. It came with nicely packaged and various add-on tools Dusting brush, wand, motorized brush and LED lighted crevice tool. We have tried many of the vacuum brands and there were certain things we didn't like about it. We bought this vacuum and used it for more than 2 weeks now. It outperforms other vacuums by far. With the other vacuums the brushes were always getting filed with hair from our dog and my wife / daughter's long hair, and we always had to reach inside the canister to pull out debris. In Pet Hair Eraser, nothing on the brush and the canister empties out perfectly. It makes our carpet look beautiful when we are done. It is easy to maneuver and suck out all debris really well. We can't say enough good about this vacuum. I have tried in carpet, hard floors and it works really great. This vacuum comes with bagless technology and no bags to buy or replace. Creative tool and dusting brush are really good add-ons which allow you to clean tight spaces, stairs and flat surfaces. It has 0.2-gallon dust cup and holds lot of dirt, so you can empty it less. It has motorized brush for tough tasks and lifts stubborn pet hair and ground-in dirt from surfaces while powerful suction carries it away. It has strong suction power from start to finish and Cyclonic technology separates dirt from the air, preventing it from clogging filters and ensuring consistently strong suction power. The 30" cord enables you to clean a large area before needing to change outlets. The Wand for cleaning above the floor extends to clean ceiling fans and other hard-to-reach places. With a 120V motor, you can achieve reliable suction and helps you keep your home clean. If you have pets, please don't look back and buy this vacuum.

    New, improved model

I've had an older Bissell Pet Hair Eraser upright vacuum for a couple of years now and really like it. So we decided to get this newest model for using upstairs. I think the "Pet Hair Eraser" designs are really good, and they've made some nice improvements in this model. I really like that you no longer have to turn a switch on the side when going from floor to handle vacuuming. Now you can easily pull the handle out to clean some tight spots then go back to floor vacuuming with no fumbling around. I also like that they've combined the dusting brush and the grippy nubs into one tool (no more having to flip the tool around to use one or the other). They made the brush longer and narrow rather than round which makes it a lot easier to get into tight spaces to clean. The tank is easier to empty now, too. It's more of a simple cylinder design without any smaller side tanks so the debris tends to fall out more cleanly. It's also easy to twist and remove the cyclone thing in the center to remove any hair that doesn't fall out. The fill line on the tank is kind of funny, though. If your house is like mine, 95% of the debris is pet hair and it doesn't sit in the bottom of the tank--it swirls around and fills up the top first. (Picture attached) But you can still use common sense and know when the tank needs to be emptied. Overall, this is a nice, cost-effective vacuum for getting the job done. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver and carry around, and does a great job picking up cat hair.

    An Upright With Multiple Personalities.

BISSELL® Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus - We struggle to decide whether to get a canister, or upright, or stick vacuum. This Bissell has multiple personalities. It’s definitely a well designed upright, but it can act like both a canister or stick vac because of its thoughtful engineering. That upper stretch hose (5’ plus the tool length) that runs along the back of the wand can be attached to a (lighted LED) crevice tool, a powered hand-held “Pet TurboEraser” tool, or a small pet brush. We can also add the quick-release extension wand to reach greater heights. USABILITY: Setup was very easy, but we needed some double-takes on how the stretch hose connects to the dust bin. You DO need to release the dust bin to slide the hose onto the bracket. The Bissell has powerful suction, good maneuverability, and has manageable weight. Ironically, the high suction from the powerful motor works against you, especially on carpets. We’re working against both the weight of the Bissell as well as the suction force. Whew. Reducing the suction with the control on the handle certainly helps. Bissell has designed the powered head to reduce the wrapping of pet/human hair around the brush roll. We had no issues. The attachments are all very useful, easy to attach and well designed. The only complaint has to do with Bissell’s failure to put a lock on the wheels (or maybe an anchor?. . . kidding.). When using the stretch hose, the entire vac wants to move with the hose, as we use the attachments. This detracts from an otherwise great feature. Emptying the dust bin is a simple release that drops the bottom plate out of the way and allows the dust to fall without my assistance. (It was a bit balky for the first few uses, but it got reliable quickly.) Bissell provides a Febreeze Filter that you can insert ahead of the motor. We’re saving it for an odor crisis. Measured sound level (uncalibrated iPhone) was 75db without powered head, 80db with. And, the pitch was low, so it wasn’t terribly irritating. The lengthy cord is NOT a powered rewind, but the cord wrap posts are convenient. SUMMARY: This is a likable upright vacuum that makes the decision about what type of vac to buy much easier. Bissell has evolved the design with nice features to solve lots of cleaning problems and gives this version of the upright multiple personalities. We liked it.

