It truly is a loud device yet more compact than most speakers that are similarly priced. It is easy to carry around in a backpack and even has a stretchable, thick fabric loop with rubber grip to hang on things like hooks (pictured) or bike handles. ---EXPECTATIONS--- The product meets my expectations in all areas except for one. This device is great for listening to music indoors and outdoors. However, if you plan on using it to have a louder boom to your mobile games or while watching a streamed show on your phone or tablet, there is a noticeable desynchronization between the sound and the action on screen. For music, that doesn’t matter, but for video content, you can tell it’s there. Most of my other bluetooth speakers have that issue as well, but I own some that don’t. If you are using this strictly for the music, then this speaker will more than satisfy you. ---VALUE--- The price for the speaker in terms of value is on par with other equally powerful speakers on the market. Making it waterproof gives it an advantage over others, though. ---APPROVAL--- I highly recommend this product for people who need loud music on the go and may potentially take it near watery areas, like a pool or outdoors while it rains. The sound will not disappoint you.

This is the second wonderboom I have bought so with two I now have stereo sound. On the plus side it floats and is waterproof.

The 360° Sound feature is amazing! we attached carabiners to the loop to be able to hang the speakers from things, I hang my red one from the vacuum with a big clip! The ability to link two is super cool! My only complaint is that tomorrow it will be one month of owning two of them and one of the cords it came with has already died! That’s the only reason I didn’t rate this five stars.

Excellent speaker! Much better quality and sound than many other larger comparable speakers. Would definitely buy again! It’s so cute too!

I've had my eyes on a UE Wonderboom for a while now! With the 2nd version I went ahead and got one and I am excited that I did for many ways. I won't bore you with all of them and just provide the top three. Sound quality is crisp and really pushes through barriers. I love all sorts of music from Susan Boyle, Machine Gun Kelly, The Wandering Hearts, and Ben Platt. A little easy listening, rap, folk, and pop gives me some idea of how the speaker will workout for me and my life. I like how portable this is because I love to listen to podcasts at my desk in the morning and play some classical music to get my day going. Then I can toss this little speaker into the shower on my shelf and have a mid-day sing-a-long in the water and not worry about destroying my speaker. Which brings me to waterproofing the speaker. It was a great idea to carry this over into the second version where it is dust proof and water proof. Living in Texas we often visit the river or lake for relief from the heat during hot summer days. I recently took this on a river trip with me where it outlasted many speakers on our three hour trip and had better sound quality even when splashed with water. It felt good to have people come up and tag alongside our group to share the music and fun. Lastly is the design quality and battery life. I went for the darker speaker with grey accents and a blue tone handle. It reminds me of the yoga pants I have that are trendy enough to take to a restaurant but also go and get sweaty at the gym. So a very unsuspecting speaker that provides more than meets the eye. Hopefully, your take away is that UE came to the table and brought a small speaker with a big voice. I am in love and can't wait for my next outdoor adventure with my Wonderboom 2.

Outdoor boost is a great option and love the magic button, wanted proof and floats. It's a steal for 80-100.

Bluetooth Speakers are becoming more and more common so companies need to do something to truly stand out. UE has really done it again with this Wonderboom 2! PROS: - I really like the design of this! It's basically the size of a softball and looks really sleek. - Set Up is very basic and straight forward: sync with the Bluetooth button and you're connected to your Mobile device. - The simplicity continues with the controls. You can play/pause/next song, change the volume, and there is a dedicated button to boost the sound outdoors. It's also worth noting that the volume buttons sync up with your mobile device unlike some speakers. - For such a small speaker, it produces great sound! It's loud with bass and clarity - and it really impressed with how it can fill an indoor or outdoor space. - The portability is a major selling point. You can carry it in one hand with easy, strap it to your belt, or your bike. This is really a speaker that will provide a big addition to your day without having a large footprint. - Lastly, I love how durable this speaker is! You can drop it on the ground, mud, or in the lake without breaking or damaging it. It floats too which is great if you have the speaker pool or lake side. CONS: - My biggest issue is that it charges with Micro USB and Not USB-C. USB-C is the becoming the standard and it's pretty disappointing that UE couldn't get with the times. - With it's size, it of course doesn't get as loud or bassy as UE's bigger speakers but that's too be expected for the portability aspect. - The speaker has no Voice prompts as in "Power On/Off" or "Battery at 90%". Instead it just makes pings that don't make a ton of sense. BOTTOM LINE: - If you want a super portable speaker that can handle the elements and fits in the palm of your hand, this speaker will blow you away with it's quality and sound!

