Wonderfully lightweight cordless vacuum with really powerful suction! Worth every penny to upgrade to this model from my old Dyson upright from 12 years ago. Loving how quickly I can vacuum each space in my home. It holds a charge long enough to vacuum multiple rooms at once. The multiple attachments go on and off easily, and emptying the canister is simple too.

Love this vacuum!! Picks up everything off the floor. Love all the attachments that come with the vacuum. Supper light weight and easy to use. The trigger on the vacuum sometimes does hurt after awhile of using. But over all love it!

We bought this vacuum due to its portability. The suction is good. Probably, not as great as the regular dyson, but for me the trade is worth it. It is lightweight, very easy to use, has multiple attachments, which are great. Also, the hair doesn’t get tangled in the brush, it goes in the filter chamber, which is easy to clean. I am very happy with the purchase.

Tremendous replacement for old upright Hoover

I decided to try this Dyson V11 Torque Vacuum as a replacement for an old Hoover WindTunnel Vacuum that lost its latch to lock it in the upright position. It had become awkward to maneuver. The new Dyson is very light - only 9 pounds - and can be maneuvered with only one hand. It can reach places easily that would require moving furniture for the Hoover upright. I first used it following a usual cleaning with the Hoover upright, and I was amazed at the huge amount of dog hair that the Dyson was able to find and remove after a routine cleaning by the Hoover. It was very simple to empty right after using and not at all messy. The exhaust from the machine is at the top near the trigger. It is not hot, but it is strong enough that it has blown loose papers off my desk when cleaning nearby. The unit is lightweight, and construction appears “solid,” but I would not say “sturdy.” Attachments connect easily, and I hope the unit will hold up over time to justify the price. I think I could buy 2 Hoover uprights for what this Dyson cost. So far, it looks to be worth the money.

Previously owned a Dyson animal ball that didn't last very long due to the way the hose was so I decided to try this battery powered one. Makes using the attachments easier. Auto setting is great from wood floor to tile to carpet. works on thick and short carpet with no issues so far. Turbo setting pulled way more dirt out of the carpet than the animal ball ever did. Couch attachment is easy to use and works great for home/vehicles. Battery life is okay depending on the task your doing. If you have alot of carpet in the home it may take more than one charge to complete. The only issue I have had with mine so far is with the trigger. Sometimes it just stops working for a second and then starts right back up again. Completely random.

Amazing product, the battery last me just enough to clean the whole house. Nice design, easy to store, the suction is great for a cordless vacuum. Good for both hats floors and carpets. It might be a bit heavy for somebody

After using this vacuum now for little over a month, I have to say this has been one of the most useful purchases I've made. This vacuum is incredibly powerful. We have a little 6' throw carpet and on the "boost" setting, it literally picks up the carpet. I have to use the auto mode, otherwise the vacuum's suction power is too strong. On mixed usage (auto and boost modes), I've vacuumed hard floors, carpet & stairs on a single charge. The dustbin is more than adequate in size and easy to empty. The thing I appreciate the most is the convenience of the vacuum. As it tucks in a small little area on the wall, its much more convenient to use than dragging out corded canister style vacuum we had. Last thing I'm considering buying is the soft roller cleaner head accessory. The motorhead attachment the V11 comes with works good on hard floors, I'm just curious how much better the soft roller cleaner head accessory is. I'll have to do some more research. Overall, great purchase and I would highly recommend it.

Yes this cordless vacuum is expensive. Previous versions were not worth it either. They all had abysmal battery life so they were practically useless. I'm happy to say the battery power on version 11 is amazing. I can clean my whole house that has upstairs carpet and downstairs tile and still have power left over. Suction power is awesome and has three settings. Rarley do I ever need to use the Mac setting. The normal settings work for most all applications. Only bad thing I can say about this is that there is no way to have the vacuum stay on without holding down the trigger. It was seriously a head scratcher why they would do this. Having to hold the trigger pressed in the whole time is very lame. Still though this vacuum is finally worthy of the price and name. Do not buy previous versions no matter how cheap or else you will get a vacuum that lasts 10 mins or less. With this one standard mode lasts 40 minutes.

We bought the V11 to replace a Dyson Animal we got 15 years ago (that we have passed down to our son to use). We were looking for something lighter and easier to use. We were also a little apprehensive about the battery life of a cordless vac & smaller canister but we have not been disappointed! Because of it's lighter weight and ease if use, we find we use it more often but for lesser periods of time. It is very easy to pick up and clean quickly then dock it to recharge. The display gives us between 45 min to 1 hour of use (depending on the setting) but we have not had to use it that long yet. The canister is also very easy to empty and go back to cleaning. The attachments that come with the vac are easy to switch out and make cleaning the whole house (not just the floors) a breeze. From the sofa and chairs to the blinds, the V11 does it all. The price is higher but it is well worth the expense.

