Maybe i should not have expected so much from a robovac but could never get it to map the house despite of hours of letting it create one. It also requires quiet a bit of babysitting

Vacuum works great. Ive yet to have to empty the bin. It’s pretty loud, but I’ve grown to ignore it. Only thing is that it gets scuff marks on the front from bumping into everything. You would think the camera would detect something and stop a few cm or mm from the wall but no, it bumps into everything like a junebug! Other than that, i love having it!

Easy to use, does as advertised. I am happy with this purchase. We have a new baby in the house that has an allergy to pet dander. We run the vacuum at night time and it has proven to reduce the baby’s exposure to the pet dander in our home.

I use it almost daily in the rooms with doors. It takes a long time to clean areas without doors as it’s somewhat random in the way in the way it cleans. It cleans well, though! It was a bit pricy, I like the convenience of the self emptying bin! So didn’t mind paying for it!

Great cleaning power!!! Can hear and see the suction power! Be careful not to suck up anything big. Mine I had to return because Black Plastic Pieces from suction exhaust broke loose…. Started making loud noise, tried to figure out what was wrong, couldn’t figure it out. It lasted for 29 days before breaking.

Love this vacuum! Excellent suction power and keeps my floors tidy despite having 2 large dogs and 2 toddlers. The only thing I wish is that it had reusable bags/bin. I have to switch bags often (says it will hold 60 days, but I have to change mine mid week). I do run it almost everyday.

I will start by saying that I live with a Japanse Akita dog. Awesome dog but twice a year during the shedding period, I get 1+1 free! I get another dog daily in the amount of fur ! If only I could show you before and after that Roomba: Before: I was hand vacuuming the house once per day, and by the middle of the day, the floors were full of hair, hair everywhere as if they had been accumulated over 5 years! After: The Roomba s9 gets every single hair from the floor, as well as anything else, and she is vacuuming twice per day during the shedding period and once a day during normal times. Both me and the dog are leaving the room that the Roomba is cleaning, due to the noise. Powerful, Noisy, Monster: but when it's done... you tell yourself how well did you do that you bought it. I prefer the noise but the perfect result, than a quiet one which doesn't pick everything up from the floor.... I live on a flat apartment, no carpets, no uneven surfaces, (although it can jump on slightly uneven surfaces) so if you have stairs, etc.. I am not sure how it will do.

Almost perfect but two major flaws

If comparing against Neato or other brands, this would still be a 4/5 star product. However, I rate it 3 because it takes a few steps backwards from previous generation Roombas, on certain aspects. I own a roomba 980, and it’s clear the build quality is significantly lower. It is also extremely loud compared to any other robot vacuum I’ve owned or seen. Due to a flaw in design, if the floor is slightly uneven, it makes a loud grinding noise. I reached out to support, and they quickly sent a replacement cleaning head. After replacing it, it ran slightly quieter for a really short run, but then proceeded to make the grinding noise. We can’t be in the same room or even in an adjacent room while it’s cleaning because it’s so loud. Another issue is there’s no option for reusable bags, so you’re forced to throw away the bag, which is a huge waste. Aside from that, this product is pretty amazing, it’s never gotten stuck, really cleans better than any other robot vacuum I’ve encountered, and almost never needs to be emptied (I still haven’t needed to empty it and we’re getting close to two months)

Horrendous. DO NOT BUY! I thought that the more expensive, the better and that is not the case. I had issues with the self-emptying aspect a month after purchase, but continued use and emptied the vacuum myself. There have been so many bugs since, but for the past month it is no longer going about the house to clean. It gets stuck and stays stuck. I checked my paperwork and I am well within the factory warranty. I just got off of a 40 minute phone call for them to tell me that there’s nothing they can do. I will never purchase this brand ever again. BEWARE!

As someone that stresses about cleaning the floor, I really like this product. I can turn it on, and I don't have to think about it. The only drawback is that sometimes it can get caught in the furniture, but once it maps your house and you create "keep out" zones, that problem shouldn't happen anymore.

I had issues with my Roomba i7 sucking up its parts. Yes, twice our wonderful addition to the family lost, found and sucked up it’s floor tracking sensors. This time I decided to upgrade to the Roomba i9. It does a pretty good job. However, it is very noisy. But, I’ll take the loud acoustics for a well vacuumed floor.

What I didn't like: 1. Kept getting stuck under chairs. 2. It's too loud. 3. Not that great for a large house. It did not finish its mapping after many runs. I wanted the kitchen area cleaned but it would not go there because it wants to map the same area everytime.

Roomba works relatively well, but takes a while to map the house. Get stuck in the same spot. Seems to do a good job. Green roller on bottom got torn and have order another. No one store seems to have all the supplies to support this unit. On a bright note, floors do look cleaner.

The vacuum itself is amazing and the dust self emptying is worth every penny. Its a really good vacuum the power is almost as good as our upright. Down side we are on our second one after commutation issues plagued the first one after a week. We had some issues with our current one and had to delete the map. and it seams to be working ok for now. Another thing that is a little disappointing is run time and charging. We have a 2000+ sqft ranch. It will take all day to run the map and sometimes it doesn't even get to the whole house in that time. We have mostly thick carpet and its on high power pretty much the whole time. If we had hard floors I doubt that would be a problem. Just for large carpet owners should be aware of this.

To begin with this is a great sweeper. I like the home base having the bin as it saves on having to clean it after runs. It works well, but dont expect it replace a good cleaning by a hand held. I use this daily mainly for dog hair and general dust. It handles them very well. I have the Google next max and tell it to clean every morning while I go upstairs to do my workouts. The map learning does work decently well, but it seems to just love some rooms over others and takes many many training runs for it to learn the rooms. So the cons are that it does not do well around a table and chairs it constantly got stuck. I also have a medium pile carpet in one of my rooms that this thing just cannot handle. So I had to block this room off with barriers to not allow it in that room to clean. This also requires a good amount of light to work as its sensor is light based, which may be a draw back for some as you cant have it run at night unless the rooms are well lit. After all is said and done I'd still buy this again, because I love to just say "hey google, clean mud room" and off it goes.

Outstanding unit. We have had 2 other Roomba’s and this one just the best job by way. Easy to use. Easy to map the house, easy to create exclusion zones to keep it out of areas you want it in, and it empties itself.
