Runners- this review is for you! I am beyond pleased with my Jaybird Vista headphones. When my Jaybird Freedom headphones died, I was interested in investing in a pair of true wireless headphones for long distance running. I run half and full marathons, so my “needs” list for a pair of headphones included secure fit, comfort for long periods of time, decent battery life, and ability to hear ambient sound when running outdoors. The Jaybird Vista meets these expectations and more! Here’s my experience with the Jaybird Vista: Secure fit- Fantastic! The earbuds come with 3 sizes of ear gels. I really appreciate how the tip and the fin are attached, compared to my Jaybird Freedom’s where the tips started falling off when I took them out of my ear and I would lose them! It took to me a little while to realize exactly how the headphones are supposed to fit in my ear (I used the tutorials on the Jaybird app, which were somewhat helpful). I guess I have a pretty small ear “cavity”, so I need the 1 size ear gel and I have to shove them in a little. However, once they are in, they don’t move! The longest I’ve ran with them in is 10 miles and I never had to adjust the earbud the entire time. Comfort- Great! Like I said, I’ve ran 10 miles with my Jaybird Vista and I never felt any major ear fatigue. I did notice the first time I wore the left ear bud, my ear was a little sore, but that has since resolved the more times I’ve worn them. I would assume if you’ve never had true wireless headphones that your ears may need time to adjust to the different fit. I am also a student, so I look forward to trying out these headphones for studying in the future and hopefully they continue to remain comfortable for long period of studying, but I haven’t had the opportunity to test that yet. Battery life- So far, so good! The longest amount of time I have used my headphones to date is 1 hour 35 minutes and they worked great during that time. My marathon time was around 4 hours and 30 minutes, so these headphones should theoretically have enough battery life for an average marathoner, which is a really exciting feature! Ability to hear ambient sound when running outdoors- This was super important to me. As a female runner, I need to be aware of my surroundings. I researched other headphones that had “hear through” options, but was turned off by all the other features they included that I personally felt were unnecessary, like heart rate monitor, etc. I will admit, these headphones are very noise cancelling (which is great for the gym or the library). The way around this for outdoor running, however, is to only wear one earbud at a time. I wasn’t sure how thrilled I was about only wearing one earbud for my runs, but it hasn’t been an issue so far and I feel like I still am motivated by my music while being able to sufficiently hear ambient noise with only one earbud in. Other comments- These headphones had a lot of really attractive features for runners. I love that they’re waterproof because I sweat a lot, although I haven’t actually tested dropping them in water. I wanted decent sound quality from my headphones, although sound wasn’t a major factor for me. I think the sound quality definitely meets my expectations and the Jaybird app allows you to tailor the sound specs to your preferences, which is pretty cool! Buttons for controlling your music are fairly “clicky”. I guess the only time I’ve noticed any true discomfort with the earbuds is when I’m clicking the button to use the controls, but they’re relatively easy to press and I don’t feel like they dig into your ear any further when you press them. I like that you can adjust what you want a specific control to do on the Jaybird app. I currently have changed the setting when you hold down the button on the right bud to increase volume and the left bud to decrease volume. My one compliant with these headphones is that this is not super accurate for changing to a specific volume and it’s easy to go too high or too low. Also, this doesn’t work if you’re only running with one bud in. No complaints about Bluetooth connectivity: the earbuds pair almost instantly once you take them out of the case, no dropped connection to note yet, and they seem to have excellent Bluetooth range. I also love that the headphones automatically turn off when you put them back in the case. You also have the option to change the settings on the Jaybird app for when they automatically turn off outside of the case. The case is really small and seems sturdy. I haven’t had to charge it for over a week while using the earbuds daily. The earbuds magnetically click into the case and the case magnetically closes, so everything seems very secure. Things I’m interested in testing come this winter are battery life in cold climates (I live in ND and my Jaybird Freedoms would often die quickly in the cold) and comfort while wearing a hat or headband. Overall, the Jaybird Vista are everything I want in a true wireless running headphone. Thank you Jaybird!

