Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the long battery life, Bluetooth connectivity, and abundance of programmable buttons on the G604 mouse. Many appreciate its comfortable design and the smooth, precise scrolling offered by the unique scroll wheel. However, some find the mouse too heavy or large, and others have reported issues with the software or occasional double-clicking. The price point is generally considered favorable.

I'm not much of a PC gamer, but I do love extra features and buttons... and the sale price for this was too good to pass up. There was a little bit of a learning curve for this mouse because there is a ton of customization available and I wasn't sure what all the buttons were for. The mouse works right out of the box once you add batteries and plug in the USB receiver, but there's an Windows program to download if you want to take full advantage of everything. One of the coolest features I have to mention is that there's a button that will allow you to switch between your computer and another device with bluetooth. I wish I had bought more than one.

I love how versatile the mouse it for general productivity despite it being marketed as a gaming mouse. With 8 customizable buttons i find i'm using it for video editing and certain tasks i do often like; split and delete, play forward and backwards, undo and redo are mapped to separate buttons. The logitech program is very easy to use as well to customize with custom macros for functions that do not have a built in feature. Each application can have its own custom mouse configuration and it auto switches when the program is open. Only con i can think of is rather heavy but not unwieldy and the scroll feel is not smooth enough though you can switch to smooth scroll with a push of a switch.

I bought this when it was on sale for $44 dollars and for that value, it's absolutely worth every penny. At its normal $100 price tag, however, it is hard to justify over its predecessor the G602 which I purchased for about $27 years ago. The mouse fits comfortably in my hands as they are on the smaller side. The infinity scroll wheel is a nice novelty but I haven't found a use for it but some people may like the smoother action. I haven't had any issues with the connection dropping. The number of programmable buttons is perfect for me and while the GHub software has its odd quirks, it is entirely usable and makes programming the buttons mostly painless. Overall a great mouse for gaming and general use.

For the price, this is simply the best mouse I've ever owned. I love the customization that's possible with the G Hub software and the fact that this can switch between Lightspeed and Bluetooth with a button press is simply perfect for my setup. Unfortunately, Logitech has discontinued this mouse for some unknown reason. It must have been too good of a value for consumers.

It has been 2 weeks since I bought this, and I love everything about it so far. Just to put things in perspective, the last mouse I was using was Logitech's MX Master 2S, and while I did like it, there was still some things I wished it did differently. For instance: 1. I wished the scroll wheel didn't have these rubber grips. Sure, it gives you a better grip on the wheel, but it's also a magnet for dust and bacteria. Not only that, after just 2 years of usage, the rubber grips have started to show signs of wear and tear. 2. It uses a non-removable rechargeable battery. This is somewhat of a nit-pick, but batteries of any type don't last forever. So, to make it non-removable just sucks in my opinion. 3. It's rechargeable, but only through a micro usb port. I'm pretty sure usb-c cables existed when the MX Master 2S was released, so for them to release a 100-dollar mouse with outdated usb tech is just annoying. 4. They used cheap abs plastic as far as I can tell. I consider myself to be a somewhat clean person, but the plastic on it got shiny in like a year or so. Thankfully, the G604 appears to fix all of these issues. The scroll wheel is just one metal piece with little grooves for better grip. It uses a removable AA battery design, which is great because you can now use your own rechargeable batteries. As for the quality of the plastics used, all I can say is that my brother has used one for 2 years and it has barely any signs of shining. Lastly, I really like the 6 side buttons and how you can pretty much customize them to do whatever you want with them.

    Double Clicking Issue

I truly love this mouse. It has tons of extras, a nice weight and feels great in my hand. Unfortunately, I will be returning it and getting a different brand. This is my second Logitech mouse to have a double-clicking issue. -You click once, but it registers as a double-click. I use multiple Logitech accessories for my PC, but apparently have bad luck with mice. I purchased it on sale, so I can't be too upset. As with most electronics, it's always a good idea to purchase the extended warranty! Hopefully the issue is fixed in future iterations.

