This is my first robotic vacuum, but i am impressed. This is a great way to supplement your cleaning. It is amazing how much it picks up and where it can go that is difficult to go with a regular vacuum without moving furniture. We program it to clean four times a week, and it will run for about 1 hour and 50 minutes before returning to its charger, automatically. We have carpet and hardwood floors and it does a nice job on all of it. We do use a regular vacuum, mostly on the carpets about once a week, but the hardwood floors are usually not requiring additional vacuuming after the robot cleans every couple of days. We do not have pets, so we are only dealing with normal household dust and crumbs, but it is still amazing how much this robot can find after only two days. We are very pleased with this purchase.

We owned an iRobot vacuum prior to this purchase and it lasted about a year. We decided to try this one based on it being great for pet owners/pet hair. It is much quieter than the iRobot and we love that. It does not have barrier towers to contain it and we do miss this feature. It can be programmed to run automatically, it has a remote, and you can control it from the app - all very convenient features. It has long battery life and can run much longer than the iRobot. We are satisfied with this. I would purchase this brand again - maybe go up a model or two for more features.

I been wanting to get one ever since I saw one roaming around my friends house years ago but couldn’t justify spending 500 dollars plus on something I can do myself . I was also skeptical on how well they work . Decided to try it out when they went on sale for Black Friday at 150 . Best decision I made . It seems to go at random and wasn’t sure if it would clean the whole house . Let it do it’s thing (seems random ) for several hours and it takes care of 90 percent of the vacuuming I would normally have to do . I love that it goes back and charges by itself . Cleaning is easy and you can program it while you are at work or at night while you sleep . I would recommend to anyone . The app is a little slow , my only con I have .

The Deebot N79SE works as advertised. It covered all the rooms both on the wood floors and the low pile carper. I watched it as it approached some steps and found them and turned around. Setup was easy I had to be careful finding the app since there was an old one also. The remote works perfectly to guide the vac. But you do have to read the quick setup to see what each button does. The app does a good job also guiding the vac. Sending it home for a recharge needs some help and guidance from the remote -- especially if it is in a different room from the charger. It worked so well for the downstairs that I bought one at the great Black Friday sale price for the upstairs.

This little guy runs for almost 2 hours, gets into edges like a champ, and does a fine job on bare floors and low carpets. He is made for these floors NOT shag and when I’m rude enough to leave my shag rug down in my bathroom I know it because he gets snagged and stuck. Sometimes he gets stuck in spots because he tries so hard to clean under my entertainment center. Easy replacement brushes and filters are available on Amazon. It’s great coming home to clean floors every day. The remote comes in handy for spot spills too. Just set it in the center of the spill and set it for spiral cleaning and it works out from the center. If you have pets you might need to make sure to empty every day or run twice a day.

This is the best purchase in a long while. I call my Deebot "Dee" as my cleaning lady. She is quieter than our dishwasher and does her job without any problems. Our two Morkies check her out but because she does not cause them any problems, they leave her alone. I can set her to clean and she runs for nearly 2 hours before going back to her charging station. Dee goes over our vinyl laminate floors with no problem and up over various layers of throw rugs and bath mats with out missing a beat! Love this helper in our new house.

I didn’t want to spend the money on one of these robot vacuums since I haven’t had any real experience with one. So I opted for this Ecovacs machine which was rated well on YouTube for the under $300 segment. It’s not as smart as other machines....it just keeps going until the battery is about to die and then it returns to the dock. It also doesn’t have a cool app that allows you to see where it’s been. It only allows you to see the status of the machine, to start it in different modes and also to tell it to go home to the dock. It does go I to different surfaces. It does a great job of going from tile to carpet. It climbs on the doormats and gets them clean too. Get extra brushes. I’ve had mine about 2 months and I’m sure I’ll need brushes in the next two. Maintain the cleaning schedule the book recommends. This way the dust tray doesn’t stick, your roller stays free and clear to do its job, and the sensors will know how to direct the machine. You’ll notice it gets dusty so just clean it off every now and then and also the front side so the dust doesn’t obscure the sensors. I’d buy this machine again in a heartbeat. It doesn’t have the features of more expensive machines but it gets the job done.