    Long lasting, truly wireless

Truly wireless, small profile, decent audio quality and long battery life, uncommon to get all of that is truly wireless earbuds. Most I have tried usually last maybe a couple hours or if they did last longer had a cylinder sticking out of your ear. The Jaybird Vista is simple to connect with one button on the case and standard Bluetooth connection. Sound quality by default is pretty decent, but I found it best when I installed the Jaybird app and used the equalizer. After using the “Discover more presets” option I was able to find exactly the sound I was looking for. Surprisingly low bass and range for such small earbuds. I used these for several hours this weekend while doing some strenuous yard work and with all the sweat and activity they stayed in place. One thing that may be of concern for some out exercising is that these provide a decent amount of passive noise isolation. Meaning with music playing, you aren’t going to hear much of your surroundings. So, for me this weekend they actually acted as noise protection from the lawn equipment. The only interaction these earbuds have is a single button that by default you click once for play/pause or call answer, twice for skip or ignore call or long hold for power off. However, you can change the clicks to be the voice assistant of your phone or some other custom commands for Spotify. I found the pressure needed to press the buttons a little excessive as they push the earbud into your ear a bit more. The only thing that would make them better is a touch sensitive button. You can use the earbuds individually if you want to extend your battery life even more. For instance, when you get the 20% audio warning, take one out and throw it in the case till you run the other one dead, then swap out and keep going. With about 6 hours on a single full charge you can make these last more than a day with one at a time.

Bought these for my wife for Christmas. Today on January 4th she decides to go for a run. Opened said item and they were USED!!! Case was all scratched and scuffed and ear wax still on ear piece. Took all of 30+ minutes to get someone other than a robot on the phone to be able to return them. Very disappointed in Best Buy’s customer service and lack of checking returned products.

Great for the gym. I seriously can’t hear anyone around me or the music playing at the gym. They work so well it almost got me into trouble with my partner. She thought I was ignoring her when she was talking to me from another room at home. I just couldn’t hear. They are very comfortable and hold a long charge. I’ve been using them for quite a while, at least a year. I’ve used them running and they don’t fall out. When running I only use one earbud because they are so good that you wouldn’t hear a car or bike behind you. A serious upgrade from the version with the cord on the back of your neck.

Ive owned wireless headphones from this manufacturer in the past. Im happy to say that the quality is still, as solid as can be. The reasons I still really enjoy this brand and these headphones specifically is because of 2 reasons. Portability and sound quality. First, these headphones come with a mini charge station that provides up to several.... not 1 or 2, but sever hours of play. The compact carry/charge case is a teach touch that really differentiates these from other players in the area. The keychain dongle is a neat touch too, this attachment allows me to attach the charge case to a backpack or gymbag etc. Very cool design. Next is the sound, when i first popped these earphones in i didnt initially think the sound was all too great, but then i realized that the rubber earphone mold that came stock on the earphones was too small and the gap between the rubber and my ear was allowing a lot of sound to escape. Luckily these come with 3 replace molds of different sizes. Once i changes to a larger mold it was immediately fixed. The quality is solid with deep base and crisp treble, as it should be. The companion app also give the user the ability to tweak to their liking. All in all, due to portability and sound quality i highly recommend these wireless headphones.

I bought the Sony's WF-1000XM3, the Sennheiser's Momentum True Wireless and this Jaybird's Vista's at the same time to hear the difference by myself between all of them and let me tell you, this Vista's are the best of all of them. 1st the Sony's sound good but the volume is too low, the Sennheiser's sounded better than the Sony's but the battery life it's too short and the price too high, the Vista's battery life is the best of all of them, they are waterproof and the sound quality for me it's even better than all of the others including the Sennheiser's due to the awesome equalizer built into Jaybird's app, you can tune the equalizer yourself to your liking or just search on the app for a lot of already made equalizer settings from Jaybird or the users that have shared their presets into the app including some professional settings or even audiophile settings, I think for the price of this earbuds at $180 is a steal compared to the others at $230 and $300 + the volume level of the Vista's are really loud if you're looking into that.

