Surprisingly good - backlight missing

This keyboard turned out to be surprisingly good.
As many others, bought it due to issues with my wrists.
Contrary to my initial beliefs, I make less typing errors with the ergonomic keyboard than with the regular keyboard.
Key travel and overall feel is very good.
Takes a little of adjustment to get used to the placement of function keys and I had to change the way I made some key combinations, but the hassle is minimum.
Only thing that I miss is the backlight. Other than that, despite the high price, very happy with it.
Highly recommended. Would buy again.

Comfort & Convenient

At work I spend a lot of time working at a computer and my hands get stiff / numb occasionally. After I switched to this keyboard, I noticed right away that my wrist were straighter and the built-in rest is really comfortable. I guess I really took for granted something I use everyday.
Pros
- Includes a wireless USB receiver and Bluetooth that can be paired to multiple computers. There are buttons on the keyboard that allow you to swap between paired devices.
- Wrist rest and angle adjustment really reduce the pressure / bending you feel.
- Useful short cut keys for launching apps and commands.
- Keys have labels for Mac and PC.
- Very quiet.
Things To Consider
- The split key layout takes some getting used to. I have an old injury that limits the use of my pinkie finger on my right hand and so I was used to typing a little offset to compensate. The first day was hard, but I have gotten faster over the past week and the double space bar really works.
- Key travel is shallow and the weight is on the lighter side. Not a big issue for me and this does make it very quiet.
This is a quality keyboard that adds comfort and convenience. The split keys do have a learning curve, but I wouldn’t go back to a regular keyboard.

The Need: Bought an Apple Vision Pro and wanted a different keyboard. Had a portable BT keyboard, but wanted an ergonomic one. My work, wired, ergonomic keyboard was wearing out. Letters wore off. Though I can type without looking, there are times when it's helpful. Lastly - I have a 2017 MacBook Pro with the butterfly keyboard. I've found some letters repeat and have other issues with it. Considered replacing the laptop for this reason, though it still works great.
The decision: Always liked Logitech products. They have a tendency to be built well and last. Looked up wireless BT keyboards and found the Ergo K860. It does both Windows and Apple devices, having they keys labeled. It ALSO has three simple buttons to select the device you want to use with it.
Setup was extremely easy. All three of my devices were set up within minutes. Typing is great! I like clicky keyboards, but not at the expense of those around me. This one is fairly quiet. Buttons feel good.
Wasn't sure about the pad at the edge of the keyboard. Other's I've had in the past could be removed. This one can't. Which for me, is fine. It helps and is comfortable to use.
Been using this keyboard for over a month now for work and personal use. Batteries still report 100%. Looks like this one is a keeper!

Overall Very Good Ergonomic Keyboard

Very solid keyboard. The raised center and curve of the keys help reposition my arms when typing so that my elbows point further out - a much more comfortable position than typing on a straight keyboard in my opinion.
Meanwhile the built in palm rest helps with straightening my wrists and has helped a lot with my carpal tunnel since I type for essentially 8 hours straight.
Lastly the number key is a must for me since I work in a accounting and really sealed my rating.
I will say that it does take a little bit of time to adjust to the new positions/distance of the keys, and there are a few items in the keyboard that are slightly different than most keyboards I've used such as the alt keys having various new options, but that is in no way a bad thing.

Thanks for the detailed review of the ERGO K860! We truly appreciate you sharing your experience, especially how the split design and palm rest helped improve your typing posture and comfort. That's exactly what we designed it for! We're glad it's been a great solution, especially for long typing sessions, and the number pad is a bonus for your accounting work. And while there might be a slight adjustment period to the key layout, it sounds like you've mastered the new positions!

Keyboard is responsive. Now that I'm over the learning curve of typing on a keyboard where the keys aren't much raised, I think my typing is getting quicker. Every now and then I have to remove the battery to reset. Love multiple choices for blue tooth connections. (3 of them) I go back and forth between computer and my phone. Great for texting, using the keyboard.

The Logitech ERGO K860 is a game-changer for typing comfort and efficiency. Its ergonomic design and split layout reduce strain on your wrists and hands, while the smooth keystrokes and responsive typing experience boost productivity. The multiple Bluetooth connectivity options offer unparalleled flexibility, making it perfect for seamless switching between devices. Though a minor inconvenience, the occasional battery reset is a small price to pay for such a fantastic keyboard.

Well Made Bluetooth Ergonomic Keyboard

The Logitech k860 is a wireless ergonomic keyboard that, so far in my use of it, dosent disappoint. First of all, you have the option of using it via Bluetooth or USB. The USB is just a small module that is a receiver for your computer. If you use the Bluetooth feature there is no need for the USB receiver. The keyboard allows you to connect it to 3 different computers. Setup over Bluetooth for me was as simple as you can get on my Windows 10 desktop. Simply remove the tab in the battery compartment of the keyboard, go to Bluetooth devices in settings on windows. Turn Bluetooth on and select ERGO K860. A pin will display in Windows. Press the corresponding keys on the keyboard and your done! The keyboard comes with a builtin (non-detachable) palm rest. It's soft and comfortable. It has legs under the palm rest that can be flipped out to change the angle of the keyboard for people who may use it from a standing position. The feel of the keys are good. I'm typing this on the K860 and haven't felt any fatigue as of yet which points out that the curvature of the keyboard is correct. This type of keyboard is a must for those who type for long periods of time as I do on occasion. The K860 also has an on/off switch so I can turn off the keyboard to prevent unnecessary battery drain. It has all of the keys you would expect for a full size keyboard and the shortcut (function) keys are mapped properly in Windows 10. Overall I'm impressed. Well done Logitech!

