we just moved into a 4 bedroom house from a 2b apartment and have a toddler so this has been a lifesaver. I love that it collects a significant amount of dirt and dust which has improved my son's allergies. It works great so far but it doesn't have a mapping system i think so it does move around randomly and sometimes misses some spots but if a room has lots of crumbs i usually close the door to let it completely clean up the room. I do use the manual function to move it myself near the dining table which is where it sometimes has difficulty because of chairs.
This machine will be great as a starter robot vacuum and obviously if you get it on sale like i did every penny of the $160-ish is totally worth it!

I put it on a timer. It picks up my pet’s hair. Fairly powerful vacuum. Occasionally will get stuck under my couch but it has an alarm when it gets stuck, easy to find. I’m going to buy another one for my upstairs.

Bought it for my aunt. Have 2 at home. Setup isn’t easy if you need it to connect to Wi-Fi, but that’s not too important for our household.

The reason I bought this vacuum is because I have two dogs that shed constantly. This does a great job with dog hair and everything else. The remote comes in handy when I just want to get the robot to vacuum a certain area.

Clyde as my hubby calls him is amazing. I can't help but talk to him like a pet Hubby laughs when he hears me talking to him. I will think I need to move him somewhere and find my self saying "come on boy, here we go." Or "did you get lost and cant find your way home?" And then there is "you can't be scared of that table." that is when he goes under the coffee table and stops and starts beeping. don't know why he get through chair leg well enough. I swear its like he got stuck once and is scared of it. LOL I love the amount of dust reduction i've noticed. well worth the price.

This little guy is amazing. I was skeptical but he is way better than I imagined. I have a small house, 3 people, 2 massively shed-crazy dogs (a husky/German step mix, and an unknown shedding machine), and a cat. I was vacuuming 3x a day, no exaggeration, due to my animals and allergies. I think I have maybe vacuumed twice in 6 weeks now.
This thing collects pet hair, dust, pet food, litter, etc with no problems. Makes it over the threshold easily, navigates though the furniture and rarely get stuck, has no problem with out area rug to hardwood floor transition. Makes it back to base. I cannot say enough good things about it. Truly a superior product

Best investment I have ever made! this bad boy has taken a beating.. My dog rides on it, my 3yr old rides on it. it gets caught up in cords all the time.. It is like the energyzier bunny just keeps going.. BUY IT only cons are it gets stuck under tables and the couch at times.. but no fault to it.. We ended up buying the new white one.. and it is no where near as good as this older black one 2 years later still running storng had to do nothing to it.

First off, any negative reviews are likely from consumers that lack common sense.
Please remove all protective plastics before you use as these interfere with the bots ability to see clearly.
ON TO THE REVIEW. Right out of the box you can set it up pretty quickly although you won't be able to use right away. The only time consuming parts are: finding an appropriate location for the dock and downloading the app and waiting about an hour for sufficient charge to operate for plenty of time to appreciate it's ability to navigate.
MY OBSERVATIONS: The reason I give this bot 5 stars is because the engineers thought of everything when designing this thing. Dual brushes are absolutely necessary for several reasons, they reach into edges and corners and pull the dirt into the suction path. Also these brushes are designed to brush up against the rubber wheels which cleans them too and allows the bot to have better traction in order to climb onto rugs. The wheels are strategically positioned to serve as walls that channel the wind/dirt into the path of the vacuum. A CIRCULAR DESIGN IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST: being round allows it to rotate 360 when it wedges itself into tight spots so that it can free itself out. The bumper has sensors that allow it to detect things without the need to bump into. The bot will slow down to get through things it thinks may not be obstacles (such as low hanging curtains, or long hanging dresses in closets. If the object is in fact and obstacle, the bot will bump into it and its bumper detects the pressure and it then rotates to go around it. The engineers made this thing so efficient that it is super quiet. I compare it to my computer's fans under heavy load or a really quiet microwave.
MAINTENANCE: The dirt bin is easy to pull out, clean, maintain, and replace filters as it is all-in-one. The brushes, roller, and filters are sold separately and very cheap, but you probably wont need to replace but once a year.
CONCLUSION: I bought 2 of these for the price of 1 "more advanced" competitor bot and because of that, I have double the dirt bin capacity, I can clean rooms separately, and I can clean my house in half the time.
THE BAD: The app takes a long time to refresh every time you open it. You can't just jump in and tell your robot what to do or see the battery life right away, but this is minor because I am just glad I have an app to tell me useful things like "your bot is stuck". Also, they need to update their Google Assistant capability as it currently only allows for one bot to be controlled. They need to allow all bots to be controlled (like Phillips Hue with all their lights) This almost made me take away one star, HOWEVER, the schedule makes it so I don't even have to tell Google to vacuum. The only feature I use is to tell Google to dock the vac if I have company over during its scheduled cleaning.