An outstanding athletic-focused true wireless set

This is an outstanding set of wireless buds. As long as you don't require the functions this set does not have--active noise cancelling or a "hear-through" mode--then you should stop looking and just buy these. For me this pair won because of fit. I have owned and/or tried these against the Bose wireless (shorted out after heavy sweat); Apple AirPod Pros (very good overall but would not stay in my ears on runs); Jabra 75t Active (also very good overall but would not stay in my ears). In fact, I have tried previous Jaybirds and did not like them. But these are different. The fit was outstanding. They are comfortable, and they have the wing to keep them in place. Headphone reviews talk about "I shook my head and they didn't come out!" but so what? Do a run or workout with them and see how it goes once you're sweaty and they start slipping. These didn't slip at all and require essentially no adjustment mid-workout or mid-run. They also don't make my ears sore after long listening/workout sessions, which can't be said for some others. Of course, fit is unique to everyone's ears, but the tapered tips (in my experience) make it much easier to get a good fit and seal. Speaking of seal, these do an excellent job of sealing out outside noise. In fact, I found little difference between these and some ANC buds in terms of relative silence because the seal was that good. For me that is a real plus but, if you run outside on the street, then you need to take that into consideration as they don't have a sound pass-through mode. You can use just one bud, though, in case you need to hear ambient sound. But if you keep them both in, keep your head on a swivel. The seal is that good. The sound quality on these is very good, borderline excellent. I was very surprised because I have tried two prior versions of Jaybird's run earbuds and the sound quality was always a "meh." That included the more recent versions which had the app that allowed EQ control. This model has that as well, but sounds lightyears better regardless of the app (although the app is really nice and does help). I'm not going to get into a whole audiophile description of the sound quality, so suffice it to say that they're punchy but clear and sound very good on a variety of types of music. It's absolutely worth noting that the case is small and charges the buds. It uses USB-C and latches closed well. The buds click in with some hefty magnets. When you put the buds in they will tell you battery life remaining. Less than 100%, time to charge the case. So easy. These are also waterproof, so you don't have to worry about sweating the heck out of them during a workout. They'll keep going. Also, in my experience they don't require constant adjustments once the sweat starts to flow, and you they keep the sweat out of your ear canal due to the seal (unlike other workout buds I've owned). Overall I would absolutely recommend these buds and would buy again in a heartbeat.

Bluetooth earbuds have always been about finding a livable compromise between weight, battery life, fit, sound quality, and ruggedness. Excelling in one would often hurt the others, leaving the consumer to sort through all of them to find the product that was terrible in the ways they didn't care about. These somehow do away with all of that and are excellent across the board. It's a little freaky, to be honest. PROS: +Great size, barely bigger than a typical wired earbud +Superb fit, straight out of the box, with no uncomfortable insertion procedure. +Strong battery life, with very fast charging +Excellent passive sound isolation +Basically waterproof +Great sound, great app, connects instantly to my OnePlus +Excellent wireless performance, with no audio lag +I like the magnetic capture of the buds and closure of the case CONS: -The on-bud controls are worthless, and require you to press the bud uncomfortably hard into your head -The case is cheaply constructed, given the price

After getting a pair for my daughter over a year ago, I bought a second pair for my wife. These are comfortable to wear, stay in your ear very securely, and have better sound than the ubiquitous AirPods. They are excellent for listening to music or taking calls and everything else. Battery life is very good, and they charge pretty quickly. The case is small and easy to take with you wherever you go, and the headphones fit safely inside with a magnet so they won't accidentally fall out. They are very easy to pair with an iPhone. Get a pair for yourself, you'll be glad you did!

I love music. I love it loud & I want to hear every little note that's available in a song. So this purchase was important to me. I already returned the jabra Elite 65t. They were just flat! These jaybirds deliver! I also bough the new Powerbeats pro just to compare. I kept switching back & forth & I could tell no difference at all!!! The jaybirds are light & small. The case is small. Plus I had the option for the light grey. The buds are light grey as well as the case. On the beats the ear buds are big because they loop over your ear. The beats I bought were ivory & the case came in black. Which I didn't like. All personal taste on that. So if the sound is all the same the visual aesthetics & the price made up my mind. The Jaybirds go in & out of your ear fast. They're light weight & the sound quality is amazing! Plus they have an app where you can customize the sound to your specific hearing. Beats app sucks. Just saying. Save the $70 & buy these.

These earphones are truly amazing and they came at the perfect time as the new Sony wireless earbuds were just released - however those seemed a little overrated with limited use given lack of water resistance. Anyway with these earphones I think they are a perfect value around $150. I say that because what they offer good sound quality which I think would be more than superb for 99% of people looking at this and if you are a casual listener / use them for workouts these are ideal. It's really hard to recommend anybearbuds for super long listening. The carrying case makes it easily carriable wherever you go. The battery life is quite satisfactory and basically what the specs mention. Pairing is easy and the app is very helpful. Being able to only use one earbud at a time while the other one is charging is very useful for when just listening to something and want to hear what's around you. As soon as I move the other earbud and put it on the sound syncs seamlessly. No noticable delay when watching videos. The are very light and almost unnoticeable in the ears. Very very comfortable The buttons are a small annoyance. The clicks are not intuitive and it takes a few times to get used to them. Also when using only one earphone it is slightly confusing. It also hurts when you push them into your ear and this can be mitigated by holding it with thumb and middle finger and clicking with index finger.

Loving these! Great sound, great fit (love that it came with multiple sizes) They hold a pretty good charge for wireless headphones. Really wish they were fully noise cancelling, but I knew they weren't before purchasing so not taking it off from rating. As long as they last a good long while it will be worth the price compared to off brand wireless earbuds.

