Customers express satisfaction with the G203 Lightsync gaming mouse's quality, RGB lighting, ease of use, and lightweight design. Many appreciate its comfortable size, particularly for users with smaller hands, and the customizable DPI settings. However, some users reported issues with the left click button feeling too light or exhibiting unintended clicks. Overall, the positive feedback on multiple features outweighs the reported concerns about the left click.

I liked it but I didn't love it. I use it with my laptop and it works amazing for me, I think if I find it wireless on sale I'll buy it immediately. I recommend it if you will use it on a PC.

Low-cost accessory with high-tech appeal
There is no shortage of high-tech gaming peripherals on the market, and they range from inexpensive to not, and from gimmicky to necessity of function.
This Logitech G203 mouse sits in the pocket for me, low on the cost factor, and high on necessity. It offers accurate controls, a tremendous amount of customization flexibility, yet simple basic plug-and-play functions, and looks darn cool with a gradually swirling LED ring around the exterior edges.

I really like this mouse! Its fairly no frills and very lightweight. I felt its a tad smaller than other mouses I've had, but its perfect for my small hands. I love how "clicky" and tactile the two main buttons are. Imagine a cherry blue switch on a keyboard, that's how they sound and feel to me (they even said its on purpose, they use some sort of "mechanical" switch, so it makes sense!), I wish more mouses would have this feature, it feels amazing!
There are two side buttons (usually back, for browsing) and/or they can be reprogrammed to your liking for your games, using Logitech's Ghub software, which also controls the DPI sensitivity and RGB (very nice on this mouse, not on the face, has a nice lighting on the edges). As far as I can tell, they are saved in the mouse, some sort of memory, as I plugged it onto my Laptop, and my DPI profiles where there when pressing the middle top profile button (and I didn't have Ghub installed on that laptop).
In short, great all around gaming mouse for the price. I love the clicky buttons, LOGITECH, IF YOUR LISTENING, CARRY THOSE CLICKY BUTTONS TO ALL YOUR MOUSES FROM HERE NOW!!

I’ve always used gaming mice since they were introduced to the market years ago. They were always better than the old style MS mouse with the roller ball “yep I’ve been gaming a long time”. And wanted a better mouse for our AOI but didn’t want to spend a lot for something I don’t game on but wanted something better than the one included with the system. The Logitech G203 is filling the bill on with this one.
Unpacking and setting up:
The mouse is packed in usual Logitech fashion, with the mouse, instructions and a Logitech logo sticker in the box. The mouse itself if pretty basic. It’s wired so there’s no dongle, and the cable is nice and long, around 7’. I was actually surprised how little this one weighs, there isn’t much weight to it at all so if you like a very light mouse this one will be for you. There are two buttons on the left side and one on top below the scroll wheel used for changing DPI.
You can use this mouse without installing the Logitech G Hub software but you won’t have much control over all the functions. I went ahead and installed the software on our AIO unit and proceeded to set it up. With the software you can control the buttons and set them the way you like. The lighting is something unique with this one, the “G” logo and a strip that runs around the shell below the buttons and palm rest area can be configured to whatever lighting you would like. There’s really no limit on colors and you can pick pretty much anything from the rainbow. You can also control how fast / slow some of the effects run and there is a brightness control along with it.
Use:
This mouse, for the price performs excellently, it’s very accurate and smooth. I’ve set some DPI presets with the control software and all you have to do is press the button below the scroll wheel to cycle through them. For gaming this one seems to be every bit as fast and accurate as any of my other gaming mice and didn’t have a single issue with it. The scroll wheel is a little on the light side for my preference “it’s not weighted like the others I have” and is a little stiffer to roll, “sure that will loosen up over time”.
Now if you like a very light mouse you’ll like this one, “I prefer a heavier mouse”, it weighs in at 83g on my scale, while my G604 is 127G and my old G500s is 134g, the G203 is a lot lighter in comparison, only the G Pro is lighter at 79g. Also the shape of it makes it easy to use right or left handed “just the side buttons are on the left and can’t be moved. It’s not contoured for single handed use and is shaped more like the G Pro.
Conclusion:
If you are budgeting and don’t want to spend a lot on a high end gaming mouse, or just want a very good mouse for everyday use this one will fit the bill. It’s light, very accurate and you can customize the DPI, buttons and lighting any way you like. This would also make a great first time gaming mouse for younger gamers at home.

