I would give 5 stars, but I REALLY struggled at the beginning to get it to stay in place, it's still a bit wonky sometimes.

Got this as a gift for my husband, he’s a voice actor, and he loves it, it’s the perfect size to go on back of his desk and over his monitor. The only reason I’m giving this a 4 star is because I purchased this and had to go back to store because it was the wrong item. I asked an employee for this item and the box he handed me looked very similar to this item but wasn’t. I guess it’s partially my fault for not investigating the box further. Over all though it’s a great product!

Getting Your Yeti Off The Table

Many microphones today come with a table stand out of the box, but at times this makes it a pain for you to be heard in conversations on such applications as Discord. The best way to fix the problem is to get the microphone closer to your mouth with a mic stand. Blue Compass offers this microphone stand for their Yeti line of microphones and it's fairly decent, but I know there are better options. I do not suggest you purchase this stand if you have a Yeti Nano as it is not heavy enough to weigh the arm down; it will continue to stretch out and lose the position you create. Other than that this microphone is pretty standard, but the price is not--as you can see. When it comes to this stand nothing stands out, and to that, I say go-fish.

My son's Christmas was made! Great boom stand for streaming. Needs some tension adjustment for lighter mics. Would have been nicer if the shock mount was included.

This looks nice and seems to have nice build quality, but the tension on it is way way too much unless you're using an extremely heavy mic. Skip on this one unless you know you are using a very heavy XLR mic

Works great with all Blue mics - have both a Blue Yeti Blackout and the Spark Blackout XL. The Blue Yeti attaches directly while the Spark has an anti-vibration attachment that it came with that attaches.
As someone who was skeptical on if this was necessary, I can say I noticed an improvement in sound quality immediately once I got my mic off my desk and in the air. Also of note, I do use software noise filtering, but now that it's on this stand, it 100% removes mechanical keyboard noise as opposed to maybe 50% before.
Build quality is superb. Bends in three distinct places, easy to attach to my desk, easy to adjust, stays adjusted without moving over time, and very easy to move back and forth out of my way when not in use. It's pricey, but I'd say the quality is worth the money.

I like it. It does what it says but a bit unwieldy at first trying to figure out how to best position it. Once in place though it works fine.

Pretty good, fairly cheap, but it isnt junk. It's pretty solid. It's not my Rode Microphone Stand but then again it wasn't nearly the coin!

Works really well, but ONLY if you have a blue microphone and the the blue shock mount. This is because both the microphone and shock mount are really heavy and counterbalance the extremely stiff springs. Without it, there’s really no way to get the springs to stay without raising up, even with adjusting the spring tension screw.

The build quality surpasses the ones you see on amazon for 14$. I ended up having an issue that Blue refunded me my money. After the return policy is when I got around to opening it and had the problem that the tension was set toooooo high and I couldn't adjust it enough without the screw becoming undone. I tried getting them to replace it but they wouldnt because of stock they said. I plan to get another one and check the tension prior to leaving store.

Great arm. Don’t overtighten the adjustment. This arm works best with the first segment at 90 degrees to the base. I have it straightened out coming under my monitor with the mic close to my mouth.

It works fine but there are a few things that would make it better. My biggest issue with this product is that it does not work well with a mic as light as my hyperx quadcast. I cant quiet keep it as low as i want because the arm lifts it higher even with the weight screw loosened all the way.

The product has a overall nice design and works well with mic installation, however the problem I came across was at the one of the joints, when tightened the pressed in bolt came unpressed and separated from the plastic tension and fell apart.

What I like most about this mic arm is how sleek it looks. The cable management is superb. It may take some patience and multiple arrangements to find what may work with your desired set up. I recommend seeing this in store or watch online reviews before buying/deciding on this particular mic arm.

I purchased this boom arm for my hyperx quadcast hopeing for a great boom arm over my cheap 25 dollar one, upon taking it out the build quality is great but once set up i soon realized after torqueing the tensioners as hard as i can. The arm continued to never stay in one place and the arm always went back to a 90 degree angle. Bottom line the boom arm is garbage for lighter mics.

This is a really nice stand, it’s just super tough to tighten and hold in spot. I’m sure it probably gets better with time. The way the cable runs down the back is cool too.

I like how sturdy it is, but even after i adjust the angles the most i can it slowly makes its way back up and away from my desire position, i now own a replacement one because the first one popped out of position and wouldn’t tighten anymore.
