This vacuum really sucks, and I mean that in a good way it’s very powerful hair definitely does not get stuck in the roller. The fact that it is rechargeable means there’s no cord the trip over which is very convenient. The only reason it gets four stars is because I think it should come with a few more attachments for that price.

I love this vacuum. It makes vacuuming the house so easy! I actually bought the Dyson Animal v8 from Costco first and hated how top heavy it was and how you had to keep your finger on the trigger the whole time. This vacuum is well balanced, has plenty of suction, vacuums my entire 1400 sq ft house on one charge and is easy and compact to store. I also love how hair doesn't tangle up the rollers as I have long hair that was constantly clogging up our last vacuum's roller brush. I highly recommend this vacuum.

This vacuum is fantastic. I can clean our entire 2000 sq ft home on only 1/3 of a full charge, and it never loses suction. The self-cleaning rollers are amazing - no more time spent cleaning out hair afterwards. The flexibility of the attachments is wonderful. I can vacuum all the way under beds and sofas without even having to bend down.

Needed a second vac to supplement my Dyson V11. Battery lasts longer than I expected, but has to be ran on the carpet setting holding the heavy duty trigger on hard floors to suck right. No hair gets stuck in the vac head and it’s easy to handle and not heavy at all. The light is everything. The quality and feel could be a little richer for the price, but I do recommend!

I will explain in a sec. First I want to say that this Vacuum is really cool looking and has some neat features. Like how the Bristles are replaced by a brush and blades. This allows the vacuum to glide across the carpet, tile and hardwood floors to pick up dust, grime a hair( Pet, human or extensions.) alike. I has a removable battery that can be replaced, if the need ever arises. But you don't need to detach it from the vacuum to charge it, as The port is always accessible. This vacuum does have two standard settings that are chosen from the top of the main unit( which actually looks like a Cosplayer's dream gun, when not attached to any of the ..well.. attachments. There's also a trigger on the main unit that allows you to add some extra power to your suction. But speaking of those attachments. It comes 5 attachments 1) Multi-flex under-appliance wand 1) Duo-Clean Power-fins Vacuum 1) Multi-angle Dusting brush 1)Standard Dusting brush w/ detachable scrub brush & 1) Crevice tool. Not to mention, the battery charging brick for that removable battery. So that makes 6 attachments, doesn't it? Well, with that being said, here's my big issue. Most vacuums I've ever used, have a slot or connector so you can store most if not all of your accessories, but not here. You're going to need a special box, with the words Shark Vacuum Attachments written in big letters, so you can keep track of all of your parts. Seriously, there's nowhere to put your tools on this would be, amazing piece of tech. That's a huge flaw when your unit costs $350. USD. What where those guys thinking over at Shark? That's just too much for lost potentially lost parts. Sorry. I can't recommend this vacuum to you. Even though that Multi Flex wand sounds neat, it won't be used enough to matter. And the "Mult" only really means one angle flex. It's only really good for balancing the vac and easy transportability. Bottom line. I'm not impressed.

I just got this vacuum and I love it. I didn’t think a battery-powered vacuum could have such excellent suction, but it does! And the freedom from the cord is PRICELESS! I’m very happy with the long crevice tool, as I have been very frustrated by short crevice tools before. I look forward to vacuuming every day now! This is not normal!

I purchased this item based on a recommendation. I have now used this item for less than a month and here is my input based on my usage. Pros: 1. Lightweight. 2. Ease of use. 3. For my use, the battery seems to be holding up for about 2-3 uses before I have to recharge. Cons: 1. Top heavy, so you will have to stand it against a wall, so it does not tip over or remove the battery portion of the vacuum. Not a big deal, but a hassle. 2. I personally think the suction power is not as powerful as the corded equivalent. 3. The vacuum head has a light, so you will pretty much see all the dust and grime. Now, this can be a useful feature or an annoying feature especially if you are trying to get a quick clean, but you end up spending way more time than you initially intended. Who would want to leave a grimy, dusty floor? :)

This vac is nice. I have birds that love to molt and seed the carpet. It is nice to grab this and clean the mess fast without any cords. Good purchase. But the cost? It thinks it's a Dyson.

