I bought this to help us get a few more years out of our carpeted stairs and our ild couch. Couch smelled like butt and stairs had that weird waxy flat spot in the middle. This machine absolutely does an incredible job! Couch no longer stinks and the stairs look almost new again. It also did a great job picking up hidden pet hair.

Good working wet vacuum, it’s not steam, it works with hot water from your sink, still works very well, I have used it to clean my car’s carpet, and to get stains out of home cloth furniture. Take a look at before and after of car cargo space. Works very well!

Pet Mess Approved!

Being a pet owner of 3 dachshunds I encounter little messes almost daily. I used to have to spray the carpet scrub it let it dry, then call a major company every 3 months to come do a cleaning. No More!
BISSELL - Little Green ProHeat Handheld Deep Cleaner steps up to the plate to clean up those spills, and messes! I put this cleaner through its paces.
First thing I noticed right of the start is that it is lightweight. It took 6 simple steps to get running and the user manual was very easy to read and go through. The tanks are easy to fill and empty when you are cleaning. The tanks are 37 oz so can do a fair amount of cleaning for stains and spots as you are not looking to do large scale rooms with this.
I tested the deep cleaner on dog urine, wine stain on couch and dirt on Crème color carpet.
Test1: Dog Urine I used Bissel Stain removal pack and used the deep stain tool. I highly recommend keeping the tool in direct contact with the carpet as to not spray everywhere. The stain was lifted and left no acidic yellow residue behind and after drying 3 days later looked like nothing ever happened.
Test 2: Wine Stain I also used the pretreatment and let it set for 5-10 minutes before cleaning it. I popped on the 3/3” tool and went to work. I cleaned it twice leaving about a 30 min gap between the cleanings and couch looks great just took long time to dry. * make sure to use the mist solution as it helps
Test 3: The dreaded walk path dirt buildup. I was skeptical of this one area because of how impacted it is and the dirt gets deep in there. After pretreating the area and doing my first cleaning, I didn’t notice a big difference. But I thought maybe another round will help and I let it set overnight. Woke up I could tell it had changed shades of color but nothing drastic to the point I was in disbelief. So, I purchased the Bissel Oxy formula for the portable cleaners, did the pre treatment again and WOW it looks about 75% better than before. This impressed me as this little portable machine was able to handle this cleaning job!
My final take is the tanks are adequate for the small jobs, but wont last long trying to do anything more than a few spots and areas. I found this product to work perfectly for Area rugs, Pet Beds, Stairs Furniture and carpet such as low pile (not shag length). The build quality is great and comes with a 2-year warranty which makes me happy because I will be using it a lot!
So, if you are in the market for a portable cleaner then this is the product you’re looking for! Pet mess approved!

We’ve had the unit for about 8 months. It worked well cleaning sofa and carpet areas. To our surprise, the pipe that connected the wand and the body broke! The suction no longer works so we’ll have to replace the whole machine. Very disappointed in the quality of a Bissell!

Mean Little Cleaning Machine

The Bissel LIttle Green is one heck of a small cleaning machine!
There is some assembly required but it's not too much nor too hard. There are two included attachments, one for general type cleaning and another for cleaning on stairs.
Our dog was kind enough to puke on the living room carpet thus providing an opportunity to put the cleaner to the test. I've attached both before and after pictures. In the past when something like this happened we'd just live with the stain but not this time. This Bissel made short work on the stain and one can't even tell where the "incident" happened. The cleaner is remarkably quiet and isn't too heavy to move around. I only have two complaints so far. The part that hooks on the back of the cleaner doesn't really do a good job of holding whichever attachment you're not actively using. Not to big of a deal in my book. The other complaint is that the cleaning head does not swivel. Again, not that big of a deal.
If you're looking for something that is semi-portable and does an outstanding job of cleaning then this is the machine you're looking for.

Eh, gets the job done but not a huge fan. Have to walk with it and carry it to vacuum sofas because the hose is too short. Needs more slack on the hose.