This is a good little vacuum. The app is absolutley horrible, so if you're looking for one with a well working app don't buy this one. It wanders around the house doing its thing and picks up all the pet hair. Easy to use with the remote. Easy to take apart and clean. It doesn't have a pattern, it's just random, but since I run it daily it ends up getting all of the spots. Goes under furniture well and from surface to surface well.

This is such a time saver in my home! I run it several times a week and it really does well with dog hair. I love that I can use the remote control that is included rather than having to use an app to control it.

This vacuum seems to work relatively well. The remote control that comes with it is easy to operate. I am very disappointed that so far I have been unable to connect this unit to my Wi-Fi and my smart phone. I have tried multiple times and contacted customer service for help with no success. I am thinking the unit has a problem and may need to be returned for replacement.

Considered robot vacs in the past but the prices were unreasonable. I had some expendable money on a gift card so I decided to give this one a try. To my surprise I got the same expectations I would have gotten from the competition. Just like anything else you own you need to clean out after use and ensure to check filter regularly. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is from my own admission of not really trying to comprehend the programming instructions, they could be a little clearer.

The Deebot N79SE works as advertised. It covered all the rooms both on the wood floors and the low pile carper. I watched it as it approached some steps and found them and turned around. Setup was easy I had to be careful finding the app since there was an old one also.
The remote works perfectly to guide the vac. But you do have to read the quick setup to see what each button does. The app does a good job also guiding the vac.
Sending it home for a recharge needs some help and guidance from the remote -- especially if it is in a different room from the charger.
It worked so well for the downstairs that I bought one at the great Black Friday sale price for the upstairs.

this works fairly well. Remote doesn't always send it where I want it to go but other than that being a small inconvenience it does a good job of vacuuming carpets and tile floors. has gotten stuck under bed a few times but I have a temprpedic with wires under bed I do try to pick up those wires but I cant remove them all the way. dirt bin is fairly easy to remove and empty. I have a fairly open floor plan and batter charge seems to last for whole house roughly 2800 sq ft.

This little guy runs for almost 2 hours, gets into edges like a champ, and does a fine job on bare floors and low carpets. He is made for these floors NOT shag and when I’m rude enough to leave my shag rug down in my bathroom I know it because he gets snagged and stuck. Sometimes he gets stuck in spots because he tries so hard to clean under my entertainment center. Easy replacement brushes and filters are available on Amazon. It’s great coming home to clean floors every day. The remote comes in handy for spot spills too. Just set it in the center of the spill and set it for spiral cleaning and it works out from the center. If you have pets you might need to make sure to empty every day or run twice a day.

I was a little hesitant on this brand at first being that this was my first robot vacuum and it was quite a bit cheaper than big name brands. But the price for it was a really good deal and after reading through many reviews, I was convinced. So I bought it. We have had it about a month now and my wife and I love our Deebot!
The vacuum cleans great, working with brushes to make sure and get wide areas as well as corners and such. We deal with a lot of cat hair and a lot of crumbs from kids, the Deebot picks it all up wonderfully. It's also very smart with its auto feature and routes and all.
Great purchase and I'm actually glad we went with it over a bigger, more expensive name brand.

My Deebot works amazing when it doesn’t get stuck. It finds a way to push itself all the way under my couch, I have no idea how when it takes some force to pull it out from where it’s stuck. Besides having to pry it out from wherever it gets stuck, it really does an amazing job of cleaning. I’m amazed at how much dirt/dust is in the filter every other day. Before this purchase, I used to vacuum every other week cause it was time consuming. Now this has honestly made cleaning a lot easier.

I bought my first robo a year ago and I was so please, I decided after this wear out, to give myself an upgrade but if fail even those new robo that imply mop, and those with the big brush.
but this one is excellent if it requires more power over the carpet it pushes very well, those mats on the bathroom has been cleaned very nice, any obstacle that interferes on its way it goes really quick around it. I do highly recommend it. and the best it comes with a remote control in case you need to do a spot clean, something that is missing on the new Robo vacuums.

Where has this guy been all my life! I checked out all the reviews and this brand got a pretty good ones and so far I am happy with the purchase. I have used him about five times and I am thrilled. It has picked up quite a bit an where has this guy been all my life! I got a great deal on it before Black Friday and couldn’t be happier. Right now because I still have Christmas things out and he might get into a little trouble I don’t let him run when I’m not home. He has gotten tangled up in a few things that would normally be there but it’s not his fault. And even if I have to be home every time I wouldn’t even care, works great for dog hair tumbleweeds and all kinds of little things
