    Breville Oracle Touch Espresso Beast

This is the most amazing espresso maker I've ever owned with all the features it offers. The machine does require some tweaking with grind, frothing etc, but there are several helpful videos on set up on YouTube. I also have the Breville Touch espresso maker which requires self tamping, but works great also.

Best machine I have had - made better by Best Buy

I have had a few espresso machines over the past 30 years. Calculating the savings over the years, I have literally saved tens of thousands while also enjoying delicious coffee. Some have been better than others. This Oracle Touch is by far the best. The only reason I am giving it four stars is that it has malfunctioned on me about 18 months into each one I have owned. I am on my 3rd Oracle Touch. Best Buy's protection program has been top shelf. I literally walked out of the store in less than 10 minutes after returning my 2nd Oracle Touch. Best Buy has a great plan.

In Home Barista!!! Easy to use, easy to clean. But warning, you need a bean of the quality of this machine, cheap roast will taste good if not very good, but espresso roasts that are fresh will really come through.

Our family loves this Espresso Machine! The Latte's and espresso are better that specialty coffee shops nearby! Yes, it's pricey - but well worth the investment.

    Coffee Snob is Happy!

I am a self proclaimed "coffee snob" where I have been researching espresso machines for the past six months and decided for our budget and needs in a home machine that the Oracle Touch is what we wanted. We have had it home now for over a month now and we are pleased with the product. We followed the directions and it does what it says. We like the automatic features for grinding, tamping, and creating our own signature drinks too. The ability to vary the grind has been helpful as we try out the local roasted espresso beans as not all beans are the same. I like almond milk in my lattes and flat whites where I find dialing up to 160 degrees with cinnamon in the milk is perfecto! You will be happy that you bought the Breville - Oracle Touch!

This is my fourth espresso machine, second Breville. It is so easy to use in comparison to the previous machines. The best thing is the consistency of the shots and the wonderful froth that it creates. My wife never used the other machines because she hated how precise everything needed to be, but now she uses this one several times a day. Also, it is so fast. You can steam the milk while getting your cup ready and grinding the coffee, then start the shot so that the milk and the shot are ready at the same time. I absolutely love this machine and think that the extra money was totally worth the ease of use.

This espresso machine is about as expensive as it gets before you would switch to a professional machine. You could make an argument that the non-touch version of the Oracle is a better value, and would certainly deliver the same results. However, this machine hits all the marks. It's miles beyond the Barista Touch. The grinder/tamper means no more mess. The double boiler cuts the time nearly in half. The water tank is larger and much easier to fill. The steam wand is more sophisticated, but unlike the Barista, this steam wand really seems to prefer a wet cloth to clean the exterior, rather than simply a paper towel. I chalk that up to the wand tip getting hotter and thereby creating a tougher milk film. The extra pressure seems to help keep shots consistent, so I'm adjusting the grind size less frequently. Also, the out-of-the-box settings are nearly perfect (aside from grind size of course) so there's less fiddling overall. TLDR - it's a very high quality machine. You won't mistake it for a La Marzocco or a machine from a high end manufacturer who specializes in espresso machines. But when it comes to general kitchen appliance manufacturers, this is as good as it gets and met my expectations.

Great machine, significantl better than single use

I've owned this machine for about 2 months. I'm only a novice home barista, but I have more experienced coffee drinkers in the family and so far everyone has loved it. Significantly better experience than using a Keurig and the wasteful pods. The touch interface is not fantastic, it could really use a more responsive display considering this is a $2,700 device. But other than that, it is designed very well and you get a reasonable amount of control over the grinding, brewing, and frothing. I would recommend at least reading the recommendations in the manual, but there are also plenty of videos available on YouTube to help you get started The main change I would make is adding a water inlet (e.g., from an RO filter) so we don't have to refill the water tank so often. Thankfully, it is very easy to add water through the top fill port.

Did I mention, I love this thing? Is it pricey? Yes. Is it worth every single penny? Absolutely. The first cup is perfect. And every cup since has been. When I moved, I loved this machine so much I refused to let anyone carry/move it aside from me. Buckled it into my front seat. I can't recommend this product enough.

As a starter , I think the auto tamping feature is pretty useful and convenient. This is a very convenient machine. The box came without the water hardness strips. So wanted to remove half a star but cannot . This machine is very expensive and one can get all the functaionites in cheaper price too.

I could barely stomach the cost, but now that we have it and use it multiple times per day, it would be hard to go back. I would buy this again and wouldn't change a thing. The adjustability of the grind, the froth, the heat, the customization, so amazing. Fits under the kitchen counter. Has a cool function to move it easily. Water refill is simple. Fresh bean hopper is awesome. Easy pullout tray for cleaning. All good and looks great! Heats quickly, has option to schedule on and off. Great for kids hot chocolate too!

Great expresso machine. Once you dial in the grind settings for the beans you are using you are good to go. Best part is that the steam wand cleans itself. The super automatics send the milk through the machine which in my option could end up causing more issues down the line. Double boiler is great to simultaneously brew and steam. The front of the drip tray scratches easily so be careful when putting items on the tray.

Upgraded from Breville Barista Express. Personally it doesnt change the coffee this one makes over the original but it is super easy to use...so much so that our teenager loves to make it and now I get to "order" my coffee at home

Great tasting coffee every time. The grinds are on the dry side after the coffee is made. We’re needing to call the manufacturer to figure out if it’s due to water pressure. We’ve already made all of the other adjustments that are possible.

With us being home more, I trying to find ways to cut back on our coffee shop habit. I tried the small espresso machines before, but I just didn’t give us the same quality that I hoping for, and I would quickly turn back to our trusty coffee shop. I decided to splurge and take a chance on the Breville Barista Pro, and I so glad that I did. After some trial and error, some fine tuning, I am able to get the perfect latte from the comfort of my own home.