I’m so happy this speaker version is compatible with my iPad. I’ve had a wonderboom model before but it eventually stopped working. Thankfully I have purchased the warranty with Geek squad this time! I also have an SRS-XB10 but it isn’t fully compatible with my iPad there is a volume limitation.

Is good speaker, Maybe the battery does not last long, but the rest of the features are fine, the volume is strong.

I already have the Wonderboom and could not wait to try the new Wonderboom 2. I really love the first one and wanted another one to pair or "party up". Right out of the box everything about this speaker is quality. From the packing materials, to the charging cables, and especially the speaker itself. It is heavy, rugged and just feels good in the hand. You can tell that this is a very high quality Bluetooth speaker. There are thousands of cheap Bluetooth speakers out there and it is nice to see a very high quality one. Once you turn it on for the first time it automatically goes into pairing mode. I simply found it on my phone and selected it and it was paired. I then turned on Pandora and tried to sample the sound. Wow! It sounds awesome!! I wondered if it sounded better than my original Wonderboom so I had to connect them. All you have to do is connect both Wonderboom speakers then press the UE button on each for 3 seconds to "party up" and output sound to both speakers. I loved it! I had stereo sound coming from my original Wonderboom and new Wonderboom 2. The sound on the Wonderboom 2 is actually better. The sound was improved from the original. I then walked it around my house for a blind test and every one in the house agreed that the new one sounds better than the original. I am very impressed and recommend the Wonderboom 2 to anyone who likes to have the best quality of every day use items such as a Bluetooth speaker. It also withstands anything you can throw at it like all of the elements and even simply leave it in the shower. This is my all time favorite speaker.

Now EU comes with higher specs from its predecessor. 13 playtime on a single charge. I got a chance to use it intermittently for 2 days and still have charge. Quality of sound where my area of focus has exceeded my expectations. Super clear and bass much noticeable. I took it with to work and class was excited when I have connected 2 devices simultaneously to, but am limited to stream from one device at a time. Protection rate is IP67 means it is water-proof and dust-proof. I am just amazed how clear sound it produces and the premium quality of the materials. Nice looking the fabric is Very Neat!

THE BREAKDOWN: This is easily one of my favorite bluetooth speakers. It doesn’t have a lot of the bells and whistles some of the other bluetooth speakers have. It really doesn’t need it. It has a simple and easy to use design. The packaging was very well done. It was just enough packaging to get the product delivered. In the box was everything needed to get this product up and running. The initial setup was simple I had it connected to my phone in just seconds. I really like the design of the speaker, the big plus and minus volume buttons, very simple yet effective. The body was covered in a waterproof fabric and the top and bottom of speaker had a rubbery feel. I feel the size if perfect especially if you like being in the outdoors. There is also rubbery loop handle on the top. The sound is very good. This speaker can get really loud and had an outdoor boost feature that makes it even louder without distorting the sound. I did however feel that when the volume was around 75% the bass was a little distorted. I use it daily in my workout room and it is more than loud enough. I tried it outside as well and it yielded the same results, very nice and loud. The range was very good I could go all over my house with my phone and the speaker never missed a beat. The battery life is excellent as it states. I believe they stated 13 hour battery life and I use this everyday for at least 2 hours and only charged it 6 days and it still had battery life. Another negative item with this speaker would be there is no way to tell the exact battery level. PRO’s: -Very well built and stylish -Super easy to get setup -Simple to use -Very portable -It is waterproof -Has Outdoor Boost -Sound is very good CON’s: -Sound gets distorted at louder levels -No way to tell the actual battery level SUMMARY: Overall, I feel that this product is really good for the price. Very simple and very portable. I would recommend this to a friend if they are in the market for something like this.

