This blender is incredible. You don't realize what you are missing with a conventional blender until you use this Ninja blender. Amazed how it chews through ice with no hesitation. Try that with your run of the mill blender. You cannot do it. The look and feel says quality. The unit has a powerful motor but the suction feet make sure it doesn't walk on your counter. The blending action eats through frozen fruit leaving no lumps of fruit. The preset settings is a great feature. The touch screen is clean and the buttons are responsive. No raised buttons. An easy to use push panel of buttons is a great design. The big 72oz unit is ideal if using for family gatherings or for larger needs. The fresh vac feature is incredible. It gives a better taste. It is a cool feature. The fresh vac pump is run by AA batteries. You can buy an adapter and avoid batteries. I opted for batteries and it works fine. Ninja supplies the batteries! The fresh vac feature clearly reduces foam up while also adding quality to the taste. The 20oz cup gets the most use because it is enough for both my wife and I to share. Comes with 2 20oz cups. The unit cleans up nicely both by hand washing and dishwasher. Ninja has made another nice product here. It is a tad loud, but that is not a complaint just an observation. I have no complaints. This is a must buy if you are in the market for these types of products. Ninja is quality. I trust this unit will be in our house for many years.

This blender works great and the freshvac is not a gimmick. It makes super smooth smoothies and it is easy to use.

I typically use for making frozen smoothies, which bogged down my old blender. The spiral-type blade works much better than the traditional blades at the bottom of the carafe. The suction cup bottom keeps it secured to my counter during blending. I like having the choice between the large carafe and the individual servings. The touch buttons means no icky mess to clean off the side of push buttons. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

Use the ninja everyday. Bought for smoothies and use it for so much more would definitely buy again.

Looks good on my new kitchen 2. The Jar is BPA free plastic and not glass. Some people complain about it, but i have broken 2 glass ones, i am OK with plastic 3. powerful, can crush ice and make good smoothies 4. Touchscreen, no mess and its waterproof. Cons ---- 1. When using the fresh vac, i have to remember to release vacuum to open the Jar 2. Multiple blades, is it truly functional or hype? It is difficult to clean The Review ---------- I have a blendtec blender for some reason when i shake the motor, i feel some part is loose as i could hear something inside as if a coin got stuck. Hence i had to send it for repairs. As a temporary replacement, i got this. One important thing to note is that the motor which this one comes with is 1400 Watts as compared to the regular ninja blender which is 1000 Watt. So it is 1.4 times more powerful. The Blender has 7 Auto-iQ modes - 72 oz Jar (smoothie, Puree, frozen drink and ice cream) & 20 oz Jar (smoothie, frozen drink and extract). it also has 3 manual modes - Low, High and Pulse. I typically use the smoothie mode or the high mode and run it for a duration i would like to. I have to say that the smoothies made of ice, blueberry and strawberries came out fairly smooth. If not as smooth as the blendtec, i was very satisfied. I think the construction is also more sophisticated than the blentec and love the way the jar/pitcher locks in place with the blender motor. I also like the lid better than the blendtec. its looks like of very good quality. The touchscreen is waterproof and its a smooth surface and hence, cleaning is easier. Lets talk about the FreshVac gadget that you get with it. It uses 4 AA batteries which comes with the blender. It is primarily used for smoothies when you want to avoid the frosting on the smoothie. I am not big into smoothies but i tried it and works as advertised. I cook a lot of Indian food, we need to make batter with rice and pulses for an Indian dish called "dosa" and the batter came out to be very smooth almost same as what my blendtec would do. given the fact that the motor is 1400 watts as compared to 1500 Watt blendtec motor. Noise wise, i think it matches the blentec, not too loud but again, its a blender, i think the noise is proportional to blending power so i do not expect it to be quiet. Overall, i am satisfied with the blender and i will recommend it.

Purchased this a while ago. Only used it a few times but the color differentiation Of my food between my old Ninja blender and this one is dramatically different. The colors of my foods are richer and more vibrant. I can’t comment on the taste or nutrient difference because I honestly can’t tell. But the visual color difference definitely makes you feel like it’s healthier :). As far as blending it’s works about the same as my old Ninja. It’s works for all of my smoothies and sauces just fine.