The G203 LIGHTSYNC is a budget friendly mouse with a classic look and feel, backed up by modern G HUB software. It is dubbed a gaming mouse, but it doesn’t scream gaming whatsoever. Yet it is able to hold its own on the gaming front and still be a great daily driver for those that split their time with work and play. And it is priced right as you get a lot of value here.
A few main hardware points...the mouse houses an 8000 DPI sensor, has mouse buttons that provide that “click” feedback (they call it Mental Spring Button Tensioning) and a light bar that supports the LIGHTSYNC ecosystem. The mouse has a total of 6 buttons.
Aside from the hardware, the biggest drive to this mouse is its software. It seems to be the norm for most peripherals as you can do many things to customize your experience with it.
The Great: I thoroughly enjoy the mouse click feedback. That is probably my most favorite aspect of the mouse. The mouse tracks fine, all the way up to 8000 DPI, but I never go past 3000 for my gaming/work use. The light bar, used in conjunction with LIGHTSYNC , is pretty sweet. I like how I can make the RGB sync up to what’s showing on my screen. They are very bright lights. Truth be told, this only really makes a visual impact when you’re looking at your PC setup from a distance. If you’re actually using the mouse, you won’t notice anything.
The Okay: It does have classic ergonomics, and it may be a deal breaker for those that are used to their modern ergo mouse. I felt that the mouse somewhat lacked contours for hand support, as I’m used to having a mouse fit in the palm of my hand. I also thought it would have been a plus to add another DPI button so that I don’t have to cycle through my settings just to get to my sensitivity of choice. I also felt that the G HUB lagged in reporting when I switched from DPI to DPI.

INSTANT UPGRADE FOR YOUR ONLINE STUDENT TODAY!
Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you an excellent replacement mouse and intro gaming mouse for anyone looking to buy a mouse! It an instant upgrade for anyone not already in the gamer mouse market. Short and sweet, the G203 is a well-built fully customizable 6 button gaming mouse in a traditional and familiar form factor people already know. It is essentially a G203 Prodigy with improved RGB lighting now using LIGHTSYNC. If you have other LIGHTSYNC devices, this will just play with the others so nicely. Whether you are a gamer or have an office/home PC, this should be a contender for everyone's first replacement mouse. The RGBs make it a nice addition to any boring setup in the office or home and it can compliment your already awesome RGB gaming rig until you are ready to unload on your highly anticipated future mouse purchase. Build is one of solid black plastic construction with precision tension springs on the primary mouse buttons making it built to last. The mouse wheel is rubberized/textured while the roll is "clicky" but can be set to smooth if you like.
**Even during this Covid-19 pandemic, this mouse has done a cool thing for my old son during this transition to online schooling - bringing me to my next point. The G203 is more than capable as a mouse including children and adults alike. My 6 yr old son is now more excited to get his online classes done in the mornings during these interesting times for a Kindergartener. He gets to use a COOL mouse that "has colors" and just is thrilled to do "school work". We literally just plugged it in and you get RGB color cycling to brighten things up. The familiar ergonomics combined with modern design and ease of use makes this a serious option for anyone in this competitive budget space.**
Now, for the techy stuff like specs. Here are my notable boxes this mouse checked for me:
-Beautiful RGB lighting
-Ergonomics, aesthetics, and build quality
-8000 DPI sensor and 1000Hz polling rate fully customizable in GHUB software
-6 remappable/customizable button entry level gaming mouse w/ Long manageable cord
-GHUB Mouse Calibration/Customization
GHUB Software takes this otherwise basic mouse to the next level. The gamer-grade sensor offers fully adjustable sensitivity from 200-8,000 DPI and you pick the right level that fits your task. Create up to 5 presets you can cycle through at the click of a button. The G203 has fully customizable lighting effects you can add that final touch to. This is easily worth the price with all you get in this one little package.
Basically…. this is a buy. Remember, you can always try these things out then if you don't like it BestBuy has a return policy so no need to be worried. Be safe and stay healthy!

