Great plug and play with quality sound and look. Not only does this mic have great sound for the quality it looks great. I am a teacher and during these trying times of Covid my gaming den became my classroom. As I started to realize the difficulties of getting class engagement in an online setting I made the decision to look at the media my students (high school) were consuming by choice. After doing this I decided to make my class streams look more like a twitch stream. While much of this was achieved through software, a better sounding Mic was one of the essential hardware purchases I had to make (on my own dime of course). Once my new system for instruction was complete I noticed huge upticks in participation and engagement in class. It was a huge win for my students who surely received a better education during Covid through engagement and interest than they would have via the standard teacher sitting at their dining table with a Chromebook and zoom than most students were subjected to. *Insert "Modern problems call for modern solutions" meme here*

Super easy to set up. Works great and easy to transport. I use for making educational videos. Clear sound. Plug and play. You may have to adjust settings a bit as my work computer thought it was a speaker since it also has a headphone jack but it’s an easy fix and you only have to do it once. Didn’t have to adjust anything on my Mac. Worth the money.

I purchased this after trying 3 various Bluetooth enabled headphones/microphones after my co-workers kept complaining of buzzing noise coming from my connection (Bose Quiet Comfort 25s, Apple Airpods, and Logitech H600). I finally had enough! Plus the one headset I tried had no warning of when the battery was going to die (Logitech H600). So I purchased this and picked it up curbside w/in an hour. It was pretty easy to setup at home. I now use my Bose headset (plugs right into Yeti mic) with the Mic and boom. Picks up my voice very nicely speaking at normal tone and volume from 18" away. PROS: Sounds great from what I can tell. I am not a professional podcaster, reporter, or musician; But I do play guitar and love music and can tell the difference between what sounds good and what does not. Volume and Mute button right on mic. Cable management is nice; there is a built-in channel you can run the wires through so they aren't hanging. 4 sound patterns are nice; You can set it up to pickup your voice from straight on only (and not allow other noises from the side or back creep in) OR you can have it set to pickup sounds from 360* around it. The Gain control works nice too but I haven't had to turn it up very much at all as I am sitting 18" from the mic. Also, there is not much popping while speaking into this mic (I still bought a 6" Auphonix pop filter). CONS: The only gripe I have with this is that the boom adjustment screws and knobs are very difficult to turn. Even when they feel like they can't be tightened anymore to keep the arms from straightening back out or rising, they still seem to do so. You really have to turn them hard!

Incredible microphone. I am a professional online teacher to thousands of students around the world and teach 3-6 webinar classes and conduct half a dozen or more Zoom meetings every single week for many years now...and this Yeti Blue microphone has me sounding better than anything else I've tried; including, $200 top of the line gaming headphones with boom mic used for teaching webinars for a year, $400 Plantronics business wireless Over the Ear headphone with mic that was my go-to gear for meetings for at least 10 years, and $300 ear buds with $150 Rode lapel mic used for meetings and webinars for over 6 months. This mic is incredibly flexible to adjust to any circumstances. With the gain turned way up, listeners could hear light footsteps on the stairs across the house (on the other side of the kitchen and dining rooms, around a corner and down a hallway, with my office door shut!) Needless to say, they have incredible sound sensitivity but also fantastic sound quality. On other mics my voice has always sounded high and a little nasally. Its always bothered me. But on the Blue Mic, I sound like a radio DJ and have excellent tone that my long time listeners say now sounds fantastic when listening to long lessons. When I turn the gain down and use some of the built in effects plus the noise cancelling built into Zoom, my audience can't hear my landscapers lawn mower right outside my office window which is so loud in person that I can't even hear my students talking back to me with my speaker at full volume. So I can't hear them at all due to the noise, but they can't hear anything but me. On any of my other gear, I have to mute the mic to keep them from hearing the noise, but simultaneously interrupting my ability to speak also. So the incredible sound quality, clarity and effects make noise canceling software even more effective. No matter how sensitive or noise filtering you want/need, this is a fantastic mic for the job. The multidirectional capability is also fantastic if interviewing or talking with a partner into the same mic. Having 4 mics in one and the ability to choose multiple recording patterns for one, two or even a room full of sound makes this mic incredibly versatile and removes the need to mic up multiple sources. The boom is the only item that I don't rave about because its just decent. It is a little hard to tighten and keep locked down if you move it around a lot. I move mine a LOT because I have a sitting and standing desk and switch back and forth throughout my day, causing me to relocate my mic several time a day depending on what I'm doing. Even after a year though, I can still crank down on the tighteners (albeit its gotten pretty hard recently) and it will stay put. The bottom line is, I LOVE this mic and I don't hesitate recommending it. Best mic I've ever owned.