Upgraded to this mouse from the g502 and haven't looked back. Was unsure that I would like a wireless mouse and was worried about constantly having to charge it. I've been using this mouse constantly for six weeks so far and the battery indicator is still full in GHUB. The extra buttons this mouse affords over the 502 are priceless to my playstyle and the scroll wheel feels much studier and more dependable than the one on the 502 while maintaining the same design and technology. Can't recommend this mouse enough.

It’s a very erganomic mouse with lots of funtionality, I like the feel of the mouse and how it fits well into my hands. It also has quite a bit of buttuns that are useful for hotkeys for games, and the buttons feel well made, and I realy like how the mousewheel has a button to free roll for to move in clicks. The only downside i can see for some people is it might be on the heavier side for some, but if feels fine for me. Personally I wouldn’t pay full price for it, but it’s a great mouse if you find it on a sale like I did.

Great mouse, upgraded from the G602 and have been using one for 6 months (I just bought a second one as it was on sale). Way better better life than the G602, having bluetooth is great on the go, and the buttons are always great. My main complaint is with the software - although it has been improving, G Hub often stops working and is not too intuitive. My main recommendation is to set up the mouse as you like, and then keep G Hub closed normally.

This mouse was advertised as a gaming mouse, and for some people, all the extra buttons may be annoying. I personally do not game, but I am what you may call a “power user”. I’m someone that uses a lot of keyboard shortcuts, and I also like to tinker with some of my tech to make it work well for me. First I’ll start with what I dislike: I was excited anout the bluetooth capability of this mouse without using the dongle, but upon testing, I have realized the jutter and lag makes it unuable. That being said, this mouse has virtually no latency when paired with the USB dongle included in the box! So even though I have two computers I want to use this with, I unplug the dongle to switch computers every time. Now for the fun stuff: my keyboard was a satechi brand, and works great with my mac, but often takes quite a while to power on. So when turning on my computer, I often have to wait like ten seconds before I can type in my password to log on. This mouse entirely solves that. I changed my computer password to a series of numbers, and set those numbers on the six side buttons, with one of those buttons being the enter key, and now I can log in by hitting the sequence on my mouse buttons before my keyboard even wakes up. I also set the scroll wheel to pull up the multitasking menu when I click it in, making perfect use of a button I generally would not use on the mouse! The function toggle is also fantastic, as I have it set to allow me to go back on web pages (a feature I use quite often on my macbook, but was unable to do on my desktop oreviously). All in all, its a great mouse and I would definitely recommend, especially at the sixty-five percent off I got it for!

I get 5 months out of the alkaline battery for 40-hours/week use. Quality function, comfortable. My only gripe is I can't use the gaming software the older mice use. I had to use the G-hub software. Had I known this, I would have purchased differently so I could run the same software and use my different mice. So good mouse, just more difficult if you want to run older logitech mice on the same computer.

This is a great mouse for both productivity and games like MMO's that are useful to have extra mouse buttons. I own a few different mice, but this is my go to daily driver because I love the customizable 6 buttons on the side, as well as the fact that it is wireless and I never have to worry about wires being in the way. The battery life is also great and lasts a long time before it need changed, but it does require a AA battery and is not rechargeable.

Great mouse very light and ergonomic to your hand. Very comfortable for prolong use. Love the wireless capability and the ability to add weights to the mouse. The mouse comes with additional weights that make it better to handle. Overall too many features for me to use but very pleased with all the features I use it for

I love this mouse and I don't think you will get another comparable mouse when this is on deal. Perfect weight for office work and very comfortable. However, I don't think this will be great for fps games but is good for games where you don't have to move around too fast. I liked the bundled software too - nice to be able to map keys. Heck, I might even get a second one since it is again on sale.

Got this for $35, but normally sold for around $65-$75. I like it because it uses a AA battery, instead of a built in rechargeable battery. Since rechargeable batteries have a limited lifespan (like any rechargeable battery), I prefer having the ability to change out batteries. Plus, the mouse works great. Just as good as any gaming mouse out there.

I picked this up on sale for $35, I might’ve paid a little more for at that price it’s unbeatable. The Bluetooth is fast and responsive, which is very helpful as the modern laptops they do not have a standard USB port for the dongle, but it’s nice that you have both options. The ability to scroll with or without clicks is a very nice feature.