g203
been testing my g203 so far i’m pretty satisfied with this gaming mouse the design is very simple which mouse people should be comfortable with this type of gaming mouse, the packing of logitech also translate to this latest g203 lightsync, let’s list my pros and cons about this mouse
Pros
- very clean looking gaming mouse it match well with my logitech keyboard
it’s black with matted look.
- the cable are also a tad bit thinner that my Steel series Rival 3, I was surprise that logitech had a much slimmer cord and it also felt great with a rubber like surface
- the ability to customize things on one app the G hub was great, I have c920 camera and g513 keyboard all in one location
- great RGB colors can even select color wave for your mouse, unlike my my g502 that doesn’t support color wave rgb.
- dpi goes all the way up to 8000 I don’t really need to see the point of super high dpi, I only use about 1200 dpi on my setting 8000 is high but that’s awesome
- this mouse is two main button is very clicky much louder than my Rival 3, some people might prefer that and it sounds great, doesn’t sound cheap
- the two side thumb button are also my favorite compare to my Steel series rival 3, I can deff tell where my thumb is sitting so I can click the right one properly during gameplay
- I prefer this more round shape of a mouse compare to my rival 3
cons
- I feel like Steel Series got logitech beat when it comes to RGB command center, my Rival 3 have the ability to fully customize my light zones unlike my g203 which it doesn’t support that in-depth freedom, pls logitech update this!
- it’s a positive but felt like it’s also negative to some, but g203 is very clicky, after comparing the click sounds is deff louder to my previous mouse, i’d say my rival 3 wins this one.
nothing much else I could say, the center wheel felt great just don’t like the look of it, I would say that a negative thing about it, but overall i’d still choose this as my secondary mouse to have in the house.

I bought this mouse for Fortnite, and daily school use and internet surfing. The mouse itself has a great build, and the RGB is great too, except the white, which looks pink-ish. The mouse buttons are great too, since they are clicky and if you are a person who repetitively clicks, this is perfect for you. The right click feels a little weird after a couple off months of use, but it doesn't really bother since I mostly use left click. The mouse has software for you to change the RGB and DPI, and it's called LGHUB. The mouse comes already with rainbow RGB. The mouse wheel is made up of what I believe is rubber? But, it attracts a lot of dust and if you eat while using it, food gets stuck between the grip of the wheel. The DPI button is one of the major flaws, because when you're playing a game, like Fortnite/COD, it sometimes clicks unintentionally, since it has little click resistance. The max DPI is 8,000 DPI, but I recommend 800-1800. The side buttons are great for the price, especially if you play FPS games with keybinds, and if you are a quick worker, for easy switching back and forth for tabs. Overall, the mouse is great for gaming and daily use, and I would recommend this to entry gamers. Another quick flaw is that crumbs, dust get stuck between the DPI button and the small openings near the click buttons.
Hello customer, thank you for this awesome review of the G203 wired gaming mouse! For your one issue, I would suggest getting a can of compressed air to blow out the inside of the mouse, which can sometimes solve the issue of crumbs, dust, and dirt accumulating on one of the switches for either the left or right click. Other than that, if you ever have any issues in the future, please feel free to visit our support site for troubleshooting tips and tricks as well as warranty information. Thank you for being a Logitech customer!

