I bought this in December of 2019. By January of 2021 just 13 months of having it the battery wouldn’t charge anymore. So as mad as I was I ordered another $100 battery. Changed out the battery and it still wouldn’t charge. So I called customer service and since it was out of warranty after just over a year she said it would cost me over $130 just to have them look at it then also cost however much to fix it. So I went to Amazon and wrote a nasty review and Roomba contacted me. Said since the warranty was just out a month they were sending me a new charging base because that was the issue with this model. Well that would have been nice for customer service to tell me when I called mad about my battery! Got my new base in March and it worked good for MAYBE a month. So I was back to fighting to get it to charge and could normally get it to work after a couple of days. Well now I am on day 10 fighting and it will not charge. So he is my suggestion to you. If you want to throw away $650 (which is not what I paid mine was $800) by all means buy this piece of junk. If you like your money then go elsewhere! I will also say this is the third and last Roomba I will ever buy. I have always loved them until now!!

This thing was really disappointing. We had the earlier model of this and had no issues. This thing constantly was messing up. Nothing ever worked right. About a year in the charging station messed up.

The robot does not properly pick up light dog hair on low carpet. This robot will pick up some hair temporarily...before depositing it elsewhere in the house. My dog is a light to moderate shedder. The carpet is a low-pile. I live in a temperate area with moderate humidity. In short, it’s a fairly unremarkable environment for a vacuum. I have contacted iRobot customer service multiple times, and support has yet to solve this problem or replace the vacuum, even though my machine was still under warranty when the process began months ago. With a couple of pleasant exceptions, long wait times, poor guidance, and a lack of communication have been hallmarks of my experience. As one example, a customer support rep told me that, for the robot to work, I should periodically spray my carpet with a laundry anti-static spray. Or, alternatively, I need to “increase the humidity in my house.” I followed their instructions (though it seems pretty odd to me that I should have to walk around my house spraying my carpet with anti-static spray and using a humidifier just to get my vacuum to...well, vacuum), but it still didn't work. Most recently, I sent it off for a (second) repair at iRobot’s request, and iRobot returned it saying that they were unable to duplicate the problem. This despite me sending pictures and a video of the Roomba spitting out hair. This is the second time they have returned the machine claiming that they could not duplicate the issue. I have spent literally hours with support staff, and -- at bottom -- there have been no results. I really WANT this to work -- but I'm at the end of my tether with this failed device (and probably the company as a whole). The one redeeming factor it has is that the software is excellent, and the machine is easy to use. In other words: If it actually worked, it would be awesome. Either the machine I have is a dud, and iRobot's customer service has taken hours and hours to find no solution and offered no replacement ... or the vacuum doesn’t work well. Either way, I’m very disappointed.

Absolute trash if you have pets and carpet floors. The rubberized rollers are designed to be tangle free, but they still accumulate pet hair like traditional bristle rollers, however, they don’t pick up hair at all other than to wrap around itself. All these rollers do is clump up the hair and crap it out the back of the robot. See photos of all the lovely black fur. I’ve owned off brand robots that have done great, but eventually died after years. So I stepped up and spent more on iRobot and essentially threw away $700. This vacuum is great for piling up fur so I can come behind it with a real vacuum. I’d be happy if they offered normal bridge rollers, but all that’s available for this model are the rubber ones. I am assuming the rollers are the problem, it may be the suction as well. This this is super quiet which makes me think it’s not sucking that much. If you have carpet and things that produce a lot of hair (pets/wives) don’t get this vacuum. Hard floors, you may have better results since you don’t need to agitate carpet to free embedded hairs.

Like having it sweep everyday however it always leaves clumps of dog fur. Keeps going into keep out zone and getting stuck. Often times will run out of battery and I will have to take it to it's dock. Recently when it gets to it's dock it will fall of the side. If I wasn't home to tend to it then it would never get the sweeping done. Very frustrated with it. The clumps of fur are left after 3-4 times of having it sweep same area.

Where has this been my whole life?! Maps and learns your house and cleans very well. Great for dusty wood floors with pet hair that need to be cleaned daily. Have not tried upstairs on carpets yet but it has done great with my area rugs.

The freezer we bought works great. However, it was dented in a few places and after seeing how it was handled in the store I understand why. The photos I submitted are just after I unpacked the freezer.

After one year of owning the Roomba decided to stop working completely. It continues to say Error 7, stuck, left wheel error. There is nothing wrong with the left wheel nor has this machine been through any tough cleanings. Replaced the wheel with a friends wheel and it says the same thing. Contacted Roomba and they have been silent.

It really not what I thought it would be. It seems to get stuck on all my furniture. If there is a cord anywhere on the floor it will find it and make its life mission to wrap it self up repeatedly.

This vacuum does an excellent job of cleaning. It picks up all the cat hair our 2 cats leave behind. It empties itself and goes home to charge the battery. Quality is excellent. Very pleased.

It returns an error on more than 50% of jobs “could not complete,” etc. It just doesn’t clean well (see photo AFTER it had supposedly cleaned that space “successfully”). The maps indicate that it has successfully cleaned a certain portion of your home, when truly it did not. Just a bad product.