I needed a small carpet cleaner to follow up on some pet stains. My cat has been vomiting lately and leaving food colored stains on my rug, and unfortunately, hand scrubbing wasn't getting the job done. This is where the Little Green ProHeat Handheld Deep Cleaner comes in to save the day. I woke up this morning to find that it was time to pull this thing out of the box as the cat had left his mark upon the carpet once again.
Setting this thing up was super simple - there were seven total pieces, including the main unit itself. Two attachments, and three organizing pieces (Cord holder, hose holder, and an attachment holder). All pieces securely snap into the main unit and are keyed to only fit in the proper spot. Also included was a small sample bottle of the Bissel cleaning solution plus Oxy. From the time I opened the box to the time I was ready to start fighting stains was about 5 minutes.
Down to what really matters - how well did it get the stain out of my beige carpet? The included 3" scrubbing/extraction attachment worked well and was easy to use, and the process is essentially foolproof common sense. Following the instructions that advised a 5 minute pre-treat by spraying the solution from the wand, waiting, then performing the scrub/extraction process essentially eliminated the stain. I attribute this to both the performance of the unit as well as the quality of the included cleaning solution. Even hours later after the spot had dried, there was no trace of the stain.
One note - it uses a remarkably small amount of water/cleaning solution. I thought for sure I had to fill the reservoir to the larger amount of water, but the smaller fill line would have sufficed and still left plenty of cleaning solution left over.
All in all, this unit really delivers. In reality, a lot of the stains that a household is going to run into are smaller in nature and will require a spot cleaning rather than dragging out larger equipment that is better suited to cleaning an entire carpet rather than spot cleaning. It's compact and fits perfectly in the bottom of the linen closet - and the ease of use encourages immediate stain treatment.

Big results from a little machine

This device is actually thinner than I had expected. I almost expected it to have more of a rounded shape, like a shop vac.
It's about 4.5" x 12" x 15" and weighs in at just over 9lbs.
A pretty convenient size for storing in the closet, and small enough to carry around, but still get the job done.
The motor is 3 amps, which delivers enough suction to pick up most of the treated area, leaving a damp clean surface.
I am including a before and after picture of a couch cushion, that my kids had managed to yuck up. As you can see from the pics, the treated area came out nice and clean. Cleaning took about 1 minute, just a few quick passes back and forth with the suction brush. (it took approximately 2 to 3 hours to fully dry the remaining damp area, on it's own)
This comes with an attachment for general cleaning, and a 3 sided stair cleaning tool, that rotates to keep the suction on one edge.
the first side is flat similar to the standard tool, but the other 2 sides are actually pretty helpful with more than just stairs. the second side has bristles and suction in a concave half circle, to go around edges of stairs, cushions or chairs, etc.. and the third side has bristles and suction in a protruding triangle shape, to help you get deep into angled spots, like where the stairs butt together, or along angled edges on your furniture, or in your vehicle.
it even comes with a self cleaning head, that redirects the clean soapy water back into the suction hose, for a quick easy clean up of the machine.
With a 15ft power cord, and 4,5ft hose, searching for a close enough outlet to your spills or stains should not be a problem.
Plus the integrated heater will keep your cleaning mix nice and warm, while you work. Keep in mind that the heater only heats the tank, not the hose, so if you are waiting long intervals to spray the cleaning solution, it will probably be cold, even though the tank is still warm.
Also, keep in mind this is just a spot or small job cleaner. Bissell offers a ton of different cleaning machines and solutions for any situation. So while this might not have the same suction as the more powerful uprights,
for the size, and conveniences, this is a very effective machine, and does a great job.

Pretty good little spot cleaner

This little Green ProHeat was surprising effective in cleaning up doggie accidents for our 14 year old Boston Terrier. With some experience, I was surprised how long the relatively small container would last, cleaning around a 10x10 foot, medium-pile carpeted area before needing a refill. I could do two passes of that surface area in around 5 minutes. Of course, this requires you to do some work, so this device is not labor-saving like an upright carpet cleaner.
The heating within the unit is modest. I would use warm water when re-filling, and the in-unit heat seems to keep the solution warm, but not hot. That was fine with me, and I wouldn't reduce the rating because of it, but more heating would have been preferred.
I liked the ease of disassembly and re-assembly, to clean the chambers. It was fast and simple, which is good, as I felt I needed to rinse the collection chamber after each use (although, I would leave clean solution in the 'add' chamber, ready to go).

Bissell ProHeat - What a Clean Performance!

