My old keyboard had those big, membrane keys. They were terrible to type on. This one is responds well to very light touches so if your a soft typer like me you won't get tired after a long typing session. I stand at around 40 wpm on this keyboard. The Bluetooth dongle to my computer worked perfectly out of the gate. Set up was nonexistent. Just plug and go. There's no caps lock, which is quite possibly its best feature lol. And the windows/whatever key is moved into the caps lock's place so you can still do windows key + shift + S for a screen grab. The on/off switches is not on the back. Its on the side so you don't have to flip the keyboard to turn it on/off. Its so tiny and so thin. It takes up no room. yet it still retains the home/end keys and a full numpad. Bless. Three minor flaws: 1) There's no usb plug on the keyboard so I have to use two usb spots on my laptop (keyboard and mouse). I think I could use the pairing feature but its fairly common for a keyboard to have a spare usb port so i thought i'd mention it. 2) There's a keyboard lock key right next to the backspace and delete keys. I accidentally hit it and it turned my monitor off. Useful for some but its placement should be in a less high traffic area. 3) No auto sleep feature. Responds immediately even after not touching it for a while. Working at home has me up and down a lot so it'd be nice to save some battery. All told, I'd 100% buy it again. I better not have to for at least 3 years. But presuming it lasts that long I'd buy it again.

Love this keyboard!!! It is the exact Chromebook keyboard layout. The battery lasts FOREVER too!!!

It's sleek, easy to type and can't be on multiple devices. I have the chrome book and bluetooth to my tablet and switch between the two with a push of a button. Very easy to pair as well. I will use it on my tv when I need a keyboard. A great buy!!

This is a nice keyboard, and as far as I can tell it is working with other devices besides Chrome when I connect through Bluetooth. There are a couple buttons on the keyboard that only operate when using a Chrome device, meaning they are pointless and a waste of space on the keyboard if you are not using Chrome. One such key takes away the caps lock function, which I have found annoying. Also, the space for the phone or tablet only really works for a phone. I have to put my tablet in vertically, but when I do so it tips the keyboard over. I will be returning, unfortunately.

Works great out of the box. Easy to set up! The keys feel great typing on them. Being able to connect to to 2 different devices is great.

This bluetooth enabled keyboard is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Smooth, smart with a nice array of features. It connects pretty easily right out of the box. The keys have a light but certain touch to them. I am using this to synch to my Lenovo Yoga Chromebook. I have not yet synced it to my android phone

I bought this keyboard at the same time that I upgraded my work setup from just a laptop, to a laptop with a docking station, two additional monitors, and an external keyboard. I love how the Logitech K580 keyboard has a slim design that more closely resembles a laptop keyboard than most other keyboards. The size of the keys are also very similar to those of a laptop, rather than other keyboards that have bigger/bulkier keys. It takes up just enough space on my desk without being excessively space consuming. My only complaints are: 1. There is no num lock key so when my number pad was stuck on num lock I had to email Logitech support to figure out how to fix it. Turns out FN+delete does the trick. 2. Sometimes the keyboard disconnects from my computer and I cannot get it to reconnect, and I end up giving up and just using my laptop keyboard. This has happened both when using bluetooth connection and usb connection. I have not been able to determine the cause or the exact fix. Sometimes when I try for long enough to disconnect and/or turn off everything I can eventually get it to come back on, other times I just give up because it's wasting too much time and it's simpler to just grab the laptop and type. Often the problem just fixes itself randomly and isn't an issue the next time I come back to use the computer, but it definitely makes me question how reliable it is. Overall, I would recommend this keyboard, assuming that this connection problem isn't a bigger issue.

Havent had a single issue with this keyboard. It always links up to my laptop really quickly and so far the batteries are lasting a long time. Only teeny tiny thing is because of the keyboard being designed for chrome os, the caps lock button doesn't work like normal. But it's a small issue and I think I saw somewhere it could be changed I just haven't bothered with it.

Great keyboard that is easy to use. I like the feel of the keys and the fact that they're relatively quiet. I also like the extra number pad, which I use a lot as a professor, and the fact that we can use the keyboard with 2 different computers. It syncs well to my laptop for use with my external monitor. Occasionally, though, I do have to reconnect the bluetooth, but it is rare and easy to do quickly, so it doesn't bother me much.

It performs great and a great value. It is nice and compact and easy to use.

The keyboard to buy if you are using a Chromebox, using your Chromebook in clamshell mode connected to an external monitor or if you own a Samsung device, use Dex. The keyboard is rechargeable, has excellent battery life, a great keyboard feel, and is a quality product. Only wish is that it has backlighting. Highly recommend this keyboard.

I love this keyboard. It’s compact, quiet, and I can put my phone or tablet on the slot it has while typing away on it! Batteries last a long time so I don’t worry about charging it every day or week. Very sturdy and feels solid

I bought this for my computer not realizing it's more for like a tablet. It doesn't even have a caps lock button. I guess it does the overall job of typing.

Love the slim design however there is no cap or num lock button. Found the num lock alternative but not the cap lock. Very quiet and I can also use it with my iPad which is a bonus.

I am always impressed by Logitech products and this is no exception. It’s well made, and is similar to the chrome book keyboard, and is comfortable to use. It doesn’t lose signal and the batteries last forever.

I wanted a wireless keyboard that would not take up space in my backpack but would also have the functionality of a standard keyboard. The K580 fit both of those needs and also comes with a slot/stand that fit BOTH my iPhone and Android devices simultaneously. There are two BT connections available as well as a USB option so essentially you could have it connected to three devices. The only downside is that it's not a standard Windows/PC keyboard so if you're using it for that be aware you don't have a Caps Lock or Windows Start Menu key.

Light weight, easy to setup and has an off / on switch for power savers. Has an option to be used across to platforms and maybe connected by either Bluetooth or USB.

Great keyboard. Good action, the phone bay is very convenient. Works as expected. There is no caps lock button to whom that may concern.
