Bought this to replace its predecessor from Logitech. Older model was great! This one is slightly different. It is my opinion that the sound quality is slightly worse (lacking good base and midrange sound. The connection cord is much shorter than the old model. The older model had cloth earpads. This one is equipped with a leatherette material which is not as comfortable. Volume dial is now on the headset instead of the inline block. This is better. The mic on/off is now activated by raising the mic boom. This too is a good improvement.

Excellent comfort and quality. No issues with sound or others hearing my voice. I really like how it automatically mutes when you point the microphone up. Volume wheel behind the ear is easily used. The option for using a usb plug or the headphone and mic jacks is also helpful.

I've bought my fair share of headsets and now having two kids playing Xbox I've had to 'invest' in more of these in a sea of many.. this is a very nice low end headset, I'd definitely purchase this again.. not reviewing sound quality or options, these are basic but they work well for the price and are durable. My kid is using this for his daily school check-in on his ipad and for Xbox. They are comfortable for adult and kids, mic works well, cord length is decent but typically is attached to ipad or xbox controller. I'd even consider looking at a higher quality logitech G headset.

Very good. Wood be better if the cord disconnected from headset as a safety mechanism so you don’t break the headset when you walk around . Otherwise, great quality for price. Logitech makes great headsets.

Like many of us, I'm working remotely due to COVID-19 and have been spending a lot of time in Zoom meetings. I wanted headphones that went around my ears and were comfortable to wear for long periods of time, something with a cord so I wouldn't have to deal with charging it, and something with a microphone so I could be heard more clearly. This headset meets all those requirements! I've only been using the USB connecter on my computer, but it does have a normal headphone jack too (although if you use that one, the microphone doesn't work). My coworkers teased me at first (this is very obviously a gaming headset, and I have more of a Karen aesthetic), but I don't care if I look like a doofus - I can hear people and the headphones don't hurt!

Hi Sarah, Thank you for this great review of our G432 Headset---very much enjoyed the "Karen" reference, but I suppose you know that "Sarah" means "princess" so you're decidedly not a "Karen". Very glad to hear that you're enjoying the performance and comfort of this headset. For some added value, I suggest you download Logitech's G Hub software which will allow you to personalize settings like EQ, your microphone volume, and much more. Good for the price, fair sound and mic works well. Got it for Zoom meetings not gaming. It could have a little heavier cable, but it works well for my use. Plug and play. Did not need any downloads. Would prefer not to need USB adapter but that is what you get. Comfortable padding on the headset. Not sure about 7.1 sound I’m plugged into a PC. Adjustable headband is nice.

I bought this headset because I was looking for something inexpensive for streaming on Twitch, and now I am very happy that I chose this purchase! I have a tiny head, and the smallest size setting fits me perfectly. The soft padded earcups fit great without pressing directly on my ears. Sound quality is great without completely canceling out noise around me. The mic has also worked great, though I will probably end up using this headset as my default gaming earphones from now on. It is 100% compatible with my Playstation 4.

High quality. When I go to adust it I tap buttons and that sometimes changes things. It is slightly heavy and can become warm. Overall, though, its good. I preferred one that wasn't wireless. This allows for you to use your soundcard or you can plug it in with the USB and it becomes the sound device.

Creates a great audio aura for gaming. The volume control is convenient on the left ear. Great gaming accessory if one is into gaming. Its worth the price tag was well considering the discounted price. The color is premium and it matched well with my Dell G3 gaming laptop which also holds a Black/Blue shade.

My son wanted a new chat headset for PC gaming. I was also in the market for a headset as well. See my related review on the Corsair HS60 Pro. This G432 was the last one on the store shelf and he swiped it out from under me and bought it before I could do so. Somehow though, I ended up paying for it. Overall, he is pleased with the headset. It sound fine and the virtual 7.1 works about as well as you would expect. It is not true 7.1 but it does ok for spatial awareness and sound placement. The cord is pretty long. Microphone is not detachable. His only real gripe is it can get uncomfortable after a few hours but he did say now that he has "broken it in", it's fine. Not sure if he is used to it or if it truly more comfortable after some use under its belt. It does come with a 4 pole to two 3 pole splitter so you can use it with 3.5mm mic and headphone jacks. The headset itself only has a single 4 pole 3.5mm plug on it. He is pleased. I prefer the Corsair unit I bought, but I think it is a matter of preference. Overall, this is also a fine unit.

I purchased this headset to replace another Logitech gaming headset that was at least 10 years old. (As a testament to the quality of the brand, the old set had held up well and still worked, but the ear pads were beginning to dry rot. After I accidentally broke the USB connector, it was only held together with duct tape.) For the price point, I think this new set is quite respectable. The sound won't blow you away with its richness or surround effects but it's good enough on both counts for your typical gaming session, and the cost won't break the bank. This headset also works well for work-related phone conferences at home (Zoom without video), which was the other reason I bought it during the coronavirus quarantine. It's reasonably comfortable for this type of equipment, but I couldn't wear it all day long. Overall, I give it a solid B.

I have purchased and returned more expensive headsets because I expected more for the price I paid. As the Billy Joel song says, "You get more milage from a cheap pair of sneakers." These headphones prove that in this case, the piano man was spot on. The sound is better than average, and the setup is plug and play. I use it with Discord while playing World of Warcraft on my Alienware X14. There was no need to download the Logitech G software, it just works. Comfort and looks are subjective, but they did not disappoint me in these areas. Catch these on sale at Best Buy to get the best possible deal. I give them 5 stars, and plan on keeping these.

Love these headphones as it’s wide enough for my big head and the mic is cool as it goes up and down comfortably. The color is a big plus! Also comes with a split adapter to plug into a device or pc with no dual port for headphone and mic. Took some time out of the box to setup and mess around to get working properly but once setup works great!

It's a cheap wired headset with no extraneous features like a USB soundcard (get the G432 for that). For the price, especially if $30 or less, this is quite reasonable, and works with every device with an audio jack, including Switch console and the Xbox/PS4/PS5 controllers. Ideal for children who are not likely to be discriminating about sound quality. Even comes with an adapter to split the 4-conductor jack into separate microphone and headphone out jacks for those who want to use with PC soundcards that separate these functions.

Exactly what I wanted! I had the G430 before, which I was happy with, but this fits over my ears even better. Much more comfortable for teaching long classes, sounds great, and the microphone design (lift boom to mute) is intuitive and works well. Solid performance at a great price!

With all the Zoom meetings I was doing, I needed a headset. I purchased a cheap pair at a discount store but the microphone was so bad that people had a hard time hearing my voice. So, got online at BB in search for a better set. I didn't need a gamers headset and didn't want to spend $$$, just $$. This headset does the job. Over the ear is comfortable, microphone works great, and I can hear others quite well. The adjustable volume control works and I like that the mic can be flipped up and out of the way. (Allows drinking coffee much easier).

Great headset for the price, comfortable, one of the only cheap headsets with GOOD surround sound. Only problem is you shouldn't expect it to last more than 2-3 years of consistent use, less if you're rough with it.
