Customers are saying

Customers enjoy the ergonomic design, ease of use, and impressive battery life of the MX Master 3 mouse. The scroll wheel and customization options also receive high praise, with many appreciating the precision and responsiveness. However, some find the mouse too large and heavy for their preference, and a few have noted concerns about the software's performance. The price point is also a factor for some customers.

    Best Mouse I've Ever Used

I have always loved Logitech (Logi) for their peripherals and accessories. This mouse is no exception. Quality is unmatched. From the metallic scroll wheels to the easily accessible multi-use buttons, quality all the way. It is incredibly comfortable and form fitting. with two scroll wheels (classic index finger for up/down) and a thumb scroll for left/right, you can get anywhere quickly. One of my favorite features is the button above the index scroll where you can either have a ratchet feedback or undo that for smooth scrolling. I prefer the ratchet but my wife prefers the free scroll. The default buttons should be fine for most casual users, but with the app, you can easily customize pretty much every aspect to meet your specific needs. While I rarely give five stars, I can find no reason to give this MX Master 3 anything less. End of the day, I would highly recommend this to a friend. **PLEASE NOTE** This product was provided to me in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. This is exactly that. 100% Honest and unbiased.

The BEST overall wireless mouse on the market

This thing goes everywhere with me. The button layout, build quality, and ergonomics are such a huge step up from an apple Magic Mouse or any other mouse that will come with a computer out of the box. Very worth the money if you’re anyone using a computer at ANY job. Battery life is great and Bluetooth functionality has never been a problem. The only thing I could see being an issue is this mouse not being suited for outdated computers, but that’s to be expected with such a perfect current day wireless mouse. I would also urge users and future buyers to pick up a little case on Amazon for $10-20 to keep the mouse safe during travel.

Versatile, Comfortable Mouse w/ Mac OS Gestures

The Logitech - MX Master 3 Wireless Laser Mouse for Mac is a comfortable, versatile mouse, with even more MacOS specific gestures available online at the Logitech Options Website. Featuring a 4000 DPI laser sensor, it will outperform virtually every mouse designed for desktop applications. Easy Switch, located on the bottom of the mouse, enables instant switching between 3) computers or iPads. The Gesture button is a great feature. Press your thumb down to open Mission Control & display Launchpad on MacOS. My default mouse is the Logitech G903 Lightspeed Gaming Mouse with PowerPlay. It features an insane 12,000 DPI output & charges continuously when placed or used on the PowerPlay mouse pad. While the versatility & comfort of the MX Master 3 is superior to the G903, the difference in precision moves is noticeable. The G903 dominates, as it was designed to do. The MX master features a built-in rechargeable battery. Charge it by simply connecting a USB-C cable (USB-C to USB-C cable is included; however a USB-C to USB cable that I needed to connect to my Mac Pro is not included). The battery life is phenomenal & it sends an alert well in advance when recharging is needed. CONCLUSION: The Logitech - MX Master 3 Wireless Laser Mouse for Mac will satisfy all but the most demanding (primarily gaming) applications. It's extreme versatility makes it a mouse that will remain on my desktop, along with the Logitech G903. Recommended.