One of if not THE most amazing Desk studio mic i have ever purchased. I've had this for 2 years now and it still holds well no issues at all. The Quality of this mic is what I've been looking for. I get told my voice sounds very clear and crispy so i know its more then good its perfect!

So easy to set up and to understand how to operate. I am making an audio version of my latest book “A Drip From the Dragon’s Lip.” The sound is so clear and crisp. But it you will love it.

This is a good microphone to use at a pro level! If you want something reliable choose yeti!

Working from home, doing conference calls all day, had me leaning into my laptop to have the microphone in the screen pick up my voice. This microphone is plug and play - just plug in and no special software or anything to set up on my company laptop (which wouldn't allow for third party software anyways). Now, i can sit back and have the microphone tower over my head and I can use a regular voice level to be heard. I love this thing. A little pricey for a microphone but totally worth it. High quality.

This is a really great mic and boom arm. I’ve seen so many negative reviews on here and amazon but I’m here to say that this is the best boom arm I’ve used. It’s very sturdy and one major complaint I heard was the arm doesn’t lock in place. This is true. It gets tight though and the pressure and weight of it keeps it in place so it allows you to move it around seamlessly and it stays put in whatever angle you have it in. This frequently goes on sale for $170 so wait and buy it then!

Its a great mic for someone who wants an upgrade but not break the bank. The arm attaches to most desks and the joints are pretty solid. The microphone is a great higher quality than most headphones with mics but isnt the best out there. The cord for the mic can get pinched on the arm causing it to bend or frey. Keep a look out for that and you should be good!

After 6 years of running with the Snowball I finally decided to upgrade, it was definitely worth it. Quality microphone, easy to use, worth the price

Headphone quality is good, but I’ve had some issues with the arm to stay how I want it. The part that connects the shock mount often doesn’t stay at a 90 degree angle due to the weight of the mic.

This setup was extremely easy and straightforward. The quality of the boom is top-notch; I was especially impressed with the cable channel fabricated right into the boom with quality cable keepers across the channel. As you would expect from Yeti, the mic quality is on point and mounted easily and quickly to boom.

Excellent microphone thus far. Colleagues can hear me clearly on teams calls as I work from home. Only thing you have to be weary of is to check your volume so you dont blow up the eardrums of your recipients on calls. Item was easy to setup on my adjustable desk and has an arm that doesnt interfere with desk space usage.

I owned an original Blue Yeti and I liked it but in anything that I recorded it was always just too loud if I had it on my desk you could either hear me bottoming out keys on my keyboard or my mouse when I would pick it up and put it back down. The Yeticaster solved all the issues and made my desk more appealing to they eyes. The pivoting arm is EXTREMELY sturdy and can handle anything you put on it. Cable management is a breeze, setup is super simple and the shock mount gets rid of any extra noise that would be generated on my desk anyway. If you are looking to get into streaming or recording your own videos and need a proper setup to get started, look no further than the Yeticaster.

Great for streaming or regular use. Was just using Logitech headphones but now this is game changing

This mic is awesome for our podcast. And the arm flexes enough that we have a clear and crisp shound. The good thing is that’s compatible with Windows and iOS.
