Really like this mop. My only drawback is on the mapping, I have a little wood piece to blend my hardwood to the the kitchen floor, and it will not go into the living room over this little rise, and I have a few of these between all the rooms, so I am unable to get her to mop a certain room unless I take her to it. But as far as the mopping, I am very satisfied with that. Just don't expect that it will travel from room to room if you have any kind of divider. It surprised me because I have the Roomba vacuum and it goes between the rooms effortlessly.

So I bought this with the vacuum and got a bundle price which was nice. The vacuum is amazing. I think it’s so good it makes this mop look bad. The first time I ran it the floors were in need of a good mopping. It tried its best and did a good job but I think it was just too dirty to make it exceptional. So I waited a little while then did a mopping myself. Since then I have used this to maintain the clean. It does a wonderful job. It can tackle some pretty stuck on stuff but it does have its limits. So I’d say I mop once month then run this once or twice a week.

I was excited to see in the manual that I can use Bona hardwood cleaners, the only products my floor refinisher recommends, in this mop. I might get a second tank for swapping in when I want to do other floors. Super quiet, low profile, and gets into a lot of tight spaces. Love the washable pads so I'm not making more trash.

    Poor Mapping and Undocking

The concept behind this robot is very cool, but - no matter how hard I try - it just doesn't work for us. The first few trips out it attempted to map the rooms, but the results were some sprawling mess that repeats some areas by attaching the copy to another area. It would be nice if the Braava could use the map generated by the Roomba. After a few mapping runs, we tried to get it to mop the floors, but it couldn't undock itself. We've cleaned the base and wheels, but it just spins its wheels until it gives up. So now it just sits under the bookcase looking like it has potential.

My first Roomba vacuum (10 years ago) was so cool...for about 2 weeks. Then I spent more time getting it unstuck than I did vacuuming myself. So, I ditched it. Recently, I gave the Braavajet a try. Same issue. After about 2-4 weeks, the device seems to invent new ways to get stuck. Even establishing no clean zones does not work because it will get stuck, kind of go in circles and basically mangle its own map. I cannot figure out where it is based on its own map. My guess is, you won't find anyone using a Braavajet or Roomba for more than a few months. Even after all this time, their products are not as advertised.

I will start by saying that I don't know why people rate it bad. If we understand that this is a small robot, we shouldn't be so harsh on it. Ok, it might miss a few spots. It's not a person. its a small machine. But why don't we look at the overall result? A very clean apartment! Remove the obstacles and let it do it's magic! You will have a very clean house! I am using it on an apartment, so flat surfaces with hardfloor wood. Awesome, clean, spotless floors every time! Contrary to the roomba vacuum, which can sort of jump on slightly uneven surfaces (i.e. the surface between the bathroom tiles and the hardwood), this cannot do it. It cannot do it for a reason: It can only mop, if it's very low, touching the floor, pressing on the cleaning pad. That means it won't be able to overcome even the slightest surface. If you are ok with it, it is amazing! If I had a house with carpets, uneven surfaces, stairs etc... I think it wouldn't work. But for a flat apartment its amazing! the house smells divine and the floors are super clean. Also, it is SUPER QUIET! I also have the new Roomba S9+ which is powerful but VERY LOUD and this Bravaa is so quite I can easily sleep next to it. Sometimes I try to hear if it still works in the other room! very pleasant in the sound. Overall : amazing to me. Well done Roomba, I love you Brava M6!!

I got this for my husband who is the designated mop person on the house :) he had everything he wanted and I thought I would surprise him with this helper. At first he was upset :) for getting a moppet for Xmas. After he turned it on he was in love. It’s mesmerizing to watch for some reason. It’s not noisy at all and it’s efficient and precise. We have two pets and our house stays clean 24/7

I don't know why I waited so long to buy this. Product works great for my application. Makes my life so much easier and keeps our place so much cleaner. My only complaint is that it doesn't traverse higher door ways well. But, that's not really a problem. I simply place the unit in the room I want it to clean and hit the clean button. Hope they can get that fixed though in future units. I would definately buy this and futrure products again.

Hate mopping so love the "robot". But, took so many mapping runs and like everyone else, still sprays & cleans in mapping mode when it's not supposed to. At $7.99 for 7 pads PLUS cleaning solution (which is impossible to find in stock), mapping cost me! Took a while for the light bulb to go on, but use the dry mop pad during mapping so you don't have to swap out soaked wet pads. Large kitchen mapped pretty well, but when mapping new rooms, would never finished learning. Made completely wrong map in areas with obstacles - like around toilets and had to delete and start over many times. Finally selected customize map from one of the runs to get out of learning mode and be able to use mop. Skips areas when spraying and banged against & went in circles many times trying to maneuver around toilet. I believe this has a camera, so not sure why it cannot figure out how to back out of a U-shape area when it cannot fully turn around. Overall, it's good if you use it regularly for basic, maintenance cleaning, but will not lift up dried or sticky stains like splashed sauces or soda. Wish it had more pressure from pad to floor to get a better clean.