I have several indoor cats, so whenever I get the chance to test a new vacuum that touts its 'pet hair erasing' capabilities, I usually take it. Assembly of this unit took just a few minutes, and then I was ready to try it out. For its size, this vacuum is fairly light and maneuverable, and it definitely doesn't disappoint on suction; I was quite surprised at the amount of hair that was pulled up from the first carpet I vacuumed since I had just vacuumed it the day before. I found the ability to control the amount of suction via the thumb control was a huge plus when transitioning from thick carpet to low-pile carpet or thinner area rugs. I actually had to return a Dyson vacuum once because there was no way to lessen the suction, so it was impossible to use it on some of the carpet in my house because the brush motor was overheating. After a few weeks of use, I'm still impressed by the suction this vacuum produces. It seems to pick up quite a bit more fur than my other vacuum, and so far, the brushes have remained free of hair/fur. To be honest, that was never a huge problem with the previous vacuum, but I would occasionally have to remove a few tangles. Removing, dumping, and replacing the dust-bin is very simple (as it should be), and there's a replaceable scented filter that adds to the 'clean smell' as you're cleaning. One of the first things that caught me off guard was that the power/brush switches aren't located on the handle, but instead are on a panel right above the dust-bin. The reason for that placement is because the handle detaches for cleaning areas above the floor, such as furniture. Using the vacuum in 'wand' mode is simple enough, and the included pet brush attachment does a great job of cleaning furniture, but the accordion hose sometimes feels like it's fighting against the wand. This will hopefully decrease as the wand is used more, but it's not a big problem if it doesn't. Overall, I'm very pleased with this vacuum and if you've got some pets in your home, you should definitely give this unit a serious look.

The BISSELL - Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Bagless Upright Vacuum - Grapevine Purple/Electric Green/Black is a powerful and versatile vacuum perfect for the pet lover's home. When testing this vacuum out, I first ran my other vacuum throughout the house to see how well this one would do... honestly, I wasn't expecting too much from it as we are happy with out other vacuum. To my surprise, this Bissell worked overtime and picked up everything that out other vacuum had left behind!! See pictures! Useful attachments made cleaning pet hair from the furnature and in the corners a breeze. PROS - Powerful - Deep-cleaning (gets what the others leave behind) - Works for pet hair/dander as well as dirty, grit, and sand!! - Easy setup/installation - Pivot base makes moving throughout the room and around furnature easy - Febreeze filter helps eliminate oders from the vacuum and air - Bagless - LED lighting on base and on crevase tool are a nice touch - Long cord allows for whole room cleaning without finding a closer power outlet CONS - I find the placement of the power cord frustrating as I stepped on it many times while vacuuming. Should have been placed higher on the body. - While the extension and tools are nice, I found the hosing to be short for my needs. Would have been nice to have more reach. - There is no place to store the "powered" head attachment as it is a bit bulky. Concerned that this will just sit in a closet or drawer rather than be used like it should be.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Plus (long name I know!) has been a great vacuum with a ton of features and accessories. I have been testing mine out for that last two days and it seems to always pick up more dirt than I thought possible from my carpets. My carpets are about 15 years old, but still in decent shape from dealing with kids and dogs over the years. It’s a low pile carpet and the Bissell handles it like a champ. Suction power is outstanding, and I am very impressed with it. I am not sure what the CFM is, but it does feel stronger than my old trusty Dyson upright that has been in service for 6 years. The amount of attachments is a very welcome addition. The lighted crevice tool is very unique and helpful. I can’t believe I have never seen this before. Now I can see what I am going to suck up when I stick the crevice tool into a dark corner. The motorized hand tool works great on the couch where my dogs like to sleep and also on the stairs. It pulls up the hair and dirt with ease. There is also a Febreze deorderizer filter that is included, and I don’t feel that my house stinks, it sure does smell better after a good vacuuming now though. The dust bin is a good size and I am easily able to do my whole 2400 sq. ft. house with out having to empty it. Emptying the dust bin is easy and the dirt and hair just falls out. The 30 foot cord is great to have as well. Also included is a full 5 year warranty so you can purchase this and not have to worry about it for years. Their customer service is fantastic. I have had to deal with them with other Bissell products and they are responsive and helpful. They sent out a replacement for a broken spot carpet cleaner that arrived in two days. As a bonus, Bissell also donates $10 to their pet foundation that rescues pets for every vacuum that they sell.

