This is a fantastic item! It is loud, sounds great and the battery life is awesome. I replaced a TDK A33, which was also very good, but this is an upgrade. I am not an audiophile, so the sound for me is great. It is very sturdy, is water proof and lasted 6 hours without needing to be recharged. If you can get on sale, a bonus. Would purchase again.

This speaker is amazing. The sound and bass are great. I have the UE boom connected every were in my house from bluetooth to cable and I also have it linked with another UE Boom I have it makes the music and music videos more surround. Not only does it have its own app to make it more user friendly but it can be picked up and used to pause or skip a song. It's great..

I purchased myself a UE Boom 2 about a year ago and love the quality of the sound. The basically life proof speaker is amazing broadcasting sound in a 360 degree manner. The battery life is decent. It out performs bose, jbl and sony bluetooth speakers! I had to buy my fiance one! This is a must buy for anyone looking for quality sound!!

This product exceeded my expectations! Plenty loud enough and the Battery life is so long! I needed something durable for travel with kids sporting activities and this is it. Holds up great to 8y/o hockey boys and 12 y/o outdoors lacrosse. And it's all without giving up much sound quality from Bose. Already bought another one as a gift!

We wanted a bluetooth speaker that we could travel with and found the perfect one in the UE 2 boom. The sound is great and it's perfect to take on the beach. Plus there is no need to worry if it gets splashed with water. We looked at the Fugoo in store to compare the two speakers but thought the Fugoo sounded more muffled. The best choice would be the Bose speaker but didn't want to deal with the hassle of it possibly getting wet. Overall, great purchase!

I rocked this little but powerful portable speaker at my honeymoon. We had gone to the beach, and between backgammon and contains, this fella accompanied us. The sound was great, battery lasted a long time. And it resisted well to the weather. It's not too heavy, fits in any regular handbag. Hands down, one of the best speakers i've owned and worth every penny.

A friend of mine has a couple of these speakers and after seeing them in action, they had be wanting a pair for myself. The sound quality is excellent at low, medium, and high volumes. Of course when it is turned up nearly all the way, you're subject to getting the standard bluetooth feedback on certain songs more than others. The equalizer on the app is great for changing the sound between music styles. Or if you listen to podcasts and audiobooks they have an EQ option for that as well. I purchased 2 of the Boom 2 speakers since they were on sale and the only thing I regret is not buying a third. Having multiples of these speakers is really great since it's so easy to link them together on the Boom app. You can achieve insane surround sound in a room, or have it playing indoors and outdoors so you can walk around the party and never lose the music. Sure, these speakers cost a little more than most, but they're waterproof, drop proof, they easily link together, and the sound quality is phenomenal. This will be the last bluetooth speaker you purchase until you want to buy another UE Speaker to achieve even greater surround sound.

I purchased the UE Boom 2 about a month ago and I could not be happier with it. I was in need of a small, portable speaker that would easily pair with my Mac Book Pro and fill a room with 50 students. I researched and tested several of the products on the market in this category and kept coming back to the Boom 2. I picked one up and used it the following morning for the class and was amazed with its volume, clarity, and separation between channels in the mix. If you need a portable speaker for use anywhere with easy pairing at a great price, this is it.

Has excellent sound quality. I had the UE Boom 1 before and there were a few issues with it connecting via bluetooth but it was all fixed when I exchanged it for the UE Boom 2. The sound is a lot clearer and less fuzzy. Battery life is exceptionally long. Very happy with the product

After a few bad purchases I found myself looking at the UE Boom 2 for it's waterproof and outdoorsy features. Then I noticed the 2.1 channels and the reviews praised the bass, battery life, and 100 foot bluetooth range outdoors. I downloaded the app for the speaker on my phone and I can turn it on and play music from 50 ft away(as far as I've had to test). This speaker is here to stay for me and even fits in my kayak cupholder. The one thing I wish carried over from the original UE Boom was the red/black color theme but white/black(phantom) isn't so bad. Also, very, very, VERY loud without distortion!!!

Excellent blue tooth speaker for the money. I have the older UE Boom and love it for poolside or anywhere in the house. The UE Boom 2 adds more distance and is waterproof now vs. water resistant. For the price you can't beat the sound or how long it lasts on a charge.

Great wireless speaker. Excellent battery life (it says 15 hours), durable and puts out great volume and bass. I like the range on it, I wander all over my house with my phone in my pocket and the Bluetooth remains connected to the speaker elsewhere in the house.

The UE Boom 2 is the best speaker. My husband and I listened to several top speakers in the store before deciding on this one. This speaker had the best sound quality even over the Bose portable option. We originally purchased the UE MegaBoom two years ago and loved it. We loved it so much that we bought a second one two weeks later. A few months later we also bought a UE Boom 2. The UE Boom 2 packs enough sound for the size that the MegaBoom is not really necessary especially if you have more than one. Several of our friends and family have purchased the UE Boom 2 based on our recommendation. Also, we love the speakers so much that, this year, we purchased five UE Boom 2 speakers to give as Christmas gifts. About a year and a half into owning our MegaBoom speakers, One of our MegaBoom speakers started sounding a bit off. It had a slight cracking sound when you turned it up too loud. We contacted customer support and they mailed us a new speaker with no problem. Great company to deal with who stands behind their product.

Best bluetooth speaker I've used. I've only used about three other brands of bluetooth speakers but this one is superior. Music comes through clear and crisp and you can definitely feel the bass without that rattling you sometimes hear. Battery lasts quite awhile, solid quality and feels sturdy.

I bought this portable Bluetooth speaker to fit in the cup holder of my golf cart. It is plenty loud enough and the sound is crystal clear. I get about 12 hours of use before I have to charge it for only 2 hours. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for awesome in a compact speaker.

I was hesitant on this item because of the reports of a two hour battery life. Then I read contradictions to that and was stumped. Well I bit the bullet and purchased this unit. I could not be more satisfied with this purchase. I have no idea what people are doing to get such low hours. Perhaps not charging them? We used this unit outside at the pool for at least 12 hours over the course of two days, without plugging it in and had NO issues. In fact, the firmware update was flawless, the sound superior to anything in the price range and I could not be happier. We have our entire home loaded with Sonos, but if we did not I can 100% assure you we would carry this thing around and join two together to create true stereo sound. Oh AND its water proof for up to 30 minutes. Very very happy customer. Friends and family all ask, what is that thing? It sounds great from every angle.

Great sound, easy to connect and to use with the app. The base is very deep the volume is perfect and I can use it while in the shower without any worry of getting the unit damaged.

The UE Boom 2 is a durable, lightweight portal speaker. It's easy to connect to a device via Bluetooth. The UE Boom is great for playing in your house or outdoors. The sound holds up at loud volumes and is not overly loud at lower volumes. We are pleased with our purchase.

I originally purchased a different brand of speaker but it just didn't offer the sound I was looking for. I went back to the store and the sales associate recommended this one. It was a great recommendation! It's got great sound, very portable and has great battery life.
