This vacuum sucks. Which is good because my old one didn't. All kidding aside, this was on sale when I bought it and I usually go cheap with things like my vacuums, but this unit is a good value. It's great in rugs, and feels capable, the pet hair attachment is also pretty good for things like cleaning couches when you pull the cushions off it. The auto retractable cord is great, the febreeze air filter does make the place smell good. A side note, if you are limited on storage space, the arm/handle is not removable after installing like on less capable units. You will be closeting the unit as shown in the pictures.

Great suction and useful attachments. The only reason I gave it a 4 and not a 5 is because I like to vacuum my tile, since you can’t turn off the brush, it sends dirt flying. Works amazing in carpet and pet hair.

This vacuum cleaner is light weight, easy to use and cleans as advertised. I'd give it five stars if the suction hose was longer. We live in rural Texas with huge quantities of dust. We also have four dogs who live indoors with us. Dog hair and dust all over three Persian Carpets and furniture. We tried a Dyson but it began having problems after 3 months. The Bissell works. Clean carpets and a powerful suction hose (that could be 12" longer) to dust with. So far it's great.

This is such an improvement from the last one. Soooooo much quieter, simpler to clean (1 really big filter accessible through one single latch), retractable cord. Now to be clear about this, its a cheaper household vacuum so its absolutely going to be noisy. But the noise this makes is so much less than the last one made, that I don't wait until nobody else is home to vacuum. My dogs do seem to be more scared of this one. The retractable cord is under tension so you do still need to hold the cord as you push the switch to unlock it so it doesn't tangle up inside the machine or snap back and hit somebody/something. The places that the attachments are stored on the vacuum don't make a lot of sense, so I've just been keeping them off to the side on a shelf. Agitator bar doesn't stop spinning when you stand it up to use the corner tool but it does lift off the carpet so it isn't spinning in place and wearing the carpet down. I've got very low pile carpet so its even less of an issue.

Bought this on sale for about 100 bucks, and for that price, it's great. Very easy to assemble, easy to empty out, and it doesn't appear to struggle with picking anything up yet. I didn't notice when I bought it that it's one of those "giant rollerball" kind of vacuums, so it's very maneuverable--that was a nice surprise. But it's lightweight and very plasticy. The light weight is great, as it makes it easy to maneuver and easy to move up and down the stairs. The plasticky...eh, not so much. My last vacuum--a Eureka--was more solidly built and lasted almost a decade; but then, it cost a lot more. I don't expect this one to last as long. Good selection of tools, that all store on the machine. Well, almost all. I can't figure out how to attach the pet wand thing to the vacuum. Plus, there's an extra storage point on the vacuum that I don't have a tool for. So that's weird. At it's regular price, I think it's worth spending a bit more for something more robust. But if you can get it on sale--especially for around $100--it's a great deal.

Easy to use and the handheld attachments make it easy to get in to nooks and crannies. The ability to adjust suction power over different surfaces significantly reduces the number of times in a week when the house has to be cleaned

Been doing it’s job since it was purchased. Never had an issue with it. Although it’s a bit heavy to move around, it’s a great vacuum. One of the best brands out there.

Okay, so we got this just before all the quarantine stuff struck and so have been using it for a few months now. Right off the bat -- this model knocked our socks off. Used it on our son's bedroom, and boy did it ever pick up some dirt. We bought it replace an older vacuum which we thought was doing an "ok" job. But the difference was night-and-day on the carpet. If you have pets, this one works just as well as the Dyson Animal we used for years and a lower cost. The push button cord retract feature is useful, and overall the tools and design (how well it maneuvers around furniture, etc) are solid. It's lightweight enough for my wife to use it on the stairs if she wants to. Very pleased with this Bissell purchase.

Excellent product!!! This is by far the best Bissell Vacuum I've purchased. Works great with pet hair and it is light and easy to manage. I give it five stars without any doubt

I had the other vacuum for 5 years (Bissell Model No 1646 PowerGlide® Pet Vacuum With SuctionChannel Technology®) honestly nothing was wrong with it I just decided to upgrade. I love this one!!! Cleaning it out is a MILLION times easier and CLEANER!! No more having to stick my hands I it to clean it out. And I’m kinda a clean freak even with my vacuums and will try to give them a good clean. My old one was so complicated and hard to clean out. (Philip skrew head had to be used and all the chamber compartments were so hard to reach) but this one is powerful and the swivel movements are so nice! AND THE RETRACTABLE CORD!!! Amazing! No more ugly cords showing! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!

This is a vacume with a good powerful suction and easy to maneuver around furniture

I don’t like vacuuming this vacuum though it’s easy to use it’s lightweight it swivels so it makes it easy to get around furniture and under the bed and the cord rolls up but just the touch of a button.

it's good for what it's worth! worked well for a couple years. wouldn't recommend with more than 3 animals in the house.

Our old Dyson vacuum suddenly gave out on us and we needed a replacement right away. Getting another Dyson will cost us a lot until we came across this BISSELL CleanView Upright Vacuum.'' The price was a lot less expensive than a Dyson vacuum and based on the reviews from other owners, I decided to just try this instead. It was so easy to assemble, there are just 2 screws that needed to be put into and voila! it is ready for use. The VACUUM itself is not so heavy BUT when you start to vacuum, a little effort is needed to push this forward especially in carpeted areas. I don't know if this is just because there's a lot of dirt that needs to be vacuumed from the floor or maybe, it works to vacuum deeper than our old vaccums. The good things are; 1. The cord is easier to coil now and stores inside the vacuum below the canister. This is a nice perk as it is usually tiring to coil it manually after vacuuming the whole house 2. The canister is indeed "clearview". Even my son said that he easily sees the vacuumed dirt even from a distance. 3. There are controls that just needs to be pushed using the foot to keep this going. The ON/OFF red switch and the gray switch (that is beside the red one) to tilt the vacuum. 4. There's also a no-brainer switch in the canister to take out the dirt straight into the trash bin. (Just be careful though of dust as it empties straight into the bin) 5. A very nice perk is the inclusion of a Febreze filter (other that the usual black one included on the package). We've never had this type of fragrant filter on our old vacuums. First use, it gives off the freshener smell on every swipe on the floor. (I am still researching if this needs to be replaced, how often and where to get the refills.) This is just a review right after the very first use. And I am totally satisfied. For the price, the extra perks (cord coil storage, febreze filter, strong suction power), I would gladly recommend this to anyone wanting a replacement vacuum that can be as powerful than the expensive ones in the market right now,

The suction is very good, but that is the case with most new vacuums. What I mostly like is that it is lightweight and easy to maneuver into small spaces. It’s also easy to clean.