Love this vacuum it's definitely different from my dyson v8 , I would say a step up in ease of use, battery life and it's price well. When I bought it I intended to get a second battery but after using it I don't feel the need to. It's a bit heavier but with the floor attachment but you don't feel it because it rolls so smoothly. Great buy.

I will be returning this vacuum to the store and purchasing the LG cordzero. This is the loudest vacuum I’ve ever had, heard or seen. Ridiculously loud. My old vacuum is a Shark Duo Clean Cordless and I really liked it, but I can’t say the same about this one. I will say the battery seems to be pretty good, although it only comes with 1 battery and my old vacuum come with 2, which is handy. The suction seemed pretty good as well. I just can’t handle the noise. Personally it is worth spending the extra money and getting the LG, especially if you can find it on sale or an open box deal.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. We are sorry to hear that you will be returning the unit as you are finding it to be louder than your other Shark. We would like to let you know that the noise is noticeable on certain floor types (nylon or indoor/outdoor rugs) you may be hearing the power fins engage with the floor. Switching to Hardfloor mode may improve the noise. We appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve our products.

I have the Shark Robot vacuum and it is useless. I have given up on it. I was needless to say hesitant to buy this Shark Vertex DuoClean. So far I love it. Its battery life is limited as I do have wall-to-wall carpeting in every room except the kitchen and bathrooms. Running both brushes uses more power. This machine will not replace a full size vacuum but it is lightweight and easy to use to do quick clean up jobs and quick carpet cleaning. You don't have to hold the power switch down all the time as you do with the Dyson and it is not as expensive.

Vacuum is surprisingly powerful for a small size. It fits well in our closet. Battery lasts for a full cleaning of the house. My only issue is that the attachments are kind of difficult to mount and use.

Great and lightweight! The charge lasts about an hour and the vacuum itself has great suction. The container is a bit small for the amount of dirt and dust it picks up. Be sure to read the instructions for cleaning and storage. Definitely worth the money.

I purchased the Shark Duo Clean F281 a few years ago. It has been a fantastic little vacuum! After using this vacuum for a month, there are things I like better, and things I like less. Cons: 1. This vacuum only comes with one battery. Although it last longer than the older vacuum, it won’t do my house twice, so it has to be charged every time I use it to make sure it will have enough charge each use. A second batter is $89.95. 2. The grip on this vacuum isn’t has comfortable as the older one. My hand seems to ride up on the handle. It isn’t a huge deal, but the older grip is better. 3. Not sure if I like the new boost trigger. The older one had a button that timed the boost for 30 seconds. The new one needs to be pulled and released as you need to use it. 4. The battery isn’t as easy as the older one to take on and off. Pros: 1. I don’t have to clean the filters as often. 2. The dirt tank is washable. 3. The dirt etc. comes out of this tank better. I don’t have to reach in and pull lint etc out like on the older model. 4. The soft fins and bristles do not get hair or thread wrap. 5. The soft roller doesn’t get lint etc. stuck in the comb that rubs along the roller. 6. The main vacuum head will fit directly on the motor part. 7. The tube that fits on the main vacuum head is flat, so it fits under furniture better. I would recommend this vacuum to anyone that has rugs and hardwoods etc. I love the fact that I can press a button and go from one surface to the other. The other selling point for me was the ability for storage. It folds in half, so I can keep it where I want to. I don’t have to have an outlet to store it so it can be charged. The battery can be removed and charged separately. I really like this vacuum. It is easy to use, comes with the tools I need, and has enough suction to clean up the messes I have. With two little Schnauzers coming in and out of the house, this vacuum makes it easy to use on a daily basis. So much nicer than my old canister!

Nice vacuum - love that its cordless. Battery makes it a little heavier at top but was fine with me. Love that it has lights on the front, suction was good. Handle bends for easy storage. I like how it can get under furniture, beds, etc. Battery life was ok for my use.
