Customers are pleased with the Pet Plus Cordless Stick Vacuum's long battery life, cordless convenience, lightweight design, and powerful suction. They appreciate the self-cleaning brushroll and its effectiveness in picking up pet hair. Some customers find the vacuum to be a bit pricey and would prefer a wall mount for storage. Additionally, a few users have mentioned that the vacuum can be quite loud during operation.

I have 2 dogs and tile floors so vacuuming every other day is a must. This vacuum makes it so much easier and convenient, I used to drag around a canister vacuum with a hose and cord, but not any more! It does what they say it does.
Some friends of mine that also have dogs ended up purchasing one of these for themselves after seeing mine.

Great lightweight cordless vacuum! While the battery doesn’t last long, it’s gives me enough time and power to clean my small place. After I’m done I just remove the head and leave it charging until I use it the next day. According to the manual it automatically stops charging when the battery is full so I don’t have to worry about it.
I have two cats at home and it works great to pull out the hair from my short carpet

I looked online at tons of cordless stick vacuums. This vacuum came 2nd in place after the newest Dyson vacuum in many test. It was less than half the price and almost as good as the Dyson Vacuum. So I ordered it. It has not disappointed yet. It’s picked up so much dust, cat hair and dirt that I didn’t even know was there. The lightweight and ease of no cord? Sold. My old vacuum? It’s on its way to the dump.

We have been using the vacuum for awhile now. No complaints. Charge last for about 45 min. on the turbo boost mode. With 4 cats in the house, i use it every day. Its amazing how much hair and dirt it picks up. I still use the full size shark once a week. But the vacuum broom is so much easier due to being cordless and lightweight. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed being freed from my cord. Shark, as usual, has delivered a quality product with the flexibility that the cordless system gives it. It can go anywhere, transforms as you need it, and doesn't weigh as much as the corded siblings. It has been a wonder for vacuuming out cars, under tables, and the stairs. Vacuuming has now become even more fun.

I bought this specific vacuum to pick up dog hair. I researched at length to find a reliable, light and easily maneuverable vacuum. Shark vacuums are very good and this one meets and exceeds all my expectations. Fully charged I can vacuum 5 bare floor rooms on low mode and finish cleaning my large area rug on high mode. For me, the price is worth it!!

Honestly, for $300 I thought this vacuum would be a little more powerful. It's convenient to be cordless and easy for a small apartment, but if you have a big house I would get a larger, more powerful vacuum.

Works well especially cleaning 2 flights of stairs that previously was a pain in the butt with a traditional corded vacuum.
A premium cord type vacuum might slightly out perform it but it's a LOT more convenient with the Shark.
Would buy again.

THE GOOD
-Nice suction
-Good for carpet and hard floors
-Better than average battery life
-Power-head doesn't get tangled in long hair, as advertised
-Power-head has forward-facing lights
-Adjustable cleaning speeds
-Shortens up nicely for stairs
THE BAD
-A bit pricey
-Suction and cleaning at power-head edges is weak
-Power-head over 2.5" tall, may not fit under the bottom lip of your cabinets
-Still battery-powered, still only gets 35 - 40min
-No included wall mount to store the unit
-No included bag or storage option for attachments
-No basic T-head attachment
THE DETAILS
Let's start with the obvious: unless your daily/weekly cleaning regimen is VERY light, this newest Shark Rocket won't replace your regular corded upright or canister vac. You simply can't pack that much capacity into a battery without it becoming too bulky and heavy to carry it around. But as a companion vac, one that's quicker and easier to pull out for quick cleanups and minor cleaning, the Rocket does nicely. This version has a brushless power-head that's supposed to prevent pet hair, string and other things from wrapping around and tangling the head. It performs as advertised. The unit also has adjustable settings for the power-head rotational speed: one fast for beating and cleaning carpet, one slower for hard flooring where a faster brush speed is unnecessary and would scatter the dirt more than clean it. It's a nice touch to save battery. The main grip also has a trigger for "Turbo" mode, which speeds up the vacuum motor itself for extra suction.
Overall cleaning performance is adequate. It didn't wow me with suction, but I wasn't disappointed either. The power-head cleans both carpet and hard flooring well. Considering I've seen a lot of competing models designed primarily for hardwood, this is a nice change. The power-head could do with better cleaning at its edge, but its not a deal breaker.
For attachments, you get the aforementioned power-head, a long-nosed cranny wand, and a bristled short T-head( the bristle collar can be removed to reveal a shorter brush underneath, much like a clothing lint brush ). The power-head has three LEDs on the front and is about 10" wide, though the actual beater bar is only 8.5". It would be nice if it was a little wider. It's also over 2.5" tall, which is too thick to fit under the lip of my kitchen cabinets ( YMMV of course ). But it can mount directly to the main canister, which shortens nicely for stairs ( or even for smaller children if they want to help clean ). Sadly there's no basic T-head for general cleaning. It also doesn't come with any type of wall mount or storage for the vacuum or attachments.
Overall, it's a nice enough battery vac. The 40-minute advertised runtime ( which it gets ) is better than a lot of competing units. Just be aware it only gets that 40 minutes when used on low without the power-head. With the power-head, runtime goes down to 15 - 25 minutes, depending on whether you're using it in carpet or hardwood mode. The dual cleaning ( carpet and hard flooring ) is a big plus, but the lack of attachments, attachment storage, and wall mount hardware is not something I would expect at the $300 range.

