DON'T BE SWAYED BY YOUTUBE! THE REAL WINNER IS...

After doing tons of research on the internet, mainly Youtube, I have finally settled to this. I have gone through every single Logitech webcam that you can name. Despite many videos of popular Youtubers picking at the quality of this webcam, I find that it is actually the best that is out there. There are claims that webcams haven't progressed too much, and this is true. However, there seems to be a lot of bias towards certain off-brands like AverMedia. Don't be fooled by "4k" because that will not guarantee better image quality.
Moreover, I returned the AverMedia PW513 because it was just too off-color no matter how I tried to tune the software's settings. If you're a fan of Samsung smartphones and their camera technology, you won't be bothered. On the flip side, this camera is the BEST in low-light scenarios given you adjust the brightness settings in the software.
The verdict:
Compared to the top Logitech picks such as C920, C922, C930e, C615, 4k Brio, this one trumps over all. It has the most crisp image and color accuracy to real life. Overall, it has amazing clarity even in low-light setting with smooth image quality. This one also has auto-tracking for your face movements if you would like.
The C920 is the best in its price bracket. This is the best in upper price bracket. After deeply comparing all webcams that are regarded as the best, the StreamCam Plus is the bread and butter winner.

Image quality is nice. Solid 1080p cam. Like the ability to mount to tripod as well on top of the monitor. Also like that it uses USB-C. My son needed a cam for remote learning now that schools in the area are all closed down for several weeks. He's also using it in his pursuit of becoming a YouTube star.
What don't I care for? The price. It's pretty expensive for a 1080p cam that doesn't even have the 3D stuff for doing Windows Hello.
Honest opinion? If it's available, spend a few more bucks on the Logitech Brio. It's 4K, and does Windows Hello. The included tripod with the StreamCam Plus is fine, but not what I'd consider "desirable". My son stole one of my little Manfrotto desktop tripods and is happy with the combo.

Was using my canon m50 for streaming on twitch. Quality was amazing, but didn’t want to put west and tear on the camera so I decided to go with this logitech cam. Quality is very great if paired with great lighting. The auto follow feature in the camera is pretty cool. 1080 60fps can’t complain. Also you will have to have a usb-c plug on your PC. If not I suggest buying a adapter to plug it in your standard usb, note that it will be in 1080 30fps unless plug into a usb 3.0. I really can’t complain, besides the price being a little too pricey but that’s about it. Love the camera would recommend over the c920 and this being your starter webcam. =D

Exceptionally clear and good video quality. The 1080p with 60fps is great for quality streaming. Has the ability to be rotated 90 degrees and placed on a tripod that comes with the camera to allow for making videos for sites like Tik Tok. Only issue is that it only comes with a built in USB-C connector and if your PC doesn't have that port buying an adaptor seems to mean ordering from Amazon. Couldn't find an adaptor in town anywhere. Great for laptop use and very easily portable. Also pretty expensive but one of the only webcams right now with the nice software suite and 1080p 60 fps capability.

It's a good quality webcam with a very intuitive software. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Included tripod is a bit lackluster, but I don't have a need for it anyhow.

I bought this webcam for my home office. It is fantastic from an image quality perspective and exactly what I needed. My camera quality on Zoom and Microsoft Teams is better than my peers and allows for online lecturing to be seamless. Using both modes (portrait and landscape) doesn't interface well with the above-mentioned software but using it in landscape mode is most desirable. I do not use the onboard microphone as it was not clearly picking up my voice and had poor sound quality.

Excellent video quality but make sure that you have USB 3.0 or better on your micro USB slot because it will not take full advantage of the 1080p 60fps it will only record at 1080p 30 FPS. Outside of this I have no complaints other than the microphone on it is very loud but I use an external mic anyway. Probably one of the better webcams on the market if you don't want to spring for a DSLR.

Pros:
- fits any monitor as long as the bezel isn't too narrow
- excellent camera quality
- aesthetically pleasing
- long, durable rubber synthetic cord
Cons:
- price (but that's all electronics right now)
- very heavy
- did not plug and play as well as others, took some work with downloading software on MacBook Air.
Overall, a great camera. You get what you pay for!

Nice camera, very good video quality. It plugged and played seamlessly (like everything is supposed to but not everything does). It’s always nice when you don’t have to spend half a day tinkering with settings and downloading drivers (cough-Turtle Beach headset-cough). The adjustable bracket thing to place it on top of the monitor works well on both my very thin laptop screen and my thicker 28” monitor. The little tripod that comes with it is a very nice touch.

Good camera, not as clear of a picture as I thought it would be but certainly an upgrade from laptop camera. I use this for online lessons and still have some sound issues with camera microphone so I will need to buy an a separate condenser mic but for normal speaking or meetings, should be fine as is and yes Zoom audio settings were adjusted. My only real complaint is the thunderbolt or usb c cable that the camera uses. I use an older laptop and finding an adapter for thunderbolt 2 has been a nightmare.
Thank you for your positive review of the Logitech - StreamCam Plus. We're glad to hear that you're enjoying the app's user-friendliness and the camera's image quality. Your feedback is valuable to us.

This is a fantastic webcam, best I have used. I bought it because the built-in webcam on my laptop has poor image quality. In conparison this camera is superior in terms of image quality and has the intelligence to remove the yellow tint in "warm" lighting conditions, which makes the color temperature look very natural. I would give 5 stars if the price was lower.

Super super clear picture 100% worth every Penny. For the price of the camera the quality is outstanding. I wasn’t sure about the size but I never even notice it sitting there on my screen. I can’t get over the quality of the picture tho
We're delighted to hear that you're enjoying the Logitech StreamCam Plus Webcam! It's fantastic to know that the video quality, ease of setup, and value have met your expectations.

Caught this one on sale - but even at full price, it seems like it'd be worth it. Really easy to setup and use, great image quality. Looking forward to really taking it through it's paces in the months to come. And design-wise? It's pretty neat.

Good little camera. It helps me connect with people over my computer instead of over the phone. It's neat and compact and easily adjustable. I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Video quality if very good, streaming and for stills. Setup is very easy. We use a different audio device (Yeti microphone), so we cannot comment on the microphone quality, but so far we've had no issues with performance. The box had some creases upon shipment, but the product itself was fine - if you want the one with the mini-tripod, be sure that you order the StreamCam Plus model.