Recommend for flat hardwood floors only. Very smart mapping to avoid carpets and rugs. No scrubbing. If you have ceramic floors with slight cracks between tiles, I believe the braava might not do much in those cracks. (But I have not tried that). All this robot does is slide a flat pad (wet or dry) over the surface. No scrubbing at all. Know what you are getting. I am happy with this mop, BUT my expectations were realistic. The braava jet will go a little beyond the powerful sweep of the roomba (depends on your model), and trap the remainig smal particles of dust and hair with its wet pad. When used in combination with a sweep before mopping, hardwood floor looks great afterwards. IF you use the iRobot cleaning solution, the area will also smell very nice and fresh. I havent tried other brands of cleaning solution as mine came with a lot of fluid. Other Pros: works well with google assistant and iRobot vacumm to coordinate sweeping and mopping. iRobot products are very smart, will map your home well, and at least in the one-storey multi-room apartment with mixed hardwood and carpet where I use the mop, I have had zero issues. Cleaning Spills I have not used the dry pads to clean spills, but my guess is they would do a good job absorbing. I keep the braava equipped with a wet pad, not a dry pad (thyere different). So it seems a hassle to me to walk to the braava jet, swap pads, put it down, and go to the app to select a zone to clean and send the robot. Probably takes 3x time than just grabbing a paper towel and doing it yourself.

We are impressed with the Braava. It is much quieter than a robot vacuum. Once she mapped our floor, I created keep out zones. Now we don't even have to close bedroom doors where there is carpet. I like that you can create clean zones (like the cooking area of the kitchen) and have her mop that small space whenever there is a need. We were initially concerned about her spraying baseboards or adjacent carpet. But having seen her work, that concern is gone. She only sprays after navigating a short space ahead. So the sprayed area is always checked before being sprayed. The cleaning solution cost can add up but there are concentrates available to save money. If you like tech and don't like manually mopping your floors, get a Braava m6!

So far everything is going well with this endeavor. From the time I initially considered getting one of these, and eventually purchasing the iRobot - Braava Jet m6 at BestBuy, things have gone smoothly. Although this happened during the Covid-19 pandemic, BestBuy did not miss a beat. They delivered. This device was at my front door in 2 days. I wasn’t sure how it will end up, i.e., performing its task of mopping, so I carefully took notes during unpacking - just in case I have to return it. I wasted no time putting it to work. After connecting it to my WiFi, loading the cleaning fluid in the reservoir, attaching a pad, I let it start. Oh boy, I had fun watching it navigate its way cleaning to the corners of my kitchen, dining room and back hallway. Just when I thought it would miss a spot, it goes back and covers it. It took this thing over one hour to complete a rather large area. It went back to its dock and then signaled that its rank was empty. It shows the area it covered at the end of each task! Since I got it, it has completed mopping the same area 3 times and it developed a map which I can subdivide into sections. I can now schedule cleaning these individual sections on separate days. My wife and I decided that it is a keeper.

I’ve had a Roomba ( and different brands prior to that) for half a decade and have been searching for something to match it for mooping. When I originally searched years ago they just weren’t effective enough to consider. The original had a small range or could cover at random and you had to remove the battery and charge it after use. Fast forward and I finally one I love . It uses bona solution (which is what I used already) , it has a mop and sweep feature (it knows which mode automatically when you connect the pads) and has super smart navigation. Found it on sale for 300 (normally 450) and I wasn’t let down. It took about four hours the first time I mapped it all out . It returns to the charger automatically and then goes back and finishes what it started so battery is irrelevant. It mapped the entire place and it suggested names for the rooms ( living room, kitchen etc.), you can then create keep out zones ( yay no more extras accessories to block it from no go zones). You can even go as far as name sections (in front of the coffee table for example) . You can even use Siri or Alexa to tell it where to go. It learns every time it goes out and can approximate the time it will take for the task. Navigation is great and it won’t stop until it finishes the area, even if it has to go back and recharge. You can see a map of where it covered once it’s done. The mopping itself was far more impressive than Imagined. The mop pad has some sort of Brussels that help remove dryer up stains. I would say it covered 95 percent of the floors so little for you to retouch. I would highly recommend this to anyone that has more hard floors than carpet. If you have just your kitchen and bathroom , skip it. It’s been a huge time saver and I have very little carpet.

This device really cleans well. To get the most out of it, I did the following: 1) used the rainbow “clean floor” solution. Hands down the best out there 2) buy washable cleaning pads 3) ran lots of training runs The floors are always kept clean. I coupled it with the i7 roomba and its equivalent to my rainbow with a whole lot less work.