We love, love this little dude. We use it on one of our levels that is about 700 square ft and it has enough energy to always complete the task. He is a little bit of a wanderer but eventually starts to run more precise lines as time goes on. We will be buying another one for our family room when we spot it on sale again. The vacuum is pretty darn quiet, my sister in law mentioned it is much quieter than her roomba (?) Vacuum. We call him Murray and Murray is pretty darn awesome.

Best purchase ever! We love this vacuum after getting hardwood floors. We never knew how much our dog shed until it the fur balls were flying across the smooth floors. Nearly 2 years later it still works great. Of course you replace some brushes and filters over time but this has been perfect for us. I recently spent $15 to replace the rechargeable battery and now it runs like new again.

This is my first robot vacuum and I was initially in love w it the first couple times it ran. It works well to pick up dust and cat hair on hardwood floors but it seems to get stuck on doorway thresholds quite a bit. The thresholds are less than 1/2" thick, but the Deebot seems to get stuck on it every time it ventures into the bedrooms and have to run over the thresholds. I have to be at home to move it along, else it just powers down and doesn't finish the cleaning cycle. Pros: * 2 hour running time is enough to clean an 1,100 sq ft apartment. * Great suction on hardwood flooring. Eats up scattered cat litters and cat hair. * Ability to specify a room to vacuum (if I let it vacuum on its own, it seems to focus its vacuuming in certain rooms instead of where the charging base is located. See Cons list below). Cons: * Has difficulty going over thresholds. * It doesn't vacuum the areas around the charging base. Consequently, I have to hand vacuum either side of the charging base to clean up the dust/hairballs Deebot missed. * Doesn't always get to the corners to clean up the dust balls. It's a hit or miss every time the cleaning cycle runs. * Seems to spend more time vacuuming rooms other than the one where its base is located. I'm still pleased w the purchase, especially since I got it on sale though not sure if I can say the same had I paid full retail price.

This is a great vacuum. We always wanted the iRobot which is too expensive so we went with the deebot which I think wins. We had fun watching it go room to room and it did a pretty good job at getting all the areas. I wish it had a feature where it could map out your house so it doesn’t waste time going back to the areas it already did. But overall it’s great and we couldn’t be happier.

This is my first robot vacuum and I am pleasantly surprised! It does a great job of picking up and I love that it has different cleaning patterns and can be managed via an app. My only complaint is that it does get stuck in some places and literally beeps 20 times (I get it, you’re stuck!). I’m still learning how to use it best, but am really happy.

It works well but does not have smart features to learn a room, so often finds a corner it loves and bumps around in the same spot for a while. Has some troubles navigating curtains and cords, especially in edge mode. Only connects to 2.4ghz. As a first budget robot vacuum it works well enough and is easy to clean.

We just built a new home with all wood floors. We wanted something that would be helpful to maintain the floors between cleanings. This one seemed to fit the bill. Great Black Friday deal. It does a great job however ive noticed it can get confused and stuck in a room. We now close room doors after it cleans one so it doesnt go back. We are pleased with it for what we paid.

As the Deebot 79SE is our first robotic vacuum, we weren't quite sure what to expect. After scouring forums and reviews in search of a good robotic vacuum for pet owners we decided on the very inexpensive Deebot 79SE. Of course best buy had it cheaper than we could find it online, but it wouldn't have mattered, because they price match anyways. After getting the robot home, I eagerly unpackaged our purchase and very easily assembled the two side brushes that just click into place. After a 4 hour initial charge, I set it loose on an automatic setting. It cleaned our hardwood floors of all but large debris, transitioned to our carpet, and our tiles with no problem. It cleans for over an hour before needing to recharge. The only thing I would complain about is it's efficiency on carpet. It does a fair job(better than expected), but is not heavy enough to really penetrate the carpet fully and grab all dirt and hair. I also had to remove and clean the main brush after two uses due to dog hair getting tangled and stuck. Overall a GREAT choice for its price.

We have had this vacuum for months now and I still love it. It helps my house look more well maintained since it keeps the black lab hair at bay. We run it regularly to eliminate the dog hair and it does a great job. I would not recommend watching it work because it seems so random. It is better to set it and forget it. It picks up a lot on each run and the battery lasts long enough to complete the main floor of my home.