We have had this for a couple of months now and have been completely satisfied. it is light weight and maneuverable and has good suction power. We use it primarily on hardwood floors and it leaves them nice and clean. By swapping accessories you can get into small spaces, use it for the car or any other vacuuming need.

So far so good. The only thing that bothers me is not having a wall mount, but it doesn't take a lot of space so it can put it in a closet. There are 3 people in my household with long hair and since I bought it I haven't had to remove hair from the rollers. Which is nice for a change.

This vacuum works very well and gets the job done. Depending on the area I’m using this vacuum, the one thing I’ve noticed is time. The time to use this vacuum can be great for small areas and quick spot jobs. For larger areas it can time consuming. In my opinion, I wish the main base was wider for larger areas or some that can be adjusted for larger areas. The battery life is pretty good. I’ve had the vacuum for about a month and haven’t done any maintenance. The maintenance instructions is what concerned me but seem fairly easy the do.

We have a corded shark stick petvac now and it's great, we've been happy with it for 4 years now. We decided to try a cordless version now that we need a second vac and since we've had a great experience with previous vacs we picked this one. It works really well, we're very happy with the performance but it is really noisy due to the new design for hair prevention. We have no plans to return it, but if anyone needs to consider noise then you may want to look at the corded version instead.

It tries but doesn't measure up to Dyson 10 Animal

We tried this vacuum instead of spending nearly twice as much for a Dyson V10 Animal stick vacuum. However, we ended up returning this and getting the Dyson instead, and we are much happier with it. You get what you pay for. A comparison:
Shark Cordless Pet Plus: Decent enough suction for floor vacuuming, but the hand held did not operate well enough to get all the pet fur off of sofas and upholstered surfaces. We did like that the Shark had a light to illuminate the floor when vacuuming (the Dyson does not). The Shark's alleged 45 minutes of run time was more like 30 minutes after using the "boost" suction feature, which you practically MUST use with this vacuum to collect everything. The run time was never enough to vacuum the entire house thoroughly (and our house is under 1,800 sq ft). Only has 2 additional attachments (crevice tool and brush)
Dyson V10 Animal: Suction power is phenomenally better on both floor and upholstered surfaces. It's no comparison, and well worth it, even though the Dyson does not have a floor light. The battery life is a "true" 60 minutes, even with a few "boosts" to the power here and there. Comes with 4 attachments - including an indispensable motorized brush for handheld vacuuming that works SO well on upholstery and sofas.

Excellent cordless vacuum! Was skeptical at first but it picks up dirt and dog hair very easily on our hardwood floors. Would have given 5 stars but the battery does not last as advertised. Lucky for us we are able to finish right before battery dies out but it’s ridiculously expensive to buy another battery and I blame Shark for not making them economically accessible.

This item functions like a full-sized vacuum unlike the Dyson handheld it replaced. I love that the roller self cleans and the charge is far more than adequate. It is very easy to empty and the accessories are easily attached and quite useful.

Lightweight. Great for managing dog hair on a tile floor. Decent battery run time. Easy to clean. It would not and is not designed to take the place of an electric sweeper for a lot of carpeting.