I opened up the box with the Bissell Little Green ProHeat Handheld Deep Cleaner inside. There were simple directions located conveniently on an open flap for putting accessories and tools on the Bissell ProHeat cleaner. It was really easy and took no time at all. Also included is a complete pamphlet with directions. I have to say, it is a sharp looking, high tech product, with the green and black accents. Every tool and attachment piece fit really well on the Bissell ProHeat unit. It was surprisingly light and the large handle on top made it easy to carry. The cord is really long so you can go quite the distance without having to plug in over and over.
• There are two 48 oz tanks. One tank that is labeled clean for putting hot tap water along with the cleaning solution (small sample in box). The tank shows how much solution plus water it should take for cleaning small areas or larger areas. The heat from the hot tap water tank has plenty of powerful cleaning with the solution.
• The other tank collects all the dirt, stains, debris and liquid from the first tank.
• The cord is 15ft long so reaching an area is not a problem with the Bissell ProHeat unit. The weight of the unit is only 9.3 lbs and obviously gets heavier when the tank is full of hot tap water. It also has a solid build so it won’t move around while cleaning surfaces, like carpet or upholstery (even car upholstery).
• The tools included are the 3 in 1 stair handle, the powerful tough stain brush handle and the Hydrorinse self cleaning tool (snapped the self cleaning tool to the handle of the unit). The 3 in 1 tool performs on each stair the front semi-circular edge. The corners are a snap to clean and the brush itself instantly cleans the surfaces. The powerful stain brush handle is better for scrubbing out spills and debris. Don’t scrub too hard, you don’t want to damage the area you are cleaning. Lastly the Hydrorinse self cleaning tool flushes trapped water through the hose to clean it. After that a simple wipe down and it will dry out.
• So now the clean tank is filled with water and solution for cleaning. Using the power clean handle, and turning the unit on, I sprayed over the stained area. In this case I cleaned half a small rug that was in the garage. I wanted to see how dirty the rug was so I clean only one side. You need to be careful with how much water and solution you put on the stain. The solution/water comes out pretty fast. If you run out of the cleaning solution visit your local Bestbuy to get another bottle.
• First I turned the Bissell ProHeat unit on after spraying the half of the left side of the small rug, I let the solution soak in for about 4-5 minutes. Then I turned on the Bissell ProHeat unit again. I went in a motion perpendicular, back and forth, across the 3 inch power stain brush. I vacuumed up the water/solution, debris and stains. I let the left side of the rug set dry. There was a stark difference from the left side I cleaned compared to the right side which I didn’t clean. Not much cleaning solution is needed so the bottle should last a lot more than a few removing stains.
• I dumped the clean tank first and dried it out. Then the other tank I emptied and rinsed out the used water and solution in the sink. I did the best I could to dry it right away but you may need to let set out to dry before attaching it back to the unit.
• I took a picture of the rug’s left and right side. The left side of the rug’s color returned, the nap of the rug had debris removed, and overall left side had more pop to it. The right side was still dull and matted down. I am very pleased how the clean (left) side differed from the unclean (right) side. The Bissell ProHeat made all the difference in cleaning up the left of half of the small rug.
If you have some tough stains, debris, or spills that just sit around your home, try the Bissell ProHeat to lift them from the carpet, upholstery, stairs or like me, a small rug. With a 15ft cord and a 48 oz clean tank put the right amount of cleaning solution in the tank which is marked on its side. This sturdy and simple but effective machine does what it is supposed to do. And that is to help you keep your home clean and stain free!

My Best Cleaning Supply Purchase

I so desperately needed to get some stains out of my office chair and spot clean some stains on my carpet that I’ve been sitting on for months. I saw this & I thought to just try it out. I’ve used one of the bigger Shark vacuum ones and it did it’s job but probably not as great as I wanted it to (took too long to dry, bulky, etc). With this, though, The process was super simple, easy to set up, it’s small and compact so you can fit it anywhere without it taking too much space in the closet, and has so much suction power that it dries quickly. The only thing is the hose is a little too tight to wrap around the machine so be careful putting it back. I had a little leak the second time I used it, but it was an easy fix — I just had to make sure the hose was fully pushed back and sealed. Besides that, this is a great cleaning purchase.

Life saving piece of equipment. I used this in my car and pulled out so much nastiness. I mean one corner was completely black. It was insane. Then, I brought it over to my carpet in-home. My mother's dog makes it a habit of peeing on my carpet. So, I worked on those spots. Came right out. You can see the gross stuff in the tank. I also used it for dried chocolate milk, came out. Vomit, came out. Worth it if you have carpets and dogs/babies. I wish it had more industrial suction but it does a FANTASTIC job. Pulling out the bulky machine for one spot was becoming a lot. I do wish it came with an arm extension though as I am pregnant and applying pressure to the spots on the floor is hard but darn it, I can't complain at all! So worth the price and what it does! I'm so happy I bought this thing.

I've had this product for close to two years now. I initially bought it because I spilled we dirt on my carpet. No fun! This was recommended by the sales reps at BBUY along with the cleaner. It was an excellent recommendation! My carpet looks good as new. It has been great removing pet urine and fabric stains on furniture. I would recommend!