I love my UE MegaBoom and was wanting to find something a bit smaller that would be easier to take on the road with my kids. The new WonderBoom 2 seemed like a no-brainer since I already have the MegaBoom 2. For starters, the WonderBoom cannot be controlled by the UE App or paired with the MegaBoom - but you can pair multiple WonderBoom 2's together for stereo sound. This also means that unlike it's bigger siblings, the WonderBoom doesn't have an equalizer option to tweak sounds - you get what you get, but that's honestly great enough. Just like other UE speakers, the WonderBoom 2 has a BT pairing, power, and play/pause button on top. There's also the standard micro-USB charging port on the back. If you have the puck for charging a MegaBoom / MegaBlast speaker - just know it will not work on the WonderBoom. That's because on the bottom of the WonderBoom is the button to initiate an "Outdoor" mode that is designed to make the thing sound better in an outdoor environment. I haven't noticed a tremendous difference - it sounds great either way. You might notice a difference given the amount of ambient noise outside compared to the noise that was around me when I tried it out. Just like my MegaBoom, the WonderBoom 2 is safe to use in the pool or shower. Logitech even points out that the WonderBoom can float in the pool. I've used it in the shower listening to music, podcasts and audiobooks and we've had it by our pool too. I haven't had a reason to test how well it floats in the water though. The build quality is sturdy and strong, like other UE speakers I have. If you want something that is a great, no-frills, BT speaker that is meant to be used outdoors, then the WonderBoom could be what you're looking for. If you're an audiophile and want to customize the sound more, then you'll need to look at the MegaBoom or MegaBlast products.

Very impressed. The sound for the size is so good. (Figuring out battery level is not simple) This little guy is tough. Don’t worry about dropping it. I like the giant vertical plus and minus line being the volume control buttons. (you can have it immersed one meter (about 3 feet) underwater for 30 minutes) but it does float. close the little rubber door that has the USB charger input before getting it wet. Push the UE button once to play or hit pause. Press again to resume the track. Tap it twice to skip to the next song. Long press it to sync with another speaker. Pairing was easy. battery lasted 6 hours & might last longer at a lower volume. You can push both volume buttons at the same time and it gives you an audio tone, nothing visual. Only thing I don’t like.

Form factor/Build Quality: This little guys packs a solid punch of audio! This speaker is extremely solid and exudes quality. The bottom of the speaker is a silicon/rubber material that helps prevent audible vibration when this this is on full blast. The front has large + and - buttons for increasing or decreasing audio. There is an elastic strap on the top rear for hanging, attaching to a backpack, or making it easy to care place to place. The speaker itself is wrapped in a touch fiber/fabric that won't easily get snagged or messy. This thing even bounced if you drop it on the ground. It feel as though this thing is close to indestructible. Pairing/Bluetooth: Connecting to this speaker could not be easier! Power on the speaker via the power button on the bottom of the speaker then press and hold the pair button on the bottom of the speaker, go to the Bluetooth setting on your audio device (in most cases this will be a cell phone) and you will see the speaker as a connectable device called "WONDERBOOM". That's it. Audio Quality: This is where things gets impressive. For such a small speaker, the sound that comes out of it is unexpected. Vocals can be a little "boomy" though bass is extremely booming and vibrant. Cranking this thing up to full volume while using outdoors filled my backyard with audio that would make the neighbors mad. I could comfortably listen to music outside with the volume at a 50% level. Indoors was even better. This speaker has a 360 degree speaker array so placing it in the center of a room will bounce sound off of all 4 walls. This little speaker sounds as if you have a multi speaker setup. It easily can hide on a shelf or table making it completely invisible to guests at a party, though the music flowing is impossible to hide. Charging: This is where things could have been better. The speaker comes packaged with a USB cable for charging, but no wall charger. This requires a computer or other USB charging device to power this back up after it is depleted. It would have been nice to have a USB wall outlet charger to make things easier. Battery Life: Once fully charged, this things lasts a while. This get about 13 hours of battery life before needing another charge. Plenty for a full 2 works days or entire day at the beach listening. Other Features: This speaker is water proof, so using it by the pool is an option. This thing even floats if it calls into the water, however, do not keep it in the water for long periods of time. It's waterproof rating is 30 minutes fully submerged. There is also the ability to pause tracks by pressing on the top button of the speaker eliminating the need to pickup your phone. Overall this is a great speaker, especially for the outdoors. This makes an excellent companion for the upcoming summer months!