Might Be The Best Mouse I've Ever Owned

If you don't read my full review, just know that the MX Master 3 by Logitech just might be the best mouse I've ever used. I've been using this mouse for over a month now and I've been really happy with it. As a Mac user, I personally enjoy the Apple Magic Mouse and was hesitant to switch. I've used the magic mouse since it was first released back in 2009. The main reason that I bought the MX Master 3 is because I'm starting to use software applications that really benefit from having a 3rd button middle mouse click. Set Up Set up was really intuitive. Simply go to the logitech url found in the packaging to download the software and follow the instructions. Features This is a mouse truly aimed at professional users. It's packed with highly useful and customizable features. The magspeed scroll wheel is super smooth and the added button allows you to choose between two scrolling modes; glide or step. You have other customizable buttons that allow you to set up custom shortcuts based on the program you're using at the time. You can pair your mouse with up to 3 different devices which is perfect for a multi-computer set up. Once you have your devices paired, you can simply press the button on the "1-2-3" bottom and with the click of a button switch to another device without the need to pair using menus on your computer. Just set it and forget it. The software based feature "Flow" allows you to switch between multiple computers in real time by hovering your mouse into a hot corner. In other words, you can have an iMac and Macbook Pro on your desk and use one mouse to control them both, seamlessly switching between computers as if it was a dual monitor set up. The tracking on this mouse is unbelievable. With it's 4000dpi tracking, you can literally track on glass. You can't even do that with Apple's Magic Mouse. Ergonomics The ergonomics are fantastic and it's really comfortable under heavy periods of use. Cons The software doesn't give you the ability to check the battery level. So at any given point, you're not sure if you're close to needing a charge or not. From all of the other reviews that I've read, the battery life is amazing. So far after a month of heavy use, I have not had to recharge the battery yet. Build Quality Originally I had purchased the Logitech MX Master 3 (Mid Gray - Model: 910-005692 - SKU:6404089). I ended up returning that one because after about a week of use the gray started to discolor and turn yellow. No idea why. I'm happy to report however, that I have not had this issue with the MX Master 3 for Mac. This is a really well built mouse and despite my experience with the gray version, I feel like the mouse is made from otherwise premium materials including soft touch rubber, machined metal and quality plastic. Bottom Line If you're a working professional or just spend a lot of time in front of a computer and appreciate great tracking, ergonomic design, custom functionality. This mouse is for you.

Nicely done. I've used MX mice on windows devices for years, they are one my favorite mice, I love the ability to switch between devices, which continues with this MX for Mac. I'm primarily using it on a iPad G7 (newest) with iOS 13.5.1, you need at least iOS 13.4 to provide full Mouse/Trackpad support (and it's a huge change for the better). Apple put some real thought into adding Mouse/Track pac support for touch devices. The MX for MAC is a Bluetooth device, it must be paired with you apple device, before it can be used. This is pretty easy, from settings (image 1), select Bluetooth start scanning for devices you should see MX Master 3 Mac, if you don't turn over you mouse and hold in the bottom button under the 1 2 3 (this is where you can select multiple devices to connect to) for about 5s, the LED by the #1 should start blinking rapidly. Once you see the "MX mouse" on the list of devices, select that name (not using mouse yet). After a couple of seconds it will show that you are now connected to your mouse (image 2). Now as you move you mouse around the screen you will see a white or gray dot on the screen (image 3), not an arrow like windows. When you hover over a clickable area it will pop-up and, when you over a scrollable area the cursor will change to a gray/white line (image 4). Again different from windows. And on the MX mouse you have 2 scrolling wheels, the front center wheel moves content up/down, and the smaller scrolling wheel, closest to your thumb controls side scroll (when available). The center scrolling wheel, moves with precision when moved slowly, but when moved quickly and it allows you to scroll VERY quickly if you move it fast. On the front of the mouse us a USB-C connector (image 6) (USB-C to USB-C cable provided) for charging. A full charge is supposed to last 70 days, based on my use of other MX mice this is accurate. One of my favorite feature of the MX mouse is it ability to pair with multiple devices, I paired mine with Raspberry Pi4, and MacBook Air without any problems. I could move from one to another smoothly with the button below the 1 2 3 on the bottom of the mouse ( I wish this button was accessible from the top of the mouse, as you must pick up the mouse to switch between devices) but no big deal. When multiple Apple devices are used can automatically drag between the devices (pretty cool, I did not expect this, it makes cutting and pasting between device very easy. I used the muse on a leather surface, a marble counter and a glass table, all worked flawlessly, I did not expect the glass surface to work as well as it did. The mouse is VERY accurate, I'm quite impressed, it feels good in my, a fairly large hand, But to get a second opinion I had my wife try it, and she also found it comfortable, but a bit heavy (I hadn't noticed, as it slides very smoothly). I also tried it with windows, and Windows 10 prompted to install a Logitech mouse utility, which allowed for the shortcut button to be programed and for some left/right hand features to be changed. I found it worked just as well under windows as it did with my Apple devices. Another great product from Logitech, And I wouldn't mind a version that could support 4 or 5 connected devices (maybe I'm not normal, like my wife says all the time. ;-)

Amazing features, great battery life, and reliable connection. This beats out the Magic Mouse on every level. It’s more comfortable, has more customizable features, and can work on multiple devices with a click of a button. If you need a mouse for a Mac, this is the one you’re looking for. Anything in the MX lineup is perfect

The amount of customization on this mouse isn’t overwhelming but still enough options to feel like an elite accessory. The wheel spins for days. Everything is adjustable in the software that it comes with. You never know how much you wanted this controller until you get it.