If you are looking for a great ergonomic keyboard to prevent wrist pain after typing all day, look no further! It will take a day or 2 for you to get used to a split keyboard design if you have never used one before, but I promise you that if you stick with it, you will not want to go back! The wrist rest (while not detachable) is contoured excellently, and you can even tilt the keyboard using the feet that are at the front (meaning the feet are close to you, not on the far edge like normal). This allows your wrists to sort-of hang down, giving you even more pressure relief should you need it. Being able to easily switch between 3 connected devices is also a huge productivity booster, though I do wish the light would stay illuminated so you know which devices you are connected to at all times.

I never thought I would use one of these. Then I had an arm injury. Typing on a regular keyboard was painful. I type a lot. I went to stores and tested a number of ergo keyboards. This one felt best by far. I bought it and have never looked back. Took 30 seconds to set up with my MacBook 12"-based home workstation. Took about a day to get used to it. Still now every time I use it, I am surprised at how substantial the entire unit is. Also, as my world is all things Apple, my expectations are high. This keyboard is near flawless. I say "near" because while it's not enough to lose even part of a star over, I wish the "Print Screen" key (a cool function in an of itself) wasn't so close to the delete key. That aside, the keyboard has been perfect and actually helped me work while I heal.

I really enjoy this keyboard, sensitivity of the keys are great and the pad works great. I only wish is if the keyboard came with the option for a backlit version. It replaced I backlit ergo keyboard I had to order from Germany. It had a minor hiccup with my wireless headphones, but move one USB part to front of my tower, problem solved.

I've been an ergo/split keyboard user for many years. I had the OG white MS ergonomic keyboard until it died. Since I've had many, many models of split keyboards from various brands.
I saw Logitech had a new model coming out and I checked out the specs and early reviews. (See the tl;dr for the story of my recent keyboard woes.) It's got Bluetooth with easy switching for three devices, plus a USB dongle, two height adjustment setting on the flip out legs, and has MacOS support.
It was impossible to view one in person (stupid pandemic!) but I decided to spend the money and try it; my home keyboard/mouse/monitor are now critical for my job. I am completely happy with its key travel, although I thought it was a little soft at first. I was a little worried about the wrist rest "fabric" but it looks better in person and feels nice. It is also easy to clean, but that little ridge between it and the keyboard does collect crumbs and dust. Canned air takes care of it easily enough.
The Logi Options tool for MacOS works like a charm (so much better than the old days when Logitech had only so-so Mac support). Although you have to use a login, it saves my settings between devices!
My only issue with it was hitting the Print Screen button when going for backspace, but I finally got used to that (I almost set that button as another backspace button). I haven't had it long enough to know about battery life, but it has lasted the two months I've had it and still shows full. The USB dongle has a nice storage nook under the battery compartment so i don't worry about losing it.
It is expensive, but my hands and wrists would say it is worth every penny. I am now using this keyboard more than 8 hours a day and love it.
tl;dr Recent history of my ergo keyboard woes:
About a year ago I needed a new keyboard for use at home. I am a Mac user which can bring its own compatibility challenges, especially with one of the major brands that sell ergo keyboards (I won't mention Microsoft's name). I bought their latest fancy Surface version which was bluetooth enabled. It was nice but the bluetooth connection was poor and you could only pair with one device. Also, since there was no MacOS driver or utilities, there was no way to see the battery level or to swap keys around (to better work like a Mac with the command key being closest to the spacebar) so I had to find a third party utility. It was so frustrating, when they released a new, simple corded ergonomic model I picked that up. At least I could swap keys in the regular keyboard settings and not need a third party utility, but again, no drivers and so I had to set it up by hand and the media/functions keys were not configurable. The keys were big and clicky, and although I know some people like that, I am not one of them.
End tl;dr

I really like this ergonomic keyboard. The only complaint is the price. I use it on a Mac and the wrist support is wonderful. I have used a mechanic Mac keyboard and an apple keyboard and this Is my favorite. I use the keyboard about 8 hours a day.
I like the split design and it didn't take too long to get used to it. It is much more comfortable than using the apple magic keyboard. The keys aren't too loud as well. I do recommend this keyboard.

Love the design and how my wrists feel on the keyboard. I find that when switching between Bluetooth devices there is a bigger connection gap than when using the Logitech Craft. Another thing I don’t like is that I’ve noticed how easily dirt and dust accumulates in the gap between the keyboard and the wrist mat. I’ve only used it for about a month and the wrist mat is starting to look faded. Not sure if this is a replaceable piece. Other than that the keyboard is great for ergonomics.

Had to get a new keyboard because my wrist hurts. I used to have argonomic keyboards like this previously, but didn't really help. Wanted to give it a try after some research and found Ergo K860. Bought it vertical mouse along with it and wow... I have to say it's night and day difference. Especially for the people who use the computer all day. I'm a digital artist and using the traditional keyboard and mouse gives wrist problem and these combo helped me to get rid of the pain.

Love this keyboard overall.
Feels light. Keys feel great.
Issue: Same price for so many years. At this point you would think some cost improvements would happen since this is an old model. But nope.
I have had to get a new one previously due to it not working after 2 years. Then I got a new one and a key was broken out of the box. High price, expect high quality. Hit and miss.
Currently have some wear on arm rest on my home keyboard which I do not use often. Only had a year.
But still feel like I recommend this keyboard over other brands who seem to not care about Ergo market.