We've had dogs that shed for as long as I can remember. Everyday dirt and dust, fall leaves, long people hair, it all gets collected by the Bissell Bag-less Turbo. First, the setup was easy. The hose twist in easily as does the long wand handle. I gave it a spin on both my kitchen floor (ceramic tile) and my adjoining room rugs. Easy to maneuver and picked up debris as expected. Here are the features I noticed and love: * Large back wheels make rolling it around from room to room easy * Fairly light, handle makes it easy to carry up/down stairs * Beater-bar/ brush stayed cleaner than most other vacs I've had * Comes with a crevice tool with built in LED light (button battery powered). small standard brush and 5-inch pet hair beater bar brush * Sliding vent selector on the handle of the wand hand tool for drapes and other fabrics * Removable vac wand makes corner of the ceiling spider-web cleaning easy, goes from floor to hose use in a snap! * Turn over the vac and the small hose from the main floor brush twists out easily so you can remove any jammed items * So does the main hose from the wand to the vac tank * Floor beater bar stops when the vac is parked in the upright position whether to pause while cleaning or when using the wand. * Separate motor brush on /off switch easily reached from the top of tank * Beater bar gets under most furniture pieces, wide enough to get done faster yet not too wide to require moving most furniture * Tank is easily removed with a touch of a button on the top of the canister * This makes emptying the 'bag' canister easy too * Did a great job on carpeting!

Our family has a black lab and as any lab owner knows, their hair gets everywhere. This Bissell vacuum does an excellent job cleaning her hair up and taking care of all our vacuuming needs! PROS: - Out of the box it's really easy to assemble and use, I mean it's a vacuum so it's not to complicated. - It's not too big or heavy but it's still a good size for a plug in vacuum, and it looks very nice! - Call me old fashion, but I like a plug in vacuum more than wireless. It just gives more consistent power and cleans better for longer periods. - The spindle on the main vacuum and smaller attachment do a great job of knocking up dust/dirt/hair from the carpet to suck up more - It works well! I was very impressed with how much it sucks up and leaves everything looking great - The bagless design is a lot easier to use and it comes with Febreeze filters to help with any smells CONS: - I don't think it does well on stairs. It's just not small enough for that and although the attachments work well, it does not have a great reach while carrying it on stairs - The hose for attachments is nice but it could be longer

This vacuum is excellent at picking up pet hair, and is easy to clean. The only downside I’ve experienced, is probably pretty common for canister vacuums. The canister, when emptied, does sometimes put dust/debris into the air.

So to start it looks rather nice in my place. We got this vacuum for our place outside of the city. Lots more dust lingers so we thought we’d give Bissel a try. I was wary because their dust canisters have broken at the clip area. We love this vacuum. It is petite and it’s easy to put away but very powerful with its suction. The other model we had was built like this one with a suction control switch. This model is really neat because the suction control is a sliding switch on the handle. The rug pictured below is also new and it came with heaps of dust. Within minutes the Bissel Turbo has filled itself with lots of goodies (dust) for me to empty. This was really my test for me. I knew I had to wait and set this rug up when I got this vacuum and I’m glad I did. For me the accessories still strike me as cheaply made and I’m not a fan of the fact that there isn’t anything to secure them in place and instead just slide on and off. The previous eraser fell off constantly. Otherwise this is going to really come in handy in the country with three dogs and lots of Texas dust flying around.