This is the best mouse on the market. I have bought MX Masters over the years and each time a new one comes out I get it as Logitech finds new was to refine and improve the product. This mouse is well built, feels solid with no squeaky noises and simply works amazing on Apple products. I have this paired to 2 different laptops and switching between them is a simple button press on the bottom. If you need an external mouse this should be the only one you look at.

Just as the titles says, no competition with this mouse. Easy to use, so many customizable options and my favorite part of this mouse has to be the scroll wheel. It has two options. One for free scrolling which makes it make pages of web pages, emails or spreadsheets seem like nothing and another one that is more precise. I find myself a lot of the time just scrolling just for fun lol. There are options for whatever OS you are using to make shortcuts for apps or whatever you need. I've had it for almost a month and have yet to charge it. Love how I can pair it with different devices seamlessly. You definitely will not regret buying this mouse.

After using the Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad the last few years this feels great in my hands. No more cramping, much more precise movements when doing detail-oriented tastes like music notation and graphic design, and lots of ability to customize the functions of the buttons. I’m using with my 2018/2020 Mac Mini and the USB Unifying receiver. It works much better plugged directly into the Mini vs a USB hub. The Unifying receiver also works better than using Bluetooth. You are able to use the Unifying receiver for one device and Bluetooth for another like an iPad which is nice. I’ve been a big fan of Logitech accessories for a long time and this does not disappoint!

While expensive, there is no question that this mouse is a solid upgrade from the Magic Mouse provided by Apple. Great feel, amazing battery life ( it can last weeks upon weeks on a single charge) and customizable functions to improve your workflow. The scroll wheel has tactile feel for individual scrolling, when disengages and operates like a flywheel when zooming through long documents, like spreadsheets with thousands of entries. Truly cool! Great investment!

Great mouse! I purchased it with the MX Wireless Keyboard and I’m glad I got them both. The mouse syncs easily to three different devices and you can switch between the devices very fast. The mouse works on Macs and non-Macs. The battery lasts a long time before needing to charge. The mouse fits comfortably in my hand - my hands are on the smaller side. It’s easy to scroll and click on the mouse. I’d recommend this purchase.

The Logi MX M3 Gold Standard for Mouse Upgrades

The Logitech MX master 3 for Mac is the gold standard if you want to upgrade from a standard 2-3 button mouse or Apple’s own Mighty Mouse. This mouse has two scroll wheels, several buttons that are all completely mappable and customizable for anything you can imagine. The Logi software even allows for app-specific button assignments. It’s very curvy and ergonomic. Your thumb rest right on two slim buttons that by default are set to forward/back buttons for your web browser. That alone makes this mouse really convenient to use. The top scroll wheel has some voodoo magic that changes the scroll action from clicky scrolling to a free-spinning but weighted flywheel spinning action based on how fast you spin the top wheel. The clicking can also be changed by simply pressing the button next to the top scroll wheel. The top wheel can also be clicked straight down (not scrolled) for yet another clicking action. There’s another side scroll wheel that is located where your thumb would rest next to the front/back buttons. It has a very fine and smooth mouse pointer movement and feels like a very well-made product with a great app for customizing all the buttons. While it does have lots of buttons, it’s never overwhelming or hard to remember. It also looks great next to my space-grey apple keyboard. It’s a little pricey but is extremely useful and really well made.

It is truly a game changer for my design workflow. The battery life is AWESOME!!!! Best of all no more stupid lagging which is why I jumped ship from the Magic Mouse.
