Even though I am not a computer savvy individual, I feel like I have found a really good lap top. A few of the features that I like a lot, are the backlit keyboard, the fact that the computer can save my passwords and automatically plug in the password, and it is generally very easy to operate. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Very good laptop but display was underwhelming

I purchased this laptop but ended up returning it for a Yoga C940. This laptop is very good. However, I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 6 for my wife and compared the colors and vibrancy. The Yoga 6 was just so vibrant and had much truer colors. I then knew I would not be overall happy with this laptop due to the display so back it went. The weight of the laptop was an issue as well.
I really liked the speed of this laptop. The display was adequate but nothing to blow my socks off like the Yogas. Screen size was very good. It was heavy though which made it no fun to grab off the shelf or to use in tablet mode. The auto rotation seemed to fail often. I corrected it by going directly to the registry which fixed it but it would fail again later.
Overall a great price for a very fast laptop. Was so close to being what I wanted.

Exactly what I needed for an upgrade. This computer works so fast, light, and easy to take places. I love that it is so lightweight - easy to put in a tote to take on trips.
Everything I need included on this computer and it was easy to get all my info from my old computer transferred over to the new one.

Love this 2 in 1 laptop. Love the speed , the screen quality, and the accessibility of the preloaded functions. In fact we have 4 kids and we bought them all one for school and we all love it ! Sound quality is great on it too. The light up keyboard is a bonus. You will love this product.

I couldnt say anything on this laptop the battery is so good that you can use it for 10 hours straight.
Performance is good one, you can play games here like dota or league.
FOR THE TOUCH SCREEN PART IT ACTS AS A TABLET AND A LAPTOP SO YOU GET 2 IN 1 ON THIS.

This HP laptop PC is great! Before I purchased this HP laptop PC, I bought Dell Laptop PC. Dell Laptop PC had internal microphone issue and did not work with zoom, so I returned it and purchased this HP laptop PC. This meet my expectation in price, performance and reliability.

Fan is loud when it runs. Doesn't run often so not a deal breaker. Got it on sale so still happy with it.
Originally had issues with Mic and audio dropping when using zoom but found out it was conflicting with my virus protection BitDefender. Was able to resolve it through settings.

The color of the case is beautiful. The keyboard lights up real well against the dark coffee brown. Best way I can describe the color even though it says Nightfall Black, the color is more of a dark coffee brown. The font on the keyboards is large and easy on the eyes. The keyboard is pretty quiet. I don't ever hear the fan. The finger pad is a good size and I like the spacing for your wrist to rest on. The fingerprint ID works well and the speakers are awesome. Loud and stereo quality. Recommend speakers on top versus on the bottom. Touchscreen works great with the lightest touch. Yes it leaves print marks if you pause in the same spot for a while. The screen is not glossy so it does not leave a touch mark every time you touch the screen like the tablets. Also, there is not screen glare. The screen is bright. Lid opens effortlessly and the thinness of the Laptop is amazing. Light weight.
The Negatives:
I don't like how the outside of the case shows your fingerprint smudge marks. I'm mostly disgusted and disappointed with the camera/webcam which is the poorest quality I've ever experienced. I absolutely cannot use this laptop to do zoom meetings. If you need the webcam do not purchase this laptop or think Dell's webcam is any better. You will end up purchasing a webcam which I'm looking for one. [Surface Pro7 has a real clear webcam but it is also 13"]
This is MS complaint, not Laptop. I did not appreciate the MS forced account required to setup the laptop. If you do not have a MS account, you are forced to get one to continue setup. Later, MS will pop-up requesting you to complete your registration and purchase the MS Software. Your not required to purchase but it is frustrating to be forced to go through the screens again just to say No, Skip repeatedly.
I chose HP because of the speakers on top and I knew the quality of the speakers would not disappoint and were better than Dell. I also knew the camera on HP/Dell rated the same. I just didn't realize how awfully bad the camera is. Disappointing to do that to consumers at the cost of this Laptop. I also chose HP because I know HP has good Tech Support and I was won over by the HP beauty-LOL.
I gave this 3-stars because of the bad quality camera, makes this an average laptop versus good in my opinion. I do know we won't be zooming forever so hopefully I'll forget how horrible the webcam's quality is. I'm glad I did not spend more money for more memory which I wanted, all because the camera makes this not worth that investment. I wish you could test these features in the store before purchasing. I'm torn on recommending. It's not a bad laptop technically, I just can't recommend because the poor webcam.

It's good for everyday use. Okay for gaming but great for college kids like myself. My only complaint with it is I wish the radeon Graphics in it had more vram for the price of the whole system. But the battery life, keyboard, and the display are pretty solid.

Fast and sleek! It runs Office and Windows like any desktop system I have. The touchscreen was nice and wasn't really flimsy like a lot of the laptops out there today. This runs just as nice as all of my desktop systems I have loaded recently.

This is by far the best laptop for school and work needs. It has the tablet mode, touch screen, the fingerprint recognition making logging in a super breeze. The start and run speeds are incredibly fast as well. No more 5 minute breaks waiting for the computer to turn on.

So far, this model is everything I need it to be. Works for my daily use and the back light on the keyboard is a cool little feature for working in dark areas. Speed and ease of use are both solid.
Overall, this is a solid purchase and well worth the cost...

My 9th grade son vacillated between a Mac and this HP, but prefers Windows. He has not been disappointed by the performance - speed, battery life and display are all too notch. Only slight downside is that it’s a bit heavy if you have to carry it around.

I like this HP-Envy x360 2-in-1 laptop. Due to SSD, it start like a flash and run at high speed. My previous laptop uses mechanic hard drive and sometimes have to wait for 30-60 seconds to open a normal excel file. 512GB for SSD totally worth this price ($720). Big touch screen works perfect for me since I worked with a lot of data with huge amount of rows and columns. This laptop makes my life much easier.

So far as a brand new laptop no issues with speed. Some issue with overheating while on charge - my kid uses zoom for her school and if zoom is on while laptop is on charge the laptop freezes with the speaker stuck in a loud blaring noise. this has happened 3-4 times. so we now try to ensure we charge it before hand as the charge easily lasts a whole school day.
couple of cons:
1. screen brightness is not the greatest. but to be expected in a sub $1k laptop.
2. build quality while fairly decent doesnt quiet give a premium feel when using in 2in1 mode. i.e. when screen is folded over and u try to pick up the laptop from one end the keyboard and screen feel like they are getting depressed quiet a bit. so far no issues and i dont think its about to break. it just doesnt feel as sturdy.

nice big screen - crystal clear picture - i bought a mouse and pad with it because i'm used to that with my desktop, and find it much easier to use than the touch pad - i'm very happy i purchased this product and have no complaints!
