Customers regard the keyboard as having a nice feel and the long battery life as excellent. They also appreciate the pencil holder and the fact that the case is easy to use. However, some customers find the case to be relatively heavy and wish it was slimmer.

This keyboard is a cheaper & better alternative to the Apple one. It’s super easy to use, lightweight, and great protection for my pro!

This 'folio' keyboard is well made and works nicely with my new 12" iPad Pro, but where the disappointment comes in is when I compare it to my previous LogiTech Keyboard for my previous model of the 12" iPad... the new one offers no easy/quick way to convert the iPad from 'stand-up' keyboard mode, back to just a flat iPad. When you unmount the iPad from the magnetic strip and want to use the iPad as a flat surface you're left with a bulky keyboard flap on the underside that doesn't remain closed like the previous model. Very Poor Design in my opinion!!! Basically, just be prepared that once you install this LogiTech Keyboard Folio to your iPad you are basically converting it to a mini iOS laptop and no longer gives you the freedom of a flat surface iPad without being bulky and clumsy.... not to mention quite heavy. ~ This is coming from someone who has used LogiTech products for a number of years and has always been quite satisfied with their ingenuity. ~ One final note... the ONLY reason I didn't go with the Apple Keyboard is because it has no backlight for the keyboard! Apple seriously needs to add this feature to their iPad Keyboard Folios!

This works just like the Apple keyboard. I’ve owned two of these keyboards. One with my first Apple 12.9 pro, then the 12.9 ( 2018 ) pro. I was disappointed but, understood why the same keyboard wouldn’t fit. ( duh, we have full screen potential of the 12.9 ( 2018 ) , the 1st generation had the home screen ) Anyways, both keyboards worked just like they were supposed to and the backlighting is a plus. I had to return a keyboard from Amazon ( a knockoff) because it claimed that it worked just like the Logitech.

Logitech has been a go-to for some years now, a dependable provider of tech accessories worthy of its name. This blue tooth activated cover for the iPad Pro is the latest example of excellence in design. It pairs easily with the device, and gives a whole new dimension for using an iPad without having to hold it. Conveniently converts the iPad into a laptop configuration, and feels sturdy enough to protect while traveling. It also has a handy holder for the Apple Pencil, and works well as an easel.

The Logitech Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for the latest generation of Apple iPad Pro 12.9" will be great case for some and nonstarter for others. Overall, it is probably the best keyboard case out there. The keyboard is nicely spaced with very good tactile feel and a back light. One of the complaints I have with the Apple iPad Smart Keyboard Folio is the tactile feedback of the keyboard is not good. There is nothing that Apple could do about that, they were concentrating on keeping the Smart Keyboard Folio thin. With the Logitech, the keyboard does not have that issue. In fact, it is as close to a laptop keyboard you will find (until Brydge comes out with theirs.) The case protects your iPad well on every side and all corners. All the buttons work fine with the case on and there are no issues with sound. A very nice touch on the Logitech Slim Folio is they included a flap that goes over the Apple pencil to make sure it does not fall off the magnetic pencil charger. What a great idea, I bet Apple is kicking themselves for not thinking about that feature first. To make the Logitech even better, it is a whopping $70 less expensive than the ridiculous prices Apple Smart Keyboard.
So what is the downside of the Logitech Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case? As I earlier indicated, there is a nonstarter here for some – it is bulky. At its thickest point, the Logitech is 13/16 of inch thick (that is at the flap.) The rest of the cover puts you iPad Pro at 3/4 of an inch. Compare that to a MacBook - .52 of an inch at it’s thickest and tapers down to .14 of an inch. I know we are really on talking about a 1/4 of an inch here but think of it this way – it is a 50% increase in thickness. There is the decision you have to make, lose the svelteness of the iPad Pro with a OEM Folio Smart Keyboard to gain a superior keyboard and far superior protection.

Logitech makes good quality products- this is no exception. I have been using this since January and it’s great. It’s got a long battery life. The keyboard is easy and functional. The only odd thing I encounter is it automatically double spaces sometimes- or appears to on Facebook. Not a big deal. I haven’t had it do it on Microsoft word. Overall, a great keyboard- highly recommend it if you need one with a keyboard and don’t want to pay Apple’s cost.

This Keyboard connects flawlessly with the iPad Pro 3rd generation. It conserves power well (battery lasts a long time). Has a nice viewing angle for drawing with the Apple Pencil. The adjustable back lighting is helpful in limited lighting. The keys travel so that you do not feel like you are tapping on cardboard.
If you plan on taking the case off and putting it on frequently be aware that the case corner without the camera can be troublesome.

I bought the Slim Folio Pro with my new iPad Pro and it works great. It’s got backlit keys, it’s easy to set up, the iPad fits securely and it’s well protected, however, it’s too bulky and heavy. This defeats my purpose for getting it. I travel frequently and this keyboard is thick and weighs more than the laptop that I’ve been carrying. I’m afraid that I’ll be returning it and fork out the difference for the Apple keyboard.

I never paid anyone to put a screen protector on for me. I’m the turn the shower on let the bathroom get all hot and steamy so the dust drops to the floor and install my screen protectors. But with this screen protector costing $65 (iPad Pro 12.9) and being so ridiculously big I figured why not. The Best Buy employee took his time roughly 5-10 min and man it’s perfect. Every side was set evenly and absolutely no air bubbles. Thank you!

If you use the Apple Pencil, the lack of having a good angle to write is this case’s biggest downfall. The Apple Pencil fits perfectly on top. One thing to note is that it does add significant weight to the device. Also, if you’re not careful, you can easily scratch the material, which is also a bummer considering the price. I have yet to drop my iPad, but it is well protected (all borders). I went from a windows to an apple device, so I’m not sure what the shortcut keys are. Otherwise, it’s an amazing case.

I haven't used many cases before. I previously had a case with a removable keyboard. This was also with an older version of the IPad. This feels just as protective and supportive, however, I don't like the idea of how it folds away with the keyboard exposed.
It takes a little getting use to have it folded up as it does. Though you don't have to worry about accidentally pressing a button I still think oops each time I do.
Overall, this has been a good product. Just a few revisions and it could be great.

I purchased both the apple keyboard and this Logitech keyboard for my iPad Pro 3rd gen to see which one I would like. After 1 week of using both, I highly suggest this keyboard over the apple keyboard as it is higher quality in my opinion and you save $60. This keyboard case has small details like backlit keys which I feel is nice to have.

We have owned this less than a year and the magnetic strip broke. Contacted Logitech for a warranty replacement. Overall, not a bad case, but you have to remember how to charge it and then reconnect it to the iPad. Drives me nuts every few months to get it working again. Not entirely sure how protective it is, I dropped it once on carpet and all is good.

I opted for this keyboard because I did not like the performance features of the Apple keyboard & hated the feel of the letters when typing. I wanted something that felt much more like a desktop computer and the Logitech keyboard has been everything I wanted and more! Feels like a laptop with my iPad 12.9in Pro. + the price is much better in comparison to the Apple keyboard.

Good case. Does protect, but makes the Ipad heavy. Since buying this, I have gone back to the smart cover.