So this would be my 3rd vacuum that I have purchased within the past 3 years. I purchased a Dyson V-7 and liked it but didn't love it due to it not really sucking up very well unless I used the booster and with the size of my home, that lasted for 10 mins. After about a year, it started shutting off on me. I ended up just going to Walmaet and purchasing $50 Bissell. Now, don't get me wrong, it did it's job but I felt like it wasn't sucking up as much as I would like. I ended up seeing this Bisssell on QVC and thought that it had nice features and might be worth purchasing. After the Dyson situation, I couldn't see myself spending over $200 for another vacuum. I seen where Best Buy had it on sale with a huge discount and jumped on it. I'm so glad that I did!! It's very light weight, the Febreeze filter smells delightful and the suction is amazing. I've never has a vacuum suck up dirt the way this one does. I was almost ashamed to see what all was being pulled up out of my carpet. One of the other features that is pretty nice, is the fact that the hose is built into the handle. You never have to worry about it coming off while your vacuuming or having it be in the way. It's an amazing feature! Although I didn't have the best of luck with my Bissell carpet cleaner, I must say that this vacuum has reassured me that I made the best decision by purchasing this product. I will definitely purchased another one in the future.

Well...so much to say. This Vacuum is awesome...I did a lot research on vacuums like it was a hobby...this affordable powerful unit does so much for keeping pet hair down. I have a Bassett Hound and a large Golden Retriever...the wife has terrible allergies to the hair of both dogs...this vacuum did wonders over getting the pet hair that our old vacuum left. The turbo had attachment is great too! Way more powerful than I expected it to be...our carpets and furniture have never been cleaner! Would definitely recommend and the price is slightly more than regular powered vacuums but it is absolutely worth it...and the price is not bad on top of that.

This vacuum has been a life saver. I just recently moved into a new place (my old one was all hardwood) and for the first time in years I needed a vacuum that could handle pet hair, a lot of pet hair. I tried a few other models from different manufactures and none of them could handle the pet hair. Some of them were even more expesive then this model. I can't stress enough how much I love this unit. If you have a pet this is the vacuum for you.

Okay, a pandemic is just starting and my Hoover stops working. No repair places so I decided to get another vacuum cleaner. Best Buy was by appointment only. Did a little research and walked out with the Bissell Pet Hair Eraser. Love. Easy to use. As for the Hoover (well finally figured out what the issue was -- nothing serious so now I have 2 vacuums. The Bissell is lighter and easier to use on stairs.

I wanted something lighter and cheaper than my 18 year old Dyson and purchased this after a bit of research. I love that it fits under my kitchen cabinets right to the toe kick, between the legs of my side tables, and enough under my sofa to reach all of the area rug. The swivel took some getting used to but I love it’s mobility now. The light is wonderful and usefully points out the dust in those dark corners. It has great suction sometimes too much on thin area carpet but there is an adjustment for that. If there is anything to complain about (and this is being really picky) it is the cord. It is a bit shorter than I am used to and because I pick up and carry the cord in my left hand it is a bit of a reach to get it from the right side of the vacuum.

I had another version of a pet hair eraser vacuum that was fairly brand new. Unfortunately, the belt snapped and, due to the current economic situation, I could not find a replacement belt for my vacuum them which I like. So, I purchased this one in its place. I was planning on using it until I was able to get another belt for my other vacuum (since I was happy with the 1st vacuum, I still planned on keeping it and, maybe giving this vacuum away to a family member, or maybe selling it). Change of plans! This vacuum, it gets everywhere the other vacuum doesn't. It's lighter, the tools are more accessible, the brushes glide more easily over both my hardwood floors and deep, piled carpet (previous vacuum was a struggle to get over even though it worked well), From the lightweight frame, detachable canister vacuum for extended tool use beyond reach of the cord, ability to turn the brushes on and off, super flexible Dyson-like ball hinge, to the LED lights on the attachments so you can see what you are vacuuming, and everything in between; I'm never giving this up! I absolutely love this vacuum and would recommend it for sure. Great value for the price.