This is a great vacuum! We have used a corded Dyson vacuum for years and love it but we bought this for the convenience of no cord. The vacuum is easy to handle and works great on hard floors and carpet. It sucks so well that it “grabs” area rugs to well so that took some getting used to. We have a yellow lab that sheds a lot as well as a cat and this handles the fur fantastically. For us the battery last and we have never ran out of “juice” yet (we have a 1200 square foot condo with carpet in bedrooms and tile/vinyl wood doors with are rugs elsewhere). I see this vacuum lasting for years to come!

I have to upgrade this V11 Torque to replace my Dyson Animal mainly because I upgrade my flooring for laminate instead of carpets. I trust this brand, Dyson, I have always like their technology. This runs last much longer than other one. I was irritated when the power ran out I have to recharge my old cord-free vacuum. I wanted get everything done on the same day, not just "waiting" This vacuum has 3 different speed, the higher power can run out of the battery only when I needed it. That really helps to to pick up something on the floor such as the dog food or cat food, etc. It does feel a bit different when I used to my old Dyson but it is really easy to use. It takes time to learn how to use it. It always has the flaws; it isn't the most perfect vacuum but I am very happy with it.

This vacuum is amazing. It's lightweight compared to our old full size Dyson DC14 animal vacuum. It also cleans way better. I used to think our full size, plug into the wall Dyson was getting the house clean but even after using that one this new cordless V11 was able to pick up an entire canister worth of extra dust, hair, and debris that was left behind. We've had out current DC14 Animal vacuum for nearly 15 years and have never seen a need to upgrade. I had purchased this cordless vacuum on sale with the intention of using it to spot clean the house and then use the full size corded Dyson to do once a week deep cleaning but after using this for over a week now I see absolutely no need to ever pull out the full size Dyson again. For lack of a better word, I am smitten. This thing rocks!

This vacuum has the suction power you expect from Dyson and is extremely convenient with its size and attachments. The attachments connect and disconnect very easily. The waste canister is easy to use also. One downside is that the canister is a bit small, but this vacuum isn't really intended to vacuum the entire house of shag carpet. In my house, we use it primarily downstairs which is mostly tile (2 of the rooms are carpet) and with the sensor on the motor, it automatically provides the amount of power needed depending on the surface. We also use this for the carpeted stairs. The other Dyson upright vacuum is extremely clunky when it comes to stairs. This vacuum cleans the stairs wat better. So far, its turned out to be a great buy.

It is amazing how much dirt and dog hair this thing picks up; It is super quiet and easily converts between the tools for use on stairs and floors. The automatic sensing function works great when moving from carpet to tile. Was able to do the whole stairs and downstairs with plenty of charge left after I was done. The only downside to it cleaning so great was that I had to empty the canister multiple times, but that in itself is super easy to empty.
I always read lots of reviews on products before I buy and this one definitely comes thru. You might pay a steeper price for this, but it is worth the extra cost in the user friendly design, excellent continuous suction power and quality feeling.

I think Dyson vacuum's are some of the best. After using various cord-free Dyson vacuum, I will not go back to a corded vacuum.
I started with the V-6. Then, I moved up to the V-10. This year I moved to the V-11.
I am impressed with the automatic suction feature, which adjusts the suction based on the floor to conserve battery. In this mode, I believe the vacuum is a little quieter than the V-10. Also, the footprint is slightly smaller. I only have a single battery, I like the fact that the batteries are hot swap-able. If one can easily obtain a second battery.
As for the tools, all Dyson vacuum's V7 and newer use the same toolset.

Overall it's a good vacuum. Honestly, for the price, I expected more. Maybe my expectations were too high for a cordless stick vacuum, but come on, it costs 700 bucks.
The good: No cord, that's awesome. The weight is very nice. The ability to easily vacuum my stairs is great. I like having a battery indicator. Attaching and removing attachments is simple and the attachments stay attached. Easy to dump the canister. It's quiet, quiet, quiet!
The not so good: The power head is too small. It won't always detect that I transitioned from carpet to wood and vice versa. I only get 15 minutes of power in boost mode and I have a dog that sheds and A LOT OF CARPET. I need boost mode and I feel as if many of us do and the battery takes several hours to fully charge.
If I had to do it over again I'd literally flip a coin to decide if I got this again or the big ball corded Animal. However, my wife and daughter would give this vacuum 5 stars and would purchase this vacuum again.