I did 3 weeks of research into the best true wireless headphones for jogging and working out. I have been working out for over 25 years and have had many headphones. My favorite of all time have been the powerbeats wireless and the Bose Soundsport. I have bought airpods for my kids and a Jabra75t. I have even owned some sony wireless headphones in my day. I can you negatives of every single one of these headphones. My fave was the soundsport due to the quality of sound and no other is better but too clunky. The powerbeats was too hard to wear with a hat or with my glasses. I could go on but i best get to the point. The Jaybird Vista True Wireless are the BEST Headphones I have ever had. Everything it claimed was true!! I have only had these for about 5 days but I have ran 5 miles one day, jumped rope, lifted, and even dancing. I also took a bath with them on. I listened to them from 4pm to 12pm and I still had 20 percent left. They only came loose once on the left side but i have small ear canal. I have had this problem with other headphones but as I said it only happened once and after that It stayed in even better. The noise cancellation is perfect. The case is flawless and charges quickly. This was the best investment ever!

I've been a Jaybird user since the JayBird Freedom 3. I continue to buy JayBird due to their product quality and durability, the JayBird Vista headphones continue to showcase JayBird's strengths. One of my biggest complaints with running headphones has been the wire connecting Earbuds, as it always tends to be either too long or causes one headphone to fall out during the run due to the constant jiggling of the cable, this problem is solved. Sound quality is excellent with these as well, and once you get the correct fit using the variety of sizes of ear pieces, they will not fall out of your ears. Additionally, my ears collect sweat during my workouts. These headphones, unlike previous models, don't appear to be phased by this and the tight fit helps keep the majority of that extra sweat out. I can highly recommend if you are an Avid runner and are tired of being tethered either by wire to your phone, or ear-to-ear!

I have only owned & used the Jaybird Vistas for ~ 2 weeks, but so far so good. Fit is excellent; I had to switch up to the larger silicon pieces but the fit is still comfortable without any feeling of them becoming loose or falling out during exercise. I like to take a long walk every morning and have no problems even after working up a good sweat. I play stored music from my Samsung Note 10 and have had no issues with the Bluetooth connection; no drops or cutouts during walking as I had with another brand I tried first. Sound out of the box is very good to excellent. Some track could maybe use a little fine tuning of the bass, but overall I am quite happy with the clarity and details I can hear with these buds. I also like that the actual speaker can be removed from the entire silicone earpiece so that the earpiece can be cleaned; smart design. First time setup was super easy and the app is also easy to use. I would highly recommend these buds to anyone looking for a reasonably priced set with great sound and fit.

One month in owning these wireless earbuds and overall I just love them. Enjoyable is the freedom of wireless. Ran with them few time already and the sound quality is great and they are relatively snug fit out of the box in their medium size capsules. Sound is customizable in the app just as advertised and it makes your sound experience definitely more tuned and tailored to your liking. Not quite sure if they last the full 6 hours on a full charge yet but they seem to run along easily with some like 3-4 outings of an hour or so each. Love the charging case and the way it feels to the touch out velvety. Cool black color case is the color I got and the inside is yellow phosphorous cool color too and the buds just sit in all neatly clamped via magnet all also just as advertised. Based on my experience so far I would definitely recommend these buds especially if you can get them with some sale discount if they run them as so anytime.

I love love this earphones, I refrained myself from buying before because they were a little pricey for my liking but once I saw them on sale I jumped and order them. No regrets so far. Great sound, actually the volume it’s a little too high for me but other would find this awesome, they give you a very nice seal so good that sometimes is scary to go out on a run with both of them on since one can hardly hear the surroundings, so sometimes I run with just one on. I would not recommend for biking though. So far they had stayed on no matter how much I move, I also like that I don’t have to turn them on just get them out of case put on my ears and they instantly connect to my iPhone, callers can hear me loud and clear sometimes too clear he he. Am pleased with my purchases o far specially since I bought them way cheaper than regular price.

i'd like to consider myself an audio nut, so when i went in search of earbuds, i was looking for some very specific things with paying $$$ as long as i was getting quality. i wanted comfort, something that wasnt going to fall outta my ear during high intensity workouts and had great sound. if had to pay for Bose and Beats, i would have but i just didnt want too. i tried the Jabra Elites Active. For starters they were clunky in the ear and never worked outta the box. i had my eyes on the JayBirds based on reviews but BB person talked me into the Jabras. I returned them and just went with my gut. Awesome sound, great app, and none of the connection headaches that you tend to hear. open em right up they connect and go about your business. Great for the $$$... Always trust you first instinct, Go JayBird!!!!