I am a huge fan of Logitech computer accessories. It seems I have more than my share of Logitech device at home, from keyboards and mice to webcams and game controllers. You name it, I own it, or have used it. With a legendary name like Logitech, that has been around for eons they have made plentiful products that impact every day computing user’s lives.
So when the opportunity came up to complete my ‘gaming’ devices, I sprung for this new G203 Lightsync mouse to compliment my G15 Lightsync keyboard. The mouse, like all Logitech products, is a quality well-made product. It is well weighted, comfortable, and effective in being a gaming mouse.
I love the new ethos of Logitech, with its Lightsync feature. Now both my keyboard and mouse work by the same Logitech G-Hub software, controlling the light combination is a snap. The super bright lights on this mouse that identify the “G” is a pleasant reminder that there is something more to this than just the colorful lights. The LED’s within the mouse feature a full 16.8 million colors that can be set to several ‘moods’. Personally I love the “ocean wave”.
The new version of this G203 has a 200-8000 DPI scanning cursor tracking scanner. This is an improvement from the previous model which was limited to 6000 DPI. A DPI is a number of “Dots Per Inch”, an industry-standard term for the sample resolution. More dots, more detail, and in theory for gaming, finer control of the mouse.
The exterior of the mouse does not seem to have changed from the previous model and features the same 6 button layout that people are familiar with. Out of the box, the mouse does have a few neat tricks up its sleeve. The two buttons on the side allow you to quickly move between pages (forward or back a page) while web browsing. The center button behind the wheel allows you to quickly change the DPI resolution, and hence the response speed of the mouse (its a 4 step change by default).
The G-Hub software allows you to change a lot of the default settings on the mouse (much like the keyboard). Among the more interesting options is the assignment of buttons for individual games. One can reassign the buttons to whatever keyboard function you want to duplicate on the mouse. For example, you are going to be copying and pasting a lot of data, one can map the G4 and G5 (back and front page) side buttons to copy and paste. I mapped my “reload” and “buy” buttons for CS:GO to speed up gaming. This adjustment of the buttons to meet the tasks is a neat feature of the G-Hub software.
The G-Hub software also has special pre-built macro’s ready to deploy if you use Discord, Overwolf, or OBS as part of your gaming/streaming/twitch world. This makes things like mute/deafen, capture video/screenshot, streaming/replay, quite a snap. I don’t particularly use Discord a whole lot these days, but there is a large group of people who do.
Gaming experience: I played quite a few hours of Counter-Strike Global Offensive before writing this review. Did the mouse improve my game sniping skills? Well, I’d like to say it did, or maybe it’s the excess gaming that I have been doing while “social distancing” at home, but generally, the transfer to this mouse from my old mouse did improve on my kills. Could it be that there was a slight imperceivable lag on my old wireless (Logitech) mouse that the wired version sped up, but my gaming definitely was fun and much improved. The mouse also worked well with Dota2, but that game is not as intense as CS:GO, but features lots of clicking. The clicking action is very good, rapid, and responsive. I would recommend a mousepad to be used with this mouse, even a cheap basic one does SO much better than not using one. The feel of the mouse on a pad is incredible vs. going without one.
Overall, the mouse is a good addition to my collection of Logitech devices. If you are a gamer, and you are gaming a lot, it is well worth it. I also found this mouse good for graphics editing, as you can assign special keys to the mouse, and also the increased DPI helps to edit images with increased accuracy - I actually found that useful when editing some pictures in Lightroom.
Glad to see you're enjoying the new and improved G203 Lightsync mouse! If anything happens to your mouse, don't forget you have a 2-Year Warranty included with your purchase from Logitech. Also if you have any questions, check out the Logitech Support page for more tips https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024327773 Continue to enjoy!

Looking for a mouse that isn't too big, doesn't weigh a ton, and is small? This is it! I love the feeling of using this mouse, it is the perfect size for my hands, and it isn't heavy like other mice. The thing holding it back from being 5/5 is Logitech themselves. With this mouse comes the program G HUB... I do not know any other program that has been worse to use than G HUB. For a couple of weeks my mouse and keyboard (both Logitech) would go in 1-5 minute intervals of working to not working, to the point of me having to swap peripherals until I plugged them in and the issue was gone. This issue has happened more than once, and with that also, the general use quality of G HUB is awful, but this is a review of the mouse. I've had it for 2 and a half years ish, it works like brand new. It's nice and small for people who have smaller hands and I do recommend it.
I would recommend this to a friend

The Logitech G203 is a simple, minimalistic mouse that delivers excellent performance, especially for the price point and for those on a budget. This is a fairly small, flat mouse and ideal for those with a smaller hand. The Logitech Gaming Software can be used with the G203 to control the lighting and change the button key binds with the 6 programmable buttons. The G203 is an 8K DPI mouse so it offers smooth performance as well.
Overall, the G203 is a great no-frills budget mouse.

I was looking for a simple mouse to plug into an old Macbook pro and this is what I got.
It may be overkill, but it was on sale, so here we are.
The mouse is very responsive, The mouse has a nice heft to it. The scroll wheel isn't the smooth type, but the clicky type. The side buttons and main face buttons are loud and clicky.
The logitech logo and a little light strip underneath have RGB lighting.
All in all, nice little mouse. I just wish the cable was braided, and not the smooth type.

No problems with this mouse whatsoever. Really excellent quality, sensor speed is excellent for gaming, working, and more. I don't notice input lag like I did with even some of the top end wireless mouses.
The colors on the RGB are really vibrant just like the other newer Logitech products.
I'd highly recommend going with the wired mouse and not wireless if you're very set on having absolutely zero lag, you can definitely feel the difference, and I've had about 3 of the latest generation wireless mouses across different brands.
The Logitech app on the desktop allows for further customization, DPI speeds, and custom buttons on the side, which are just as responsive. Had it for a bit and extremely satisfied.
