Build quality feels good. I was surprised by how quiet it sounds while running. Helped to make a great broccoli cheddar soup. Makes a great milkshake. I look forward to using it for applesauce too. The blender part simply unscrews for easy cleaning.

This works great. I use this for my smoothies, and it is fast. The one and only challenge is that the blender is a bit heavy. If you are doing a quick job...no problem. However, if you are doing chopping or another timely job it can be a bit heavy.

My wife loves it.She says it’s a lot easier to use than the mixing bowl.You don’t have the clean up afterwards.It’s small and powerful enough to do the job of your big mixer

My wife loves this tool to mix collagen in her coffee each morning. We use it to mix and mash potatoes. It is powerful and versatile. The only thing we would change is make it cordless! That would increase its ease of use.

Extremely versatile kitchen instrument. Very powerful handheld immersion blender that has an attenuated trigger. The harder you pull the trigger the faster the motor goes. I have rarely had the need to pull the trigger all the way down, as it is quite powerful. Word of advice, hold the unit straight down and a centimeter below the liquid you are blending to avoid splatter. Easy to clean, much less to clean than a blender.

Great tool for the kitchen. I have used it to make soups, dips, milkshakes, and hot sauce with chilis from my backyard. Easy to clean and use.

Tricky to use, no noise, and light. Learning to use it and works fine. A little bit hard to use in a small kitchen. The cord is not flexible and long.

Thought this device was kinda lame out of the box, then I figured out I can control the power of the motor by how much the trigger is squeezed. I had never used a hand blender before and it was somewhat of an impulse buy so I was a little concerned it wouldn't work efficiently and would spray all over and make a mess. Turns out I love it! Mostly I use it to make smoothies and soups. It doesn't spray, cleans easily, blends contents quickly and food comes out just the way I like it. Takes up less room on kitchen counter than a big blender. Probably a cordless one would be nice but corded is less expensive and works fine.

Read every review of this item before purchasing. There were pros and cons to go around, but I settled on this hand blender and the KitchenAid name due to the quality of my mixer so I took a chance. And I am glad I did. I have yet to experience any cons. Before I was using a hand held mixer over my pot filled with cooking dates to blend them into a creamy filling for my maple date nut bars and even on the lowest speed it splattered. NOT SO this great device. I could easily handle this blending dates in the same pot without splatter. Also, it is lighter and easier to handle which is better for my arthritis. Easy clean up, too.

This is amazing gadget to have in the kitchen. Will be using it alot. How did i ever not have one? I make wonderful soups and salad dressings with it. So easy to clean and so little to wash. Got it with a discount and it is one of the best gadget I have in the kitchen! Love it! I bought the one with the cord.
